This is a tale set in a medieval fantasy world with magic and monsters. Should you wanna play your character would be a new recruit or member of the Lunari of fate.
We'll come back to this group but before we do let's talk abit about fate...
It is believed that the threads of fate are connected to each sentient soul, that countless gods weave invisible strings to puppet destiny into motion...
It can be said that one's success or failure is based entirely on something unseen, or at the very least unseen by a vast majority. We can circle back to this topic.
For most of the world, these threads of fate are just a fancy way of describing random chance.
You have terrible luck? Thats just the will of the gods...
You have a beautiful family and raised generational wealth? The gods must favour you...
This is both true and false at the same time. It's a tricky thing to explain but can be put rather simple.
One should never dismiss the perseverance and efforts of mortals, however some are simply favoured by the gods...
For the ones known as Luthiers, these threads are another matter. For a Luthier is one who can see and effect strings of fate... What does that mean? Alot. Luthiers have the ability to change fate and defy destiny. They are the natural enemies of those chosen by gods...
When the impossible happens it's usually because of many strings of fate or a Luthier.
This story is focused on "The Lunari of Fate" or their newest recruits.
The Lunari of Fate is a independent/religious guild of mercenaries with ties to the kingdom of Gitguud. Religious in the sense that they believe Luthiers come from the Moon Deity and worship said deity by upholding balance within their lives and the world at large.
Part of the Guilds activities involve seeking out and raising potential Luthiers, teaching Lunari morals and the arts needed to defy fate.

Hoping for three or four players able to post a few paragraphs once or twice a week. The rp would be about Luthiers doing quests to maintain balance within the world. This can range from saving a village to toppling a kingdom... its all over the place but there's a arc with a ending providing the rp lasts long enough.
Magic works like most of my fiction. There can be exceptions but it's generally like quirks or bending in the sense everyone gets one type.
Fire mana = fire magic.
Illusion mana = illusion magic.
Etc etc
