CHARACTER NAME
"Half-bloods shall be terminated!"

The woods seemed to chant his name as he started for the camp. The group of cats that had gone with him to the gathering seemed to remain focus or at least silent for lack of words, thoughts,
or understanding at what had just occured. Furystar, their leader, had claimed war against the other two clans in the name of Starclan. Why? Why did he think that his clan was more worthy than the others? Yes. There was no doubt in Furystar;s mind that Starclan wanted him to restore the clans to their once pure state.

Entering the camp, he could see his clan was already stirring as if knowing that their leader had some divine news to tell them. Jumping upon the russet colored stone that they affectionately called Fire Stone, Furystar called out to his clan.

"All those old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the Fire stone," his deputy, Sunstrike stood dignified, her eyes narrowed as if watching to see if anyone dared not listen to her great leader. He was lucky to have such a devoted deputy and, as he watched his clan gather, he knew he was lucky to have a great clan too.

Furystar waited patiently as his clan gathered before informing them of the news he had to share.

Emberstep

Emberstep stood in the glade as the light filtered through the trees and dappled her red coat. One paw, then another, she moved through the steps like a dance, calling to the power sleeping within her. The hairs on her shoulders crackled with energy, another step, then a leap. The stone she landed on sang as her claws raked it. One solitary spark bolted and suddenly the air before her was ablaze. The fire arced and curled about her, shrouding her form with golden light. The call made her break her concentration and she dropped the fire immediately to vanish as if it had never been.
"They're back." She said softly to herself and wasted no time answering the call. Ember appeared before her clan leader, a respectful distance away and bowed her head.
"What news?" She called, eager to know the outcome of the meet.

Fogstar

Clan: Duskclan
Rank: Leader
Location: Camp

The Duskclan leader walked through the familiar lands of his territory, the tall grass concealing both him and those that traveled behind him. He heard little chatter amongst his clanmates, most of them still trying to register the events that occurred just a short while ago. Fogstar was less shocked, knowing too well the ways of Blazeclan's reckless leader. The leader's eyes narrowed as he stalked onward in silence, his gray pelt seeming to meld with the shadows, as if the darkness was entwining with his own fur. He walked tall, the only indication of his outrage being the narrowed, cold gaze that he gave the path before him.

The events of the gathering were, quite obviously, still fresh in his mind. He had started off his part by claiming that Blazeclan had been trespassing onto Duskclan territory, the evidence being scorched grass that suggested the involvement of untrained apprentices. Perhaps that was what had triggered Furystar's own decision - but than again, who could really tell from such an unpredictable cat? Even Blazeclan's own cats had seemed shocked by their leader's declaration of war.

His entrance to the camp was greeted by warm eyes, which quickly faded to looks of concern and uncertainty upon seeing his expression. They made way for his path to the clan's meeting place, and behind him followed Silverwisp, the rightful deputy.

Clan meetings were held at the center of the camp, and the leader took his place atop the scorched willow stump that marked the camp. Long ago it had been struck by lightning, destroying the once massive tree and charring the bark black. It had taken many days for the clan and the cats gifted with the gales to direct the flames to save the camp. What remained after the fire still stood taller than the surrounding grass, and during dusk it stood like a shadowed beacon to the territory, its form and anyone who stood upon it silhouetted by the setting sun.

The lean form of the leader traveled up the stump, and beneath it, sitting on a large rock settled closely to the Scorched Willow was his deputy. Fogstar straightened himself proudly, the clan already gathering beneath him. "Let all cats marked by the wind and shadows gather beneath the Scorched Willow for a clan meeting." His voice rang steady and confident throughout the camp, and he waited patiently for the rest of his clan to gather.

Rabbitstar
"I will stop the blood shed of cats, regardless of their heritage,"

Her heart thudded impatiently in her chest as her paws found it hard to feel the ground beneath. She felt like, that at any moment, she would fall flat and seek into the depths of just another dream. I wish this was a dream, she thought as she tried to hold strong for the cats that followed her. She was nervous, anxious, and above all else worried about her clanmates. She knew that Blazeclan thought them the weakest and Duskclan thought little better of them. The pebbled entrance was cool and pleasant as it brought Rabbitstar back from her thoughts. This was reality. Her clan was already gathering and Rubytail stood beside her with a nod for her to continue.

"May those that walk the rivers path and touch the earth come to me," she called as she jumped upon the the mossy pile of stones that had become their place for meetings. Rabbitstar's voice did not tremble and her gaze was strong now. Her pride would not fail her and the rest of her lives would not go in vain. She would fight for her clan and protect them from the wrath of Blaze and Dusk even if the stars were against them.

Clan: Blazeclan
Location: Blazeclan

Infernopaw jumped up to the sight of Furystar returning to the clan and now standing up upon the fire stone. "He's back! He's back!" Inferrnopaw mewed as he was almost unable to keep his overflowing joy inside. He jumped up off the small rock that he and his siblings were resting on and rushed his way to the stone with the other clan members. Instead of taking a selected spot like some of the other clan members, Infernopaw used his small form to try and squeeze his way as far in front of the other clan members as physically possible.

As he looked behind him to expect his brother and sister behind him he noticed that for once Cinderpaw and Tigerpaw were having trouble keeping up with him. Of course, they were not ready for him to get up and run off so fast either. Bringing his attention back to what was in front of him, Infernopaw looked up toward the clan leader, eyes glistening and his ears tilted toward the fire stone ready to take in any and all information. He could feel his heart beating a hundred times per second as he almost found it hard to keep still, he was always a bit impatient and full of energy, but he did try his best to behave. It was around then that his two siblings had finally caught up and took a seat on both sides of him. They all then gave a synchronized short but graceful bow to the leader in respect as they waited and listened.

Koisong

Clan: Mudclan
Rank: Warrior
Location: Mudclan Camp

Nervousness nipped at Koisong's heart as she followed a distance behind the Mudclan leader. Her eyes casted downward, her paws struggling to carry her in her dizzying state. She was not the only one trapped in her own thoughts - undoubtedly, others felt the same way as the young she-cat, and she could easily tell by the quiet whispers of those around her. Talks of war, the fear that every warrior and apprentice had for their clan. Some were eager to test their claws in battle. Others, mainly the seniors, were much more concerned, well aware of the dread that followed behind every battle.

Koisong held the same concern that her seniors possessed, though for different reasons. The leaders of the other clans were some of the only cats she felt a genuine fear for. She knew of the hatred that the other leader had for half-clan cats, and could recall stories of the battle with Blazeclan that led to Mudclan banishing a half-blood. If the time came, would she be willing to sacrifice her home to help her clanmates and her clan in the coming war?

Her golden gaze traveled to her leader. The she-cat did not know of her divided blood, but the Mudclan leader still made her feel safe. If anything, she was lucky to have such a strong leader, and Rabbitstar was everything she aspired to be. A proud and fair leader that was greatly admired by her clan.

Yes. Should the time come, she would fight with everything she had, no matter the cost.

Their arrival to the camp was greeted by those who had not attended the gathering, though they seemed to have sensed the mood of their clanmates. Koisong's adoptive brother, Rootfoot, bounded over to his sister in a hurry, his emerald eyes questioning her silently. She replied with a simple shake of her head, then casted a glance at their leader, now taking her place atop the moss stones. She followed the beckoning call with her brother at her side, and sat and curled her tail around her paws as she waited for the news she already knew of.

Spottedwing
Clan: Blazeclan
Rank: Medicine Cat
Location: Camp
Feeling: Nervous

tumblr_inline_oozo48kdVt1ryyn55_540.jpg

Spottedwing wasn't one to provoke a fight, in fact he would do almost anything to avoid such a thing, so naturally he joined the most hostile clan there was. He had just seen all the cats gathering in groups based on skills they had received so he followed the herd. It was only because of his brother, Otterblaze, leaving his side that he sought out something similar to a family. Luckily he hid from the fighting behind the rank of medicine cat but his mistake was that it sealed his fate in Blazeclan. It was far too late to leave.
The gathering had only worsened his thoughts about the clan. War? Spottedwing's stomach flipped at the thought of many injured felines before his paws. It was bad enough that he already doubted his skill of healing. The tom parted his jaws, his mouth as dry as the sand in Green-leaf, and cleared his voice in preperation to speak but as his anxious amber gaze met Furystar's his maw snapped shut. There's no way I can go up against that! His heart thudded at the thought of challenging the tom but he just had to do something. Spottedwing slunk farther back in the crowd of cats with his head drooping. Oh, I couldn't do anything to help anyways! He thought miserably.
