Im going to be utilizing this space mainly for editing and adding content to the universe I've created.

Please feel free to comment, question, make suggestions and add input. I'll be using this thread as a reference, and eventually an encyclopedia for some future rps that I would like to do once it's a bit more tidy.

Species
The Astryel
The Astryel were the first to awaken atop the slumbering Mountain of Tel Hai, there were Six of them. Through the eons of observing, they were first to discover and name the creatures of Tonachk. It is they who found the simple children and named them Haim. In the beginning The Astryel took the form of large beasts showing that they were the dominate rulers of this domain, but this terrified the Haim whom fled from before their sight. Seeing the potential of the Haim, they transformed themselves into another form that was familiar to them. As the Eons continued on and their knowledge grew insurmountable The Astryel acquired a third form, that of the very Elements themselves.

They are deeply magical beings unlike any other in existence unto that time, to call them Gods would be folly; for a God controls nature whereas the Astryel became the forces of nature themselves. Even so, the Eldest realm limited their power each member of the Six only gaining access to one element according to their temperament. This is the reason why they longed to make a realm for themselves, to become true Architects without restriction.

Their First form was an extension of their personalities and attributes. Bae'ha'mut The First Dragon, Ari'yah The Matron of Storm-Falcons, Sep'tii The Leviathian Empress of the waves, A'run...

Creatures

These unique creatures exist in addition to your everyday creatures on earth, as more of the Realm is discovered the bestiary will likely grow.

Hyena Bat: [Nuhl] These creatures are the size of a large lion, they run in packs usually found in the wastes, but they can also be found in the forests of Tel Hai. They have large wings attached to their forearms by an extra bone and ligament, they can run for twenty miles at speeds of 30mph but can sprint for short distances at 55 mph. They can open their wings to glide across the air but they cannot actually fly. They have serrated teeth that they use to tear flesh off of the bone, and their jaws are strong enough to snap bones like twigs. It is not recommended that The Haim engage these beasts alone, for they are never usually far away from their pack.

Elephant Turtle: [Rh’ni] These massive beasts are hatched the size of a full grown elephant from eggs the size of a large boulder, at birth they weigh nearly 10 tons. Elephant Turtles lifespan is around 500 Haim years, during that lifetime an elephant turtle will never stop growing. They are vegetarians but also thrive off of minerals that are found in the stones and crags of the Wastes. Elephant turtles have large sacs on the underside of their shell that hold hundreds of thousands of gallons of water, because of this they can sustain themselves for nearly Two Haim years in the wastes before they have to migrate back to get water. They live in complex patriarchal communities that follow a nomadic route through the Wastes. elephant turtles are not aggressive unless they are continually provoked or are in life threatening danger. The largest Elephant Turtle is known as Du’Rek the Turtle King, he along with his community have been tamed by the nomadic tribes of Tal'avi, in most cases these Haim carve their villages into the thick stone like shells of the Elephant Turtles, they are careful not to hurt the elephant turtles.

Du’rek The Turtle King however is slightly different, since his shell was so large the Tal'avi were permitted to climb up under his shell and construct what is now their greatest city named Burn. The City now covers a large portion of The elephant turtles shell, which has towering spires that house buildings as tall as some skyscrapers. The city of burn itself is roughly the size of Manhattan but as construction continues they expect it to grow eventually to the size of Los Angles, covering the entirety of the Elephant Turtles shell.

Spider Snake: [Ke’lul] Spiders-Snakes are dangerous creatures some species can grow up to 120 ft long and 13ft wide, they are the natural predators of Tel Hai. Able to silently slither at speeds exceeding 40 mph these creatures are at the top of the food chain. Many Spider snakes launch a thick net of sticky venom that they use to ensnare their prey, (the larger species can accurately shoot prey from ten yards away) the venom usually paralyzes the victim in a matter of moments but in rare species the venom causes different ailments like combustion (sets the prey on fire). Once the prey is successfully caught the spider-snake will lay as flat as it can expanding in width as it prepares to swallow its catch whole, it uses its scaled legs which are situated on its head to reel the catch in. Once swallowed the prey is stuck with hollow spines that are on the inside of the predator running along its ribs and spine, these spines inject digestive fluids into the meal quickly liquefying the internal organs, muscles, bones and fat. After the insides are a nice thin consistency, muscles located at the base of each spine flex creating suction, the spines then suck up the liquefied meal and then the spider-snake regurgitates the remains (skin and hair).

Skry: [Silth] These dragon-like serpents are the largest known flying species in the sky, they usually grow up to fifteen feet in length, but in some cases males can get as large as thirty-five feet. They thrive on a diet of fruit, but are also known to eat lithos as a snack (yes they do not eat meat) because of this many of the haim have tamed them for travel. They can fly harnessed at speeds exceeding one-hundred-forty mph and maintain this speed for almost two days before tiring. They are intelligent creatures and because of this many Haim keep some of the smaller species as pets and companions. They are very loyal, in fact a skry will choose only one mate in a lifetime (which is about 300 Haim years), though they are not usually aggressive wild skry are extremely territorial and will attack anything that it sees as a threat.

Silvarian Snake: [Hai’lul] are also known as venom eaters. These snakes, through generations of heavy exposure to silverwood have mutated on a genetic level. They can grow up to 5ft in length, and live for 300 Haim years. They are called venom eaters because of their diet which consists of venomous toads, snakes, spiders, skuds, leeches, fish, reptiles, and because they have hollow syringe-like teeth that herbalists use extract deadly venom from venomous bites. The venom from these snakes will not only numb the bitten area but also clean any open wound (much like hydrogen peroxide). These snakes are very reclusive, but because of their medicinal attributes, they are collected and treasured by all herbalists.

Fire Breather: [Mek’ta] these flora have two separate glands that when combined react as a liquid napalm, most of this species of plant grows within the confines of Dark pine but some wild encounters have been reported elsewhere. These flora are carnivores, and they prey on small animals mostly, but in some rare cases when the species grew large enough Haim fatalities have been reported.

Silverwood: [Ehrod] A metallic-like Flora that draws in PE from the world around, or from a life source. Therefore what ever touches it will surrender it's life force and with continuous exposure dies. It grows as a mature tree in about a month, drawing in PE from dusk to dusk, as it consumes PE, the tree will begin to glow to a luminescent brilliance. During the new moon as the last rays of light leave the sky the tree blossoms for a period of about a half hour, while it is in this stage, it releases its seed which take the form of silvery helicopter like pods that are spread to the seven winds. After the twilight has passed the process begins again from the start, and the cycle of life repeats.

Firefox: [Tel’icah] these little nimble creatures have four life cycles, they are ever curious and have a thick fireproof coat. They have special rough whiskers mixed in with the fur on their tail, they cause friction and cause sparks which ignites the flammable oil that they secrete

Here we go. Open spoiler at your own risk. You will be greeted to a giant wall'o'text

-TIMELINE-

Long before the realm of earth in fact long before any other realm the first dawn arose on the surface of Tonachk (ton-ock), with the first dawn were the Astryel(as-tree-el). From the start they were intelligent and mystical creatures far beyond the capacity of any other living being at that time. They were the first to discover the dirty child, and so the Astryel named them Haim(highm) meaning "people".

For many ages the Haim served the Astryel revering them as both Lords and Gods. As the ages of great peace went on the Astryel increased in wisdom and power, soon they longed to create a realm made in their own image. So they departed from the surface of Tonachk and their first mountain of Tel Hai.

Venturing almost endlessly into the starless sky they ripped a hole in between mass and time, knowing that if they did not venture far enough that the wave of energy would destroy their beloved planet. Luckily they did venture far enough, and so in the heavens above Tonachk was born the second star.

The deep magic that they used to pierce through reality had a chain reaction, and soon other realms were born from the event. This is the creation of all realms, at the very dawn of time. As each realm was born a star was created in the heavens, so unlike our realm in the eldest realm stars are windows and doors into each realm (universe).

-THE FIRST PLANET-

Tonachk is a planet that revolves around an ageless white star, it has one moon like Earth but is nearly five times the size of Earth. Before the Astryel’s wave of energy hit the planet the skies were clear, but afterward the only region that had a clear sky was Tel Hai (tell-high) because it is located at the top of a volcano roughly the size of the continent containing Russia, Europe, and Asia.

-THE GREAT SHAKING-

The Great Shaking is the event that changed the surface of Tonachk forever, it happened when the wave of magical energy that the Astryel had created to make a realm hit the surface of Tonachk actually moving the planet two feet closer towards their ageless star. This caused the atmosphere to change drastically and humidity to rise to a point that the surface of the planet became covered in a fairly dense fog.

-THE HILL OF LIFE-

Tel Hai meaning "The hill of life" is exactly that, it is a giant mountain that the first Astryel "awoke" atop of. To call it a mountain wouldn't be entirely correct because it is in fact a long dead volcano, in the shallow creator of the volcano lays the actual region of Tel Hai, including its vast southern seas. It is the only region of Tonachk that is above the dense cloud cover and has a regular weather climate. (i.e. rain, snow, etc.)

-THE BIRTH OF SILVERWOOD-

The 'birth' of silverwood happened during the great shaking, when the seed of a Tarnis(tarn-is) tree which grew at the peak of Mt. Mourn (the highest point of Tonachk) was detached from the tree because of the great earthquake, while it drifted in the atmosphere it was heavily charged by the magical wave causing it to mutate. When it finally found it's way to the ground it produced a small sprout that was silver, after only a week the tree was nearly the size of a great oak. At first no one knew why the tree grew so fast, but upon further inspection everything that touched the tree would die. The magic had made it so the tree would draw the base energy of all things into itself so the tree would produce seed at dusk monthly. The base energy of all things was later named Prana(prawn-uh) or Prana Energy meaning "vital life". When silverwood draws prana energy it will begin to glow; the more prana energy it is exposed to the faster it will charge, when it is fully charged silverwood will glow vibrantly and will have enough energy to produce a seed. At that point a silverwood tree will use all extra prana energy to grow in width and height.

-THE FALSE TRUTH-

The False Truth is the misconception that the world of Tonachk ends at the borders of Tel Hai, it is a common belief that all of the Haim shared until the Silvarian(sil-var-ee-an) War. They were not able to explore past their borders because of the vast silverwood forests that surround Tel Hai, the forests eventually got so dense that it would be impossible to venture onward without serious harm or death. If one were to sail to the edge of the sea they would find that waves splash over the edge falling into the unknown cloud cover below, they named this edge "The Fringe"

-THE REALIZATION OF PRANA-

The realization of Prana also known as Prana Energy was accredited to professor Silas Vilar of the Third Era of the Haim. He devoted his life's work to the study of Silverwood in the pursuit to harness the energy it gathered for the betterment of the Haim society. He perished at the age of sixty-seven in an experiment that required too much contact with silverwood.

However great the discovery it wasn't until nearly a hundred years later that it was fully realized when professor Lark Xalivi a student of Silas discovered that Prana Energy could be stored in Lithos(Lee-this) (six different variety of precious gemstones) which would begin the era in Haim history known as the Historic Prana Era. In this era the Haim used Lithos as a sort of battery which spawned all sorts of inventions.

It wasn't until three hundred years later that the era known as the "Prana Revolution" actually started. It was when a miner by the name of Elias Thane not a professor that discovered an abundant mineral He named Aphesis(af-a-sis) meaning "release". He called it that because when it made contact with a charged Lithos it would cause the release of Prana Energy from the stone at a rapid rate depending on the pressure that the mineral makes with the stone. The release works like that of an explosion, it billows outward taking the path of least resistance, it causes a field of prana energy in a ball around the lithos. What is astounding is that depending on how the light reacts with the stone (in other words its color) depends on what type of energy is dispersed. There are seven different type of lithos they are as follows (Ruby,Sapphire, Emerald, Amber, Diamond, and Onyx)

This discovery ushered in a renaissance of technological breakthrough that changed the face of Tel Hai, for nearly fifty years new inventions, weapons, gadgets, and armor poured into the industries. In a way Tel hai became modernized but it's style was unlike that of earth except in a few royal families. Its fashion and trends stayed closer to their roots closer to the Victorian era that that of modern day earth. (the style and architecture are comparable to neo-victorian and/or Steampunk.)

The this led to the discovery of the art of Prana Grinding, it is a process that takes place when lithos and aphesis make contact while the lithos is in contact with silverwood. What happens is the prana energy is no longer dispersed in a spherical form but will follow along the silverwood because silverwood draws in the energy. This caused inventions such as prana generators and gravitators to come about. Also because of this Silverwood sabers were introduced into society as the new elemental standard of weaponry

-THE ASCENSION-

The event known as The Ascension was the decision of the nobles to depart from the surface building satellites which essentially were an advanced network of personalized estates and floating cities powered by silverwood generators and a large amount of emerald Lithos. The way it worked out was that the further away your satellite was from the surface the more wealthy your family was, the wealthier your family was usually meant the more noble you were. So in essence the higher your floating isle was away from the surface the more noble in rank they were.

-THE RIFT BETWEEN -

The Surface Below: since the Ascension most of the cities have become homes for dominant gangs, and though you may enter a city without being a member it wouldn't be very safe. The three cities that did not follow this path were Moor(more), Kar(car), and Ilitha(ill-ith-uh), these cities at a time were overpopulated with the mass amounts of refugees that sought shelter there, but in recent years resettlement projects have built hundreds of thousands of homes and have even cultivated the starting of small settlements and towns close to but not actually in the city limits. Large neutral territories between the cities have been specified for the purpose of trade, these zones have also produced a lot of small towns. There is a strict "No Silverwood" policy in these trade zones, if a person is found to have silverwood on him (which happens frequently) they are usually overwhelmed by the territory enforcers (who are permitted to have PE sabers) and captured, then are forced into slavery in one of the many mines to help mine lithos.

The Floating Isles; There were at one time two-hundred-eighty-seven Noble Satellites suspended in air above the skies of Tel Hai though they seemed to expand almost yearly. They vary in both size and style as do the nobles that live on them. There are five great cities amongst them the first and largest is the floating Metropolis of Skrie(like cry but with an sk), the second is Celina, followed by Tarturis, Rithe, and Qil(kill). These floating cities house the vast majority of both assassins and detectives but also those who have gained the status of fame by nobles, and by law they are to be treated like one.

-THE LAWS OF SOCIETY-

Before The Ascension the surface of Tel Hai flourished, they were united and had relative peace. On occasion there were a few outbreaks of clan wars but after time Tel Hai would unite again. However, the nobles became so proud that they thought with this new power they should depart from the common lowly man and distinguish themselves to live among the heavens.

When the final isle drifted into the sky powered by the Lithos of air, they left their people abandoning them. The surface below erupted into chaos as different factions fought for control of the huge cities, the meager law enforcement that the nobles left behind were soon outnumbered and overwhelmed. Not long afterward most of the cities were taken over by organized crime operations (OCO's) and mafias. So the people joined these groups, and those who didn't either fled to the dangerous wilderness or were killed.

After the gangs took control a skewed sense of order took over most of the cities leaving only Ilitha, Kar, and Moor to be refuges of the weak and lawful. Though order was skewed it was better than the anarchy then had been right after the nobles lifted to the sky, many people died those few months and many are still mourned to this day. Realizing that the isolated cities would perish the OCOs established neutral zones and strict trade routes where trade would take place.

As all of this happened the nobles realized that they too must establish a strict code if they were to survive, for all of the noble families strove for power and were competitive. So each of the families signed a pact that they were not to commit the crime of murder and if one of them were to kill another noble in cold blood, that the murderer would be brought to a council of which the family of the person he killed would lead. They would either kill the murderer, or exile him to the world below, stripping them of their title, and possessions. If a family did not produce the murderer after it was proven that they were in fact the culprit, then that whole family would be killed by the rest of the nobles. Their possessions would be divided between the rest of the families and their names would blotted out of all history books so that the family wouldn't be remembered at all.

So because of this law, on the surface the floating isles and cities are a place of excess, of parties, balls, masquerades, and euphoria. If one were to search deeper they would find locked doors filled with back room politics, assassinations, intrigue, murder, seductions, and plot. With all of this in play, it is said that there are more assassins and detectives on any one floating isle then in an entire city on the surface. The best way to make money on the isles is to be a great detective or an even better assassin.

-ON MAGIC IN THE REALM-

Because Tel Hai existed before all of the other realms, and in the beginning of Tel hai the only magic that existed was that of the Astryel known as Astryel Magic, all other forms of magic are null and void in the realm of Tel Hai. This is because the energy that is required to use any other type of magic or ability doesn’t exist in the Eldest realm, The only form of Magic or ability, is that of natural abilities e.g. what the body can do, and Astryel Magic. What this means is that any enchantment, abilities, or powers that rely on a form of magic, or other type of energy force, such as auras, psionic energy, incantations, or other forms of energy will not be active in The Eldest Realm. The only species able to use magic are those of The Astryel Species, and the only form of magic they can use is that of Astryel Magic within the eldest realm. However since Prana is the base of all energy it will operate to normal capacity in all of the other realms.

-AN EXCERPT ON PRANA ENERGY, SILVERWOOD, AND PRANA ENERGY GRINDING-

Explanation of Prana [ Prana: "... Prana is the notion of a vital, life-sustaining force of living beings and vital energy, comparable to the Chinese notion of Qi..." It dwells within all forms of life, and within raw energy (Solar, Thermal, Kinetic, Electric, Electromagnetic, etc.) . Though it exists in all forms of energy Prana energy cannot be manipulated, absorbed, or altered through the means of an ability or magic except by the Astryel. Prana is most concentrated in life forms, the more complex the life form, the larger a source of Prana energy. (Layman's terms: little creatures like a rabbit for instance have less Prana energy, while more complex creatures like an Astryel will have a lot of PE. It is also the base of all energy what I mean by this is that the energies in other realms are derived from this but have been mutated into a different form of energy. ]

Explanation of Silverwood: [Silverwood: A metallic-like Flora that draws in PE from the world around, (Layman's Terms: it sucks the life-energy out of everything it comes into contact with; whether it be raw PE Solar, Thermal, Kinetic, Electric, Electromagnetic, etc.), or from a life source. Therefore whatever touches it will surrender it's life force and with continuous exposure die; don't worry though for a normal human it would take about thirty seconds to become comatose and 360 seconds to be killed.) it grows as a tree, drawing in PE from dusk to dusk, as it consumes PE the entirety of the tree will begin to glow to a luminescent brilliance As the last rays of light leave the sky the tree blossoms for a period of about a half hour (depending on how long the twilight lasts) while it is in this stage, it releases its seed which take the form of silvery helicopter like pods that are spread to the seven winds. After the twilight has passed the process begins again from the start, and the cycle of life repeats.]]

Explanation of Lithos [[ Lithos: Lithos' are precious stones that like a battery can store a PE charge. They come in different hues, and depending upon the light that the Lithos reflect (which also determines its color) will decide how the PE charge is released. By themselves they release PE very slowly, and in this way are able to be used as a type of power cell. They come in six different colors but a number of different hues of each color, size, and purity all of which determine the strength of the Prana energy when it is released, how fast it releases, and how much PE it can store. Lithos become charged when they make contact with charged {glowing} silverwood, The PE charge will be transferred into the Lithos' causing it to illuminate, this charge will slowly dissipate. (anywhere from an hour to a month) The Different types of Lithos' by color are Ruby, Sapphire,, Emerald, Amber, Onyx, Diamond. By rarity the different types of Lithos' are Sapphire, Amber, Ruby, Emerald, Onyx, Diamond. High Grade Lithos Can actually be tuned changing form and direction and to a point the way that the prana is released from it.]]

Explanation of Aphesis [[Aphesis: Aphesis {meaning 'Release'} is a mineral native to the realm of Tel Hai. When this mineral makes contact with a charged Lithos, it releases the PE stored within the stone. As the color of the stone varies, so does the element that the prana chooses to be made manifest. The amount of pressure that the Aphesis mineral makes with the Lithos is equal to the amount of PE that is released. {Layman's terms: the harder the Aphesis Mineral touches the charged stone the more PE will be released.} Now although the Aphesis and Lithos alone add another level of usefulness to PE, they are in themselves like an explosion of energy impossible to control, direct or manipulate. Like an explosion of normal energy the PE is rapidly dispersed and it just makes a short term spherical manifestation of the element (like a normal explosion). The list of different element to Lithos scale are as follows: Ruby/Fire, Sapphire/Water, Emerald/Air, ,Amber/Earth, Onyx/Dark-prana, Diamond/Light-barrier (reflective)]]

Prana Energy Grinding (PE Grinding or P.E.G.): The art or craftsmanship of using Prana energy in a controllable state. Now first we must realize that Silverwood draws PE (Prana Energy) in, but since it can only absorb so much energy at one time it will channel any remaining PE along its mass, because of this when used in conjunction with (physical contact) Aphesis and Lithos. Silverwood becomes like a copper wire or electronic circuit. It will cause PE to follow a certain path, this is by means of released PE and thus one of the elements listed. This revolutionized Tel Hai and in the earliest days of discovery turned into what would be later realized as 'The Prana Revolution', which in many ways modernized Tel Hai using this new form of energy. Such byproducts are Silverwood Generators, PE Sabers, FI Netting, Light Armor, H-Harnesses, skyships, Telecompters, and Psymilators.

All products use general method as follows; Silverwood draws in PE, PE is then transferred to Lithos, when the user deems it necessary or when Lithos is fully charged a mechanism or trigger causes the Aphesis to make contact with the Lithos causing the PE to release in whatever manifested way, the manifested energy then travels along and through the silverwood causing a burst, or field of elemental energy. -More than one stone can be equipped to a device, however the energy is manifested through which ever the Aphesis mineral touches, PE can be transferred from smaller Lithos in to the Main Lithos through means of silverwood, these would act much like backup batteries so the release of PE can be sustained longer.

-INTO THE WILD-

Eastern Forge: Green rolling hills and tall grass fields as far as they eye can see on every horizon.
The eastern forge is vast, it is full of small villages and dotted with agricultural towns,
much of the food in all of Tel Hai is grown in this region which is comparable to the size of the entirety of Central America.

Black Pine: This massive forest is a dark and foreboding place filled with many dangers.
it separates the wastes from the rest of Tel Hai, because of this it is rumored to hide a hidden city,
that is supposed to be a collection of all the outcasts of society. It borders the city of Marya,
and though the city is in close proximity those that live in Marya never venture very far in the woods for fear of being killed.

Dark Water Lake: Dark water is the largest body of freshwater in Tel Hai,
bordering the Spire Mountain Range, Eastern Forge, Black Pine, and Great Marsh it is a interesting place to visit.
Under the surface of is a world of fresh water fish, but it also houses larger more dangerous creatures under its surface.

The Wastes: A region the size Egypt that is mostly desert, not many creatures are capable of living in this harsh environment.
The most common creatures are Elephant Turtles, Hyena bats, and Great Spider Snakes.
There is a tribe of nomads who have tamed elephant turtles, and carved their villages into the huge spikes on top of the turtle's shell,
they provide protection for the turtle from small animals while the turtle provides them shelter from the large beasts of the wastes.
This is where the Turtle King resides, atop his back is the nomadic metropolis city of Burn.

Spire Mountain Range: The mountains are home to many different creatures including the Skry,
they tower above Tel hai and can be seen from as far away as Soren City.
They house thousands of caves full of Lithos that are mined almost constantly by the order of both criminal organizations and by the nobles.

Great Marsh: Great Marsh is a region of lakes and marshlands about the size of the orange state,
it is located in central Tel Hai South of Dark Water Lake and east of Illium.
This region is dotted with small fishing communities and hunting camps,
it is very common for a deep bog it cover this region making it ideal for those who don't want to be found.

Tale Wood: The woods of Tale are a large forest located north of Arthos, unlike dark pine the woods are hardly dangerous,
over all it is a peaceful wood. It does border the silver forest however and because silverwood trees are so aggressive in their growth,
there is a large wall erected between them that is closely guarded in an attempt to protect the forest

The Silver Forest: The silver forest is located at the furthest north-western region of Tel Hai,
though this forest was at one point mostly normal trees it has become overgrown with silverwood trees.
For a long time the Haim government thought they could control the growth of the forest, so they started to erect an eighty foot wall in some areas.
After royal scientists equated that they wouldn't be able to control the growth of the trees,
the project was abandoned leaving the wall erected in some areas.
To help control the growth the royal family has offered incentives to expert lumberjacks known as Silverjacks,
they enter the forest wearing special protective gear and cut down and up root any silver saplings they come across.

Mt. Mourn: This dark mountain spires over the land of Tel Hai, it is nearly twice the height of mount Everest and three times the circumference.
Thousands of small caves and grottoes that dot the mountain and are filled with hives of Skry.
Many strange things happen on this mountain and some say it is the only truly magical thing left in Tel Hai.

-THE GREAT ISLES-

Ohm: the isle of Ohm is located just off of the southern peninsula of tel hai that stretches into the syren sea,
it is a small island, enough that it could not support a major city. Yet it is large enough to hold a few small fishing villages.
Because it is located between both the syren and kalar sea a region known to have very active weather it is not somewhere a large city would thrive,
most of the villages are used as docks and ports for the deep sea fishermen of kalar.

Sil: Sil is the easternmost known mass of land in all of Tel Hai, it sits on the cliffs that are between the almos sea bordering part of the fringe.
It is owned and closely patrolled by the Royal Guard, it is said that the Royal family has a private estate there.
Not many Haim who venture there without permission ever return, it is said that the isle itself may be haunted.

Kol: before the ascension the isle of Kol housed the royal city of Moor, it is a beautiful island located just south of Mal,
east of the Almos Sea. It is the second largest island, on its interior there are many caves filled with lithos.

Mal: The isle of Mal is the largest island in all of Tel Hai, its jungles are filled with wild creatures.
The south portion of the island is cultivated and used for farmland,
with thousands of greenhouses and crops it produces enough food for the cities of Kar and Moor.
Just before the Ascension a great wall was built around most of the island,
this was is one of the reasons why the island of Mal was one of the last refuges in all of Tel Hai.

-THE THREE SEAS And Beyond-

Kalar Sea: The Sea of Kalar is the largest, deepest, and most active sea when it comes to storms.
It stretches from the Silverwood forest all the way to the Isle called Ohm.
Under its waters are the homes of the largest and most feared sea creatures including the Kalidar,
which is a Giant Spidersnake said to be able to swallow vessels whole.
Kalar sea is home to the most variety of deep sea fish, and because of this even though it is dangerous many vessels choose to fish here.

Syren Sea: the sea of Syren is comparable to the indian ocean,
its warm waters house many grand reefs that provide shelter for billions of small marine life.
Though the center of the ocean is can its border that meets kalar is known for almost constant bad weather.

Almos Sea: the sea of almos is the most eastern sea in tel hai, its waters are calm and warm often shallow it hides many small islands.
Because of the warm waters there are an abundance of tropical fish in this region, though few are poisonous nearly all are bright and colorful.
There is an abundance of underwater caves in this region and most of them are filled with lithos.
The beaches of almos are one of the most popular and scenic places in all of tel hai,
in some areas thousands of lithos will wash ashore giving the beaches dazzling appearances.

The Fringe: To the Haim the fringe seems like the edge of the world, it is the thin crest of land that holds in the vast seas of Tel Hai.
In actuality the fringe is rim of the crater that tel hai is located in,
this rim only ascends about thirteen feet above sea level,
because of this waves often crash over the rim splashing water to the cloudy abyss below.

-THE CORRUPTED CITIES-

Arthros: Arthros is located on the western shore of the white bay,
it is the second largest city in all of Tel Hai but is third when it comes to actual population rivaling its brother city aerkos.
Before the ascension the white towers of Arthros were renowned, but during the riots that followed the event they were burned and turned black,
they are now known as the obsidian towers which are used now as a headquarters for one of the most nefarious organized crime operations "Black Fox".
Though it has dulled down, all Athrosians are rivals of the Aerkosians of Aerkos which is on the eastern shore of the white bay.
They are almost constantly sending and defending from raiding parties as each of the two cities continues the fight for the control of white bay.

Aerkos: Aerkos is the second largest city in Tel Hai when it comes to population.
Because of it's location near the Pholl hills it has exclusive access to many caves that are used to harvest lithos.
This resource has made it a valuable asset, this asset drew one of the largest criminal organization to it known as the "White Fang".
Aerkosians are always trying to gain control over white bay, because of this they are constantly involved with small skirmishes with Arthros.

Ilium: Ilium is located on a thin strip of dry land between Great Marsh and the River country of Tide,
it is a medium sized city but has one of the largest smuggling rings in all of Tel Hai.
They mostly smuggle Lithos from the mountains, but they will fence almost any stolen goods.
The Organization has no official name, but commonly it is known as The Ring.
Though not many normal people come here because of the hard journey either across Great marsh or
the long trek through the forests of River Country Ilium has a large hold on trade.
This makes it the home of many thieves and other ruffians that are trying to disappear.

Soren City: The City of Soren is the largest on the surface and nearly three times of Skrie,
it is a massive metropolis that has a culture of its own. It has no comparison when it comes to the sheer size of this city,
it is easily double the size of Arthros and a much larger population. The Entire city fits on the Skoul Peninsula which borders both the Syren and Almos Seas.
It is divided into three Districts, CrowHaven, The Spines, and UnderBridge.
These districts house most of the population of Tel Hai seven billion people in this city alone.
Just because of the size of the city it is almost impossible for any organization to control,
each district has its own organization that has a heavy influence.
The Night of Crow Haven, Silence of The Spines, and the most feared Blades of UnderBridge,
they are the largest organized criminal operations in Tel Hai and they Have a hand in almost everything on the surface.

Marya: Marya is the smallest city of note in Tel Hai, it is just south of Dark Pine.
This walled city is the home of The White Mist, a small ring of thieves and renegades that are often up for hire.
The most lucrative enterprise in Marya is scavenging the beaches of Almos and gathering the lithos that wash up on the shore,
on any one day nearly a thousand lithos are collected by a single scavenger,
who then sells them to a Pawners Market or makes them into small weapons or jewelry.
The resource of lithos is replenished at every high tide when millions more lithos wash up on the shore.

-THE LAST REFUGES-

Ilitha: The city of Ilitha is the fourth largest city in Tel Hai, though it's population rivals that of Arthros.
It lays on the northwestern edge of the region known as the Eastern Forge.
It is on the shore of a large river that branches out of the Spire Mountains.
It is ruled by a governing council of officers, which is called the Guild.
They regulate economic shifts, as well as trade and protection from the other cities.
They are focused on the cultivation of new towns for the refugees in the eastern forge.

Kar: The City of Kar was once ruled by a Thaddeus Tol Kaster, who before the ascension was a high ranking officer in the Royal Army,
and a master inventor. He died in a fire that burned his entire estate down .
This event left Thaddeus' son Adamis an orphan.
In modern times Kar is ruled by A council of Elders that were advisers to Thaddeus,
it relies on the prana powered inventions to keep the Island city safe.
A large wall was built by Thaddeus around the island of Mal right before the Ascension,
it is regularly patrolled by armed guard, there is only one known entrance onto the isle which is through the Gate called Dragon's Mouth.
To get into the city of Kar you have to be approved and go through a complex system of background checks,
if you fail the background checks you will not be permitted into the city.

Moor: The City of moor is located on the Isle of Kol, it was once the capital city of Tel Hai.
After the Ascension General Kale Vilar made a pact with Thaddeus Kaster that they would stay behind and protect the people,
offering a shelter for the chaos that was sure to follow the event.
Kale became the leader of Moor and protected the island's most valued asset which were the caves of Kure,
they were filled with precious and rare lithos and if they were not protected then the resource would be bled dry and the caves would be barren.
Kale trained an elite Militia which eventually turned into the Rune Knights,
they now provide protection for both islands as well as Ilitha in the north.
The city of Moor has high walls and is on high ground, it is a nearly impenetrable fortress with many layers.

-THE FLOATING SATELLITES-

Adrift the atmosphere of Tel Hai are Prana powered islands,
they are kept suspended by a complex network of Silverwood, Emerald Lithos, and Aphesis.
There are currently two-hundred-eighty-seven floating Isles,
they vary in size going from being able to hold a small estate to large cities.

-THE ROYAL GROUNDS-

Though it is the size of a small city the royal grounds are considered to be one castle,
it is illegal to venture here without an invitation or having official business with the royal court.
Both the King and Queen of Tel Hai reside amongst these halls, but they are not the only ones here all of the royal family stays here as well,
each of them have private quarters that can detach from the main castle in case of an emergency or threat.
The castle also houses an army of royal cooks, butlers, maids, servants, and even a few dukes and duchesses that have earned a high rank.
In a time of threat the castle separates into eighty separate small islands that are each protected by a squadron of armed knights,
each island is also equipped with cannons and a helm so that they may steer the island for a quick escape.

Though the king and queen are just rulers, the rest of the royal family is far from righteous.
Behind the locked doors of the castle lay many that scheme and plot to keep their power and wealth,
most of the royal family is perfect in the public eye, but in private some could even be called cruel.

-THE FLYING CITIES-

Skrie: Skrie is the largest of all of the floating isles it measures nearly 750 miles in diameter, and holds nearly 50 million nobles.
It is the jewel and testament of the power of prana energy.
This floating metropolis is almost another world, it truly has everything including an intense nightlife.

Celina: Celina is the second largest floating city, it houses a large forest at its center,
in this forest are nearly every variety of plant that grows on the surface.
There are many layers to Celina, and with each layer of the city a slightly different culture is found.
There are many private estates built within the walls of Celina, and a large population of high class nobles are found within.
It is rumored that somewhere amongst the massive forest of Celina is the meeting place of a seclusive group of assassins and corrupt noblemen,
but anyone who stumbles across it has never returned alive.

Tarturis: This city is the epicenter of all trading amongst the floating Isles,
it has countless shops, studios, workshops, guilds, and stalls.
The most prominent buildings however are the Hotels,
and Suites which are filled with lavish rooms to make those who are spending feel at welcome.. for a price of course.

Rithe: This floating island is home to the Alvis Academy, which is the largest training association in all of Tel Hai.
Everyone on the isles has spent at least some time here,
one of the most valued buildings being the ark which is the largest collection of manuscripts and books known to the Haim.
This Grand library is the jewel of Rithe, it sits adorned in an ivory tower at its epicenter.

Qil: Qil is the smallest satellite considered a city, it is a town of a few thousand people.
It is located at the lowest altitude of any of the Floating Isles,
it is mainly used for trade and a final stop between the floating isles and the surface.
It has an extensive collection of Skry breeders,
they act as a taxi service to the surface below and will quickly get you to any major city that you need to go to

He gets set up to stay with colonel Garwin Hayes, in a prana shop in the red district. A few weeks after arriving in the city the local gang starts trouble and preying on the weak of the red district, Adamis Intervenes. This causes backlash from the gang on in a form of a tax on Colonel’s shop. Adamis objects but the colonel agrees, the gang continues to cause trouble. Adamis goes to the leader of the gang try to to make a deal, meets Donovan Lucas and things escalate into a fight with Eris. Lucas is impressed with the Pranatek that Adamis has and makes deal with him to lay off the Colonel’s shop if Adamis agrees to join the gang as a designer. Adamis reluctantly agrees, and starts as a grunt in the gang. Soon friction starts with a rival gang in the district, which leads to a battle with them. The rival gang is defeated and the victory is attributed to Adamis’ new Pranatek. While the battle goes on the gangs warehouse is sacked and a large shipment of weapons and new prototype armor is stolen. Donovan expects a mole in the gang, he assigns Eris to try to weed out the mole. While Eris is away on a mission Adamis overhears a meeting between Niles and a courier following him to find out that it was him who orchestrated the raid. He uncovers evidence that Niles is trying to shift blame onto Corvis. Eris Comes back and seems to be fooled by the planted evidence. Eris Tells Donovan About what she uncovered and Her and Donovan Make Plans to Deal With Corvis. While this is happening Adamis goes with Colette to pay tribute to the Astryel, he returns just in time to give the evidence of Niles. This starts a rift between Eris and Donovan and Corvis. The gang war escalates when the stolen Pranatek is used to obliterate of the Gang's hideouts. Adamis is commissioned to Make better Pranatek to counteract what was stolen. Corvis Starts to plan his Couix. Donovan is able to draw out their main Pranatek designer by kidnapping their granddaughter. Eris has a huge problem with this due to Her history with her brothers death, also with the Fact the Donovan promised to never use that tactic. The kidnapping goes wrong and the granddaughter and the Pranatek Designer Die in the battle. Eris blames Donovan, in the aftermath the Tempest gang continues to lose headway. He encourages her to confront Donovan, and when she does Donovan reveals his plans for the future of the gang and how he thinks with the new pranatek he can control the whole city. Corvis takes this opportunity to stage a his Couix, in the midst of the battle Donovan is almost overpowered by Corvis but Eris Steps in to try and save him. But when she does it he uses her to gain an upperhand against corvis, threatening her. She then plunges her prana saber through her into Donovan, killing them both. Corvis is distraught, and confesses his love to Eris but she has already passed. In his misguided rage he places blame on Adamis, stating that if he had never come along that none of this would of happened. He puts a hit out on adamis, but he wants him alive wanting to do it himself. By this time Adamis has made the eye of Illumina and already installed it into him. He narrowly makes his escape and with the help of the people he has helped in the Red District The colonel and Colette make his way to the docks where he escapes the city.

Arrival
Against the warmth of the setting sun a small ship ebbs with the tide, being pulled into the harbor of a massive city. Its gate towering high into the sky welcoming those who would cross it into an atmosphere unlike anything else on Tonachk. The docks are a busy place all times of the day, gargantuan docks house mammoth trade and fishing vessels that stretch out of the port like long fingers scratching at the tides of the bay. A small yacht pulls to the dock and one of the many harborers are paid his due as two figures make birth onto the creaking salty timbers. Tiberius and Adamis make their way into the city silently, both wearing wanderers cloaks.

Adamis:”I thought the Colonel was supposed to meet us at the Dock?”

Tiberius: “No.”

They continue to walk through the crowded highway silently, as they make their way down the street the Air-Rail Tram wooshes overhead.

Flashback
Adamis begins to have a flashback of his early life with his father in his workshop.

Thaddeus: “Silverwood is said to be the legacy of the old Gods. The gift that they left behind when they left this place.”

He says to a young adamis on his lap. Both are seated at a workbench with small branch of silverwood. Adamis reaches out for the silverwood and it just slightly brushes his forefinger, he draws back as if he got zapped by a static discharge.

Thaddeus: “Ah ah, never touch it with your bare hands.” He kindly corrects before picking it up with a pail of curved pliers.

Thaddeus: “You see this wood is always hungry, and it draws in the Prana from everything around it so it can grow large and thrive. Kind of like you haha.”

Adamis has a questioning look

Thaddeus: “You remember what Prana is don’t you?” he says in a tone as if it were a spelling word on a test.

Adamis “Uh” Adamis pauses briefly. They then say it together,

“It is the base energy of all things, whether it be raw energy like sunlight or the energy that is found in all life.”

Thaddeus: “Very Good, today my son I am going to show you how to harness this energy and use it for the good of all.”
“It’s simple really,” he says picking up a small emerald and another stone that looks like black Opal (Aphesis)

He touches the Emerald to the already glowing silverwood and the emerald begins to glow and the silverwood begins to lose its glow. After placing the silverwood aside he motions for Adamis to get up and then he crouches down to eye level and gives the charged emerald and Aphesis to Adamis.

Thaddeus: “Go on now, see what happens when you touch the lithos with this rock.”

Adamis hesitates for a moment before touching the aphesis to the emerald releasing a gust of air (woosh) and amazement all over Adamis’ face.

Thaddeus Laughs and motions for Adamis to come over to the workbench, Adamis hands the lithos and the aphesis back to his father.

Thaddeus “Now see what happens when you touch the lithos to the Silverwood and then touch the aphesis to the Lithos”

Adamis did as his father instructed and watched as a field of air was drawn from the stone, it stretched along the length of the Silverwood stabilizing until it was a distorted field of air that was visible around the silverwood. It condensed into a field as if it were almost solid causing the Silverwood to float off the workbench.

Thaddeus “This is the Art of Grinding, at it’s base all pranatek uses this method. It is what we learn to build and control, this flow of energy is what all of us that invent learn to harness. It is what you will learn to harness as well.”

Tiberius ” Were Here.”

His words cut through the nostalgia like a knife and Adamis is jolted back to the present moment. What lay before them was a small bar/inn outside hung an ornate wooden sign with inlay that wrote out the establishment's Name “The Sleeping Dragon”

The Great Divided War

Years after the ascension a plot was revealed to destroy the surface of Tel Hai. Dantien Adonis Moore Crowned Prince of the Royal Family of Tel Hai realized that the Nobles would eventually outgrow their satellites and that would increase hostilities among them until a Noble War would break out. Through his position as leader of the Syndicate known among the Royals as ‘The Circle’ He learned of a new prana-tech being developed by the young prodigy Adamis. This invention would allow a bolt of pure prana energy to be shot from a mechanism at long ranges that would be accurate and destructive without wasting the lithos like the traditional methods of glass cannonball or arrows, bolts, and spears. On the night of the unveiling of this technology which happened to be the Boy's parents anniversary, Dantien exacted a heist of the new and glorious weapon. This would also be the final test for the syndicate's newest associate, and would-be heir; Dantien’s younger brother and protege Dontesse Aries Moore. Dantien Had been training Dontesse since he was ten, grooming him to become his personal, effective and ruthless assassin. Also a new leader of the circle if ever he had too much to do for such things. That night however did not go as planned, instead of the weapon later named ‘judgement’ being locked in a safe like it was supposed to be, Dontesse found it in the workshop of the Young Adamis who was putting the finishing touches on his Father’s Present.

Dontesse’s Orders were simple grab the item and kill anything or anyone who got in the way, all quiet like. When the moment arose, Dontesse had a change of heart sparing the boy from his blade. His choice was in direct defiance of orders and was not unnoticed, when Dontesse knocked Adamis out Dantien seemed to appear from the shadows never trusting anyone to get the job done fully but himself. The rules of the game had changed, now this was going to be a problem for Dantien as he couldn’t have a minion that didn’t follow orders so because he was his younger brother and put all that work into him he gave Dontesse an ultimatum, kill the boy or die like a dog.
A skilled brawl ensued in the backdrop of Adamis’ Father’s eloquent speech. In the fight Dantien set the mansion of fire, after a few minutes it was clear to the both of them that Dantien had only taught Dontesse enough to kill everyone else, but not to match him. Yet as they were struggling over the weapon and Dantien was about to throw Dontesse off of the back balcony into the sea Dontesse activated the weapon using it to stun his brother just long enough to get away on his brother Skyship 'The Nightwing', with the weapon of course. Dantien became full of a fierce yet focused rage. He was never one to be left without a backup plan, his chariot arose from the void driven by his next protege Mirna Ailles Moore Princess of Tel Hai age 8.

Dantien let the Mansion burn to the ground that night, The young prodigy made it out alive but not unscathed for his left eye was damaged and he was left an orphan. Dontesse disappeared from the world that night only to return years later as one of the Sky Pirate Lords ‘Ersatz Forsworn’

Upon waking from a week coma and his mansion burnt to a pile of ash, the only clue the officials had was that the fire started in his workshop and they believed it was from the boys new invention. If he was anyone else surely the people would have hung him, but because they loved his father so much, when they could not find any evidence even after years of searching. The city council made a decision to exile to boy until proven innocent.

Dantien had not given up on his dreams of a rebirth, for he had seen the weapons design and had even watched it work. so for years he obsessed, until finally his scientists had a breakthrough and plans were set into motion that it seemed no one could stop. Yet through an unlikely friendship, and the discovery of the weapon and a key testimony the crowned prince was tried and judged guilty of murdering the innocent, by the highest authority.. His Father. He was sentenced to death by ashborne (which is death by contact with a silverwood tree). He didn’t perish without a successor though, but it was not his sister for she had been driven to insanity by Dantiens harsh training. It was a man named Civil Euros Porter, the sworn enemy of an older more experienced Adamis.

A year later as tension escalates between the surface and the noble satellites, Dontesse reveals himself to Adamis, and that Civil is almost complete with his brother plan. Which was to effectively turn the royal palace into a giant prana cannon and wipe out the surface one city at a time, starting with Illitha home of the rune knights the only corporate group that could actually be called ‘good’. Battle lines are drawn, armies recruited, mercenaries paid, pirates bribed and for two long years a war wages on. On the Noble side were five of the pirate lords, almost all of the noble satellites, The royal Skyship fleet and three O.C.S’s. Fighting for the People, was Captain Marielle Juniper, Ersatz Forsworn (Dontesse), The Rune Knights, and The remaining surface cities. In the end the final battle was fought over Illitha with the cannon charging up, in that dark hour victory was somehow found. The result was the death of Civil, death of Mirna, capture and destruction of the Royal Palace, and elimination of the cast system of the Haim. What was left of the satellites were lowered to a near surface orbit, they became accessible to everyone. For what many hoped to be a long time there was peace in Tel Hai.

At the early age of seven Dantien took her under his wing much like he did with Dontesse, however he viewed her brilliance and sought to control it. Her training included to endure horrible things, torture, sexual abuse, being poisoned. She was taught to use any means necessary to achieve her goals. That her body was a tool for her mind to harness, and she did she excelled at every harsh trial Dantien put her through. It did however come at a price, she became obsessed with Dantien viewing his will as absolute. That she was a tool for him to realize his dreams, and that she would stop at nothing if it were to help him. After the Death of her beloved brother in the Great Divided war, she is driven to the brink of insanity. She transfers her obsession with Dantien to Adamis. Viewing Him as almost a Deity because of his role in Dantien’s Death. She has a complex relationship with Adamis as she both loves him for killing Dantien (trying to cope with the unresolved abuse dealt by him in childhood) and hates him as she also grew to love Dantien. Her emotions finally give way to intense violence at the end of the great divided war with the battle involving Civil, Adamis, Dontesse and her.
