Fantasy The Demon's Bride [Reawakened]

Decthalia watched as the halls began to light up, though she was too petrified to be caught looking at the aflame candles in awe. Decthalia heard the women in front of her telling her to walk much faster and quite frankly, she didn’t think that she could. Perhaps this woman could just drag her to the room, because at this rate, Decthalia was about to give up. Though it wasn’t a very far walk from where the event was being held, but the fact that the grand room was only a five minute walk from where her room was, she was scared that the events that took place in there, could haunt her dreams.

When they finally reached the room, Decthalia was shocked at what she saw, and even appalled.

Was this where I am to be resided? He sees me as nothing much trash to him. She thought to herself as she began to take in the room before her. The couch was basically broken and on the floor, looking as dusty as possible; as if nobody has sat on it in years. The room itself had a light mist to it, due to the fact that possibly nobody came in to clean it nor were any windows open. As for the bed, Decthalia only shook her head, seeing that he didn’t even prepare for her arrival. Puzith’s room was probably very grand and beautifully decorated, and he gave her this monstrosity.

When Decthalia walked around a bit more in the room, she peaked her head where the bathroom was and wanted to run away screaming, she had never seen anything so dirty in her life, and she was not about to go shower nor use anything in that bathroom.

Decthalia looked the woman named Merce and listened to what she was saying about the dresses, and Decthalia’s eyes were left as wide as can be. She was shocked to see how revealing these dresses were, every part of her would be exposed and she didn’t like that idea. She had never been revealing in her life; always being covered from head to toe.

“There must be something else for me to wear that is not so revealing...” She muttered as she took a slight step towards Merce, but made sure to keep her distance. Something about this woman didn’t sit right with her and she was not going to let her guard down.

Though her ears perked up when she heard Merce say the last part and it got her wonder, “Have you given him what he wants?” Implying that Merce has possibly slept with Puzith. Decthalia knew that it would possibly be truth, since Puzith was a dangerous demon and he always got what he wanted, even women.

Merce's dead eyes looked over Decthalia, "Every bride of Puzith eventually gives him what he wants." With slow movements she turns her back and picks through the clothing, "Some are more stubborn, and they're the ones that suffer the most. The woman before me was only 17 when she arrived at this castle. Because of her arrogance he set his demons upon her for a spectacle at our wedding. They ripped her limb from limb and ate her flesh while she was still alive. I have obeyed and he has promised to send me back to my family. I bore him three children during the long five years I have been here. Each of them misshapen, black-eyed little monsters who tore at my breasts when I fed them and drank my milk and blood to sate their blood-lust."

Her tone is even as she recounts the horrors of her time in the castle. "Listen to Flocien, the rules he has given you will save your life. Puzith cares not for your life, and lies fall from his lips like honey but reality is a destructive poison." She turns and offers a dress to you. A long, red gown adorned with rubies and pearls sewn into the fabric. It is more conservative than the other dresses available, and with the sad smile on her lips, it is the only measure of kindness she can offer you.

"This room has been everything to me. My sanctuary. I hope it can be the same for you, and I hope that if you do everything correctly you will leave here better off than myself and the others who have come before us."

Decthalia looked down once more at her once beautiful white gown, was now filled with the scent of death, and was also wet with her tears from earlier. Decthalia also saw that there was dirt and blood from the hands of those horrid things, that were on her. Decthalia couldn’t understand how this could become her new life now, and now Decthalia was stuck listening to what Merce was saying to her. How the women before her had it even rougher, so to Decthalia, this was probably the beginning for her. Decthalia touched the side of her head, as a throbbing pain came to her, but was gone within seconds. It was probably due to the fact that when she fell on the floor, she hit her head a bit.

Decthalia was shocked at what Merce said to her, and she only shook her head once up and down. “Thank you...” Decthalia quietly said as she took the dress from Merce and walked over to where the bed was, but she couldn’t even get herself to call it that, it was just a mattress on the floor with only a blanket on it. Decthalia would prefer to sleep on the broken couch, then to sleep on that bed.

“You have children? Are they here in this castle now?” Decthalia asked her, seeing how she never knew that Puzith had children, and the thought of her bearing his children was going to send her straight to her grave, after hearing the horrors that Merce had to encounter.

Decthalia saw the smile from her lips disappear and with that, Decthalia turned her back to Merce and just looked down at the floor, as if she was about to cry once more.

Decthalia had to get out of this place, even with what they just told her about following the rules and obeying Puzith, Decthalia didn’t think that she could. Who was she kidding herself, she was very fragile and had never stepped foot out of her home in a while, and now she is to be the bride of Puzith, the demon that has terrorized her people and the land. Decthalia didn’t know whether she could be able to free herself from this place, but she was going to be very cautious about trying.

Merce was quiet for several seconds, but took a shaky breath and said, "I don't know where the children are. For all I know they're dead. He would always tell me they were disappointments to him."

A soft knock on the door resounded through the room, and a voice outside announced, "My ladies, Lord Puzith is ready for you to return so we can have the wedding ceremony." Outside a small goblin in a torn tunic waited to escort her back to the wedding.

Merce inhaled and sighed, "I'm sorry to you. I truly am, but when I leave here I'm not looking back. Get dressed, and be swift. I'll wait for you outside."

---------------

In the ballroom the demons stood silently, watching the lone figure of their Lord where he stood, looking down over the town Decthalia had called home. "Flocien." His second winced at the sound of his name.

"Yes Lord Puzith."

"This town will fit into my plans quite nicely don't you think? The trade routes are flourishing, and a great deal of importance is being given to them. I believe that if we can control any portion of these business we will have access to a power that no demon has ever wielded." He swirled his drink with one hand.

"What power is that, My Lord?" Flocien was scared of the answer, but knew his master wanted him to ask.

"If we become an economic power in the realm of mortals, we can force governments to bow to our will, control the population, and create misery and sorrow wherever we go. We will be kings and gods over them. The entire globe will be ours for the taking."

"You are a visionary, Lord Puzith."

"I know." He purred as he brought his glass up to his lips.

That is such a cruel thing to say to a woman who had birthed three of his children.

Decthalia hopes that she would never bear his children, she didn’t thing that he deserved to have children of his own, given the fact that Merce had given him three in which he wasn’t grateful for.

Decthalia heard the knocking at the door and when she turned to look over her shoulder, she saw that it was one of those creatures that she saw roaming the halls earlier when she got there. Decthalia didn’t know what to think of these odd creatures, for it was the first time she has seen them in her life, but she knew that it wouldn’t be the last time.

With that final notion from Merce, she had turned on her heel and left Decthalia all alone in the room. Decthalia decided that she would remove her soiled and ruined dress and even though it was destroyed, she still folded the dress and put it down on the bed. Decthalia slipped on the red dress that Merce picked out for her, and she was glad that it covered some parts of her body, given the fact that the rest of the dresses were very revealing.

Decthalia looked at the bay window and wanted to jump out and hopefully fall into a bush, but she knew that it wouldn’t be ideal. Given that terrible event that Puzith thought was so funny, she didn’t want to risk another reenactment of that same event. Decthalia shook the thought out of her head and looked at herself in the mirror that hung on the wall, her hair was completely messy, and so she decided to take the Hair pins that were holding Her hair up in a bun and allowed her hair to cascade down past her reAr. Decthalia had never cut her hair, nor was she planning on doing so, she loved her hair And nobody has seen the length of her hair, not even the people back at her castle.

Decthalia began to bring her hair up into a bun again and with that, she walked to the door and hesitated to open it. Decthalia grabbed the door and opened it, ready to leave and go back to that horrid man.

The little creature bowed to you and snickered into his sleeve as he said, "M'Lady. His High Cruel Lordship demands your presence for your Unholy union." He reached out and grabbed the hem of her dress and began to pull her along in the dark hallways, muttering to himself. "Xrater, Xrater, careful of your claws. If you rip her dress, he'll rip you apart for applause." It was a horrid little rhyme, but it seemed to amuse him.

The great hall was unchanged, still there were the disguised demons parading around like they were at a ball. The drinks were flowing heavily, and the food was being destroyed at the buffet, and as you reenter, one of the demons stamps their foot on the ground and announces your return. "Her Ladyship Decthalia has returned."

Puzith turns and a cloud of darkness descends upon him, and as the smoke clears he stands in black armor, brightly polished and gleaming like a beetle's exoskeleton. "Are you ready my bride?"

{{Sorry it took so long sprouhtt sprouhtt , I messed up my eye yesterday and I couldn't look at a screen for very long.}}

Decthalia was slightly taken by surprise when she Felt a tug at the hem of her dress, when she looked down, she saw it was another one of Puzith’s minions. She hadnt even noticed how close she brought her arms to her chest in complete surprise. Decthalia didn’t know whether or not she would get use to thsee creatures that lurked around, because every time she saw them, she would shudder in their presence. She missed her kingdom, even though she never really went outside of the castle perimeter, but just knowing that there were no creatures lurking in the castle was a nice thought to have in the back of her mind.

Decthalia didn’t complain, all she did was shake her head up and down once when the creature said what it was there to do. She followed quietly alongside the creature, while it sung a short and rather rhythmic tune. When they reached the grand room; where the event was taking place, or as Decthalia likes to think of it A funeral for her life that is ending, she saw that the people were still enjoying themselves as if nothing had happened earlier.

When the creature stomped its foot to get the attention of everyone, it echoed throughout the grand hall and before she could even have time to blink, Puzith was in front of her. His dark presence startled her and her body began to tremble in front of him. Decthalia screamed on the inside when he asked her that question, though all that she could do was just shake her head up and down, as a sign that she was ready for whatever he had planned. At this point, Decthalia didn’t care what happened next, because she knew that everything in her life was going down the drain.

The creatures in that populated the hall began to snicker as she trembled and nodded her head in response. The crowd seemed to be attempting to hold back their mirth until Puzith himself began to join in with the laughter. At first it was a reserved chuckle that encouraged everyone to laugh a little louder, and then they fed into each other in a vicious cycle until the occupants of the great hall began to openly laugh and scream their merriment. A man dressed in finery fell over and knocked one of the tables with food over, causing everyone to laugh a little louder. As the crescendo of laughter rose to a cacophony; Puzith himself had tears streaming down his face and was clutching the wall for support. Even the stalwart Flocien held his hand over his mouth and chuckled with the group.

"YOU CAN SMELL IT!" Puzith roared, racing down the stairs with supernatural agility and staring Decthalia directly in the face. "Fear." It was a whisper, and accusation. His cold, black eyes were staring directly into her soul and he was drinking it all in.

He held up a hand, and silence permeated the hall in an instant. "It has been so long since I have smelled the delectable aroma of true fear. It is like the champagne of scents, it fills the senses and recalls to memory every moment of victory and conquest I have had." With surprising gentleness he caresses her cheek and grips her chin. "I will have so much fun with you, Decthalia." He says as he softly kisses her lips.

Decthalia heard slight snickering before the whole room lit up with laughter, obnoxious laughter resonated throughout the room and possibly drifted into the hallway, causing some of the servants of Puzith to peak their heads in. Decthalia almost forgot about her trembling body as she was lost in the room of laughter.

Why were they laughing?

Were they laughing at her?

Possibly...

Though she heard a commotion from across the room, and one of the attendees had fallen over, knocking some food on the ground, which is why everyone laughed even harder. But she still knew that they were laughing at her for some reason. Maybe seeing how unfortunate her life has become; a mere human to be wed to death himself.

Decthalia wanted to take both of her hands and use them as earmuffs to tune out the wicked laughter that surrounded her, but she knew she couldn’t because she was already showing how weak she was by physically trembling before everyone and her husband-from-hell. Decthalia tried to comprehend what Puzith was saying when he spoke aloud, but to her, the room smelled of death mixed with perfume.

Decthalia watched as Puzith came closer and closer to her. She wanted to take a step back, but where was she going to go?

Though she did hesitate a great deal when Puzith brought his hand to her chin, gripping it within his grasp, though not as hard as she expected. But what took her by surprise were his words and that made her want to retract her face from his grip, but she couldn’t; when Puzith brought his lips to hers.

Decthalia’s eyes widened at the kiss, given the fact that this was her first kiss. It was a stolen kiss at that, but she didn’t argue that it was a bad kiss either. To her surprise, it was pleasant and his lips tasted sweet, yet bitter, probably due to the wine that he might of drunk earlier.

Decthalia snapped out of whatever trance she was in, and began to pull away from Puzith, trying to signal to him that the kiss was over, plus she was as red as one of the roses that were throughout the room.

Puzith released his grasp on her face and smiled, "We are going to have such fun, aren't we my sweet?" He turned to face the rest of the hall and held his hands wide, "Let us not forget why we're here. It is time for my wedding!" He clapped his hands and the demons of the hall began to rearrange the furniture, pulling the food-laden tables to the walls and settling into their positions for the ceremony. A pair of imps flew down from the rafters and set about gathering flowers and putting them together into a bouquet which they fluttered down and held out to Decthalia.

Puzith walked back up to the stage at the head of the hall and stood at the top of the stairs, motioning for you to follow him. His smile was grand and full, with a twinkle in his eye that betrayed his usual grim demeanor. Behind him from the grand staircase a figure in a black robe glided down the steps, and all of the lights in the hall seemed to dim with his presence. A thick mist blanketed the room at ankle height and everyone went quiet.

"Welcome to this gathering of the Damned." The robed figure began. His voice had a gurgle to it, as though he was being choked as he spoke. "Before we begin with this union, Lord Puzith, there is a matter we must attend to." He gestured to Merce, his former bride.

"Indeed." Puzith said, holding out his hand to Merce, who approached him and lightly took his hand. Her body was also trembling with the anticipation of freedom. "Last full moon you asked something of me, and all I asked for was time to accomplish it. Would you care to reiterate to my court what your request was?"

"I wished for my freedom. I wished to be returned to my family." Her voice was quiet, meek. Puzith sneered at her.

"You have served your time with me diligently, and without complaint. I have never had such a submissive bride who obeyed without fault. You will be missed." He put his hand on her face and pulled her closer. "I haven't treated you the way you deserved to be treated. The way your lovely knight would've treated you. I truly am sorry, embrace me one last time, my love, and then I will send you to your family."

She leaned in closer and he wrapped her in a hug. Her arms halfheartedly wrapped her own arms around his torso, though she clearly wanted to be done with her time there. Puzith leaned down and whispered something in her ear which made her eyes grow wide with fear. She screamed out, "NO, YOU MONSTER!" And tried to break his embrace, but instead he just gave a grim smile and looked at Decthalia with a wild look in his eye.

The hall grew cold as a wind rushed through and extinguished every source of light from the hall and replaced it with blue fire hovering above the heads of the crowds. Puzith's face twisted and contorted, revealing a gargoyle-like appearance to his face with elongated fangs. With a roar he sunk his teeth into her neck, blood spurting everywhere, spraying his clothes and the marble of the stairs. She fell to the ground, and tried to get away from him, only to find herself tumbling down the stairs to fall at Decthalia's feet. The blood pulled around her as she tried to stop the bleeding, a futile gesture. Her neck was obliterated, and she lay there for several seconds, looking Decthalia in the eye until she expired.

Decthalia took long slow steps towards the alter as the room began to transform to accommodate for the wedding ceremony that was going to take place. Decthalia‘s eyes became glossy as she looked around at the scene that was about to take place. Decthalia hated this so much, and she wanted this event to be over with. Decthalia was too afraid to look and see where the flowers had come from, so she just took it gently as it was held down to her. Decthalia watched as Puzith called upon Merce and she looked even more frightened then Decthalia. Decthalia watched carefully as Puzith’s emotions change drastically when Merce was finally within his reach, he had a look of sincerity on his face when he began to talk about how well she has served him. Decthalia thought back to the conversation that she had with Merce back in the bedroom, where Merce told Decthalia that the only way to survive here is to be completely obedient and give Puzith what he wants, she wasn’t joking. Now Merce was about to be set free, and a part of Decthalia felt happy about Puzith giving her the freedom she needed.

But Decthalia was also very surprised at Puzith’s actions and she never thought he would be capable of showing those kinds of emotions, maybe she judged him a bit too quickly.

Though Decthalia began to soon see that her suspicions were correct because Puzith’s whole face began to change drastically and it was as if she was staring at a nightmare in front of her. His new facial features made Decthalia’s tears finally flow from her eyes. She wanted to scream, but she couldn’t. What got her even more fearful was when Puzith took a gigantic bite of Merce and sunk his teeth into her. Decthalia began to step back a bit, but she was stopped by one of Puzith’s creatures and she stood there shaking; watching as Puzith released her and she fell right in front of Decthalia, giving a pleading look to the both of them and Decthalia couldn’t do anything to save her.

Decthalia began to hyperventilate when she watched as Merce breathed her last breath and she looked at Puzith frantically, Will that happen to me when he finally sees that he is done with me? Will I receive the same fate as Merce? Decthalia thought to herself as she had tears running down her face.

Flocien took a step forward to Puzith and extended a handkerchief to his master, who took it and delicately dabbed the blood away from his mouth and lips. The Demon Lord was grinning from ear to ear, a bright twinkle in his black eyes. He turned to Decthalia and motioned for her to approach. "Fear not, my love. I have kept my promise. She asked to be reunited with her family, and I have obliged her. That moron of a father and her sisters were all killed when she took residence in my castle for the petulance of her former lover. I have joined them all in the afterlife." He cackled, filling the still air with a manic electricity.

"Puzith always keeps his promise." He whispered, motioning her forward to join him in front of his dark priest. "And Puzith is never wrong."

Decthalia looked at Puzith who didn’t seemed phased at all, she wondered what was going through his mind when he decided to kill her. It was an awful trick that he pulled on Merce, and she probably didn’t even know that her family was dead. Decthalia knee that Puzith did this to show Decthalia that he won’t hesitate the take her life from her. Decthalia saw no solution to her problems, if she disobeys, he will kill her possibly and if he grows old of her, he will still kill her.

All this talk about killing is making her sick and without thinking, she puts her hand on her stomach, and then her throat, trying to soothe Her stomach from embarrassing herself.

she watched as this murderous man wipe the blood of his former wife away from him. Decthalia stepped to the side of Merce as she made her way up to the dark priest and Puzith and the ceremony was about to commence.
tane5naoki tane5naoki

Puzith took his place next to her, and reached out and placed a hand on her hand. His skin was cold to the touch, as though he were a cadaver. Flecks of blood stained his white skin and a droplet rolled off his hand onto the bouquet of flowers. The dark priest began to speak in a language not of this world. The air around Decthalia began to rush as the wind picked up in the castle. Behind you the rows of monsters were buffeted by the powerful gusts generated by the spell and ceremony.

Within the circle, though, it was quiet and she heard every word. Visions danced across her mind as long forgotten memories of her ancestors were brought to mind. Of humans enslaved by demons who ruled on high. Terrible things as babies were ripped from their mother's arm and sacrificed to elder demons. The priest was speaking of the history of Demonkind. A great cataclysm rocked the status quo of the world and Demons fell into a pit, and humans were allowed to rule the surface under the benevolent power of a Goddess of Light.

She saw demons begin to return to the surface, to etch out a living in the rocks and rubble of their former empires, and then the story of Puzith began to play out. He was a lowly demon who tricked his way to the top, creating his castle from the ether and stone, making it a haven for other demons who wished to have a taste of what the demons of old got.

"Hold out your hands." The demon said. Puzith faced Decthalia and held out his right arm, and gestured for her to also hold out the same arm.

Decthalia felt a gush of wind around them when the dark priest began to recite a passage and she couldn’t believe her eyes when she began to see Puzith. Maybe a young Puzith who was just starting out, and his life events began to unfold in front of her. Puzith did many cruel things to get to where he is and that meant making the lives of others miserable in order for his own selfish gain. Decthalia had a hard time processing all of this new information and when it was time to take his hand, she took it within hers and without knowing, she squeezed Puzith’s hands by accident. Decthalia was a nervous wreck and she tried to look around her to see whether her father was in the crowd, and he wasn’t there, but then again, the wind was hard for her to see anything except Puzith and the dark priest.

Puzith took Decthalia's forearm in his hand and gripped it. "Prepare yourself love." He whispered with a glint of amusement in his eyes.

Ethereal golden bands appeared around their wrists; they shimmered like a mirage in the desert and glowed like the stars. Warmth radiated from them, the first source of warmth Decthalia had felt in the castle since her arrival. Two lines connected the bands, and then they began to shrink until the magic touched her skin. It seared into her wrist and the smell of burning flesh and sulfur filled the air. Smoke rose from the wounds on both of them, Puzith didn't even flinch as the process was completed and a seventh marriage binding appeared on his arm.

It looked like a tattoo, written in the old Demon-Tongue, that circled the arm.

"Well done, Decthalia. Now that we are married, it is time for the gifts. It is the first full moon of our marriage, and as such I will offer you a wish. If it is in my power, you will have it."

Decthalia lets out a loud yelp when her skin begins to feel a warmth radiating from it, and then she let a yell; it was quick and short. She whimpered as she looked at her new contract that was seared onto her wrist, but Puzith didn't seem phased by it at all.

Of course, he would, does this man even feel emotions? She thought to herself as she touched over her wrist gently with her other free hand and winced at the pain.

Decthalia heard Puzith speaking about the wishes and she couldn't believe that she was being offered wishes as if she was some kind of child. Could he grant her a wish that would set her free? Probably not, and if he did grant it, it would probably be someplace horrid. Decthalia bit her lower lip as she looked up at Puzith and began to think of what she could wish for. She didn't want him to get suspicious of her, and wishing for something that could aid her in her escape would be nice, but she didn't know what could be of use to her. She's never really had to think of an escape plan until now, and it was hard too. A lot was riding on this for her. The crowd was quiet as they were eager to listen in on what she would wish for.

"I--uh I wish for.... a garden, and not just any garden. A garden that is full of the world's most gorgeous floral and fauna, so that when I look out the window or walk out into the garden, I can feel some solitude welcoming me." Decthalia said to Puzith.

It was an interesting wish, but she knew if she was going to be living here, for the time being, she should at least have someplace she can go to for peace.

"Oh...and please, no unpleasant surprises," Decthalia said to Puzith with pleading eyes. She really just wanted this one thing to herself.

Puzith smiled, an action that looked more predatory than pleasant, and took her hand in his. "How precious that you already understand who I am." He waved his hand and the lights in the hall flickered briefly and a chill overtook the air. The demons that had been in the hall dissolved into nothing, leaving just the two of them alone.

"Follow me, Decthalia." He led her down the steps and gingerly stepped over the body of his previous bride. "Let me show you the trophies of my conquest."

As they walked down the hallway toward her quarters he would point to things on the wall. Busts, statues, and paintings, each of them had a story he was more than happy to tell her.

"You see that statue?" He pointed to a large statue of a woman in armor clutching a sword with curly hair that tumbled down her shoulders and back. "That is Prilla the Brave. Her town tried to send her as my new bride. Can you imagine me being with that horse-faced woman? I turned her to stone and left her in that alcove. I, personally, burned her kingdom to the ground."

A painting depicted Puzith on a pile of bodies, which he told her was when he murdered an entire dynastic family in their sleep and then posed for a painting.

Each of them had a violent and bloody history, and he grew more and more animated as he discussed them with her. They were then finally at her quarters, and he pushed the door open to a room that was vastly different than it had been before. Now the suite she was to live in was well lit with illuminated tapestries on the wall and plush carpeting into which their feet sank. Grand furniture sat open and welcoming for guests. The doors to her bedroom were shut, but she noticed there was now a new bay window on the far wall with a glass door that led to a lush garden that was just as she had asked. An apple tree sat in the corner with a reading bench underneath of it, and a wandering walking path wound past flower beds filled with fragrant and colorful flowers.

"Just as you asked," He said, coming around behind her and gingerly kissing the base of her neck. "No tricks."

“It does not take long to full take in what and who you are...” She said softly and Decthalia carefully watched as the room began to change before her, those that were once surrounding them, were now nowhere to be found. It was just her and Puzith, as he led her away from the center; stepping over his former wife’s body. Decthalia held her stomach with her free hand as comfort when she tried to walk around the dead body.

When she heard Puzith was going to show her his trophies, she thought it would be a different kind of trophie, but when they began to go down the hallway, she saw many statues and paintings. Puzith began explaining to her the first piece he chose, and Decthalia felt herself step back from him, especially when he said that the woman was to be his bride, but he did not take her. Instead, he turned her into an inanimate object, forever a prisoner behind the stone cold walls of the statue. Decthalia felt chills in her body, because everything that he showed her, ever since she stepped foot into this castle, has not been pleasant.

Decthalia didn’t understand how he was so nonchalant as he told her all of these horrific things that he had done. Decthalia began to fear even more for her own wellbeing, and trying to escape Puzith is going to be very hard for her.

The tour came to an end when they entered in a room, and Decthalia didn‘t quite recognize the room until she saw that it fit more towards a feminine side. It was beautifully decorated, and she slightly felt bad for being rude about the room earlier. When she walked towards the bay window to see a beautiful garden. Though beautiful could not even describe the extent of the garden and it had a single apple tree in the center of the garden. This was the most happiness that she had expressed since she been here, and Decthalia felt some kind of sadness overtake her. She began to think it was a joke or an illusion, Decthalia looked up at Puzith, “Is this truly mine? No jokes, no illusions, just mine?” She asked him softly as she looked away for a brief moment at the garden and then at Puzith again.
