Sentient Tree
What, never seen a sentient, magical tree before?
The Story
It's 2327. The world, no longer a bunch of separated nations, was united into one nation, The United Earth Empire (UEE). Space travel had been invented back in 2290. The Human race began to expand to different stars and colonize planets, mainly because of Earth's pollution. Science fiction had become a reality. But the story isn't about Humanity expanding or about wars with other races or a rebellion. No, it's about something else.
An expedition, manned-ship owned by the UEE was headed from Earth to an undiscovered star to explore and research it. However, as the ship approached a small planet with one continent, covered in green and surrounded by an ocean, the ship strangely started to malfunction. It crashed into the surface of the planet killing half the crew. Escape pods were used to exit the ship, saving a handful of people, now stranded in a mysterious, unforgiving jungle full of unknown alien life with very little surviving technology.
Help will arrive, but for now you must stay alive.
