[SIZE= 16px]As the king and crown prince were beginning to reorganize themselves, the biggest internal threat reared it's head. The Sostiske rose up across multiple major cities within the empire such as Helsinki, Stockholm, Copenhagen, and other major population centers. They gathered in millions in a violent coup, or more like a revolution, against the government. The Sostiske encountered resistance from local law enforcement, who attempted to hold off the Nationalists. Despite their best attempts and the fact that they had more firearms, the numbers against them were to much and soon all major cities but the capitol fell within three days. Danish High Command ordered all available military forces to be deployed in Copenhagen, but due to the lack of transportation, exhaustion from the Great War, and the fact that most of the military shared sympathy with the Sostiske their was little military presence. Two weeks of fighting took place, but by that time the Nationalists had reached the royal palace. In fear of a take over August and Josef were rushed to private airstrip for an emergency take off. Just as they arrived with their important items packed the Sostiske stormed the palace, fighting the Danish Royal Guard. When they were boarding a rogue bullet from inside the palace shot out the window and hit August in the lower right of his back. [/SIZE]


[SIZE= 16px]He was immediately rushed in for health care service and the guards stepped on the plane as it began to take off. During the procedure the SSNF began to exit out of the palace and started to shoot the plane. However they failed and the flight took off towards Iceland, as the rest of Scandinavia and Britain were now predominantly under Sostiske control. August went into a coma because of his wound, shortly before landing in Reykjavik. As he was about to be treated and the place being refueled, Sostiske began to take over much of the Icelandic countryside. Within two days they approached Reykjavik and began taking over the small city. Josef and the still unconscious August were rushed towards the plane and were successfully able to take off. They attempted to hastily land in Nuuk, Greenland but shortly before they could the guards on board had found out that most of the settlement had fallen to the Sostiske and assumed that the colony would automatically turnover to them due to lack of settlements in the northern portions.[/SIZE]


[SIZE= 16px]As such they began to look for the nearest country who could offer a proper asylum request. Quickly the Eastern United States were the best option due to proximity and the pilots of the plane requested that they landed in Vermont and that passengers on board, which numbered approximately twenty five people, be given asylum. They also informed that the Danish Royal Family was on board. While this was happening and while their course was being directed towards Vermont, King August passed away due to his wound over the Gulf of St. Lawrence. It was at this moment that Prince Josef was named the King of Denmark, Scandinavia, Great Britain, Ireland, Iceland & Greenland, and Morocco.[/SIZE]

[SIZE= 16px]Within a month the Danish Empire was toppled and the Sostiske officially claimed victory after the death of king August, and they established the Scandinavian Socialist Nationalist Party as the sole political party within the state. Afterwards the SSNP created the Scandinavian Nationalist Empire, naming one of the original founders of the Sostiske Vilhelm Axelsson from Stockholm as the new leader of the nation. Quickly he made it apparent that the Sostiske would be different from the other Fascist orders of Europe and allow atheism to take hold. Vilhelm stated that it matters not of your belief that if god exist or not for you to be proud of yourself and your country, and that they power to create and destroy belong to those of humanity and not a deity. Vilhelm also agreed to allow the continuation of the build up of the armed forces, after he liquidated all of his former generals that posed immediate threat to him and his government. Afterwards he also promised to uphold the Treaty of Berlin with only one exception, that the Mormon missionaries be sent back to Deseret citing that, "The Scandinavian people and our citizens have spoken and that their will on this matter is final, not to mention that the religion of Mormonism could stir up old Royalist feelings who were the same people that failed the nation in the first place." While Vilhelm never denounced the religion as false and horrid, he did say that the will of his people are more important than the will of foreign priests and that the difference is substantial.[/SIZE]

[SIZE= 16px]In the meantime Vilhelm also passed the Required Service Act, which made it so that everyone seventeen to thirty eight would have to sign up for selective service within two weeks of the act being passed and within a month new seventeen year old's. If they did not comply the first instance is jailed for a week, second jailed for a month, third for six months, and the fourth and final instance would result in hard labor for three years. If they did not comply after that then it will either be life imprisonment, hard labor until death, or execution depending on circumstance. Vilhelm also requested that a Fascist summit between the three Fascist powers of Europe be held in Stockholm, the new capitol, for the three leaders to form a triple alliance of sorts.[/SIZE]

America accepts the request for Danish Royals to take asylum within it's borders.


    Meanwhile, the Neo Corps of discovery, at long last, finished their primary objective. With the settling of the remainder of Illinois, all of the Continential United States east of the Deseretians was under American control. The president spoke at a party in New York, one of the many around the country celebrating the new national holiday of Unification Day. The holiday is set for January 28th, and excerpt of the speech follows:


   "My fellow Americans. We stand today on the pillars of a great triumph. A few short years ago, we were confined to just a handful of the Old States. Now, the entire Eastern portion of the old United States of America is ours. Hopefully, with the cooperation of our good friends in the Deserets, we will make America a truly great nation in these trying times. A  beacon of freedom that splits the shadow of tyranny to the south and the East. I do not know what the future holds for this great nation, but I look forwards to leading America into the new, bright future."


The Neo-corps of Discovery was now reassigned to construction, building up the territories they settled with the help of the brave American citizens who settle the Western portions of the country. One of their main focuses is on Washington DC, which is estimated to be finished in 6 months.


    American researches have now finished their reconstruction of the F-111 Aardvark and 90 aircraft have been ordered. 


    The Department of Science has issued three research projects to their researchers. They are to, using models found in pre-outbreak military installations, make a blueprint accurate enough to be used in production for the UH-60 Blackhawk, Ah-64 Apache, and U-2 "Dragon Lady" spy plane. 


    Word now came to the USA of the revolutions in Germany, Rome, Brazil, and Denmark. Immediately, the Joint Chiefs of Staff were called by Harold into the Situation room. 


    "Greetings gentlemen, you may take your seats." At the president's word, everyone sat around a long table. "I'm sure you all know of the goings on in other nations. America is behind in the intelligence game. We should've learned of these coups before or as they happened. The menaces that are Fascism and Communism are spreading like wildfire, to combat this, we need to up our game."


    "Sir." General Noah Norris spoke up. "The obvious solution would be to reinstate the FBI and CIA, with all due respect."


    "Precisely, General, that's what I intend to do. Now, the question remains as to how they will be organized." 


     "I could oversee them as part of the US Army, sir." 


     "As could I, my Branch is already in charge of national security." General Curtis Brady of the National Guard spoke up."
     "Sir, they should be managed under the Department of the Homeland Security." It was Isaac Ward, the JSOC Chairman


     "My thoughts exactly. Anyone apposed to the creation of the Federal Buereau of Investigation and the Central Intelligence Agency as new Federal Agencies under the Dept. of Homeland Security. 


     "Sir," it was Noah "I would like to propose an amendment that the CIA get a Chief of Staff upon this committee so that they may better coordinate with the efforts of units like the EIU"


     "That is a good idea, does anyone appose the aforementioned decision with the CIA getting a man on this committee?" Harold looked around. 


     No one objected. 


     "Very well, the resolution passes." Harold had a runner go and take the orders to be executed.


     When the Dept. of Homeland Security received the orders, they were carried out immediately. Men were selected from Officer's schools, the ranks of the military, and from recruitment stations around the country as both agencies were flooded with recruits. In time, General Lucas Copeland was chosen to represent the CIA on JSOC. The first batch of agent training is est to be done within a month.

As they encounter natives, either put to work harvesting the resources of the German African territories, sent back to the Reich to be put to work in factories producing ammunition, military vehicles, and arms, or sent to the camps where they would spend the rest of their lives in. 40,000 square miles of Chad is now Reich territory and a total of 560,000 square miles of Sudan is Reich territory now.

The cities of Burma and Cambodia soon saw strong Uprising in support of the Emperor. With the majority of them believing that they had managed a successful coup, a lied told to keep them in line, they rose up shouting for them to "STOP THE COUP". It was not long before riots broke out in these cities and the rebels needed to dedicate troops to quell them. As this happened the Marshal had just received a new batch of reinforcements from Africa and immediately pushed a counter attack. During this aggressive manoeuvre the Burmese nationalist leader was captured. The Marshal continued his advance as Duke Thakrii was taken to the Square of Khmeri and before the statues of the past Emperors was executed by firing squad on national television. This sole act brought the Burmese Nationalists to collapse and while many fractured groups attempted to continue the revolution they found themselves cut off and without friends. Due to the luck in the capturing of the Emperors Cousin who incited the coup the Marshal was able to bring a swift end to this Bloody Civil war. The Democratic rebels still attempted to fight  but without the Nationalists also occupying the Empires time and resources they would soon be without strength. The Media soon spun the whole ordeal in such a way as to make the Emperor seem like a great heroic warrior and savour of the people and a national holiday was stated for the week following the end of major hostilities. With yet another victory of Monarchy over the people the Emperor made a statement to the world. "The Monarchies of Europe were weak. Khmer is not so weak and nor are her Allies in the Royal Union of Sovereign States. While Khmer and her allies are sad to hear of the loss of the European thrones we still support their claimants. Do not take this statement as one opposing the new governments of Europe. For like our Allies, the Hitlers of Germany, we hope this is a show of a new system to allow the rule of those of deserving of such power over those needing such guidance. We hope that our German allies will not think twice before asking out aid in their efforts to help shape and grow these unstable new powers. We do, however, wish it to be a message to the Democracies of America. We wish for them to see that while the people deserve respect power must not be given freely. For when that happens you get the wars we have just survived, you get the sort of Civil Strife that is consuming Brazil. When you give power freely to those who have not proven worthy of it you get nothing more then Anarchy. We Implore you. Usurp your system of governance. Find a leader who can prove their worth and follow them into this new age." He then set his focus on the elusive, unconquered land. Where only one nation held sway and flattened all that threatened its sole influence on the region. The Khmer Empires sights were now firmly set on South America.

The land was needed for the Project. Armies marched from Kenya to the horn of Africa uniting the Khmer Coast and then marching from the Horn to Djibouti. large new roads were built from the Horn to Kenya and to the far end of Eritrea. Word was then sent to Germany requesting they join them in creating infrastructure for the continent and asking that Germany build an 'Autobahn' from their border to the Mediterranean for the betterment of both their peoples.

Another year had went by with new resolutions, innovations, and problems. Life would continue onwards as per usual, and through these problems with little difficulty. However, the threats from the terrorists were still being thought about by the higher ups... They too would still get past these errors, and resume their lives.

The premier would be sitting down in a chair Infront of his desk, thinking about the terrorists who only continue in their attempts of persuing a cold war. He thought to himself about how they didn't want peace, but quickly ignored such negative thoughts by watching the television. A weather report had stated that it would be a clear sky tomorrow.

The Middle East:

More trucks arrived to turkey from Georgia and Armenia. They would also be guarded and sent into populated zones, ready for evacuation should whatever shit hit the metaphorical fan. Among those heading to turkey were two diplomats, meant to see what the terrorist's demands were. There would also be more regular border patrols. @Albion

Out of two diplomats, one was with a convoy that had to stop for refueling. The diplomat was drinking a energy, and eventually threw it away once done with it. A car would be seen nearing, and once it got close enough a soldier would attempt to have it stopped. After the diplomat heard the vehicle, she would begin walking to the vehicle and told the soldier it was probably fine. The diplomat would then walk up to the vehicle and speak to the people inside, from English, Russian, Finnish, and ending in Japanese. "Hello travellers, welcome to the union! Germany:

The diplomats would then reply in the same fashion that they had done before. The main diplomat having thought first, before replying to the question. "Besides a report of a singing competition somewhere further away, we didn't know that someone would be this far in." @Agent141

Expansion:
​

Expansion continued within Russia, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and khazakstan. Within Iran, more attempts at peace with the more hostile inhabitants, to the far east. These were met with further aggression but eventually, and through universal language, some form of peace was achieved. Another settlement was still extremely hostile however, and were met with tank charges and non-lethal ammunition. Everyone within the settlement was effectively taken out, and thrown within prison. Depending on crime and if they actually killed anyone, their sentencing would be between 48 hour community service while guarded, 17 years, and death. Those given the death penalty however, would instead be within forced labor under the basis of "If they are going to die anyway, might as well make it worth it.".

Other:

Sales on some food products, would begin to minimally reduce the chance of the poor becoming homeless. It overall is so minimal however, that it was only given small note before being forgotten again.

In Deseret, we stand united under freedom, while the Khmers stand divided under oppression. So, just as you ask us to get rid of our freedom to follow the whims of one man, we ask you to unite under those who you choose so that you may come into a new age of hope and change."

Missionaries and soldiers had traveled across the Pacific to spread the message of God. All across the North Island, colonists were sent and locals were brought into the Church. Auckland was set up as a local center of government to control the island. Also added to Deseret was Hawaii and the rest of Idaho.

The leaders stepped out of the limousine and walked inside the conference hall. A special room was set for them on the second floor where talks could be made. After the leaders sat in their chairs, which were around a small round table and each seat had a glass of water in front along with a pen for each. As the three men sat down, Vilhelm spoke first. "Gentlemen first off i would like to thank all of you for coming today. After our successful revolutions and with the threat of the Monarch powers, i feel as though we and the Romans might be in a vulnerable state. We are still young nations, whose population has some ties with the old governments. That is why i have called all three fascist nations of Europe today for a singular purpose, to form the Fascist Alliance of Europe. This proposed idea is a political, economic, and military alliance that seeks to benefit all three of our nations. If we all agree to this, then nearly all of Europe will be united under the great ideal of fascism. We can easily defend each other, our army sizes would reach well above a million men combined without taking into account of recent military buildups, and instead of dividing the continent in war we will unify it in peace. The ideas of Monarchy and Democracy have their hearts in the right place, but utterly fail in numerous aspects. Monarchy allows for overly corrupt individuals take hold, and Democracy gives to much power to the people. While i do believe some peoples have the right to express themselves, having to much can lead to great civil strife. So how does this proposal sound to you two? Shall we create a great fascist order headed by Romans, Germans, and Scandinavians?"

Economically we keep our own currencies and systems, but exchange and travel shall be permitted between all three nations with little limits, with a potential unified currency to be determined at a future date. Finally politically all three nations will retain sovereign rights to their territories, but during times of crisis all three nations may act as one to solve the issue be it war, civil strife, or disaster." Vilhelm then put his pen on the paper and spoke one last time. "If the remaining parties agree to these terms then the signing of the Treaty of Stockholm is binding and the Fascist Alliance of Europe shall be officially established. After it's signing we may discuss the potential Communist threat to the east."[/SIZE]

Boats set out from Lousiana, and, after several weeks, arrived in Australia, claiming 30,000 square kilometers of the pre-outbreak state of Victoria as American territory. The new settlers braved the harsh Australian wildlife and have begun to set up outposts and forts in this new land.

The Khmer Empire

The nation was apalled by what it saw in New Zealand. Deseret encroaching on the Asian Sphere of Influence. While Khmer had hoped relations with the American Democracies would grow after the cessation of violence between them it seemed to be declining at a rapid speed. Khmer would most certainly not take it lying down. As the Navy was sent to threaten this encroachment to Asian SOI they heard that the other American nation had moved in on Australia. It was clear. This was a subtle act of defiance and Khmer would respond as well it should. The Majority of the Khmeri Navy set out to dissuade further expansion to the region and prepare a counter manoeuvre. Another broadcast was made "If you continue to encroach on the Asian Sphere of Influence we will take action along with our Asian allies. This is a Warning to the Democracies of America, do not start another war so soon after we ended your last mess!" @Lordvader59 @Fishman Lord

Khmer
​

The regions and local agencies that took action against the Empire found their leadership purged. Local Broadcasts showed the execution of rebel leaders and powerful sympathisers. However, as proof that the empire was not a cruel Dictatorship, soldiers and participants where merely joined in were tried in court and the vast majority were just considered innocent and given a full pardon. The Emperor saw that he needed to show his real dedication to the people and begun a new plan. One of his Brothers Vice Marshals were given the messy job of training the Emperor to not only lead military forces but also fight like them. The Emperor intended to show his Families love of the people and their rights in person should another war occur. Obviously a great many officials would spend a great amount of time dissuading him from this and, once it was complete they would spend even more time making sure he avoided danger but his brother would respect him by giving him no less then he could handle, of that he felt certain.

The Diplomats got out and after hearing the English they responded using the same language. "We are glad to hear to speak the Diplomatic! We come to discuss a future between our nations. We know that you occupy the region of Saudi and much of the rest of the Middle east and we hope to engender good relations. We share a border now, since we have liberated the Regions of the Holy land and some of the rest of the Middle-east and hope that we can help the region to prosper, together. To give its occupants the best quality of life and show the world that even this once chaotic region can be soothed and made mighty under the correct leadership. We hail from the nation of Khmer and wish the best future relations with you and your leader."

If we train our forces for the two harshest environments they have to offer, the desert and harsh winter, then we could stand a chance against them. Not to mention the fact that they would have fortifications built along certain areas, increasing the chance of failure. If we assemble the right armies, train in similar environments, and select a Supreme Commander of Fascist Armies to lead and coordinate the effort." Vilhelm then ordered the aid in the room to take the three papers to archives and inform the People's News Station of the event. "So I should explain how this process works. Firstly each nation will select a high ranking and trusted general they have to offer as a candidate, from their a special committee will review their credentials and select a Supreme Commander of Fascist Armies. However this will be a special circumstance as this alliance was just formed, so us three will act as the nominators and committee." He looked at the two to make sure that they understood the process before continuing. "With that said I select general Iivari Junnila for the position. He was a founding member of the Sostiske, and served as a member of the Danish Armed Forces before deserting to join our cause. We have looked into his past thoroughly and no abnormalities stick out, so I believe him to be trustworthy enough for the position. And as icing on the cake, Iivari was born in northern Finland and lived there for several years before immigrating to the former Danish Empire. He has knowledge of the conditions of the environment and how to operate in that type of terrain, which is similar to Russia's."[/SIZE]

Finland & Egypt


The Roman deployment was granted to train in Finland along with Sostiske officers who knew of the environment like the back of their hand. On the opposite side the Danish Africa Corps, now renamed to the Sostiske Afrika Kar, were asked for permission to train in German Egypt. Elsewhere the Navy was continuing it's rebuilding and modernization, while the Air Force planned to switch it's primary multi-purpose fighter to the Eurofighter Typhoon FGR4 and improve certain weapon systems. The army had now finally reached it's former size and began increasing beyond that, albeit slightly going from 290k to 310k within the year.

   All was well in the jungle until the silent night was disturbed by the soft noise of a C-17 Globemaster III. This particular plane was modified to be as stealthy as possible, and also had a jamming suite installed so that any Brazillian radar stations in the plane's path had "basic mechanical malfunctions". Over the jungle, near it's edge, the bay door opened and within second dozens of parachutes dotted the night sky, dropping CIA SAD operatives down into the forest below. Several large crates dropped with them, caches of weapons and explosives ranging from M4s to C4s to AT launchers. Once they arrived on the ground, the operatives fanned out into groups of 10-20 and met up with the various pro-Democratic resistance groups that were still hiding in the countryside, especially any Starlight Guard detatchments they came across. They began communicating in encrypted, frequently changing radio frequencies and began to arm themselves from continuing American supply drops. Small things like convoy ambushes and outpost raids were beginning to occur, but no major attacks were carried out. They would go back into the countryside and the rainforests to hide in fortified, defensible positions, ready to burn and blow their sensitive information if capture seemed imminent.

The Jiyu Empire expanded further to Indonesia, they have almost all of it, they lack the ones in papua new guinea.

The diplomat was brought to one of the russian generals.

Politics:
The Prime Minister has also signed another proposal to construct more military vehicles, ships and planes.

50 transport ships will be constructed in a year, 25 will be finished in every six months.
40 Destroyers will be constructed in a year with 20 in half a year.
600 tanks in a year with 300 in half a year.
700 APC's in a year with 350 in half a year.
600 artillery in a year with 300 in half a year.
600 fighter jets in a year with 300 in half a year
200 bomber aircraft in a year. 100 in half a year
600 transport aircrafts in a year. 300 in half a year.

This was to boost the military power of the Jiyu empire considering the tensions and war among the other countries. The prime minister also said that they may be included in future wars.

A military tent for expansion, nearby:

The general was wearing a a greyish black uniform with a cap on which had the Soviet symbol upon it. The Japanese diplomat would shown to the tent where the general was, and upon entering, the general would be sitting down in a chair Infront of a table with a map. The map having words written on it, Russia being entirely colored in. She was obviously waiting for the diplomat,  and had a translator already on standby who would reply for both of them.
