Of his own admission, Myles is hardwired for conflict. He fights because he likes to hurt people and believes the weak suffer what they must. To him, every day is a war - someone always trying to take something from him, dominate him or even kill him. He aims to reshape the world in his own image as one of the strong - aftereffects of his American experience. He's strong-willed and likes things done his way - holding no place in his heart for those that fail to listen. He's internally troubled, fighting a war against himself but will never accept it in front of his peers or to himself. Instead, he'll drink his problems away, whiskey being his drink of choice. He tends to make his biggest mistakes when hammered, having absolutely no remorse for anyone and regretting it when his mind clears. He can be difficult to get along with but is personable despite his ego. People that manage to put up with him are strong enough to earn his respect. Myles’ number one goal is to be remembered as one of the greatest and strongest men in history.

Once a soldier of the frontier, Myles Finch served the United States Army with great honor and respect. He was proud to be a soldier, an American hero, and rose in rank through hard work, dedication, and relentlessness - eventually reaching the position of lieutenant before retiring his stars. He was in charge of pushing natives westward to designated reservation zones - part of the Indian Removal Act passed by President Andrew Jackson. Myles had no respect for the Indians, not at first at least. They were weak, beggers, and dead weight in his eyes. He would have gotten rid of them all if he had the power to make the call, but that was inhumane in the eyes of his superiors. When the natives attempted to escape during transport or during relocating to their reservations, Myles hunted them down himself - shooting them on sight, removing their scalp, and bringing it back as a trophy. His methods were atrocious but it instilled fear in those that thought of escaping.

Myles used Indian methods to track down escapees and rally them back to captivity. The Indian soldiers, or warriors, were great hunters and gatherers. They could see things the American soldier would miss - tracks, trails, directions, etc. They had a sixth sense and Myles used this to his advantage - learning from the enemy to use their own tactics against them. His methods however brought forth red flags to his superiors, like his father he would be forgotten by history when he was stripped of his rank and discharged for the horrific things he did to lawfully protected native refugees. He felt betrayed by the American government, seeing his actions as just and necessary. Turned anarchist, Myles used his skillset to track down the superiors that took what he held the most valuable. He killed them all without remorse, letting it be known that he got his revenge. His wanted poster was placed everywhere from east to west, north, and south - the bounty larger than life.

Myles came across Robert L Davis and the Davis Gang at the best of times. Surrounded by sheriffs for the murder of Colonel Truitt and other military personnel, Myles faced his death sentence in a small Tennessee town. God or Robert however had other plans for him as the Davis Gang appeared from the shadows to his rescue. Be it the name that proceeded him or simple luck, Robert drafted him into the gang. Endowed to his savior, Myles worked under Robert until his deathbed. They didn’t always see eye to eye, but there was unilateral respect between the two men.
