Here it is, wonderfully written by Kylesar1 Kylesar1

An epic Legend tells of a group of ragtag strangers who were gathered gathered at the behest of a strong swordswoman via a simple preposition. Blade for hire.

Ari Waesmor, known as the Black Assassin
Bailey, known as the Royal Seer
Tyr, known as the Barbaric Bard
All brought together by Arabelle, known simply as the Adventurer

From here, she met Bailey and Ari. Bailey, being the king's slave since childhood, and Ari, an arrogant Assassin on a mission to clear his blacklist. Then came Tyr, a drunken bard on the path to avenge the death of his family at the hands of the king and his grand wizard

The group, though butting heads and clashing blades, stuck together all with the common goal of taking down the mad King Valerian. Their roads all crossed and lead them together. They made their way to the capital city of Toron, where the king. They stormed the castle and confronted Valerian and a revelation was revealed. He was a unholy God, Amos. Bent on making the world his through conquest, it was foiled, so he went to end the world by his own hand, stealing Valerian's soul and making him a soulless husk.

The group, dragging his soulless corpse, retreated to a place called the Well to find Amos's brother, Alreos, who was the only one who could defeat him. In an epic battle, Amos was destroyed and peace restored. Everyone was paid riches and glory, then the group dissolved.

Fast forward 5 years and the king, now Alreos, has been corrupted again. The Adventurer requested her group. Bailey and Tyr started their own lives as husband and wife, while Ari kept to his assassinations for his children. They, all dedicated to the One Legged Kingslayer, her intentions, skill, and extreme selflessness, all stopped their lives yet again to go with her after all this time. This was the return of corruption and they needed to fight it again. However, Arabelle being taken by Alreos's servant caused the army to be split in two, one led by Ari, the other Tyr. Once again, they stormed the castle and, with the help of the Lich Knight Ceralder and a powerful draconian named Cross, both of Ari's children Noam and Elaina (only Elaina in the army fight), took on Alreos's elite army led by the squirrel knight Ethan Coleman. Beating the army and the Soul Pit, they confronted and defeated Alreos. It didn't come without its Tragedies though. While Arabelle was captured, she became a victim of Alreos's sick sexual desires and impregnated

Turns out, Amos's work wasn't done. Amos's assistant Khan had utilized the latent power in his soul to weaken Alreos's resolve and then possess him. Khan took his soul and now Alreos's as his own.

Now Khan had both souls and used them to turn himself into the powerful demon King, now powerful enough to finish Amos's work. The Adventurers had to have the help of the Gods. The Wind Goddess Szelanya came to Ari, while Tiresias himself blessed Arabelle with his blade, lightbringer, to slay Khan. Retreating back to the Well once again, the group went to retrieve Lightbringer and then to bring Khan to his end

Now 3 years later, the Adventurers live close by, with Ari and Arabelle marrying and settling with Ari's children and the demigod twins born to Arabelle.

Ari, now known as the Shadow Rose
Tyr, now known as the Musical Hercules
Bailey, now known as the Omniscient Seer
Sakaga, now known as the Walking Fortress
Elaina, now known as Zeus's Hammer
Noam, now known as Nature's Chosen
Ethan, who defected to Arabelle's side after being defeated by Tyr, became known as the Woodland Knight

At its helm still standing was Arabelle, still known as The Adventurer, a name so simple yet holds so much glory that a new name never took off

It seems as if the group has retired from their lives as warriors, with Ari taking care of all 4 children and teaching clientele,
Arabelle trying to recover both physically and mentally
Tyr working as a blade for hire while Bailey takes care of their child Alex
Sakaga living with Ari and Arabelle at their manor
Ethan starting an entire fortress called Redwall inhabited entirely by animal warriors called the Woodland Knights.

Locations:

Loudwater- A small town where the biggest building is Waesmor Manor, Ari's house built with his massive fortunes that came from his assassination days as well as the loot acquired from confronting both Amos and Alreos (then Khan). This small town is the midway point between 2 major cities and 3 more smaller towns, so it's a trader and caravan heaven. People can make an honest living here if they don't want to live in a big city with all the noise and industrialization. The population is fairly small and with widespread fields, allows for agriculture and cattle farming. It's a versatile place to live.

Toron- The capital of Ravinia and the location of Castle Ravenskull. It's the most technologically advanced, industrialized, and guarded cities in the country. Toron has a massive population and job opportunities, as well as many many shops to buy things you won't find anywhere else. The shopping here is expensive, but very exclusive, with lots of military and royal gear passed down from Royal Warriors and royal wizards. There's a good chance that, if you see a trader or merchant, they're headed here. Annual festivals, tournaments, and educational opportunities for children and adults alike make this place very very expensive to live, not for the faint of wealth.

Faylen
107047.jpg
Ellasin Sal, Or Faylen in laments term, is the Elves homeland. Laying to the southeast of Rivanna, it's large nation of vast forest, rolling hills, and gentle mountains. Picturesd above is the border between the two lands, and past the two statues, humans are rarely allowed. Other races while allowed free entrance, but must be knowledgeable of the many laws that revolve around their visits. Throughout Faylen, there are many towns, villages, and even the areas nomadic tribes are found, but the most noteable places will be listed below.

Das Mah Hal
c68ddf834ad30c573c514f292b525384--paisajes-anime-fantasy-landscape.jpgDas Mah Hal is one of the most notable towns and landmarks in Faylen. The site of the final battle of the Great War nearly two hundred years ago, the two bridges are all that remain of the original town. Sitting above a grourge that proved to be the humans fownfall, the bridges mark are seen as representations of the Elves resilience. The twin it's self is sleek, yet reflects the style coming of the ancient elves. There are many shops, inns, and parlors, but only two taverns.

The Gates of Dirthara

The Gates of Dirthara are what's left of the first Elven city which has over hundreds of years, been taken over by the Orian sea. These gates mark the ends of a long journey for the Elvish trading ships and navy.

Falon'Din Monestary
5c2286cbcc619bd28d6be552292e935b--fantasy-world-fantasy-places.jpgThe Falon'Din Monestary is a place of great importance to elves, few outsiders ever see it. Many of its buildings while sit abandoned, are taken care of the the monks who live there, and study the old tomes that line the libaray's halls. Rarely are outsiders allowed to enter, but tjose who do are graced with hospitality that you may not expect from the reclusive elves. The tomes under their protection are ancient, going back to before the time of Faylen's founding.

Lathbora Viran
06d6beee43ba6c78fee1f4eb41e2cde8--fantasy-winter-town-city-fantasy.jpg
A large city over looking the Northern border of Faylen, Lathbora Viran is a militaristic powerhouse, in a constant state of battle with the Orcs who live past the Frozen Plains. The greats elvish warriors and mages usually train at the either the fort or college located in the city. If you want to find the best Elven smithing, you look here. They've developed techniques that rival the dwarves.

Tel'abelas
5bfe4582cbd26bd74979dfc4341b05d6--fantasy-art-landscapes-fantasy-landscape.jpg
The magnificent capital of Faylen, Tel'abelas was founded after the Gret War, once the elves and their teifling allies fought the humans back onto their own lands. The city is a wonderful display of magical engineering and technical ingenuity. It's the largest city by far, hundreds of shops, taverns, inns and much more, yet the palace is the the most impressive. A large, extvangant building that serves many differnt purposes. The most important if course is housing the royal family and all their affiliates, including the current High Prophet and her family when they visit.

The Iron Roses

Iron Rose Crest

The Iron Roses are an elite mercenary group that accepted any and all if they can prove themselves worth investing in, regardless of any birth factors like race, color, gender, etc. The Iron Roses have everything from traditional warriors to archers to necromancers to battle priests, and everything in between. They participate in many many operations, usually in groups of at least 5. While the Iron Roses typically only take in those who are skilled in combat, they also take in non-combat specialists like Stableboys, blacksmiths, doctors, cooks, combat advisors and trainers, seamster(stress), tailors, as well as merchants to sell their loot. They use many types of units and have been around for 100s of years. They're a very organized group with a lot of might behind them. Their warriors are ferocious, their assassins efficient, their archers dead-eyed, their loyalty to the death. They've been hired for many many military operations from supplying weapons to augmenting troops to full blown Iron Rose assaults.

The testing for the Iron Roses is dependent on the job. Either way, though, no matter what job, the test is BRUTAL. Even the stableboy job is insane. When in the Iron Roses though, you're in one of the best mercenary groups for thousands upon thousands of mile radius. They look after their own and place the well-being of their brother/sister roses above their own. Their a giant family, and never try to keep someone in if they decide to go pursue their own goals. When you make a name for yourself, you're always welcome in the Iron Roses

The most notable operations the Iron Roses were in include Operation Ice Storm, which was a night op sky pirate mission to fight off a night ambush of a large troop moving through a mountain range. The troop was escorting the Queen's convoy. The Airship came in when a mountain blizzard hit. Despite this, they provided support to turn the tide of the fight and begin a pushback. Iron Rose Troops either fired from onboard the ship, or the viking and Fire and Ice Mages dismounted into negative degree low visibility blizzard to pushback and then destroy the enemy troops in a frontal offensive

Ari was in Operation Ice Storm, as an Archer. He didn't stay on the ship though. He dismounted and jumped into the fray. With a giant Lexi flaming and lighting the way, It allowed Ari to show off his archery prowess. When the enemy started pushing back, he got his daggers out and went to work up front as a flank. As the frontal assault went on, and the Iron Roses took on enemies and Lexi was the main focus of the enemy troops, Ari would be stabbing enemies in the back, a classic diversion assassination. With Lexi being considered a weapon of mass destruction and Ari's ease of stabbing in the exact right place to drop an enemy, Ari was considered a powerhouse in that fight and it ended in them saving an otherwise hopeless fight that would end in the Queen's death
