To answer a question someone asked in Discord - a character's backstory only has to go up to the moment of the summoning in the interest check. The actual roleplay will begin about five seconds after the interest check takes place - five minutes, tops.

  She is unfathomably knowledgeable, but applies it

  though nowhere near the level of a dragon

  She has a rather calm soft voice and moves in a way that is abnormally
  unthreatening for a dragon. That part of her really only shows through
  when she is in an inspired frenzy over some project.

  History
  Sylva has spent most of her art practicing crafting and artificing for the sake
  of further increasing the power of dragons. She has an almost an abnormal
  thirst for knowledge in the area, having gone to great lengths to get her
  claws on as many rare books on the matter, however the true holy grail is
  when she came across a bizarre picture book from earth called Mobile Suit
  Gundam. Within she found many things she had never before dreamed of,
  and has turned her focus to trying to reproduce some of the things in there
  for use by dragons, much to the dismay of said dragons who previously saw
  great promise of her normal artificing talents.
  
  It wouldn't be enough to just recreate the tech though, she had also noticed
  a distinct lack of magic in those designs, a true oversight. If she were to
  combine that sort of firepower with magical firepower, her creations will
  surely be unstoppable.
• Motivation
  Sylva has an utter fascination with the power of magicless human
  technology, particularly weaponry. She wants to make a dragon mech.
  
  Fears
  She dislikes having to go out and do things, that is what minions are for.
  Her biggest fear however is probably other dragons that she hasn't met
  before, since while she is naturally stronger than most compared to other
  dragons she is quite weak.
  
  Personality
  She's not too much of an introvert, but she views most people she interacts
  with as tools/research subjects to further her goals. She only really starts to
  care about someone if they have something that they can offer to her
  overall research goals. Every failure and setback is just further fuel for her
  inevitable success.
• Relationships
  Other Dragons:
  As long as she's met them before, she'll tolerate their presence, but
  generally shows little interest in them unless they have something for her.
• Hobbies
  Sylva likes reading, all sorts of books. Earth human fantasy books are
  particularly amusing to her, but science fiction is where her real love lies
  of course. She has an expected fondness for the idea of mechs and spaceships.
  
  Learned Skills
  Sylva is a genius artificer, a less practiced alchemist, and an inventor.
  She is good at general maintenance of advanced Earth technology, particularly
  earthern weaponry and to a lesser extent vehicles. She's used her contracts
  before as an excuse to get some hands on some in the past.
  
  Magic
  Sylva has a large array of powerful magic around delicate manipulation of
  objects thanks to her quest to mess and fiddle with human technology. Her
  most powerful ability allows her to restore something she has disassembled
  while the magic is active, which allows her to dismantle new tech or even
  modify it without risking breaking it. The second strongest allows her to
  finely shape magically conductive metal for her artificing work.
  
  She also has the ability to pour magic in to objects, a method of enchantment
  often used to make magical grenades that explode with a magical element.
  She also has some experimental magic that uses this to imbue human based
  weaponry with magic, but is still working out the kinks.

  Requirements:
  Sylva will not take any interest in anyone with a low intelligence stat, so it
  is recommended you spend most of your free time increasing it.
  
  Flirting:
  Always choose the options that bring up her research or the ability to talk
  about it. Hold back on any mention of dating until you've triggered a
  couple events.
