Nicholas Lee knew he seemed like an asshole for caring less to nothing about the younger female crying but Nicholas figured that he was more of the type of person who might add salt into the wound rather than sugar and comfort. As such, he kept his distance and focused on what the platoon was going to do next. Were they going to see each other more often from now on? Probably so but in what context and how often, he wondered. Just as he was about to look into the corpses that were lying around, the presence of a familiar male had halted him.

The grey-haired male was ready to answer the other male's question when the greeting of "hey daddy" made a small vein on his forehead pop. He was a tad bit annoyed but he vaguely remembers an incident that occurred that revolved around a woman, who was rather...exposing in her dressing, calling him daddy too.

He gave Levi a side glance before replying, "Don't call me daddy-"

Just as he was about to finish his sentence, the priestess from before had also, chimed in on his apparent new nickname. For some reason, Nicholas could already predict that later down the line, the name he would have to answer by was 'Daddy'. Biting his lower lip slightly in a show of irritation, he raised a finger in front of him before saying, "I'm only letting this one go since we've just met."

"However, the next time, I won't be such a good daddy." He ended with a glare before resting his raised hand on his hip.

There's a laugh that rolls from Eurielle, light and free but it turns into a stunned embarrassment soon after. She doesnt say anything, looking away from the other, finding the floor less... Intense. The priestess rubs Novas back gently in both habit and nervousness. Maybe she shouldn't follow in Levis jokes... Or was it a joke? Slowly raising her eyes again, she look at Levi with timid curiosity. With how he is dressed and his personality, Eurielle had to guess it was probably a habit or maybe a show of interest. Theres a look of 'ah, well that's how it is' on the womans face, cheeks still flushed with a tinge of red.

Lingering on her current thoughts for only a moment more, she begins to wander away from Nova, offering a small pat before leaving. Her shoes echoed nicely against the old floor, metal chiming elegantly against wood, "How do we get out of here...?" She muses aloud. "And where shall we go after that?" Eurielle turns towards most of everyone now, obviously trying to suggestions. There are a few things she has in mind, one being to take a bath.

"Whatever you say, daddy." He smirked as he proceeded to inform the group, "The best course of action is to steer east, Athenard is quite near here since we're near the border of it." He opened the cathedral doors and let the cold wind of the night enveloped the chapel. He was slightly familiar with the land of Lustelia as he had been near the border of it, doing some private matters by a man who requested his 'services'. It wasn't that he hated going to other countries for help, it's just that he wasn't too fond of travelling. "A librarian I know may have some information about this powers of ours." He said as he went outside and admired a small rose bush near the chapel. It was a full moon, shining brightly upon the group.

He proceeded to look at the group, wondering on what their fate will be on this grand expedition of theirs. The group founded an inn as they had crossed the border of Lustelia to Athenard. There was really no border patrol since it was clear by a line that marked their territory. The group rented some rooms, most of them were inside a room that had four beds but Levi and Nicholas shared a bed together. Levi was slightly tempted to pounce on him but he slept with nice dreams. It was morning, the birds were chirping while the flowers were blooming. A breakfast was delivered to them by one of the maids of the tavern. It was some blueberry waffles with a side of baked apple pie that has been glazed in sugar. It was the start of a new day.

The turtle removed his mask and started to speak on his reason on why he helped the group,
"To be honest, I didn't really know why. It just came to me."
He knew that his reason wouldn't be taken seriously but it was the only reason that he could give.
David proceeded to remove his turtle helm, showing his

He was happy as he went with the group, some company wasn't truly bad as he died a few years ago.

Countdown to Childbirth

After briefly comforting the younger woman, Ashley took a quick chance to look around the ruined cathedral. Feeling her baby fidgeting again, the young mother now started thinking about resting. Since going home was not exactly an option. Not with the amount of people she was with. Seeing that they all just met, got banded together to save the world, a place to rest, recuperate, get to know each other and perhaps...plan their next move. Oddly enough, the day barely started and Ashley was already worn out. That was probably among one of her many complaints about pregnancy. She certainly wasn't getting any smaller, but she was definitely getting bigger, something she didn't entirely look forward to. It was going to get more and more difficult for her to fight. Was she prepared for that? Were the rest of the group prepared for that? Hopefully. While cradling her unborn child, her fingers interlocked beneath the belly, Ashley looked towards the exit before following one of the guys who was already walking outside.

Once she was outside, she felt the wind blowing against her hair, which was thankfully tied into a ponytail, her dress and her cardigan. Once the rest of the group comes out, they could leave, set out on their journey.

Sicarius spent a few more moments watching over the body of her fallen teammate before getting up and dusting off her dress. Picking up the storybook she made her way over to the rest of the group catching a glimpse of one of them exiting the chapel. Looking around the group Sicarius thought for a moment before speaking up “Let is not linger here much longer, although we will need to inform someone of our fallen friend” She spoke quietly glancing over her shoulder to the body of Kari. After the quick glance she started towards the door, her heels clicking against the rotting wood of the chapel. Once outside she let her hair out of the tight bun that it had been tied into, the roses and decorations fell to the floor with dull thumps and she shook her head letting her hair flow freely in the wind. If it were not for the dress she would look like a normal person wondering the streets.

@ Everyone

The rest was well-deserved.

Father Nicholas hadn't been tired physically for a long time. After the battle, the platoon had made their way to the inn for an overnight stay. After all, it wasn't as though someone would volunteer to give up their living space for a gang of six individuals. With that being said, it wasn't sooner that most of them figured their pockets weren't as deep as Levi's. His profession was questionable and Nicholas hadn't want to impose on any personal details. As such, he managed out a small "thanks" before they made their way up to their shared room.

The moment his body hit the mattress, he found himself passing out and placing the worries of the next day behind him. He found himself enjoying his sleep. However, he swore he could feel someone quite close to him in his sleep.

Now that it was morning, Nicholas Lee was one of the very few who woke up first. The first thing he did was take a brisk, cold shower. He told himself he needed to get some new clothes, considering the work shirt he wore from the previous day had remnants of their battle-- debris, a bit of dried blood and dust, in general. He found himself wearing his same work shirt but with the sleeves rolled-up to his elbows alongside the top couple of buttons on his shirt unbuttoned as he tried to battle the heat.

He stood by the small dining table, figuring the others would do better sitting (namely, the pregnant woman and the female who was crying the day before). He stabbed a small piece of blueberry waffles before placing it into his mouth. He then proceeded to use his tongue to lick off the access syrup from his lips before suggesting, "I propose we look around for a market, of sorts. Getting supplies and being equipped would be easier as we have no idea what will happen next."

The morning was nice, he proceeded to eat the stacks of blueberry waffles, while slightly getting a small slice of apple pie. "There is a bazaar of equipment in the main district, there's even a poster announcing it, behind priestess girl's back." He pointed to a small flyer posted within the announcement board reading:

Come one, come all! The annual weapon expo will be happening on xx-xx-xx in the morning!
What will be included?

  • Weapons and armor galore! All for a very low price!
  • Smithing panels on how to make weapons efficient
  • Live performance by The Roses!
What are you waiting for? Join in!

The poster was a tad bit odd, 'The Roses? Never heard of 'em.' He thought as he wondered on how much money he had left within him. "Also, when going there, we should split up and meet later." He said to the group as it may be a large event. He hasn't been to Athenard around this time of the year. It was a nice treat for him to visit his old bookworm friend, Samson. He stood up and went to the bath, his plate was already finished and they had no time left since it was already happening as the group was eating their breakfast. He took a small shower before wearing his clothes again. He wasn't too fond of getting new clothes and he liked that he kept his chest exposed, it made him feel confident.

David left the inn, wondering on what happened to the whole land of Hellion.

Before relaxing with the others at the inn, Eurielle wrote up a letter to her family, telling them she will return home within the next two days. And that she has a few people joining her as well. There's an obvious tremble in her writing, a blank stare with a faulty smile as she tries to explain some events in her letter. At the very end of it, she signs it with her signature and folds it up neatly. A little bit of hot red wax and a seal of her family crest and she sends it immediately.

When the letter is submitted, she makes her way to the showers and doesnt come out for almost three hours. She went straight to bed. In the early morning, the priestess is one of the first to wake up and was fixing up her dress. She decided to just put that on and left her shoes on the side until after breakfast. She starts off with some orange juice and waits for the others to join her for breakfast, scribbling some things down on some paper.

Eurielle has a big sweet tooth, eating a majority of the more sweeter things provided when everyone woke up. She was on her third slice of pie when Levi pointed out the poster, humming through her chewing. "We should 100% go!" She says after swallowing. Her face is glowing and she looks a little better now that her face is clean of dirt and blood. She does tilt her head in question at the dancer. "Who are The Roses? And why should we split up?" She asked, wondering if thats such a good idea.

They were all going to be targeted by the creatures that are to come... Or well, if they are already a big enough threat. If they split up, it could mean they might ambushed one by one. It made her nervous and frankly, quite nauseous. Eurielle hummed again, leaning on her elbows as she cupped her face in thought. "Also, does anyone feel... Different, after that battle?" She asked, looking at everyone with a gentle observation. "Stronger...?" She adds.

[Mood: Uncomfortable, Worried]
[Equipped: Ebony Bow and a Quiver with 55 Arrows]
Pregnancy Progression: 30 Weeks

Countdown to Childbirth

After leaving the cathedral, Ashley would take the chance to rest and relax at the inn. When they had gotten their room, which was in the basement since there were so many people, the first thing the young mother did was take off her gear and getting into bed. No longer worrying about the weight of her bow and quiver, her boots or her cardigan, she undid her hair to let it flow more freely. Without it being tied into a ponytail, it was down to her upper back almost, maybe a little lower. Still, she was just thankful to be in a comfortable bed. Because she was tired from the pregnancy taking its toll on her, the young mother ended up being out like a light. In her sleep though, she would continually groan, toss and turn through out the night. More often then not, her unborn baby was simply very active whenever she tried to sleep...or she was just having a nightmare. Some nights it was both. For this night, the baby was just active.

The next morning, Ashley would be the last to wake up, as pregnant women often slept in, requiring up to eleven hours of sleep, minimum. That was already half the day, but to be fair, she slept the earliest too. Following a shower, after getting her cardigan, bow and quiver, she straightened out her lovely dress before putting on her boots and then joining her newfound companions. For breakfast, Ashley stayed away from the sweets and just went for vegetables or anything that would be considered nutritious for both her and the baby, being rather mindful of what she ate as she often worried about harming the poor unborn child. She took the time to enjoy her breakfast, wanting to relax and take it easy after the previous day's battle. At the mention of getting new clothes, Ashley perked up smiling, cradling her tea cup. "I hope they have some floral dresses then. I love those...a lot." She smiled sheepishly before going back to finishing her breakfast.

In truth, part of the reason why Ashley enjoyed wearing floral dresses throughout the pregnancy was because not only they were cute, but they made her feel more secure about the pregnancy altogether. While she didn't pay much mind at the mention of the Roses, she did have a look of concern when someone said something about splitting up. "As long as we're together when its time to leave. I am not going to wander by myself...The idea of that makes me uncomfortable." She said, her voice filled with concern.

When the Priestess asked if anyone felt different following their battle with the Necromancer and the malevolent Priest, Ashley nodded. "Well, my baby has been more active. She's been kicking and fidgeting a lot more...Won't even let me sleep. So if anyone knows how to calm an unborn baby, now's the time to say something." She responded. "Aside from my pregnancy complaints, to legitimately answer your question, I feel a little different, but nothing drastic." She sighed as she finished a bowl of mixed fruit.

After she was done eating, she cleaned herself off before taking a tooth pick to get remaining food residue out of her mouth.

{Sicarius Knowles/ Level 5/ Storyteller}
{Feeling: Extremely tired and sad}

Sicarius discarded the hoop skirt of her dress in the room and sat against the wall of the room so the others could use the beds. She stayed awake most of the night reading by candle light and keeping watch of the door to the room like a guard dog. When she finally fell asleep the candle had burned out and the book rested on her lap while she snored softly, toppling softly to the side finally comfortable. The next morning she awoke last and stretched, looking around the room she noticed everyone else had left and Sicarius pushed herself up quickly and made her way to the dining area, picking up a piece of bread and some sweet preserves to spread on top along with a cup of tea. "I'll need to buy something less fancy if we need to be able to hide in plain sight" She commented before digging into her small breakfast as the others continued to discuss the plans for the day. She seemed to tired to properly contribute at this moment and just nodded when she agreed with the others at the table. after finishing her food she fixed her hair quickly up into a plain and scruffy bun so it was out of the way and she could get on with her day uninhibited.

"If we need to spilt off, I suggest pairs or groups of three just so we can get around easily and look like we are doing normal things or normal people" She said looking at the celling in thought, it seemed that she was trying to match people into groups that would not attract attention or cause a commotion by their snide comments at each other. t seems that she has tuned out for the time being to think and try to solve a problem.

(Sorry for the short post!)

The exorcist couldn't help but scan the flyer that was posted right behind the priestess. Undoubtedly, the platoon would require weaponry to arm themselves against any upcoming and surprising battles that were to come. He figured he could get a pistol or two, his probable weapon of choice.

At the suggestion of splitting up, he pondered for a moment before nodding in agreement. He just needed to be in a group with the richest someone who knew their way around the area. Or at least, had a good sense of direction. Father Nicholas then said, "I'll be in a group with anyone. Everyone can choose and I'd follow through."

He then fixed the collar of his work shirt properly again before calling out as he headed to the door, "Let's head out."

-----

Once outside the entrance of the inn, Nicholas used his right hand to shield his eyes from the sun. It wasn't glaring at all but he'd kill for a lovely breeze up a small mountain top.

A mix of sound polluted the air as shouts from merchants echoed from each corner of the bazaar alongside the people who are interested in business, haggling away as they try to pin down on the best deal they can obtain. Several animals like donkeys and horses occupied certain parts of the occupied streets as its' owners begin to wrap up their purchased weaponry for the ride back home. However, what caught Nicholas' attention was an elderly lady who seemed to be obtaining less business compared to the other weaponry stalls.

Displayed on makeshift racks were an array of clothing for all three, male, female and children. One could see that Nicholas Lee's attention was caught by the sight of newly-woven clothing, the complete opposite of the soiled top he had on.

"So who's coming along with me?" He asked, figuring a few of his comrades might have already had individuals in mind that they'd like to team up with. Nicholas figured he'd end up with those who weren't in a group as he doubted a less....friendly individual like him would have avid fans.

Adeline and Devin are setting up their booth for the annual weapon expo, because their parents sent them to the expo in Athenard so they can get more money. “Adeline, did you set up the guns yet?” said Devin, who was setting up the swords.
“Not yet, since I am almost done with setting up the spears.” said Adeline.
“Then hurry up and finish that. We don't have a lot of time before the expo is open.” said Devin.
“Ok.” said Adeline. She eventually started to set up the guns for the booth, and later, finish setting up all of the weapons.
“Now to put up a 50% sale sign, and we are good to go for the expo.” said Adeline.
Adeline put the 50% sign up in a spot where everybody can see it, for their weapons are usually around 30 gold coins, thanks to the quality.
“And I am done, and can I go to The Roses’s concert now, Devin? I really want to see that.” said Adeline.
“Alright. You can go see that, Adeline, but come back here once the expo is over.” said Devin.
“Ok, and I will come back here, Devin.” said Adeline, as she then left to go see the concert.

[div class="speech"]"There isn't a story to tell."[/div] Frankly because even he didn't know the story behind it. But having people believe it was a tattoo would be faster than telling them it showed up out of nowhere. [div class="speech"]"And to continue. Yes, I'd follow you. Up until Abe arrives at least. This was originally his task."[/div] [/div] [div class="paragraph"] "Well, speak of the devil." Sei saw the man he'd been talking about come into view. As their gazes met, the soldier called Abe rushed to their side. "Well there he is. Thanks for your expert opinion on smithing, Sei. Abe and I will have fun in your stead. Stick around see the wares." [/div] [div class="paragraph" style="margin-bottom: 0px;"] He bowed before taking his leave, now left with an unexpected amount of free time. Sei wasn't expected back at the castle until two weeks from now, as he'd been given time for a leave... forcibly. He hadn't realized it, but he hadn't had proper time off ever since he'd been inducted into the guards. When his commander realized it, he'd been told to take time off after his current duties finished. And now that the task was done, Sei wasn't sure what to do with his time now. Typically he would have gone home, but at the moment he was in a completely different kingdom. His family would never let him live unless he made use of that fact. And for once, he agreed. With his siblings in mind, he began looking for something to bring home to each one. [/div] [/div] [/div] [/div] [/div]

The convention center was quite organized, it wasn't too dirty while it wasn't too clean. It was a nice event, the sellers ranged from young ladys to old men. It seemed that everyone there had the potential to smith. There were others who sold swords while others sold maces. Some sold cloth armors while others sold metal plates for their defense as well. Orbs and books were on sale as well but in seperate aisles, within the Magic Equipment section. The sellers were quite organized. No one seemed to be in a panic, everything was going smoothly. Levi heard what Nicholas had said and responded with, "I'll go with you. I have a feeling you don't have any money so my wallet's free." He smiled as he proceeded to look at his clothes, "I think some clothes would be needed, as well as an orb to help channel your powers." He wondered on what to do next.

"Well, if everyone is settled on their partners, then let's go." If anyone were to be in need of cash, anyone can just ask for a small loan as he had 50 gold coins, which equated to 5,000 silver coins, and which equated to 50,000 bronze coins. He was rich in cash, all thanks to his job. He held Nicholas' hand and went to where the orbs were. There were multiple stalls selling different types of orbs, some had a blue tint, others had a swirling vortex that was red within them. A single orb had a star within it, constantly shining. Another orb seemed to have an eye, constantly staring at anything that looks at it, Levi was creeped out by the orb. The prices of the orbs were from 20 silver coins to 1 gold coin.

Price Of Orbs:
Blue Orb - 20 silver coins
Red Orb - 30 silver coins
Eye Orb - 50 silver coins
Star Orb - 1 gold coin

Eurielle felt rather good after eating all that sweets, even if she will crash pretty hard later on. Her eyes glanced around the table at Nicholas statement. "Ah, well..." She looked to Ashley and offer her usual kind smile. "I'll stay with Ashley, just in case she goes into early labor." She says, laughing a little. "If, that's okay?" The priestess asked with mild shyness. She didnt want to impose on the woman, but she did feel like it would be best if they paired up since she might be the only one with experience (limited but still!!).

After the table clears, Eurielle starts to feel her little sugar rush kick in and her eyes are wide, bright, and full of energy. Oh, she is so going to regret this later. Her new found alertness had her noticing Nicholas eyeing the old womans stand among the bustle of the city. "How is everyone on money? I can purchase things for you guys..." She says, though she doesnt appear to have anything on her, not even a coin purse. When she notices the looks, she gives off a smile with a laugh. "My family... are well known here. They probably will be displaying some things here, but I'm not entirely sure where." Eurielle explains shyly, if not a bit awkwardly. As if she wasn't proud.

Her brief gloom is replaced by her previous bright smile and she looks to the ladies of the group. "I could buy you clothes more fitting and clean for you--" and then she looks at the males, "Well, of course you guys too!" She laughs, her cheerfulness somewhat contagious.

Eventually she took to Ashleys side and stood by her with a beaming smile. "Shall we go for a bit if shopping?" She asked, obviously excited by this. Many people were here and there's a bunch of side shows and musicians to look at. But the main event, the arrival of the Roses seemed to be more towards the center of this convention. At least, that's where a majority of the bigger lights were coming from. "Where would you like to go from here, Ashley?" Eurielle asks.

What a lively place Athenard is when it holds conventions. The city is quite prim for Invictis, it's not really his style since everyone here has a stick up their ass about status and how much they know about what. It was fun though, when people of all sorts came around to display their works, or arts about anything. Theres even some holy men here to spread the great worth of the gods. What a joke really. The gods rarely ever interfere with the mortals, its even clear that the father of these gods and all life doesnt even care about anything below him. Its just another con to get people to spend their money to aid the churchs. Really, Invictis could do without that here but at least it wasnt like last year.

Invictis' eyes skimmed across the faces of all sort from behind a beautiful metal eyemask, his lips stayed as a thin line. Expressionless as his hands danced with such speed that most common folk couldnt keep up with. He did little magic tricks, making things disappear and reappear. All while swiping these peoples coins off their belts and bags. He wasnt caught just yet, but he knew better than to stay in one spot for too long. He swiftly completed his last trick, a simple show of dexterity as he juggled a bunch of colorful balls. The masked man then flourished and caught all the balls before the bowing. A smaller ball fell from his vest and exploded into a puff of smoke as people clapped. No one saw him dart off with all his claimed goods and left not a single trace aside from a lone round table to signify that he was there.

Invictis darted along the crowd to make some distance and while moving, he removed his garments and mask to appear like a normal civilian of Lusteria. He smoothed out his shirt and stalked casually around the stalls, looking at what people from all over came with today. Lots were mostly clothing, and he purchased a few odd accessories just to help out the individuals who werent getting as much attention, encountering an interesting man at one of the vendors. He's probably from Cherai, and he looks pretty serious. Invictis doesnt even try anything, but he admired the sword which was at the mans side. It reminded him of his mother. He left the little shops and hummed as he felt a buzz of exhaustion upon him from all his previous shows. Lugging around a bag full of coins of gold and his costume also didn't help his situation.

The dark haired man gives a sigh as he picks around his pockets for a cigarette, turning the corner when he catches whiff of a pleasent smell of food. Usually this city is all about rich top end restaurants that didn't really cater to people who visited here. But when the convention rolls around, its a week of diverse foods. diversity is quite nice and you cant ever go wrong with food vendors here. His journey for food was stopped short however by a young woman who seemed to be in quite the rush. They collided but he did not fall, instead he slid back and caught the small girl by the shoulders out if sheer reaction. His odd deep reddish brown eyes looked down at her in slight surprise. "Excuse me, it might be best you don't run here." He says, pushing the woman away from him awkwardly but gently since she was practically in his chest. The girl smells of soot and gun powder. Slightly harsh on the nose.

Adeline was running through the expo, so she can see The Roses's concert. ‘I hope that they haven't started the concert.’ thought Adeline. Not wanting to miss it, Adeline kept on running. However, that was interrupted when she accidentally crashed into someone.
Adeline's reaction was completely off guard by this, and she thought that both of them would fall to the ground from the impact. But that didn't happen, thanks to Invictis catching her by the shoulders. “I-I am so sorry! I didn’t mean to run into you like this, and…” said Adeline, who was acting strange now.
She then tilted her head in pure confusion, for Adeline didn't know that her marks were making her act like that. “Who are you? I feel like I supposed to be with you for some reason, and I don't know why.”
The marks from her hips glowed after she had said that, and this freaked Adeline out. “What?! What just happened, because my hips aren’t supposed to glow.” said Adeline, scared.

When Eurielle offered to accompany her during the Weapons Expo, Ashley only smiled. "I'd appreciate the company. And I don't think you'll have to worry about me going into labor anytime soon. I still got ten more weeks until the baby is due to arrive. If I go into labor this early...It wouldn't be good for me or the baby." Ashley reminded her. Sure, Ashley didn't mind the Priestess' Company. After all, it would be safer that way, given how much aches and pains came with pregnancy. If she needed it, the Priestess could help her with pain relief, whether naturally or with magic. But as far as she was concerned, no magic was going to help her through labor. She did hear from her sister that nothing is more fierce then a mother's love. Hopefully she wouldn't have to learn that the hard way. As she gently caressed her swollen belly, Ashley slowly stood up.

For a Priestess, the young mother found it strange for her to have quite a sweet tooth, even more so then Ashley herself. When asked about money, Ashley shook her head. "Oh, don't worry about me, I should be fine for a while, the Maundrell Family is fairly well-off too." Once the group started splitting off, whether alone or with another companion, Ashley stayed close to Eurielle. Looking at the bustling market, she didn't even know where to start. "I'm probably gonna sit out on the concert. Honestly, after shopping, I'd rather just rest. Its getting tough for me to be on my feet for extended periods of time. I mean...If we find ourselves in battle, sure, I'll stick it out a little longer, but I don't want to stand longer then I need to." She said as she glanced down at her belly, placing her hand underneath where it hurt. "Can we go look at the floral dresses?" She asked, smiling and battling her eyelashes while cradling her belly.

Nicholas Lee had almost forgotten that Levi had....taken an interest in him. The exorcist didn't mind it in the slightest least as long as he didn't try anything the male wouldn't consent to. Though, he was rather glad that he wasn't left as leftovers to be picked from the group. To add onto that, the man he was paired up with seemed rather rich. Nicholas merely assumed that business bloomed for him whatever he was doing.

He was about to make his way to the old woman who was handling the clothes store when his hand was grabbed by the male who had accompanied him. If it was anyone else, the grey-haired male would've pulled away before curses fell out of his mouth but he realised it might be easier for them to avoid getting lost. Not to mention, to satisfy the black-haired male who was ultimately acting like his bank for the day.

As they stop and looked through the various orbs for magical abilities, Nicholas couldn't help but be entranced by the beauty each magical medium held. Orbs of many different shapes and sizes were displayed among them alongside the magical skills they oozed out to attract a buyer to make a purchase. However, one with a shining star glistening in the middle of an orb seem to have gotten his attention piqued.

"This one." The male voiced out as he pointed at the said orb that he was taken by and he watched the merchant wrap it up for him before Levi moved on with the payment details. It seemed rather out of place as Nicholas became taken by the orb that was in his hands. Once payment was done, Nicholas assertively grab ahold of the male's hand this time, before making his way back to where they came from, determined to find the old woman he was eyeing clothes from. He also wondered whether he could purchase some cigarettes nearby.

"I don't have money to pay you back for now but I will find it soon. Until then, if you wish for me to repay my debt sooner, I will take on a request from you." He said as they approached the clothes store from before, his grip on Levi's hand firm, depicting his sincere appreciation.

Eurielle gives a laugh as she looks around. Anyone can tell she has a nervous energy to her but it could be the sugar rush she's on. "Theres many smaller booths that sell clothing, im sure we can find one fitting for you!" She says to Ashley, holding onto her hand. Though before she moves, she notices Sicarius will be left without a partner. "Will you be okay, Sicarius? You can tag along if you want." Eurielle gives a welcoming smile to the young woman.

"After all the shopping i have to... look for someone among the crowd." She says randomly, eyes wandering around the area. In the back of the priestess mind, she had a list of things to get and needed to find purysho soon. Its been so long since she had spoken to him. ' Is it because im with friends?' She wonders to herself.

The girl was strange. Really strange. And Invictis wanted out. "Yeah... I don't see how we are meant to meet but-" the man starts off but stops upon seeing the young woman glow, making him step back defensively. "Listen if you're someone out for blood i wouldnt start a fight here." He says, eyes narrow as he watches the woman carefully. Just who is this lady? He didnt remember her at all if he had picked from her before. And from the looks of it, she's some sort of mechanic; a bigger reason Invictis doesn't know her. He doesnt steal from craftsmen.

His oddly colored eyes looked to the glowing marks and notice it somewhst resembles his own. His blends into his tattoos, one resembling a skull and another a queen of some sort. It was always there but he never cared to check over other people to see if they have the same markings, though whispers about it has happened when he performed for a couple of nobles. There were people starting to glance at this weird situation and so Invictis made a small exhale as he quickly grabbed the girl and dragged her off to a less crowded area. This lady is going to get him caught!

He pushes her into behind a thin alleyway and gives her a hard look. "Who are you and how exactly do you know me?" He asked. "Or are you a delusional kid with a prince in mind?" As harsh as he sounded, he had a somewhat casual way of asking all these things. As kf he were in this situation before. Well, minus the glowing part.

Sicarius snapped out of her thoughts and found herself standing outside the expo, she looked around and spotted an alley selling books and clothing, just what she needed. As she was about to take a step towards the alley one of her teammates calls out to her offering to let her join them, thinking for a moment she nods “I think I shall, make it a girls shopping trip” she said with a slight chuckle escaping her lips as she laughed at her own words. She looked slightly sadly at the book alley before turning back to the girls with a small smile.

Sicarius quickly moved towards the two other girls and looked around, making a mental note to go back to the alley and buy out all the books she could get her hands on, being a ‘noble’ had its perks but she only hoped she would not run into her father looking for her after her escape from the important meeting.

“Blood? I am not out for that, since I wanted to know if the Roses’s concert have started.” said Adeline. This has caused Adeline to be confused, for she doesn’t have a weapon with her right now. ‘I still don’t know what is going on here, and this guy is scaring me.’ thought Adeline.
As Adeline was thinking about leaving the awkward conversation, Invictis grabbed her, and dragged her off to a less crowded area. “Wait what? Hold on!” said Adeline, who was forced to follow him. Invictis then push her into a thin alleyway, and the look he gave her scared her even more. “I should ask you that question, because I don’t know you. I am not a delusional person with a prince in mind either. That part just came to me out of nowhere.” said Adeline. ‘I should probably leave right now, since I don’t feel safe here.’ thought Adeline. She was slowly backing away from Invictis, so she can get away from him. 'Please don't chase me, please don't chase me, please don't chase me.' Adeline didn't want Invictis to chase her, for she was going to start screaming out of pure fear if he did that to her.

Sicarius soon joined her and Eurielle. The young mother didn't mind. Now it looked like a small group of friends going shopping together. As they looked around, Ashley ended up walking towards a clothing rack filled with floral dresses. Her face even perked up when she decided to take a closer look. She even looked over at the kimonos, which were most likely imported from the East. Then there were the Cardigans. Mixing and matching wasn't entirely on her agenda. But most other clothing she didn't want to bother. The reason why she stuck to dresses was because they were most comfortable and willing to accommodate the growing belly. Two dresses in particular caught her eye. Grabbing a pink dress and a navy one, she walked back to Sicarius and Eurielle. "Hey guys, which dress would look cuter?" She asked, holding them both up with a smile on her face.

She would go for the maxi ones, but those could be bad if she was going to be trying to get away from monsters that overwhelm her and the group, so she wanted to make sure she couldn't step on them either. Looking cute was one thing, but she also had to keep her safety in mind.

The priestess watched Ashley shop happily, enjoying the way her face is in wonder and excitement for what is displayed. After a few minutes, Eurielles eyes wandered off towards the sky and felt a grip of anxiety. Shes home. And her letter must've arrived. It made her wonder if her parents will want to see her again and are accepting of the role she took up. She was brought back from her thoughts by Ashley who held up two floral dresses, which looked awfully cute.

"Hmm..." Eurielle hums, looking between the two dresses then to Ashley. "I think the pink one makes you look more lively and youthful, while the blue is more mature and graceful looking." She says with some relection. "You really like floral dresses, huh?" Eurielle asks with a kind smile. "I can purchase both for you!" The priestess adds, eyes bright. She turns to Sicarius next. "You can pick out a dress you like as well! I'll trest you guys since this is where I live."

There's a moment when his face turns from questioning to supcious confusion. He squints as if he is trying to see where exactly this kid was going with her little prank. Maybe she just wasn't right In the head? Invictis didn't ponder on it long since the girl proceeds to back away from him. He rolls his eyes, his arms cross as he watches her. "That's a dead end down there." He tells her. "If you really think Im so scary, you better stay away from the researchers here. They might kill you with their boring immoral theories." He says while looking up and around, then towards the exit of the alley. "Listen, kid. I'm hungry so I'm going to leave. The rose consert isn't live yet but will be in an hour. Try not to cause any more adults trouble." He waves and leaves the alley without any further word.

Walking back out into the open, he takes a deep breath to calm himself down. What a waste of time. Invictis heads over to where he previously was to find the food area, his stomach rumbling in joy at the sight and smell of delicious food. "Finally." He says, sighing in content. Invictis wanders through the lines of food vendors for a good few minutes and finally picks a noodle shop vendor. "Hello there. A big bowl of ramen with extra pork snd vegatables, please." He says as he sits down on one of the side bar tables. "Sure thing!" The older man chimes, busily preparing a fresh order. Eating was probably one of Invictis favorite things in life- but theiving was still his number one favorite. His rust colored eyes skim across the crowd passing by, humming to himself. A little melody from his childhood.

Nicholas pointed to the Star Orb, it was the most expensive thing within the selection of the orbs that was given but, he still bought it for him anyways. Just to make him pleased. He was used to people asking him for money as his profession had rewarded him with riches that anyone would drool over. Money was his friend to his loneliness, buying things to please himself while never letting go of his sadness. He never liked what he did but he became used to it, it was his job after all but, he wished that he wasn't left alone by his parents, or if he even had them.

As Levi was deep in his thoughts, Nicholas held his hand and walked with him to the entrance of the convention where a woman who had been selling shirts and other things piqued his interest. "I don't have money to pay you back for now but I will find it soon. Until then, if you wish for me to repay my debt sooner, I will take on a request from you." The dancer was startled as they proceeded to enter the small store. "Welcome, are you two lovebirds interested in buying anything?" He was confused at the statement of the woman, they weren't that close. They were just friends, right? Levi did not think too much about their relationship but was it really love? Nonetheless, he responded with, "Of course, if we were not interested in buying anything, then why would we enter your store?" He raised an eye brow while he slightly smirked at the woman. "I see, well. Take a look over there, some shirts that would fit your size may be there." She walked towards Levi and said, "I have some toys if you'd like, maybe your little friend would enjoy them."

token_1.png Searching for a target among the city was always a hassle, like looking for a four leaf clover. But the more determined you are, the quicker you'll get your payday. His target was a woman in her mid 20's. White hair, red facial marking, and stomach bulge. You'd think such an oddity would be easy to find, but Surrac had been wondering for a good hour now. To avoid curious eyes, he drapped himself in a dark poncho. Although the hunchback his feathers formed underneath the garments were still enough to draw attention. All that mattered was his identity being held in secret. If anyone spotted him, authorities would be on him the very second his crimes were announced. A grizzly bear can only do so much to hide in the snow.

Eventually his target came into view. That had to be her. Younger woman with white hair and a facial marking. Surrac trailed behind her group for a bit before coming to the conclusion that they would be out in the open for a while. Surrac could wait for a better opportunity, but he has some debts to pay. Mostly just rent. After a bit of pondering, he devised a plan. Make his way to a roof top, and snipe her from there. Of course with a good escape route as well. A chapel bell would make a great spot. With his spot taken, and sights aimed, he waited.

Just a hair away from pulling the trigger, Surrac noticed the bulge on her. He didn't think of it at the time, but stomach bulge obviously meant she was pregnant. The contractor was trying to play off his stupidity so that there wouldn't be any morals to get in the way. Surrac couldn't do it. Taking the life of a person for money is one thing, but killing a mother and her unborn baby? That's just demonic. The plan was off. But Surrac stirred, thinking that if he didn't get the job done, someone else would. Surrac made it his moral duty to protect this woman. He wasn't sure what she could have done to warrant someone wanting her dead, but a mother deserves nothing but protection.

Surrac made his way down the chapel bell and towards the woman. She was with a group of somewhat tough looking individuals, but obviously they couldn't protect her.
