Pelor the King Of the Sun.
He Brought with him unparalleled power and the Planet was faced with an ultimatum. Conform or be destroyed. Though many have tried none could oppose his power And the kingdom of the Sun grew to encompass the entire world. For over 2000 years he has ruled, not ageing a day, not changing his ideals, and never have any come close to defeating him. Human, Dwarf, Elf, Orc, Giant, and Dragon alike serve under him being granted great power from within themselves to enforce his will. Many have forgotten what life was like before the sun king. Yet it is not all bad. Never have resources been more plentiful, there are no poor, no hungry, and none are sick. Any ailment can be cured by his enforcers. Never have the people been safer, any bandits or monsters are promptly put down by his enforcers. The world seems to know true peace, even if it is under the watch of a living god.

Yet not all are content to serve him. There exists a cult who through dark magic have hidden themselves from his view. Magic drawn from his sister1456807345257.jpg
His sister Idris queen of the Void. This cult draws power from her to oppose the sun kings enforcers and slowly bring her to the planet so she can destroy Pelor. Those who draw power from her can channel darkness itself and morph into eldrich horrors of immense power. For the first time in history the kingdom of the sun finds itself under a legitimate threat from an enemy who could be anyone...

(Hi guys in this rp there is no limit to the roles available. However only 6 playable races exist. Humans, Dwarves, Elves, Orcs, Giants, & Dragons. You can be an enforcer of the sun king and gain powers from Pelor himself, an Agent of Idris Who lurks in the shadows unleashing chaos on the world. Or even just a normal citizen of the sun kingdom trying to survive the strange world you live in. There are no "black and white" lines here. Each person and faction has their pros and their cons. However it is important to note that no normal person will have as much power as the Agents of Idris or the Enforcers of Pelor. Because this is a combat heavy Rp let it be known your characters can be killed. Also free will is not something that can be taken from someone. Yes you can be ordered to do something, but you decide if you follow that order. No mind control, body contol, or any variation of the two are allowed. Think of it like this, every person has a barrier around their body and mind generated by their soul. This means telepaths cannot control someones thoughts and blood benders cannot manipulate another persons blood etc. Have fun you guys and enjoy)​

The races

While it may not seem like it at first glance the races are actually relatively evenly matched. Each has their pros and cons and are beatable in a variety of ways depending on how you play them. In addition to their natural abilities most races have a latent magic and while it is not unheard of for some to be born a different element than their kin they tend to stick to their element.

Bearing the largest population of any race there are over 360 million humans dwelling in Lamia. They possess the Natural element of Light and are adept at building civilizations quickly and have a high rate of growth compared to the other races. Their natural Ability is called "Rally" and with this humans can call any other human of the same alignment to help them in battle, so long as they hear the call and are willing. While this may seem like a common trait it isn't, guards are much quicker to jump to the aide of a human. Due to their natural affinity to light humans make quite powerful enforcers of Pelor.

With a relatively low population of only about 2.6 million in all of the world elves are reclusive and usually passive creatures with an elemental affinity for wind. They are nimble and agile hunters with a natural knack for dealing with the natural world. An elves passive ability is longevity allowing them a lifespan of up to 1200 years. With this time many elves are masters of a variety of crafts and trades, and elven mages are among some of the most powerful beings alive. Because of their affinity towards wind many elves ride giant eagles and griffins and are virtually unmatched in the air.

Dwelling underground with the second largest population sitting at 216 million. The dwarves have an Affinity for the element of Earth. They possess the natural ability sturdy which makes them quite a bit tougher than most races. They are excellent warriors and craftsman due to living nearly 400years under ideal condition. Dwarven trapmasters have been known to turn the tide of battle with their inventions. However their most powerful aspect is their possession of cannons, blunderbusses, and, flintlock pistols. Technology they refuse to share with others.

Arguably the most dangerous of the races. The orcs possess a moderate population of around 100 million. They are very strong and quite deadly able to take alot of damage before they die. Their natural ability is called "Rage" which allows them to double their impressive strength and ignore pain. They have an affinity for darkness and make deadly agents of Idris. But they dont last long with an average lifespan of 50 years.

Giants bear the element of Water as they were originally believed to have wandered from the sea. They possess the second smallest population but There are two kinds, the 30+ft Cyclops only around 300 of which are believed to still live and the 22ft or smaller "Half-giants" who are believed to have a population of about 500,000 . They possess immense strength and resilience. But most terrifying is their shared immunity to magic. The cyclops are immune to fire and sharp weapons. Their natural affinity for water make them master sailors and navigators, many islands in the Endless ocean are only known to The giants and their kin.

Bearing the element of Fire the dragons they are the least populous and rarest of mortal beings. Only about 1000 exist worldwide. They all possess strength rivaled only by Giants, magical prowess rivaled only by elves, and intellect only rivaled by Dwarves. They are arguably the most powerful race but have a known fear of Cyclops who are known to fell dragons easily due to an immunity to most of the dragons defenses. However the population was decimated by the Crimson fever a plague which caused the dragons to revert to primal lizards and lose their ability to shapeshift and use magic. A plague set on them by Pelor when they refused to bow to his will. Dragons natural ability is to shape shift into any of the mortal races except Giants.
