Ainfried kneeled down in front of the king of Melromarc. The king's guards were standing on the borders of red carpet that leads to the throne, holding magic-infused spears. They knew the gravity of the situation, and the king's decision would determine the fate of this kingdom. "Yes, your Excellency. As your advisor, I suggest that we do it now. A month is left before the next Wave, and even worse, we don't even know if the countdown would speed up. It can happen anytime, and the government's forces wouldn't be able to hold the monsters back any more. We've spread too thin." His voice sounded as if he was begging him. Summoning the heroes was something that everyone needs if they wanted to be saved, yet the king refused to do it. He gave no reason why he needed to refuse. As per the king's orders, no matter how crucial the situation is, the Excellency's orders are absolute. This may be Ainfried's last chance to convince the king to summon the heroes.

Markon Melromarc II, the current king of Melromarc, rested his head on the back of the throne seat. He stared at the ceiling, thinking of what to do. Instead of rejecting the suggestion of his advisor straight away, he mentally weighed the losses and the profits of summoning the heroes. Not summoning them means the destruction of this kingdom. Summoning them would mean... "Ainfried. Gather the mages and open the tower. Summon the Four Heroes right away." Ainfried's face lit up with happiness and hope. He stood up and bowed to the king. "Understood, your Highness." And he exited the throne room, ordering his guards to gather the mages on the highest point of the clock tower.

-----

"Do you think this will work, Ainfried?" asked one of the mages behind him. The moon was up in the sky, high and bright. Without the heroes, every citizen in Melromarc would be living with a hidden fear inside of them. A fear that a Wave would spawn close to the kingdom. Without the heroes, they can die anytime soon. "It should. I'm certain that the last hero died at a different kingdom a few months ago." He replied, then that mage answered back, "But, last month, when we tried to summon the heroes in secret--"

"Never speak of that again."
Ainfried gave the mage a threatening look. The mage gulped, nodding and preparing his mind again for the summoning. "Let's start the ritual." The mages, including Ainfried, stood outside of the magic circle big enough for the heroes to stand on. They started to chant, and the magic circle glowed blue. A large mass of mana concentrated on the sky, and it formed an invisible link between the magic circle on the sky. The link turned visible, and the mana became translucent to them, lighting up the inside of the tower. And as the last word of the chant went out of their mouths, the magic circle exploded in light, blinding everyone inside the tower if they didn't cover their eyes.

"I-It was a success! The summoning was a success!" One of the mages exclaimed in celebration, however, it wasn't their win yet. These people has a personality of their own, and they have to convince the heroes to help them. Ainfried removed his arm from his eyes and looked at the... heroes? Unexpectedly, all four heroes were female. "O brave heroes! We have summoned you to be the savior of this world. Save the world, and receive the highest honor and glory!" Ainfried spoke. He was in no position to say that, yet it was needed to convince the heroes to help them.

Enoch stood at the edge of the tower where the summoning was happening. He wasn't looking at one of the mages but rather all of them and if the king was there he probably would of tried to question him on his sanity. He never understood why the people of this world would take others from their own world and force them into a life of fighting, a lot of that logic was spurred on by his past, he understood what it was like to be in their position he guessed. He looked at the circle while it started lighting up until he finally had to cover his eyes for a few seconds because of the blue light that shone like a second moon that was on the ground.

He finally removed his hand from his eyes when the light stopped but what he saw surprised him. There were four women who didn't look to be even over 130 lbs, this truly wasn't what he expected when he heard of four heroes that would save them from the great calamity. He focused his eyes in on the one who had a sword in her hand when he finally sighed, she looked to not even be near his own height of six foot and not nearly the same weight. He leaned back on the wall of the tower while the mages would be able to feel an almost unnoticeable glare.

"Hurry up and explain before they ask too many questions." Everyone could almost hear a low mumble that if they heard would sound like. "Stupid ass king fucked it up again." That's if they could hear it of course.

--Woe Royale Ismee-->

Woe was one of the mages present in the summoning of the Cardinal Heroes, not as a summoner, but a spectator to his family's line of work. He was silently reading on his Tome the chants that were used to summon the Cardinal Heroes, following along with the chant as if it was a learning experience. As he read the word of the chant, a bright light had erupted from the magic circle while he wasn't looking, prompting him to cover his eyes with his tome as the light exploded. As the light died down, Woe lowered his arm holding the tome and let out a smile--The Four Cardinal Heroes of legened had been summoned! He tried to peek through the crowd of mages to get a good look at who were summoned. For one, it was obvious that the Heroes were all women, wielding the Four Legendary Weapons of lore--A Sword, A Shield, A Spear, and A Bow.

Unlike summons, the Cardinal Heroes are human to the core--They act according to their own whim, and would more often than not trust themselves other than their summoner. Unless, of course, the Summoner can make them trust them.

Woe looked at Ainfried in anticipation as he delivered the first line. He had witnessed the summoning of the Heroes for the first time in his lifetime, exactly like what his Father described!

senri sazanami.
What followed the sudden, bright flash of light was a soundless space. Her antithesis. Her archnemesis. It was an event she didn’t wish to experience it even at her deathbed. But what bothered her most was undoubtedly the fact that she was not even aware of how she had arrived in such an area. Before she could ponder upon her current predicament for long, she felt herself falling, then landing on the floor with a harsh thump.

A thump? Senri thought with a frown. She was sure that she didn’t weigh nearly enough to make such harsh vibrations against whatever surface she had landed upon. Sure enough, she felt a weight in her hands. Peeling open the eyes she had unconsciously closed due to the blinding light, the petite girl’s vision was filled by a hefty...shield?

She turned it left, then right, then shook it once. No matter which angle she looked at it, it was most certainly a shield that she held in her hands. But where had it come from? What was even more curious was the fact that it didn’t even seem to weigh a dozen or so kilograms. Even the individual amps she was often required to lug around felt heavier. Yet the size and density of the shield said otherwise. Curiously, she rapped it once to check whether it was hollow. Then, she proceeded to rap it a second time, this time closing her eyes as she did so.

“It’s a nice sound,” she murmured to herself. It was a pitch and timbre that was just right.

Completely lost in her own “sound,” Senri’s attention was only pulled towards the surrounding crowd—which she also only just noticed—at the words “honor and glory.” At this, she stared at the man speaking loudly and frowned. Hmm, his voice, she didn’t like it. Though the more important thing was, what did he mean by “honor and glory?” Or rather…

“Just what is this place?”

Even when he was called upon, even when he was gathered to witness the summoning, even when the light came down that brought the heroes, and even when the heroes were stunned and confused before him. The question of why the heroes were all female didnt really resonate in his mind.

What truly rang inside Fenrir's mind.... was why?

Why him?

True, he was an adventurer and true he was an adventurer of some renown. But it was nobody's secret that Fenrir held no love nor allegiance for the kingdom. He was loyal to the guild and the people within the guild. He was loyal to his clan back north in the icy tundras. He was loyal to his family. He was loyal to those he called friends.

He was not loyal to the king, the king's family, the nobles, the summoners, or even the entire bloody country and he made sure everyone was aware of that.

Yet, here he was. Tasked with being the party member and mentor of one of the four cardinal heroes.

Why? Because yes.

Once the light died down, Fenrir removed the hand that shielded his eyes and there they were. Four pretty young girls who had absolutely no idea what was going on laid at the center of the circle.

One of the people who had been summoned with him stepped up to the plate and started berating the head summoner and the king in the same breath. Brave and foolish man.

Yet, one of the girl's final spoke and to that, Fenrir stepped up to answer, his armor clanking against the stone floor with every step, "You are in another world, little girl. You and your fellow heroes are in the mage's tower. As the summoner said, you were brought here because our world is in great danger and need your power."

The large man crossed his arms and regarded the cross-dimensional ladies with a critical eye, "This kingdom is too weak to protect itself. Though, if you ask me you girls don't look like you've experienced a day of hardship in your lives. None of you. Yet, you're the heroes."

Naomi LangMage Tower

Before she could even realize what was happening her world was engulfed in light. Blinded to her surroundings it felt as if the floor had given out beneath her. The light had diminished as quickly as it appeared and as she opened her eyes she was assaulted by an endless abyss stretching out before her. She could feel the wind rushing against her, whipping her hair and clothes into a frenzy as she let out a scream of horror. Various colors and shapes coalesced in the far distance forming what could only be described as a floor. A floor through which she came crashing through, shattering like glass all around her and once again bathing her in a blinding light. With a thud and a groan of pain she once more opened her eyes. Only this time she was not falling, no, she was firmly laying on the ground.

She went to move her hands beneath her to push herself up when she realized there was something in her right hand. Looking over she noticed a long slender pole that ended in a sharpened blade. Her wandering eyes continued their journey to see all the men standing around her, a quick bout of panic running through her causing her searching gaze to become more quickened. There was a bit of solace as she noticed the three other women around her, all of whom seemed as confused and surprised as she was. With spear in hand she slowly got to her feet, her high-heeled shoes making a distinct clacking sound upon the stone flooring. Taking a moment to smooth out her disheveled attire as some old guy was spouting nonsense in their direction. Summoning? Heroes? Saving the world?

Naomi instinctively brought her hand to her head. She didn't remember going out for drinks, she could have sworn she just took the train home after work. But she obviously wasn't sober enough for this shit. One of the other girls was the first to speak up, prompting a response from one of the few guys not dressed like some kind of wacky religious cultist. Another world? The remark about hardship caused her to shoot the man a glare. She'd like to see him spend fourteen hours running around in heels at her boss' beck and call. Regardless it was clear everyone there was insane. Summoning random people from another world to be their heroes? That was a setting straight out of anime she use to watch when she was younger. That's when it hit her. Her expression quickly shifting to realized horror and disgust. She had been kidnapped by those freaky otaku cultists that were in the news. Taking a moment to compose herself she once again glanced over her the weapon held in her hand. It had a decent weight to it, and it certainly didn't feel fake. Would kidnappers really give her an actual weapon?

With a sigh she turned her focus to the guy who seemed to be in charge. Taking a quick breath to regain her composure she spoke up. "R-right... So we were summoned to fight to save the world? What if we don't want to? I've got work tomorrow. I have to be up in five hours. I don't have time to play around with your games. So take this back and let me go home." She tossed the spear to the ground in front of the lead guy. She wouldn't speak for the others but she had no intention of going along with this nonsense. What would she say to her Boss? Yeah, sorry, I was out all night LARPing that I was a hero with a bunch of fanatics obsessed with classics so I couldn't come to work? Unfortunately her request would receive an answer even before the mage was able to speak up as the discarded polearm dematerialized before quickly reappearing in her hand. A look of surprise once again washed across her features at the sudden magic act. "What the hell?" Was all she could get out, staring between the spear in her hand and those around her. No matter how crazy otaku fanatics could be they couldn't pull off something like that. Realizing that this might be a bit more serious than she originally thought she shot another glare at the head mage, her voice much more serious and threatening. "Send me home, right now! I don't want anything to do with this."

Woe silently gasped at what heroes' confusion at the matter. He imagined that they would be more...Calmer and heroic in nature. From the looks of things, it appears that they aren't familiar with how all of this works. He was called upon by his brothers be of assistance to one of the Cardinal Heroes due to the simple fact that he wanted to become an Adventurer. It was his chance to talk to the heroes, even assist those who were still distraught! Woe stepped forth from the crowd of mages and began to address to the girl that was threatening Ainfried to send her home, not wanting to be a part of the Four Cardinal heroes.

"I'm afraid none of us can do that, O Cardinal Hero of the Spear." Woe shook his head, answering the angered girl who was, in fact, holding the spear. "There is no spell nor ritual that can send summoned heroes back from where they came from." He flipped through the tome one more time to make sure that what he's saying is the truth. He then closed the book with a clap and eyed the chosen Hero of the Spear. "We are not aware of your circumstances, nor did the Gods, but they have chosen you as a Cardinal Hero for a reason." He explained with the best of ability. "We can, however, help you adjust to our world as our saviors. In return, we citizens of a Kingdom in the verge of doom, we ask that you please help us, O Cardinal Hero of the Spear." He pleaded, hoping it'll calm her down.

She was walking towards her apartment with a white plastic bag on her right hand, inside it was a cold convenience store food that she'd microwave once she got home. Mayuuki sighed, looking down on the ground with her eyes closed. "Everyday, at the bookstore, from morning until night. This is boring." And as soon as she spoke the last word, her whole world was engulfed in white light. She tried to cover her eyes, but that wasn't the case. It seemed like the flash of light came from inside her head. At that instant, she didn't know what was happening, and or what she was doing. She was panicking, and the thoughts on her mind ran like this: Did I die from a white truck? Is this my end? The phenomenon lasted instantly. The light on her eyes finally cleared out. Her vision returned, and in front of her were a couple of men in blue robes.

---

W-what is this place? Mayuuki thought, and a mage answered her thought. Or at least, he answered the girl's question who has a shield on her arm. "You are in Melromarc, O Brave Heroes. The era at which modern tools are developed here may not match with your era on your world." As Mayuuki inspected her surroundings, she noticed that on the building they were in weren't using any modern electronic objects. No lines, and certainly no light bulbs. Their light was produced by torches that were placed on the walls. Wherever she was, she assumed that this building was some historical building or monument. Was I kidnapped, along with these girls? And beside her were three other girls holding... weapons? If those girls beside me are holding weapons, then... She looked at her right hand. She was supposed to hold her white plastic bag with her food inside, but instead it was replaced by a sword.

"I'm sorry, Hero of the Spear, but Woe and Fenrir is right." Ainfried spoke up, agreeing with the persons who just spoke earlier and ignoring the thrown spear in front of him. There is a way to remove your blessing, as we call it, if you become a cardinal hero. And that is to die, along with the other heroes. I don't know happens after the heroes die, but what we know is that we can summon another set of new heroes after that. He didn't say that out loud, though. It is incredibly hard to summon the four heroes, and it requires a large amount of mana and intense concentration to even succeed with the summoning. "You have no choice but to live in this world and fight for this world, heroes." He spoke, speaking generally to all of them. "Your destiny is to save the world from the Waves; A calamity that spawns high-level monsters. If this continues... Humanity may be wiped out from this world." Ainfried put his knees on ground, and bowed his head to the the heroes. "Please. Accept your destiny, and save us."

"Ainfried..."
One of the mages was opposed to the king's advisor, a high-ranking position in the government, kneeling down to these heroes. However, they knew they had no choice and followed what he did. Mayuuki had no choice but to believe that this wasn't a kidnapping, and what they're talking about is the real deal. The spear was thrown by the girl in front of the people in blue robes, yet it de-materialized and formed again on the girl's right hand. She looked at her sword. It was more proof to believe in those guys, since spatial manipulation doesn't exist with the current technology.

Mayuuki stood up and acted tough. If this was a chance to re-do her identity in the current world, she just took that chance. "I'll accept my destiny."

POST-01
ARION CIEL
Arion stood alongside the mages and those chosen to aid the heroes through their journey. For the most part, externally Arion seemed uninterested in it all. His arms crossed, his gaze shifted towards the ground, he almost gave the impression that he couldn't care less if the heroes were summoned or not. However, internally he was stressed—perhaps the most stressed he's been throughout his entire life. He bit the bottom of his lip in anticipation, pondering what such heroes would look like, he'd never seen one in person. Though if the stories he's heard were true, they were truly a sight to behold.

As Arion was thinking, the mages were chanting. Their magical words eventually caused the magical circle to glow blue, and heeding the mages previous warning, he covered his eyes with his right hand. Only a short moment after doing this, a sudden explosion of light occured, and Arion heard one of the mages exclaimed, "I-It was a success! The summoning was a success!"

Arion immediately uncovered his eyes, widening them to take a full view of their world's new heroes. Though, while Arion had expected to feel amazement in their appearance, instead he felt...disappointment. It was a set of four, rather unremarkable looking woman—each not particularly looking as if they were capable of heroics. However, they were summoned for a reason, and with a short sigh, Arion accepted that these were their heroes.

Those standing with Arion attempted to explain their situation, and the heroes seemed to simply be in shock. Each seemed as confused as the next, which left the man slightly worried. Though, as they all began to converse, the sword hero spoke up, accepting her destiny. However, the other heroes seemed to require more convincing.

"We...really need your help so please—save our world," Arion spoke up to the four woman. It likely wasn't enough to convince the rest of them, however it was as much as he was capable to do.

Kaede I Interacting: I Mentioned: I Located:
[div class="Lines"]
Kaede had felt her stomach drop as a bright light filled her vision, she had picked up the book out of boredom and now that the light faded she was...somewhere. She felt a foreign weight in her hand and looked down to observe an old fashion bow, which was odd in its own considering most modern archers used compact bows. That oddness was excluding the fact that she was the one holding the weapon, she had never so much as touched a bow before but now that it was in her hand it felt natural. Like this object was meant to be with her.

Kaede glanced around as the others in the room began to talk, there seemed to be three other females with weapons of their own, a group of people splattered about wearing odd clothes. An older man was wearing rich clothes and a crown, so a king then. The others began to talk about recent calamities, but what caught her attention was the way they refered to her and the other females as heroes. It sounded like a typical 'heroes come and save our world' story that Kaede had read time and time again. Now that she was in one however, she needed to be smart about this. "I will do everything I can to help!"

Kaede would help of course, but something felt off about this. She would have to do a little digging later to find out how exactly heroes have died in the past, and she would need to keep an eye on that king. If fiction and history has taught her anything it's to be wary of those with absolute power. That would be later however, for now she needed to figure out what it is she was meant to do as well as gain allies. [div class="Lines"][/div]

Naomi's eyes darted across the crowd of men, paying special attention to the guy that seemed to be in charge. Her wait for a response was short as her attention was pulled by a different man addressing her. His response caused her to take a half-step back, her expression struggling between fury and pure terror. "W-what do you mean you can't send us back!?" Her eyes darted back to the guy in charge who affirmed that there was no way for them to return to home. The fact that he, and the other mages, got to their knees to beg for their help did little to ease her mood. The sudden chorus of 'I'll do it' chirping up from beside her caused her to glance over at the girls summoned along with her. The one with the sword and the one with the bow both seemed fine with going along with this circus. Their agreement caused her to look over at the girl with the shield wondering if she too would be so willing to go along with everything. Bringing her free hand up to rub her face she let out an agitated sigh. Calming herself down she thought through things logically.

As insane as it seemed, she had to accept reality. And the reality was that she couldn't go home, presumably not until these waves were defeated. So like it or not, she'd have to fight, at least until she could find a way back. Despite their claims if they had the ability to summon them they should also be able to send them back. Passages go both ways. With that in mind she took a deep breath and dropped her hand to her side, settling a glare on the lead mage. "Fine. I'll help." It was clear as day from her tone that she was displeased with everything. But no amount of displeasure would get her back home. "But you will send us home after we beat these waves of yours." Her icy cold voice continued with this. It wasn't a threat, or a request, or even a demand. Her tone made it clear she viewed it as a guaranteed certainty, one she wouldn't tolerate them going back on. With her resigned approval she looked over at the girl with the shield. She was the last one to agree but given the circumstances she doubted the girl would refuse, wasn't like they gained anything by refusing.

senri sazanami.
To save this world was their destiny? Why couldn’t these people deal with their problems on their own? They had claimed their kingdom was too weak to protect itself, but as far as she knew, the “heroes’” presences weren’t likely to alleviate the situation in the slightest. Though she knew not the scope of the issue, the girl couldn’t see how a mere high schooler who devoted herself to music and music only could aid an ailing kingdom. That applied towards the others as well. They were people of an age without war. Contrary to the gruff man’s words, modern people did have their own share of hardships, according to Akihito’s words. However, the fact still stood that these struggles did not pertain to the physical struggles of wartime. To toss such people into the midst of a battlefield while calling it their “destiny,” just what kind of cold beings had summoned them to this plane?

“Destiny,” Senri said softly but in a blunt tone, “it might be too grand of a word to tag on what can only be considered kidnapping.” Even at the sound of their pleas and the other girls’ agreements, she couldn’t simply give her word right away. The only things that mattered to her were her music and her family back home—there was no honor or glory on the battlefield. If they expected her to live in fear of her life and give up her family just to save theirs, they were sorely mistaken.

The realization that they couldn’t be sent back home, however, was one that caused the small fire of anger in her eyes to dull and extinguish. She couldn’t tell if their words were mere lies, but there was no possibility of checking. At least, not at the moment.

Senri closed her eyes in resignment. “I don’t necessarily agree. But since we don’t have a choice, do what you will.”

Perhaps if she felt enough pain fighting these “waves,” she might wake up from this nightmare.

Ainfried smiled, letting a look of happiness spread across of his face. The mages did the same as well. Responding to the Spear's request--or statement, as one may hear it from the tone of her voice--He lifted himself to the ground after kneeling the down to the heroes earlier and wiped off the dirt on his robe and clothes. They're unlike the previous heroes... They've accepted their destiny so quickly. Ainfried served the king ever since he stepped into the throne., and this summoning was his second time. His first experience in summoning the cardinal heroes goes way back to fifteen years ago. His first experience was very unpleasant and the king had a hard time dealing with them and convincing them to help. If it wasn't for the kingdom's extreme need of power, Ainfried wouldn't have needed summon the four heroes and pull them out of their private lives, just for the sole reason of saving the humanity where the heroes aren't even part of. From the heroes' perspective, he understood why it would be hard to accept their conditions to help. "Thank you, heroes." Ainfried said, bowing down once more. "Please follow me." He and the mages turned around and walked towards the door, which would lead to the staircase that leads to the throne room. The heroes and the adventurers followed Ainfried, without speaking another word.

---

The guards were standing still on the side of the red carpet, covering the huge door that leads outside of the castle to the throne seat. All four heroes stood in front of the king, with a respectable distance separating them. The four adventurers stood behind the heroes. Once everyone has gathered in the throne room, the king of Melromarc spoke loudly. "My name is Markon Melromarc the II, the current ruler of this kingdom. Heroes and adventurers, name yourselves."

Mayuuki glanced to her left side, looking at all the other girls. Since no one was going first, she stood out and was the first to speak among the four. "My name's Mayuuki Shisou, eighteen years old." She didn't say anything else. She held on what supposed to be her sword proudly and bravely, looking confident. Okay. If I set manage to set a good impression, I might be able to be friends with them. She thought.

Enoch followed closely behind the mages and let out a small chuckle when Senri brought up them basically kidnapping it. It was a little too close to the truth to not be funny and he was sure it left the mages with a bad feeling in their stomach. He looked at Senri as he started talking over the mage's rudely, not that he cared enough about their opinion. "Relax, you're basically symbols of hope for the civilians. I'm of the opinion that we could fight the calamity ourselves if we trained harder. I only did a few years of training and I'm stronger than most of the famous knights." He didn't say anything else but let out a low chuckle when the mages glared at him and continued talking.

He was dragged along to the throne room where the heroes started introducing themselves, the first one to introduce herself was an only eighteen year old girl of short stature. Her name was very different from the ones he had heard before, and he had heard some pretty out there names. He stepped up right after her and introduced himself to the king who he had been earlier glaring at. "Enoch Citrus, 20 years old."

He gave a final glance to the king before he walked back into the line with the other adventurers so he didn't stand out too much, soon they would have too all name themselves then the choosing process of adventurer to her would happen. Enoch himself wanted to be assigned to the sword hero if he was being honest, he thought he could be her friend out of all of them, even if some sarcastic thoughts were still going around in his head.

While it couldn't be seen from underneath his helmet, Fenrir was narrowing his eyes at the wielder of the spear. It was seeming like she truly didn't understand her exactly what position she was in. She, along with all of her fellow heroes, were stuck here now. The waves were coming and it would be the end of everything if they didn't do what they were summoned to do. Including them. They may become far more powerful than any person in this world but right now there were practically lost children who have never had to fight to survive before.

At least a few of them seemed to understand what was going on and accepted it. It was...alarmingly quick but it would make for less complications down the road. Fenrir had no issues if they were slow to accept what was going on. It only made sense. But there was a way to go about it that rubbed him the wrong way.

Ahhh the king. His royal majesty. The king that Fenrir has never and will never bow to.

The big man merely glared behind the helmet's visor before people started introducing themselves. He stepped forward and announced proudly, "Fenrir Arkus." he said nothing beyond that. The rest they could figure out for themselves.

'Thank the Gods...' Woe sighed as the Spear Hero finally accepted her destiny, while of course, still stuck in a state of disbelief as she seemingly stated that she would be able to return to her old world despite the reality being that they actually can't. There wasn't anyone who could send others into another world, and if there was, then they must've been long gone by now. Following the heroes on the head mage's command, Woe headed with the adventurers towards the throne room where they were greeted to the king, Markon Melomarc III. Woe's family has been serving him as a royal mage for years now, but under circumstances he deemed as personal satisfaction, Woe decided to become an adventurer armed with the magical prowess of his family.

"I am Woe Ismee, 19 year old son of the Royale mage family." Woe formally introduced himself, kneeling and bowing before the king as a sign of respect--much like they would instruct him from time to time. He is carrying the family name after all, aside from his siblings.
