That was the last of his strength and magic. As the enchantment faded then shattered with the rush of the Darkborn, Arcron slumped to his knees, the wounds finally opening through his skin. The Reinforcement had kept his skin strong and knit together, his bones solid and his muscles connected, but now the constant strain was catching up. His pores began to sweat blood as the splinters lodged in his back brought forth blood, the many bruised and cracked ribs making his breath ragged. He looked up, blood from a cut across his scalp blinding him, to see the armored man heft his sword and move off, as the others began to disperse as well. Worthlessplebian Worthlessplebian

He saw Ellida tending to another of the group, the small boy, slowly mending his wounds. He almost made to call to her, but saw the strain on her face and the sweat covering her brow. She had enough to deal with. Clenching his teeth and balling his hands, he slowly stood, left arm hanging limb, leaning heavily to the left as blood slowly streamed down him. He shambled over to the fading corpse of the wolf, muttering between wheezes a chant. The forge shifted again, slowly turning back into its cubic form. With a grunt, he reached down and pocketed it. @ElenalsCool Chachalotte Chachalotte

He looked over his shoulder, making eye contact with the savior, and gave her the best bow he could. "Thank...you." He said softly, the best he could give in his current situation. With that, he turned toward the river, using his sword as a cane. Passing the knife happy girl, he gave her a nod, and disappeared into the woods. explosiveKitten explosiveKitten

After only a few slow hundred feet, he came across the armored man and the huntress, both of whom were heading back the way he had come from. He saw the state of the armored man, and the sense of respect that had been creeping on him about the man grew. Not many can take wounds like that, much less keep moving, unless they have had them before. He nodded a greeting to him and the huntress, pausing in his walk to rest on his blade. "Good job. Getting out." He signed to the huntress, as best he could while supporting himself. "Good. To see. Alive." Turning to the armored man, he said out loud. "It's good to see you moving as well." He shifted his weight, holding out his bloodied hand. "The names Arcron." SadistPoet SadistPoet

Scott scoffed at the huntress' comment. "Last I checked, I was 29 years old." He kept thinking about this weird being, she is very capable, skilled and mysterious yet for all her mysteries, Scott was sure about one thing about her, duty, it was that word which circled in his head whenever he thought of her although this conclusion of his is actually very recent around the time his mind was fuzzier than a baby bandersnatch, being near death really does freshen out your thoughts about people. While walking back, Scott asked the huntress "Your name?", he wasn't sure she would answer but hey, better now than later. However the blacksmith suddenly appeared in front of them, this man was one tough cookie, earning a small amount of Scott's respect. The smith wanted to shake hands and Scott agreed to shake although after that he rubbed the hand on a nearby leaf. "I'm Scott and our mysterious huntress has yet to divulge her name."

Feeling stupid and a bit embarrassed Drauzrigh took back his coin, and then engulfed her hand in his and let her lead in this 'shaking of hands' it felt awkward like well he couldn't place anything like it. Is this what humans did for fun and they put each other through this torture every time they met another? Admittedly his brow furrowed as this strange ritual went down and when he had let go she gave him a smile, something he himself could not do as his tusks prevented it from looking separate from a grimace so he just didn't bother. He gave her an ungraceful bow of the head as he rubbed his hands together to wash the feeling of a handshake away. Then Lucas stood up, sobering fast he suddenly became serious and moved with purpose and odd man he was to switch on such a quick note. Having in truth nothing better to do Drauzrigh followed the old man out squeezing again through the door this time far less gracefully. He followed the man outside to where he looked down at what looked to him to look like a scurry of pigs that squealed and writhed in the mud he found the thought amusing and have a bit of a chuckle. He listened to the words of the man and gave a simple reply, at least he thought it was a simple thing to think "What makes you so certain they actually made it through the woods to the next town? Besides I think I'd prefer to not travel the roads at night and I do not know about you two but rest is something I'd greatly desire. that or a few more pints of that brown water the man in the bar calls ale."

"You have a point Sir Orc" resting his arms over the war axe Lucas looked back at the entryway to the inn at Valarie who could barely stand. "Drauzrigh, I would be in your debt if you could escort my daughter up to her room, it would appear the drink was a bit too much for her. Think of it as your first mission" laughing as he turned grabbing the orcs forearm, giving him a warrior's handshake. It was more of a sign of respect than your normal one. "As payment you may enjoy the rest of the barrel of mead, it isnt like that swill you've been drinking" releasing the Orcs forearm and turning towards the forest "I shall return by day break at the latest! If not please escort her to the next town and I shall meet you there!" Waving to the lad as he headed into the woods. Tracking the foot prints as best he could by moonlight until the trees blocked out the light. Stopping Lucas wrapped some cloth from his bag around the head of his axe before casting sparks to light it ablaze.
Now able to see again Lucas continued to walk, stopping for brief periods to listen for the sounds around him just before blowing into a hunting horn.

Valarie stumbled out of the bar holding a cup of mead *hiccup* "oh....D...Draughin....no that's not right...Drauzrigh! Yes that's your name...have you seen my father? Or my boots?" Stumbling over to the large orc only to learn against him. Next to Drauzrigh as he stood up she would have looked like a child. Giggling as she drank from the cup "Drauzrigh...has anyone ever told you that you're built like a tree? I bet you could hurl a boulder or stop a charging beast all with your bare hands!" Sliding off of Drauzrigh while laughing, Valarie landed on her back, looking up at the sky. Spilling her drink on the ground she gazed up at the sky, looking at the stars and the moon. Her cheeks flushed from the alcohol "it's so beautiful...." she muttered to herself as she held her hand up, looking through her fingers as she looked at the silver shape of the moon and twinkling stars. Yawning and curling up into a ball, Valarie had fallen asleep in the middle of the street, right at Drauzrighs feet like a kitten.

Shallie nodded at the well-armed mans sign signals understanding them, but did not offer any response. She could tell that the others were exchanging names without even having to understand their language. Scott and Arcron were there names. The first name, Scott, sounded like many other names of men, but Arcron had a more unique quality to it. Shallie quietly said the name "Arcron" under her breath to make sure she could pronounce it properly. Now, Shallie had no problems leaving her name up in the air, but she had been questioned for her name, "She-Ghoul" Shallie said before making the climb up the 7ft drop. She used a slightly more inclined portion of the drop to climb herself back up. Shallie would then wait for Scott to come up too, offering him a hand to pull him up if he needed it.

Arcron shook Scott's hand, offering a small smile of sorry for the blood that now stained the man's gauntlet, before turning to the huntress. She simply nodded to his signs, and after muttering something under her breath responded simply with 'She-Ghoul', which Arcron took as more of a title or alias than her real name. Probably because she doesn't speak the language, or she just got tired of people mispronouncing her real one. He watched her climb quickly up the slope, again reminding him that she was one of the few to remain untouched by the whole ordeal they had been through. SadistPoet SadistPoet

He cursed under his breath, mulling over his choices and berating himself for his stupidity. 'Me and my bloody nice streak...' he thought, grimacing as his back lanced with pain. He took the brief stall in time to take stock of himself, and he didn't like what he could see. Pain tolerance or not, he could feel the cold of blood loss starting to creep in, vision ever so slightly swimming when he looked about. He REALLY hoped that someone aside from Ellida could heal, she had looked ready to collapse when he left the clearing.

Drauzrigh was having serious doubts as to the mental fortitude of this man entrusting the safety of his daughter to an orc, most people would rather hide their child than willing give them into the arms of what they thought to be a lumbering beast. Then he was grabbed by the man in the arm and shaking it, what was with men and shaking other people's body parts? They truly are a touchy bunch of folk. And there it came the true reward, Ale and if the man was to be trusted the good kind of ale not the budget ale that was being peddled for coin in the bar. Then the man went into the woods at night, truly touched he was... and speaking of touched in the head his new concern came barreling out of the door. She slurred her words as she managed to stumble upon him and say he was 'built like a tree' she really mustn't be able to handle the drink because everyone knows that trees aren't built they are grown. And before anything else she was on the ground asleep, great that won't looks suspicious at all. He picked her up as gently as possible, surprisingly he was used to this when they had to ransom rich people they 'found' on the road. By the time he had made it to the door he had an issue, sure he could manage getting through the door when it was only him but now he had well extra with him he leaned her up against the side of the building as he searched his mind for a solution. It took a moment but he found one, he headed in the inn without her and before long a chair came out of the door then him squeezing out. He picked up Valarie, put her in the chair pushed the chair through the door and used his foot to scoot it across the floor to give himself enough room to get through the door. After he had solved that puzzle, he picked her up and carried across the room all the while repeating in his head pay no attention to the orc carrying the small human girl, he's just being nice, nothing suspicious here. As he walked through the room it felt like an eternity but surprisingly enough no one really payed too much attention, guess anyone was either too drunk or tired to care or try to fight the almost giant sized beast. He let out a sigh of relief as he made it to the stairs and they ascended, he was curled in a hunch as to not smack his head against anything as he made his way up to the rooms. Then he was there with a limp girl in his arms when he realized, he didn't know which room she was to belong to and he wasn't about to smash every door down to find out. He had no other choice but to rock her awake as he asked her, "Which room? Uh Which room is yours?"

Valarie shifted in her sleep, rubbing her eyes a bit *hiccup* "where....room..." yawning she lifted her and looked at the doors for a minute or two. Her vision was blurred and it seemed like everything was doubled to her, her gaze shifting up to the orcs face for a moment, her hand reaching out to touch one of his tusks, her fingers tracing his face "it should be room seven..." she mumbled, her hand falling to her belly, nuzzling into his arms trying to clear her head, the orc didnt seem so bad, he hadn't just thrown her over his shoulder, which admittedly would have looked horrible by any on lookers and would have probably ended badly, most likely for anyone who attacked the giant orc. "Drauzrigh, Can I ask you something? Why do you want to be an Adventurer? Obviously you are strong and even at your age I can tell by how your hands feel that you are no stranger to hard work for fighting.....yet you are gentle enough to carry me without hurting me" most of what she said were observations of what she had seen throughout the night thus far, she wouldn't know of his past but knew the bad reputation a good chunk of orcs had.

“Wait hold up, is the race still on? Are we turning back? What’s going on here?!”

She questioned, throwing her hands up in the air when a good half of the group wandered off. She cocked her brows in their general direction and gapped like a fish, before she finally gave up and walked over to dissolving corpse. She swiftly picked up six throwing knives, having lost one in the scuffle, before wiping them off on her pants.

“Bah! Forget it. I’m going to stick right by his royal tuccus and make sure it doesn’t get fileted by a monster.” She mumbled, sourly glaring in the direction that others disappeared to, before she turned and walked over to the prince, flashing a crooked grin in his direction before making her way over to the only other elf that was there.

She knelt down next to her and rubbed the back of her head awkwardly, clearing her throat. How exactly am I supposed to talk to other elves? Is there some kind of secret handshake, maybe like a code word, I dunno!
“I uh... I guess I might as well introduce myself. My name is Bridget. What is uh... what’s yours?”

He carried the girl forward to the second room, stopped once again because of the door in part but also because of what she asked him, he thought about it then looking down at her. It wasn't that he didn't know why that stumbled him, it's that he did and none of the thoughts were pleasant ones that ran through his head. He wasn't sure what to even say or that he should say anything to the stranger he had met, but there was certainly something to someone treating him like another person that was comforting to him so he let out a reason. It was enough to tell the truth, but not enough for the whole truth "Honor." he said to her before contorting through the door. This time no chair as a crutch to aid in it but he was able some how to get her through into the room before he lay her down unto the bed and found his way to the ale, gods he needed a drink he filled his cup and downed it faster than he filled it. "Why is it that a young human girl would want to be an adventurer?" Truth is he knew only a few reasons someone would want to do it, glory, greed, duty and redemption none he thought seemed to fit her as it seemed to fit most he had met along his travels. He steadied himself with his hand and sat on the floor near the ale filling up the next cup.

Valarie sat up taking the breast plate off and slid it onto the floor along with her gauntlets. After getting comfortable under the blankets she rolled onto her side to face her new orc friend. "Honor....that is as good of a reason as any I suppose" letting her hair down and brushing the golden locks from her face. After watching him retrieve the ale and take a spot in the room. She had never met an orc before, even in the stories orcs and goblins were always portrayed as the bad guys, getting slayed by the hero's or knights. Although this orc didnt seem so bad to her. Shaking off the dazed feeling a little more as he asked her roughly the same question. Taking a moment to gather her thoughts "I guess my reasons are a little silly....most people do it for money or glory..." blushing, a bit embarrassed to say this outloud as she sat up pulling her knees to her chest "I want to be like my father....I just want him to see that I'm not a child anymore and for him to be proud of me" feeling a little childish about her answer she hid her face briefly before peeking up at Drauzrigh "it must sound like a childish answer but Lucas saved me when I was a child....something attacked us and he shielded me with his body....ever since then he has raised me as if I was his own child and all I've wanted to do is make him proud..."

Drauzrigh supposed her reason was probably better than his reason, and in some ways he could sympathize as he could liken his situation to hers. He thought a bit to himself before coming back to the moment for a response to what she said, "It's a more noble cause than many would have." He raised his cup and said, "To your Father, Lucas, and to the future pride you will bring him. Skhul!" He said before downing the whole thing in seemingly one gulp and looking back at her. The man did not lie this was good ale, certainly better than the water poured downstairs. He bagan to fill another cup, "I would offer another cup but considering what brought us here, I think it would not be smart of me to do so." He took up his final cup drinking it a bit more cautously than the other ones. He shouldn't get drunk, he had thought to himself, "What time should I expect you tomorrow?" He said hoisting himself off of the ground.

"Skhul!" Valarie said with him, laying back down and covering herself up with the blankets once more. Giggling at what he said about her having another drink "I suppose you are correct in saying that I shouldn't have any more, but me being like this wasn't all bad, I got to have a nice conversation with a new friend..." yawning and stretching before settling in the bed. She had a nice time talking with him, it was nice having someone near her age to talk with, even if it was a giant orc. "When ever you wake up please rouse me, sleep well Drauzrigh and thank you for seeing me safely to my room" winking at the orc before falling fast asleep, or rather before passing out.
(Goodnight everyone!)

'She-ghoul' Scott thought to himself, that alias sounded familiar and judging by the way the monster was damaged before it disappeared, he reckoned she's that monster hunter he heard about. He watched her climb up the slope with ease which reminded him of how badly he was injured and now even though he was healed by the small elf's magic, the sting of pain was just underneath his skin, it appears that he will have to wait until he can get a look at himself in the town. Well, at least his climb up the slope will be easier as the webbing that he used to propel downwards was still there. "Hey Arcron, you know how to climb abseil style?" Scott said while moving near the crimson web, he grabbed onto it with his empty hand. "Because I'd rather you not hang off my throat like an overgrown ape." He said as climbed up, he placed the longsword on cliff and accepted the She-ghoul's hand, giving a simple nod of thanks.

Ellida had to constantly stop healing to take deep breaths. Even If she had replenished her energy, she still didn't rest and moving the barrier and fighting did take a toll on her. That was also why her healing was slow, because she was tired. She was apparently too nice or too stubborn to have a quick rest.

Ellida was interrupted mid-heal by the other elf who knelt next to her and cleared her throat. She blinked at her introduction and gave her a small but weak smile. She seriously needed communication classes, even if it was to another elf, but then again she didn't know her.

"Ellida..N-nice to..M-meet you" She said, stuttering. She inspected Bridget for wounds. She didn't seem to have any, impressive.
"Do you..know..H-healing magic?" She asked. She really needed help since making the Shaman's healing fast would make her pass out and that would just turn off her light. Speaking of the light, it began to dim slowly. explosiveKitten explosiveKitten Chachalotte Chachalotte

Arcron grunted before shifting his weight, slowly following the two fighters up the cliffside. It hurt, his head swam, and honestly, it felt like he was going to die. He felt his blood slow as more of it went outside of him than stayed in, and his vision began to blacken. Gritting his teeth, he tried to keep moving, but his body failed him where his will didn't. He slowly felt himself losing his grip on the webbing, head rolling back as eyelids closed. The cold rush of water joined the creep of ice already felt under his skin, and he slipped into the black void... Worthlessplebian Worthlessplebian SadistPoet SadistPoet

Aaron glanced around, making sure he was not dreaming. His vision became clearer once he discharged his energy and he knelt down from the sudden release as he regained consciousness. Suddenly, the sounds of steels and magic stopped. The many dead corpses, whether it was from the participants or wolves still hurt him a little bit, even though it wasn't the first time. He finally remarked that almost everyone went away, and his ankle was being healed from an elf named Ellida who was talking to Bridget.

He slipped into the conversation. Maybe it was the right time to pass on his name, in case they would meet up again later. "My name is Aaron. Thank you for treating me." That reminded him a little bit of his childhood. His fragile smile vanished once he saw her almost passed out and he waved his hands. Her tired face worried him, and if the light went off suddenly it would be problematic. "Don't worry about me, you've already done great." He said by slowly moving his leg away, standing up again despite being careful to not worsen the wound. "See? I don't want to be a bother for you two." That was enough for him and he could rest later on anyways. "We should head toward the exit. After all, we still haven't won."

Lucas tracked on through the woods, resting his war axe, which was still being used as a torch, on his shoulder, pausing to study the tracks that lay before him. Taking a deep breath he blew into the hunting horn much harder than before. The loud noise echoing through the trees, which in truth probably ly was not his best idea of the day but he had been drinking all night. Letting the horn drop to his side, his grip tightening on his axe as he cast the spell Iron skin on himself before moving through the forest, picking his place up. The red aura or energy that iron skin gave off would have made him look like some sort of demon or malicious spectar. He was gaining ground on following the group despite his size but was still behind them. A slight bit of worry crept over him, he knew what beasts lie in these woods, light and noise weren't exactly ones friend in the dark here. One would be better off if they could see in the night than lead by torch or lantern.

"A new friend." He echoed back at her in a mumbled voice, he turned hearing her request for him to wake her in the morning. That won't be necessary, he thought to himself, her father will likely be back before the morning but none the less he listened and agreed to the request nodding at her before closing the door behind him and locking it. He lumbered his way down to the hall and through the front door haphazardly out into the front, it was definitely darker than before but it didn't matter much to Drauzrigh. He made his way over to the sables to see his friend, Hasufel, he needed some alone time. In all honesty all this social time however brief was tiring for him, how was it people did this for so long daily he would never understand perhaps one day he would if more people were to treat him like Valarie would. But that itself would be dishonest because no matter how much he hated that others prejudged him being a monster, a monster was indeed what he was, what he needed to fix. He stroked Hasufel's mane and spoke to him in Orcish, a guttural and throaty language, "You're the only one to actually know me Hasufel and stay by me."

The Horse nudged him bestirring the ground with his hoof, it was then that Drauzrigh has noticed that his coat was unkempt, "Don't worry friend, we'll get you nice and groomed like one of those princesses that men in the taverns like to boast about." he grabbed a handful of hay from the ground of the stable and began to brush out the stallion's rich black coat there was something smoothing about the method to it all that calmed both him and Hasufel. "It's official Has, tomorrow we'll finally start this adventuring business." Drauzrigh got a soft neigh in response to his news, "No this is not like the other time when we killed all those giant rats." the horse beat the ground with his left hoof, "What sort of crazy woman keeps giant rats for pets and 20 of them none the less? If anything I did her a favor getting rid of them." He continued to groom the horse humming an unrecognizable tune as he did so after a half an hour or so of grooming he made it down to the hooves, "Ah we need to get you to a farrier friend, it has been much too long since you've gotten fitted for shoes. Hopefully the next town will have someone for us." He stood up stroking the main of Hasufel, "Sleep well, and do try to stay out of trouble."

He picked up his sack full of supplies before heading back to the inn and up the stairs, he went to check on Valarie and to store his items, it was far better than keeping them in a stable or purchasing a room for it. He set the bag down taking only his wooden statuette, knife, and clothes on his back, the rest was to stay in the room with the girl. He looked up to check on her, to him she appeared fast asleep and unperturbed. He left as quickly as he had come to the room, then back outside the inn looking down at the trace of beginning of the race. He had thought about what tomorrow might bring him, then found himself a bit tired so he searched for a log on the edge of the wood or near the clearing. He found a rather large fallen one which he slung over his shoulder before pressing it down against the side of the inn to create a makeshift bench for himself which he sat upon. This would have to do for sleep, he would have rented a room to sleep if they had beds large enough or if he could even sleep on them. It was habit, the draft of nature had always been the guide to him falling asleep ever since he could remember.

Drauzrigh took out his statuette and ran his thumb over it, it was of what appeared to be an orc man with a notable difference the likeness had horns like that of a bull and a crown upon his head. The figure was that of the patron god of the orcs, Molekh, it was said that he was the king of all Orcs from whom they all were descended, every seventh year there was the great mating festival where a figure of him would be burned for his blessing. Drauzrigh had seen two of these, he had often remembered them because the flames burned so hot and high it made the winters feel as if they were summer for a night. He took in the statuette and held it against his forehead before muttering a soft prayer to his god and setting the figure up against the inn. He relaxed himself before begging to rest outside, his breathing slowed as he took in the ever cooling air in through his nostrils and the world began to spin away into a dream of a glass-like lake.

All he knew was the dark.
All he would ever know was the dark.
At least, that's what it whispered to him, huddled in the shadows of the monsters that surrounded him and the one born within.
From the shadows they watched him, clawing at the walls, screaming his name in their infernal tongue, calling to him to join them
To end the night.
To walk to the shadows.
To at last be without the pain.
The cold.
The loneliness.
The voices that will never speak again.
But he still fought, still clung to hope.
Grasping for something, anything, to save him from the darkness.
Then he felt his salvation.
And swore to never give into the dark.

Night gathers, and now my craft begins.
Steel and fire my flesh and blood.
I am the forge of weapons anew.
I am the fire of shadows bane.
I am the arm of mortal's creation.
I am the vessel of master's work.
I am the anvil of world's shame.
I am the hammer of wrongs righted.
Till the shadows fade, my fire will blaze.
Till the dawn comes, and the day dawns, I will continue my craft.

Scott sees Arcron falling into unconsciousness, he guesses that he didn't wait until he got fully healed or that he didn't wait for his blood levels to stabilize before travelling to find him and the She-ghoul, who he noted has vanished. well, it's up to me to save him. Scott stretched and left the loaned longsword, well his new longsword on the cliff. He descended down the web quickly and ran over to Arcron's body, checking his pulse in order to see if he is still alive. Thankfully there still was a faint pulse then Scott grabbed Arcron by his arm and leg, he proceeded to swing him onto of his back.

"Oh.. someone needs to lay off the fruit crustards." He commented as he moved back to the webbing, he placed the body against the wall of the drop and tied both of his hands to webbing. Scott climbed up the webbing and immediately started pulling Arcron up although with care as to not accidentally brain him on the rocks. "Someone defiantly needs to stop shoving cakes too"After the knight of Webb finally pulled up Arcron's unconscious carcass, he drew heavy breaths as he could already feel the exhaustion after using Webb Tradition 3 times. "You owe me for this one." Scott said as he pointed at Arcron's face, picking up his new longsword then picking Arcron up on his shoulders and then entered the forest.

"I should've stayed at tavern..." He laments.

Lucas finds his way through the dark, stumbling upon the group, or what is left of the survivors from that beasts attack. Swinging his axe quickly to extinguish the flames before calling out " is anyone injured?" As he examined the faces of who all was there, some of them looking as if they were going to drop dead and others in much better condition. As he looked the lot over he paused, seeing a familiar face among then. Letting out a sigh of relief to see that the young man he met all those years ago hadn't died. Laughing as he mad his way over to Arcron only to see him falling to the ground. Rushing over Lucas made an attempt to rouse the boy from his deathly slumber "Arcron if you die before meeting my perfect little girl I'll bring you back from the dead just to kill you myself!" His voice booming as he stood up, holding Arcron by his shirt with one hand. The large man was truly worried for his friend but it wouldn't have looked like that from any on lookers.

Natalie's eyes narrowed as she saw movement in the trees, relaxing only slightly when the forms were shown to be the remaining adventurers who had left to presumably complete the race. Little did they know that they were all that was left of the once one hundred prospective. She shook her head, quietly mourning the loss of life before steeling herself. It had to be down. If these were to be the ones to help her protect the prince and accomplish his dream, then they would have to be strong enough to survive much worse. Her gaze slowly shifted through the group, seeing the two armored men with hands on the blacksmith, who was completely limp in the arms of one of them while being held aloft at the collar by the other. She noticed the small conversation between the three small members, a boy and two elf girls, one of whom had just finished healing the boy and looked about ready to keel over. One that she failed to see was the exotic woman, who had fled earlier from the battle to complete the race. A small frown traced her face as she turned to her prince.

"We should return to the tavern, we don't know if there are any more of those creatures out here." She paused a moment before nodding to the ragged band. "And I do believe that these are all that are left."

The prince nodded, a smirk cracking his noble features as he surveyed the group, seemingly unaware of their wounds and fatigue and addressing them curtly. "Well done all of you! Congratulations on winning this challenge and proving yourselves to me! Please, return to the tavern where you all were before and we shall discuss what is next." Turning on his heel, he marched off into the forest. Natalie turned to the group and gestured to the blacksmith.

"Bring him to the tavern, his wounds need healing and none of you are in good enough condition to do so." She began to turn before pausing and looking back at the bloodied and beaten group. "And truly, I am grateful that you survived." With a nod, she sheathed her blade and took up pace behind the prince, like an armored shadow to a bright light.

Ellida felt so tired, the floor looked comfortable and she felt her eyes feel heavy. She shook away the feeling and with an wave of her hand, dispatched the light.

"Is anyone injured?"

The voice of a man made Ellida break out at almost sleeping. She gave him a shake of her head, as she looked at the Shaman, who was already standing. That was funny, he it was like they switched places

"Well done all of you! Congratulations on winning this challenge and proving yourselves to me! Please, return to the tavern where you all were before and we shall discuss what is next."

The voice of the Prince snapped her out of her thoughts, making the elf look at him with a frown. Well done? They almost died! Or was fighting the darkborn was also part of the race. He was right about the tavern though, but his suggestion was still stupid. Arcron was injured badly and needed to heal and herself was about to pass out like him. Ellida was about to heal him before Lady Natalie's words made her stop on her tracks. She was right, in every way. Taking a deep breath and a strong grip on her stick, she stood up and walked over to the new armoured man"Did..You co-come from the tavren?"She asked wearily. She then noticed her mistake and corrected herself. A nice bed sounded very nice.

"I suppose that would make you our benefactor, introductions are in order but I suppose due to their current situation it will have to wait, Prince" bowing as he tossed Arcron over his shoulder. Placing the war axe on his back once more "I did come from the tavern, my daughter and I arrived late and were drinking up until that beasts roar disrupted our evening....mead doesn't taste as good with so few people there you know" smiling at Ellida as he offered her his hand "would you like me to carry you young miss? It would be rude to make a maiden such as yourself walk in this condition" other than arcron, being the third tallest of the adventures, Lucas was taller and more muscular yet he was still shorter than his new orc friend. He was carrying Arcron as if he was a mere sack of potatoes, yet despite his size he seemed like he wouldn't harm a fly, a gentle giant.....usually.

Scott, tired from the challenges, the running, the wolves, the bandersnatch, he almost wanted to collapse but that would just disgrace his family's strict discipline. Thanks to the the big man lifting Arcron off his back, he does a massive stretch. "At least I made it in." He sighs at the prince and Natalie's offer to return to the tavern. "As you wish, o Prince of Edenia" Scott lacking a sheath for his newly acquired longsword simply held it by the cross guard. "Gonna have to buy a sheath for this blade." The ruination of his armor would have to be fixed before he could adventure.

He looked over at the little elf who he thinks was known as Ellida. "Thanks once again for the healing but you look like a crumbling cliff" ElenaIsCool ElenaIsCool
