Main Thread

Welcome to Moonstone Falls!

(check the lore page for some quick info on the town)

Maybe your character has lived here forever
or
maybe they just recently arrived.

Either way, the cure now resides in this town.

Do you want it? If you do, why?
Or maybe you don't give a damn about the cure.

Setting:
June, beginning of summer
Evening, around 8pm
~2018~

"Are you certain you don't want to come with me?"

Kassandra stands outside of her families estate where she is accompanied by her three sisters. They can't help but be finicky, though they do their best not to be. Kassandra was always easily annoyed.

Her older sister places her hands on her hips. "Yes, witches give me the creeps."

The other two speak in unison. "Mom says we have too much to learn still."

Kassandra laughs gently, looking to her younger sisters endearingly. "And she is right."

Olivia, the oldest, steps closer to her sister. She embraces her, and wishes her well on her travels.

A sigh of relief escapes the pink lips of Kassandra as she reaches Moonstone Falls. She closes her eyes as she begins to reminisce about the night before when she was in animal form. The moon shone through the forest trees, though there were no stars to wish upon. Kassandra sensed she was close to the historic town, but before she reached the town limits, a group of forest sprites greet her. They claim they are to sing a song they titled Silver Wolf.

Kassandra sits on a log, and crosses her beautiful paws. She prepares herself for the spiritual gala.

Twirling about, the cute sprites dance and sing cheerfully. "Oh, majestic silver wolf," they chant, "how the moonlight shall guide you to justice!"

A humble citizen of Moonstone Falls pulls her away from her thoughts, and smiles gently. "Hi! Welcome to Moonstone Falls!"

Kassandra brushes off her form-fitting, grey knit dress. Her matching suede boots reach her thighs, catching the attention of many people walking by.

Charlotte had been on the road for hours, almost passing out while driving at one point, on her way to Moonstone Falls. Upon further digging after she heard the initial rumors, Charlotte discovered strong evidence that the cure was currently residing in that small town. She hadn't been completely sure if the cure was the solution to all her problems and, in hindsight, Charlotte should have probably remained at home while she gathered her thoughts on the matter. However, as has always been the tendency in the life of Charlotte Rosen, she allowed herself no time to think and simply packed up and took off for Moonstone Falls. Having spent the better part of the day on the road caused Charlotte to grow weary as she started to regret not taking some type of public transport to get there without such a hassle. Just when she was about to fall asleep, Charlotte's foot came off the gas and her hands fell off the wheel, leaving the car slowly veering off the road, until it bumped into a bush after having lost considerable speed.

This bump awoke Charlotte immediately and she cursed under her breath, angry at herself for allowing this to happen. She got out of the car and walked around to the front, preparing to see a completely destroyed front side. Fortunately for her, all she found was a squished bush and light scratches on the front of her car. That was lucky, glad I don't have to... Charlotte had already begun thinking about the hassle of getting her car repaired in the middle of nowhere, when a peculiar sound caught her attention. Slightly confused, Charlotte turned around to face the road ahead, where she found a large sign and a road branching off of the main highway. She turned to look at the road to make sure no vehicles were speeding her way before she walked across the highway and in front of the sign. Welcome to the Historic Moonstone Falls ...and the good news just keeps coming. Charlotte smiled wide before turning and dashing across the road, forgetting to make sure no cars were headed her way.

Hopping into her car, Charlotte drove in reverse away from the bush, and turned into the highway, crossing quickly onto the road that was next to the sign. After following the road for about 100 feet, Charlotte finally saw the town itself, along with its residents who occupied the busy streets. She drove until she found an open parking spot where she could get out of her car. Once her car stopped, Charlotte opened the door and hopped out, breathing in deeply and exhaling in relief. Regardless of what she found here, she was sure she would have quite the eventful time at Moonstone Falls. I've got to find a place to eat and sleep, though... Through her excitement, Charlotte forgot how hungry and tired she was, so she now found herself in quite an annoying situation, which she needed to solve. She sighed, locking her car with her keys before walking away and into the busy sidewalks in search for a place to sate her hunger.

Selena Zabielski

Location: work
Feeling: exhausted
Interacting With: open
Mentions: open

Selena was ready to go.

She'd been at the bar since it opened around eleven that morning, and now it was around eight PM. Hopefully she'd be cut soon, and could pass along whatever was left of her tables to Marissa, the other waitress for the night. Well, one of them, but one of the few that Selena actually trusted. Despite being young herself, Selena didn't trust most people her age. Up until she was seventeen, though, she hadn't been like that. But watching your family get attacked and being defenseless to help... well, it changes a person.

With a sigh, Selena wiped down the table she'd just bussed. Straightening, she glanced around the bustling bar, but there was no manager in sight. Plastering her best customer service smile on her face, she went to one of the few tables she had left, making sure they didn't need anything before disappearing into the kitchen.

Moonstone Falls wasn't a bad town. Selena was lonely, though, being one of the seven families to guard the cure. When she'd first arrived, Selena hadn't been sure who to trust. She'd guarded the cure with her life, because that's what she'd been instructed to do. But when she had found the other families, they'd sworn a blood oath with each other. The cure went from house to house, hidden, but never kept in one place for too long. They were the only ones to know of its location.

As Selena dropped the rag in the bucket, she sighed again and then made her way back out to the main area. Someone had just been seated in her section. She pursed her lips, then put her smile back on as she headed in that direction.
