The future, it always holds great possibilities. To explore, to grow, and to learn. Many humans live together in peaceful cities, others, on their own. This is where we set our story, in the untamed wilds of what remains to be the untouched forests of North America. There lays small groups of humans working together to survive and grow to thrive against the hardships of mother nature. Many enjoy this life style, others wish to escape it to live a life of luxury and socialization. What will your path be?
This will be a group RP in the format of a futuristic survival and the classic conflict of man vs. nature. Where characters will have to beat the odds of nature in order to complete a coming of age ceremony known as "The First Chase", which involves successfully completing a hunt and slaying a beast of their choice. Completing this signals one to be fully independent and gives them the choice whether to stay or leave the group. Failing either results in culling, abandonment, or even refusing to let one leave the group.
The group or "family" uses modern technology and wears modern clothes for that time period, they live cut off from society. Their shelters often consist of highly advanced tents or small cabins. Deaths aren't common among the group, if so, it usually isn't disease and was the end result of a quarrel or an animal attack. Everyone usually cares for one another and there's rarely any rivalry, that doesn't mean there isn't any though.
There are a few rules for the RP though:
-Nothing sexual, please.
-Be kind to others and their characters.
-This will be on Discord or Chatzy, majority rules.
-This won't have a reply order, but please don't spam the channel with interaction between only two characters. It would be nice if everyone equally replies.
-Cursing kept at a minimum.
-There will be side RPs to keep you occupied if the main channel is going slow.
-Romance and shipping is allowed, only if the other agrees to it.
-Be mature, there will likely be some touchy subjects but nothing 18+.
-Have good grammar and write in 3rd person perspective.
-No one-liners, there's not a lot to work with on those.
There will be a character sheet to fill out, send it to me through PM with the password GREEN TEA. That way I know you thoroughly read through this. If you did, then you my friend deserve a cookie. If you also have any problems with sending a PM due to being a new member just let me know in the comments!

-No mythical creatures of any sorts, nekos, vampires, werewolves, etc.
-Keep them between the age range of 16-18 if possible.
-Natural hair colors and eye colors, unless dyed or wearing eye contacts.
-Your character can be any gender or sexuality you want.
-Don't make everything about your characters, let some others have the spotlight.
-Please note that if you do submit a sheet, please don't immediately ask me if they're in or not. I like to heavily review sheets and make a decision based on that. Just because you submit a sheet, doesn't mean you'll immediately get the spot. It's based on quality, not first come first serve

Spiky black hair, a little bit on the medium-length side, Soft eyebrows. A well rounded nose, slightly flushed red as well as his cheeks. Wide, bright eyes, and a sharp mouth.
Role in The Family-Hunter In Training
Weapon of Choice- A high tech bow, made of various materials including metal alloys, fiberglass, and other materials. As well as being equipped with a heat sensing and night vision scope.
Outfit-A white an teal armored jumpsuit with camouflaging modes for hunting, the armor is meant for protection against animal attacks, falls off cliffs, and weapons misfiring. The jumpsuit is sleeved and ends at the wrists, as well as having various pockets and pouches for utility supplies. It also carries a belt on it to hold things such as hunting knives, bait, food, or rope. The suit ends with a pair of matching cuffed, hiking boots made to grip onto damp ground or slick rocks.
Backstory-Alfie was born into the family from a Hunter father and a now late Caretaker mother, who unfortunately passed away during birth. He was raised by both his father and his aunt to serve as a hunter for the group. Unfortunately, Alfie does not wish to stay in the group after completion of his coming of age ceremony. He wishes to instead move and live a life in the city, which he's dreamed of all his life.
Personality-Alfie is a sweet, caring boy who's a bit of an emotional romantic in his own mind. He often likes to write poetry and stories in his journal. He has high-functioning anxiety, so he gets flustered easily and keeps himself busy with tasks to distract himself. Alfie's very welcoming to others and new ideas, and isn't afraid to see things from a different perspective.
