Name: Aaphan
Type: Beast
Rarity: Fairly Common
Location: Eornian Forests

Summary: The Aaphan is part of the wooded horn kingdom. It lives mainly in the southern Eornian Forests and can occasionally be sighted in eastern Eadith. It is a majestic beast measuring around 2 meters from its withers at the adult age. It is a herbivorous animal with a lifespan of 30 years at most. Its meat is comestible, but not particularly tasty. It is also seen pretty oddly in the Khaddorian society since it is an animal typically used for transportation within the city due to it's elegant and slender appearance. It is a domesticable and loyal animal if trained from birth. Its horns grow in height and do not usually hinder passengers on roads, but occasionally it needs some trimming.

Appearance: The Aaphan is usually black and white, but its color can range from a honey colored fur to brown as well. The surface facing the sky with the addition of the legs are typically darker with strips. A particular trait of the Aaphan which distinguishes them from other wooded horned beast is their mouth. Their teeth are exposed similarly to a skull.[/heightrestrict]

Name: Aesniper
Type: Tree
Rarity: Common
Location: Eornian Forests

Summary: The Aesniper is a very large tree with a red bark. Its leaves are typically shaped as a maple and it's color changes with the seasons. It is found in the forest of the mountain chain separating Eadith and Khauran. Typically, the tree would grow in Eadith but many can be found around Caelfath. It has a valuable timber due to its natural reddish tint and very strong wood.

Name: Jaaghi
Type: Beast
Rarity: Common
Location: Everywhere throughout Khauran
Summary: The Jaaghis spread like the plague – they are incredibly adaptable, changing their fur to match their surroundings, and can sustain themselves on any kind of greenery. If given the chance they could spread through the other continents as well. Although, their kind seems to prefer forests and jungles as their habitat. On average, it lives around 7 years. Jaaghis are usually hunted for their delicious meat and soft fur, but their agility and speed makes them a hard catch.

Jaaghis are very social creatures - they flock in groups ranging from 8 to 30. Only males can be sometimes found as loners. They are hard to tame and impossible to train. It seems food and reproduction are its only priorities. Some Khaddorian farmers grow them in cages so they wouldn’t be able to fly away.

Appearance: Jaaghis can grow up to a meter in total length (50/50 body to tail ratio), while their wingspan is double that. They can be found in variety of colors: black, grey, brown, beige, white and so on. Some of them have round markings that can range from differently colored tips and paws to random spots. Stripy patterns never occur. While their teeth have adapted to eat grass, leaf and bark, they have sharp nails for defense against foes.

Name: Zherva
Type: Beast
Rarity: Extremely rare
Location: Only found in Metsa
Summary: Long ago Zhervas could be found in most forests around Khauran, however now they can only be found in Metsa. They are very aggressive carnivore creatures and Khaddorians know to stay away from their territory. While there’s only a few still living, they can survive for more than a 100 years. Zhervas aren’t very social - usually they find one partner and spend the rest of their life with them. They do tolerate other forest creatures and don’t seem to mind sharing their territory with them as long as they don’t feel threatened. However, they become extremely aggressive in front of an enemy, tearing them apart in a matter of seconds. Zhervas have long-lasting memory, so they don’t forget those who have wronged them.

Back in the day Zhervas were considered messengers of Vunatis, punishing those unworthy of living. But after most of them were hunted out for their priceless tusks and meat (rumors said it had magical healing properties), Zhervas started blindly attacking the intelligent races. Many Khaddorians have been killed by these mighty beasts since.

Appearance: Zhervas are humongous 6 legged creatures roaming through the forest. They are 5-6 meters high and weight from 6,000 to 9,000 kg. Their grey skin is randomly covered in long thin white fur, sometimes with a yellowish tint. They are very muscular and their most prominent feature is the four huge tusks. Their eyesight isn’t the best, but their sensitive noses more than make up for it. Zhervas can tell a creature’s species by that smell, regardless how different it is from individual to individual.

Name: Ka'rishna
Type: Beast (Feline)
Rarity: Common
Summary: Ka'rishna are feline creatures that are used as mounts in places with Khaddorian influence. These feline creatures, however, can be found just about anywhere in the world. They are extremely adaptable, although these creatures prefer to be in climates that are more closely related to jungle terrain/climate. They are aggressive when found in the wild, but are easily tamed when given objects that put them at ease, such as wild fruits and animals. Ka'rishna feed on fruits and animals within areas they are found, but mostly enjoy eating Jaaghi when they can catch them. In the forests and jungles, Ka'rishna can be seen chasing Jaaghi almost hourly.

Ka'rishna are highly regarded in Jorgethi culture because they are of a similar lineage to Khaddorians. Ka'rishna do not normally attack Khaddorians because of their likeness to them, but it is not uncommon to see a Ka'rishna attacking a Khaddorian when they saunter too close to the Ka'rishna's home/nest.

Ka'rishna are normally travelling in packs of 5-6, but can be found alone. Females tend to stick with any male that it may find, although they may not mate for that period they are together. Ka'rishna work off of a matriarchy. The female Ka'rishna are said to hold the power of birth over their male counterparts. Even though males can be more dominant, females are said to be just as strong as the males. If a female Ka'rishna is hurt and whines out, do not keep close to her because Ka'rishna will come running for her in all directions, male and female alike.

Ka'rishna can give birth to at least 3 babies at one time. However, once a female Ka'rishna has given birth, she does not care for the babies outrightly. She still goes hunting with the males and nurses the babies when the rest of the pack is back where the babies are. If the mother is by herself with babies, then she will only hunt what will come within her line of sight from the place where her babies rest.

The Ka'rishna typically have a brown tint to them to blend in with their surroundings, but their fur may vary in color based on the climate they are in. A colder climate may warrant lighter colors, while a hotter, heavier climate may warrant darker, almost black colors. They are incredibly muscular and very heavy. They have a set of long teeth that resembles a sabertooth tiger on the front of their mouths to help pierce enemies and cut food into more manageable pieces. These creatures have a large, powerful tail at the back of their bodies.
