Futuristic The Dark Side...Darth Maul and his apprentice

SSJ4 Gogeta

"Ill destroy you"
*A long time ago, a Jedi named Obi Wan Kenobi supposedly killed the Sith known as Darth Maul, only for him to come back during the Clone Wars, 2 years after Order 66, Darth Maul travels alone, wearing his cloak with his hood over his head*

12 year old Ender Tracan had just finished the final duel in the dueling competition. Wiping the sweat off his face, he collapsed on a bench, more exhausted than ever. The young boy had finished dueling a Nautolan girl a few years older than him. She had been much more powerful and stronger than he had ever anticipated. However, he had gotten the upper hand, thanks to his small stature, which had allowed him to dodge her attacks. In fact, it had given him the advantage, allowing him to attack her multiple times.

Watching the judges anxiously, hoping for a victory, the boy took a flask of water and began to drink it at a rapid pace, with droplets of water trickling down his face. As the judges began to stand to announce the victor, the boy stood up from the bench.

“The winner of today’s match is... Ender Tracan! Congratulations!” The judges announced. Ender grinned. Walking up to the podium, he shook his opponent’s hand.
“You did well... But I’m still undefeated,” he said, with a cheeky grin. The girl smiled back, looking a bit ashamed of herself.

After being congratulated by his peers, many of whom were from the Bear Clan, Ender walked down the hallways to get some rest in his dorm room. Although there wasn’t a medal for this tourney, Master Sinube had promised him that there would be a medal for the next tourney, encouraging the boy to participate once more. Swinging open the door, Ender was surprised to see Master Yoda.
“Hi Master Yoda,” the boy said, bowing a bit to show respect.
“Hello young one. Pleased to see you, I am,” Master Yoda said. Ender grinned.
“It’s great to see you Master Yoda!” He exclaimed. Master Yoda smiled a bit.
“Some news, the Jedi Council has,” Yoda replied. Ender smiled.
“The trial results?” He questioned. Master Yoda nodded, before leading the boy down the hallway, to the great meeting room of the Jedi Council.

Ender could his heart beating louder and louder. It filled his eardrums and he could no longer hear anything that Master Yoda was saying. Ender felt a surge of confidence, knowing that he would become a Palawan. Then, he could build a lightsaber, get a cool master, learn other dueling forms and go on cool missions to other planets. He hadn’t really been outside of Coruscant for a few years. His last field trip was to some swampy planet and it had been quite boring. Who cared about swamp composition and the ratio of dirt to mud?

As they reached the end of the hallway, Master Yoda opened a door, beckoning for the Youngling to go inside. Ender stepped inside, feeling the nervousness get to him.

There’s no way I could be rejected, right?

He could feel the eyes of the Jedi Council judging him. He saw the great lightsaber duelists, the powerful force wielders and the wise teachers. Ender just knew that he was going to become one of them. One of the finest in Jedi history.

“Greetings Youngling. Today is the day that we announce your Trial outcomes,” a Twilek male said in a gravelly voice. Ender nodded.
“Please recite the Jedi Code,” a human female said. Ender nodded.
“ There is no emotion; there is peace.
There is no ignorance; there is knowledge.
There is no passion; There is serenity.
There is no death; there is only the Force.” Ender said. The Jedi nodded approvingly.

“And for the second and third task, we have already discussed that you are powerful in the Force,” another Jedi master said. Ender accidentally let a grin escape his lips.
“We have decided upon your fate. You shall not remain in the Order to become a Padawan. Nor will you join the ranks of the Jedi Corps,” Master Yoda said. Ender froze.
“M... Master Yoda, surely this must be a mistake! The Council just said that I am powerful in the Force!” Ender exclaimed, a look of confusion upon his face. Master Yoda shook his head.
“The decision of the Council is final. Unless any Council member decides to rethink this decision, we shall escort you to the Coruscant Academy for Civilians in a few days,” a Yuzzum Jedi Master replied. Ender shook his head in disbelief.

This can’t be happening! I’ve lived almost my entire life on the Jedi Temple on Coruscant!

Master Yoda escorted him out of the room.
“Fear not, you must. Trust the Force, you need to,” he said reassuringly. It wasn’t reassuring at all to Ender.

As soon as he entered the dorm, he felt anger seeping through his veins. Taking a holocron he had borrowed from the library, he threw it at the wall.
“Stupid Jedi leaders. Now I can’t be a cool Jedi!” The boy threw his training lightsaber at the wall, after watching the holocron shatter.
“I don’t want to go to some dumb normal people school... They’ll ostracize me for my cool Force abilities!” The boy continued to throw things at the wall.

Ender did not eat dinner that night. Instead, he waited for his escape. He wasn’t going to some dumb school. Sitting on his meditation mat, he watched the sun slowly fall and watched the moon slowly appear.

Maybe I’m just waiting for my moon to appear....

When the moon fully rose, the boy stepped into the hallway, looking left and right. No one was awake at this time, so no one could catch him. Tiptoeing down the hallway, Ender found his way to the entrance of the Jedi Temple and slipped out the door. Hoping that no one saw him, he ran into the city of Galactic City.

Galactic City was much quieter at night. Ender liked that. The markets were still open. Although he didn’t have any credits, the satisfaction of smelling the different scents of the food made by the vendors. He hadn’t been to the city many times, with this being the second time he had been to the marketplace. Eventually, the stalls began to disappear, one by one, until Ender walked into a dark alleyway. Realizing he was lost, the boy sat down and curled up into a ball, not knowing what to do.

*Darth Maul is on a stealth mission, gathering intel on the Republic*

(Also this happens after Order 66,but this works to)

It had been a few months since the incident. Ender didn’t speak of it. In fact, he was struggling to Survive. He was hungry, desperate. Ender ignored everything the Jedi taught him; they were no more after Order 66. He supposed that his running away had been a good thing, but he wished that he was dead. His stomach would never stop growling and he was constantly on the verge of collapse. His youngling robes were so dirty to the extent the clones never questioned him. They assumed that he had been a petty thief of some sort.

Walking down an alleyway, Ender sensed something. He hadn’t sensed any Force-sensitives for a while, but this presence felt different. It was filled with fear-inducing feelings. The boy didn’t like it one bit.

*Meanwhile, from around the corner, a cloaked figure watches the youngling with must interest... Of course he doesn't have time to train a apprentice, but he puts it in the back of his mind*

Ender turned around. Maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to wander down dark alleys. He remembered what had happened last time; he was beat up and left for dead. Now, there was a scar on his right cheek. It still hurt to touch it. Running his fingers through his overgrown hair, Ender walked away from the alley and saw a cloaked figure. No. He was hallucinating. He hoped it wasn’t a kidnapper. He hoped that they mistaken him for a girl and leave him alone. He didn’t want any shenanigans.

*The cloak figure approaches him, like a shadow*

"It seems your lost"

*The cloaked figure said in a serious hiss like voice, but it sounded slightly, sympathetic*

The boy stopped in his tracks. He couldn’t tell if the statement was friendly or not.
”Sir... I don’t mean any harm,” he said, throwing his hands up in the air defensively. Ender was nervous. He wasn’t one of those assassins hired to hunt down Jedi, right?

*The figure studies his face*

"I am a assassin, but your like me, casted aside"

*The figure holds out his hand*

"Your a youngling, my master took me in when i was young too, but i was deemed useless and cast me aside... You and i are alike"

The boy stumbled backwards, shocking that the man could read his thoughts.
”I... How do you know?” Ender asked, taking a step back and feeling his back slam into a concrete wall.

*The figures red and yellow eyes glow as they stare at him*

"I can sense your fear, come, i won't hurt you"

Ender could see the yellow eyes glowing from under the hood.
”You’re a Sith... You can’t be trusted,” Ender replied, his voice shaky. He bit his lip. Maybe that wasn’t a good idea. His lip was dry and he had cracked it again. Now, a small stream of blood was coming out. Dank farrik.

*The figure kneels down, eye level with him, his sharp and somewhat yellow teeth can be seen*

"You know what i am, and i know what you are, just a perfect way to start things off, don't you think?"

Ender was surprised when the figure didn’t take out a dangerous-looking red lightsaber. Instead, the figure knelt down to be at eye-level with him. Ender could see his facial features better now. He was a Zabrak, his face blotted with a variety of red and black tattoos. He had yellow teeth, sharp teeth that could probably bite his neck off.

”You’re Darth Maul...” Ender said quietly.

Darth Maul:"So you have heard of me, and you know what i did to the Jedi known as Qui Gon Jinn?"

*Darth Maul smiles evily*

Ender thought for a moment.
”Qui Gon. He was a Jedi master, right? Killed before the Clone Wars. I don’t think I was alive back then,” he replied. Noticing the Sith smiling evily, he frowned.
”You killed him, didn’t you?” Ender wasn’t sure if Darth Maul was going to kill him, but it kinda seemed like the Sith was implying it.
“Well, if you’re going to kill me, I look like a mess,” Ender said, gesturing to his torn robes and overgrown hair that made him look like a girl.

Darth Maul:"Well, that could change... If you come with me, but if you run away from me... I'll have to make you suffer like the Jedi that i have killed"

Ender frowned.
”Alright... but there’s always something, isn’t there? Like a caveat or something I need to sacrifice, right?” Ender asked hesitantly.

Darth Maul:"No, in fact all you need to do, is kill the closest person to you"

Ender stared at him, a frown on his face.
”That means I have to kill you. But that doesn’t make sense. You’ll annihilate me instantly.”

Ender stared at him.
”I... My friends are dead. They all died in Order 66... and my family... I don’t even know who they are,” he said, taking a step away from the Sith.
