  In a world where most horror films happen in the same timeline, those few survivors have gone through it. Traumatized, trying to stay safe, and most likely trying to distance themselves from the atrocities they witnessed (and possibly committed). Yet, the draw of the narrative holds strong. Through various means, each is invited to the city, suburb, and county of Firstpost, a midwestern region close to one of the greater lakes. As their time their continues, old pasts are put together, relationships are made and broken, and somehow, the angels of terror that made these survivors who they are begin to resurface.
  
  Something strange is going on in Firstpost, something that wants to be found.

  The Final Girls is a cinematic story where instead of playing original characters, you will be playing a survivor (though they don't actually have to be female) from existing horror media. While this is mainly focused on horror movies, old and new, this can extend to games and even books or songs if it fits. Regarding the timeline mixing, if a character is from a franchise with varying levels of canon or from a year too far in the past, I'll be working to make sure every character gets their story told in a way that fits.
  As mentioned above, their won't be any particular roles. Choose an existing survivor (they can be well-known or not), and prepare to send them back into the gauntlet of horror.
  As a final warning, due to the nature of the source material, player characters may very well be killed. This will not be willy-nilly, obviously, but it wouldn't hurt to have a backup.
