Personality:
Hana has a keen interest in unusual or bizarre crimes, without which she rapidly becomes bored, relying on nicotine to keep her brain active, although in the past she has dabbled in illegal drugs for entertainment, such as heroin.
Hana's most noticeable trait is her pronness to boredom. She is constantly agitated by the lack of work, describing peace and quiet as "hateful". Even if a case is offered to her, she won't take it unless she finds it sufficiently interesting. In the absence of case work, she will go to extreme lengths to keep herself occupied, even turning to drugs in more extreme situations. Alex has a major manipulative streak and will often take advantage of people in order to get her way.
Hana seems to have a sense of humor, though it is very sarcastic and can be quite dark. She is amused, most notably, by the stupidity of others in comparison to herself.
Even though Hana keeps herself in excellent physical shape, she is known to have very bad eating habits. She is often shown enjoying greasy, fattening or otherwise unhealthy food, especially cheeseburgers and pie, and dismisses salads as "rabbit food".
Personality as a serial killer:
When she has caught her victim, her personality allows her to flows freely with those who she can truly be honest with: those on her table. She's often energetic in these encounters, smiling and laughing, while questioning her victim's morals and why they do what they do. Originally believes that she cares little for the people around her, but, as she develops ,the acts caused by the criminals become very personal to her ; she appears to downright hate the evil in killers that target the innocent (especially children) and takes great pride in wiping them clean off the earth. The true reason Alex kills her victims isn't to wipe clean the evil from humanity, but to "watch the light leave from their eyes."
Backstory:
Hana's real name is Alina Douglass. She was born in California to a single mother in result of a summer love in her college days. Her mother tried to make ends meet, picking up whatever task she could.
Her mother was very religious, knew every word in the bible. She was also mentally ill: bipolar, schizophrenic...
When Alina was six, Her mother came into my room late at night, putting her in one of the white gowns that she wore to church.She kept telling me that Alina was sinner, that she was possesed, that she needed to be baptised for her sins. So she lead her to the bath, filling the bath up with cold water, Placed her inside then kept putting her head under the water. Alina kept trying to catch my breath everytime allowed me to gasp for air...She sang gospel songs while she did it. for the rest of the night Alina was too afraid to go to sleep in fear her mother would try to do it again.
Her life changed when her mother killed one of her boyfriends by shooting him in the head after falsely accusing him of cheating. The blood spilled on the floor. The neighbors called the cops, her mother was then arrested and put into an asylum.
she was taken by two men after who said they were taking to a better place only to be lead to a filthy basement full of malnourished, sad and scared children. That room was part of an academy/orphanage whose main goal was to train children and make them become soldiers and lethal weapons, Name by the government as department Z.
This is where she was trained in combat and espionage at the covert facility. There, she was bio-technologically and psycho-technologically enhanced to best fit the needs of the assignments.
Into the academy, she excelled from all of the other children and swore to protect her soon to be friend, Ethan, who was the target and victim of other children’s abusive behavior. They eventually an significant brother-and-sisterlike bond until he was deemed as useless to their superiors.
When the Iraq war ended,The academy was shut down and all of the children were released, given Zeta Interacting Protein, and sent to foster care, except for Alina after it was discovered that she was too dangerous to have a normal life even with the memory erasing drug. Often showing phychopathic symptoms.
Instead she was taken in by a man who went by Charles and becomes a part of the CIA-funded, top-secret, off-the-books program, "B-613", with five others. In this program the achieved a lot of things including they killing 3 world leaders and making it look like a heart attack. In this program they only went by nicknames and hers was .
At one point, Alina's enjoyment of her job began to disturb her and unfortunately after three years of operation the program ended. because of the nature of her connection with CIA, her past connections and everything she had was taken from her.
So she changed her name to Hana A. Jackson and started to create a new life for herself with the power of a computer. She then took up the job opportunity in hell city as an officer becoming close to her partner Fredrick Dupois. Until they was a shoot out that resulted into his death.
Hana became reslestless, attempting to find the killer. A couple of weeks later, she was asked to do a search in a home owned by Malcom Floyd in one of the sectors of town. They found drugs, plots, and above all a gun that was used to kill her ex partner. When she presented it to her authorities, they told her it was a fruit from the poisonous tree. Therefore not admissable to convict the man.
After months of loss of sleep by how corrupt the system was, how horrible men and women were able to get away with murder while the victims suffered. She decided to put the situation into her own hands. She put her old gear on then went back to the home. It had a unique theme of black and White but the must alluring for a particular reason was the white roses in the vase.
The Malcom turned out to be a gifted human and gave her a good fight, she couldn't remember much. Only the fact that she was on top of him and stabbing him over and over again. When it was all said and done, she started to clean up the scene. She laid the body against the wall, holding the same banquet of roses that were now drenched red with blood with the word on the wall. "Justice ".
The pictures were brought to her the next day, no one suspected her, concluding that it was someone involved in the drug trade. Hana then left her job as a cop and started a successful private detective agency.Thus the killing began.
