يجري في وقت متأخر Being late to the party was never a style Zahi opted to rock. Still, it didn’t really seem to stop him from always being the near-last one to show up. He had endured quite a journey getting to this hub of life and soon to be adventures. It wasn’t too long ago that the oddly dressed figure left orbit, something that he didn’t get to experience too often. Apparently, space gave off a different impression to everyone who encountered it. For him? It was pretty stressful, what if the transportation he traveled on had been attacked? No doubt, the Tabaxi would be in a very precarious situation.
Shaking off his stress, he paused in the terminal for a minute and scanned the area around him. Had he not been broke and unsure of where he had to go, he’d liked to do some window shopping or grab a bite to eat. Lightly biting the top of his cloth scarf, Zahi was reminded of just how self conscious he felt without the garment being completely wrapped around his head. While he was capable of shaking off the feeling of space travel, he still wasn’t able to deter the thoughts of being watched. Slowly, he began to move through the terminal with slow, deliberate steps as he searched for the recruitment area he had been told about. As someone who had a certain degree of experience when it came to navigating in crowds, he was able to maneuver his way along the paths of the station until he noticed something out of the corner of his eye. Doing a quick double take, Zahi was thoroughly confused by what he saw.
While holding the locked travel bag he had brought with him in his left, lightly wrapped paw, the figure eyed the group of mismatched people before him. Now, he was blatantly aware that there were a multitude of life forms that existed in this life, but he saw some beings that he didn’t know could be physically possible. There were too many to account for all at once, but as they began to move towards the boarding area, he did identify a few who seemed quite distinct. He could only hope that they wouldn’t share the same thought about him; being conspicuous was never a good thing. The urge to pull up his scarf was making the Tabaxi nearly twitch, but he didn’t want to walk up behind the group looking like more trouble than he was worth. Gradually, the feline glared over his shoulder before proceeding forward with soft, padded steps. A multitude of thoughts met in his mind, many of them consisting of questions that he couldn’t find the answer for. Who are they? Why did I decide to commit to this assignment? Is that a tree¿ Aside from the space-tree, robots, and apparent mercenaries, there were a few non-combatants who seemed to stick out for a second or two.
Alright, just focus on the task at hand. Remember your home, remember your goals.
Zahi pondered quietly as he slowed his pace, staying a noticeable few meters away from the personnel as they collectively made their way to the location designated by the person in charge. He should probably try and meet the captain. One reason being to actually introduce himself rather then trail behind in his natural shady manner, and another being the matter of what he read in his orders. He is pretty sure that he read something regarding ordinance, and how they would have to be confiscated whilst travel was in progress. Something told the figure that what he had in his bag wouldn’t be able to slide under the radar, despite its current state of being dissembled and individually wrapped for safe keeping. Letting out a short huff of dissatisfaction, the feline sneezed quietly and shook his head as he adjusted his apparel.
“Could be worse...” Zahi muttered quietly, still gazing around as the gaggle proceeded onto the ship. After a brief speech given by a voice that he couldn’t quite see through the crowd, the party proceeded forward المضي قدما
