Name

Alias

Age

Appearance

Real FC or Realistic Art only.

Nationality
They can be from any nation you want, but if you are coming from a far away place like Cathay, Nippon or the Ind, need to include a good reason for why and how they ended up this far west. The only nationalities I am not allowing to be played are Amazons and Chaos Waste Tribes [Like the Kurgan. You may play as a Norscan though, if you so wish] just because they are bit more complicated and don't translate quite as well into this format.

Gender

Sexuality

Former Occupation

What were they before they came to the Border Princes?

Princedom
What is the name of your keep? Does your character have a title they have stylized themselves with? A name they are calling their princedom or just using the name of the keep in place of that?

Terrain Type
You will be given three terrains, in total, but you may pick one here. The other two will be rolled randomly from a table and include less ideal terrain like a swamp. Mountains and Coastal cannot be together, so keep that in mind. The four you can pick from are Coastal, Plains, Mountains and Forest.

Faith
Are they religious? What deity, or deities, do they worship? If you worship something you don't wanna broadcast [Like, say, a Dark God of Chaos], you can PM that to me to keep it a secret.

Personality

Equipment

What equipment are they coming with? Their equipment should fit their background and occupation. If you want to start with a magical artifact, need a good background reason for that [Be sure to PM me first to tell me your idea for both the reason and the item]

Starting Soldiers
Tell me about the starting troops your character arrived with, if any. Note the general rule here is the more you have, the less quality you should have. You can tell me their 'name' if the unit, or units, have a name, what equipment they have, what they specialize in, etc. If you don't want to do that, you can just say: Many, Low Quality or Moderate Number, Moderate Quality or Small Number, Elite Quality or none and leave that up to me to assign it to them. The quality covers both their skill level and gear. I will assign them numbers based on how good they are. This is just starting soldiers, you are free, and encouraged, to grow your military to deal with threats, or expand, in the future.

Background

Notable NPCs

Any notable NPCs that I should take note of? A second in command? Any family? Children? A spouse? An advisor? Feel free to leave this blank if you want these people to emerge as the story goes.

Extra
Anything else you wanna establish or tell me.

Former Occupation
Physician and Alchemist from the Altdorf Alchemists Guild

Princedom
Wyrdstone Keep once was the seat of a ambitious exiled noble of Tilea, until a warpstone meteor smashed into its heart and killed the noble. His followers scattered though some remained in the township below the keep. The people renamed the place Wyrdstone for the meteor which freed them from the noble's rule. The region is thus called Wyrdstone for its keep and the danger of the meteor. Otto Platz kept the name, having come for the meteor to use in his mad experiments. He brought with him those who swore to serve him for receiving healing and the promise of power that he might grant them.

Faith
Otto once was a follower of Shallya until her faith turned on him for daring to fix the flaws of humanity.

Personality
The Doctor personality tends to be calm and calculating, a methodical man whose survived his life as an alchemist by refining those traits. He favors words over violence and generally prefers to let others do his dirty work when he can. If he becomes stressed sufficiently though, it will trigger his metamorphosis into The Beast.
The Beast personality is Otto's dark side made manifest after he has tampered with his own body to develop his arts in improving upon humanity. The Beast is ruthless and potentially violent while still having Otto's full intellect on hand. The two behave more like siblings, arguing in mirrors or notes left for one another but they unify against any threat to their shared vision of a new humanity.
The Doctor tends to be the dominant personality unless a situation is intense or dangerous enough to require the Beast take charge until Otto is safe. They alternate at times as well though they also will take potions to extend which personality remains. The Beast is shameless in having hidden stashes of its elixir to remain in control at times when they're arguing.

Equipment
Otto brought all the alchemical and medical supplies and equipment he could muster before he was chased out of the Empire by a rather determined Witch Hunter and his followers. Otto has set up his lab in Wyrdstone keep's dungeons to avoid it being damaged by a siege and to ensure quick access to capture test subjects.

Starting Soldiers
The Gifted (Elite) - Men and women who have sworn themselves to Otto, body and soul. They have received extensive alterations and warpstone infusions to make them smarter, faster and stronger than normal people. They tend to stand taller and sport more powerful physiques than normal humans. Their bodies are covered in surgical stitching hinting at extensive changers. Their eyes are green like warpstone, sporting sharp teeth and forked tongues. Generally they've taken to wearing leather for mobility but some are experimenting with heavier armor.

Background
Otto Platz grew up in Altdorf, the son of a Barber Surgeon who wanted his son to be so much more. His father paid for Otto's training as true Physician, but Otto fell in with the Alchemists Guild as well as he found the uses of potions and other alchemical workings to heal or improve upon the human body. For a time, Otto made a name for himself as a charitable and kind healer of the poor, charging only for supplies unless his client was wealthy. Wealthy clients sought his services for his expertise despite his mingling with the poor. It was only after some time the Otto started to consider the limitations of medicine even with alchemy in its current state.

What followed was what most point to as Otto's fall into madness. The good doctor started to seek deeper knowledge of alchemy and heard tales of beasts born of alchemical arts more advanced than what the Empire had. It was the first whispers of the Skaven, the rat men that all were told to be simply a myth. Otto's desire to help his fellow man pushed him to look deeper and found shock as he found instances of plague linked to rat men sightings. Beyond this then came the tails of rot monsters of immense size and power seemingly sewn togther or 'built' into great weapons of war. In his mind, the good doctor wondered if such knowledge could be turned to make improved people.

This investigation earned the attention of Hector Tanzer who threatened Otto with charges of witchcraft if he kept looking for such things. Otto was forced to grow more secretive as he found the musings of alchemists and wizards the Empire had hidden away on the workings of this hidden threat to the Empire. He started to test theories, smuggling in and using shards of warpstone on people, engaging in mad surgeries and organ harvesting form those he deemed as donors to his work. His first works he tested on himself to be sure it would work and The Beast was born. This monstrous alter-ego allowed Otto to hide his involvement, doing all the more brutal and monstrous acts his healing arts demanded. He refined his own condition and stole more knowledge from hidden repositories of the Alchemists Guild and Gold Order.

Hector Tanzer had not relented in his scrutiny of Otto and finally was convinced the good doctor was the infamous Beast of Altdorf that was killed and ripping organs and flesh from its victims with medical precision. Hector hounded Otto and dragged him into a public trial, turning hte mob on the man whose healing was too good for a mere doctor. The people turned on the man who had treated and saved many of them and Otto lost his control. The Beast emerged and killed those who got in his way, fleeing into the sewers of Altdorf, stealing all the gear and equipment it could before fleeing from the city. Witch Hunter Tanzer followed with his men, hounding Otto out of the Empire even as the Doctor gathered hapless followers to his side by healing them and offering a promise of a new future.

This band of followers fled into the Border Princes, turned away from various towns as Otto found people willing to obey and follow him for healing. Otto used his time traveling to gather more supplies for his alchemical and mad workings. His final pieces was Wyrdsone Keep. Otto went there, using his followers to drive out some local bandits and declaring himself the master of the region as the Great Healer. Under this alias, Otto vanished into Wyrdstone keep with his followers for days on end before he emerged... and larger, more impressive and powerful followers came forth though in fewer numbers. These are his first Gifted and helped him establish the area fully as Wyrdstone.
