"Hello, we are the Admin." For what feels like the first time, you hear a computerized male voice echoed through the darkness. The voice seems light and cheery, and spoke in a British accent. Before you appears a face in a ghastly aura, glowing pale blue in the darkness; a visage staring at you blank, expressionless. It seems to be made of nothing but lines of a grid, appearing almost as computer circuitry. You have heard and seen nothing but darkness for what felt like an eternity, and are shocked by what has appeared before you. "Welcome to the Beta. We are happy to see that you have successfully awoken. I'm sure you have many questions. Before we get ahead of ourselves, we must say Happy Birthday." Its lips disturbingly made no movement at the slightest utterance.

Before you can manage a reply, images begin to materialize around you - a grey fog that penetrates infinity; above you is pure darkness, and you seem to be walking on dark grey clouds. Wherever you step, a pale blue glow fades in and then fades out as if someone were shining a light through a pane of glass. "Once you are fully uploaded you will materialize in the world of Aether. Please take some time to become acquainted with your new body. Others will be joining you soon." The face fades before you can ask any questions.

Suddenly, the same pale blue grid lines the face was composed of generate before you, rendering the shape of various hills, cliffs and trees in the distance. You hear the sound of rushing water, and appear in a world more beautiful than you could have possibly imagined. An ocean of sprawling trees and reaching evergreens as far as the eye can see; creeks, rivers, lakes, and ponds dot the landscape. Birdsong can be heard from nearly every other tree, and beautiful butterflies varying in color flutter by your face. It seemed like paradise. "Welcome to Aether. We hope you enjoy the Beta, and thank you for your participation."

Apollo Elio
Location: Unknown forest
Interactions: N/A
Vitals: Healthy
Mood: Confused

Apollo found himself in a wonderland. He stood in a meadow; flowers of violet and rose dotted the green fields of grass flowing like water in the wind. and before him was a lush forest - an ocean of trees dotted the landscape as far as the eye could see. He appeared to be facing west. To the northwest was a flowing river, and to the north, jutting razor teeth of mountain peaks. Birdsong filled the air, and bees whizzed by his face as butterflies fluttered following them. "Welcome to Aether. We hope you enjoy the Beta, and thank you for your participation." The voice rang out in the air once more. "I guess there's nowhere to go but forward..." Apollo said to himself. He began his first steps into the world of Aether. As he stepped forward, a light breeze pushed his hair back. He looked up toward the simulated sun. It was warm, just as he would imagine the real sun would be - not that he could really even remember what that was like. Still, somehow he was familiar with the sun, and that familiarity was peculiar to him.
Apollo looked down at his feet as he walked. Grass crunched beneath him, and he could feel the long grass brush his pant legs. That was when he noticed he was wearing clothing. He was wearing black pants, and a blue and white, plaid, flannel button-up shirt. He was wearing black leather boots that went up his leg that his pants were tucked into, and they were tied at his shins. On his right wrist was a light blue bracelet that had bright blue lights on it. "What the hell is this thing?" He thought to himself. He knew it had something to do with the Admin. Apollo stopped in his tracks. "Hey, um, Admin?! Are you there?! Where am I?! What is this thing on my wrist?! What am I doing here?!" He cried out. No response. He sighed and continued walking, making his way toward the river bank. "I guess I'll follow this along and see where it leads... Civilization always springs up along rivers." He rationalized.

Aeros Spade
Location: Abandoned University
Mood: Hungry
Mentions: N/A
Aeros sat outside with the nice warm sun. He rested his back against a tree trunk, he sat with his legs criss crossed. He was nose deep into his book on animals. He was about half way through it, he hadn't tried reading his other book yet. Aeros's mind was being filled with the knowledge from this book, he smiled as he read, it made him happy to be reading. His reading session was sadly ruined by the sound of a rumble. Aeros tossed his book to his side and looked around him. He got onto his toes and grabbed his spear. He squinted as he looked upon the bright fields. The grumble came again, and Aeros stomach ached. He sighed as he stood up and poked at an apple on one of the branches hanging above him. As he poked he stuck his tongue out slightly, gently biting it as he concentrated on trying to drop the apple. He nicked the stem of the apple cutting, he dropped his spear and cupped out his hands grasping the apple when it made contact with his hands. He smiled and took a bite. The juice from the apple rushed into his mouth and the sweet, nice taste brought a smile to his face.

Aeros grabbed his spear and walked over to the trunk of the tree, he shoved his books into his satchel and threw the satchel over his shoulder. He carried the spear with two hands as he walked back to the building where he found his books. He counted every 15 steps and shoved a stick into the dirt. He didn't go too far but it was better to be safe then sorry. It took 198 steps to get back to the doors of the book building. The sun was setting again. He found his way to his normal room and put his satchel down on the ground, he took out his extra shirt that was ripped, and laid it on the floor. He was about to lay down but as he bent over his stomach gave him the signal that he wanted more food. But it was too late to go back out now, he was already back to his building. Luckily he had killed a rabbit yesterday and saved it. He grabbed it off the floor in the corner. He took one of his extra sticks and rubbed it against the books until it started to smoke. He moved his hands to circle his mouth and he blew onto the smoke lightly. The spot was glowing an angry orange, it was nice to look at. He learned how to start a fire from his book, it was on chapter 2 page 13, how to cook rabbit. He was lucky to have found this book.

Aeros grabbed the dead rabbit and squinted while a cringe shot him as he shoved a stick through the length of the dead rabbit. He held on the longer end and hovered it above the smoke and charcoals. He slowly spun the stick in his hands until he could see the meat slowly turn a brownish hue. According to the book you didn't want to take it off when it turned brown all the way around, you wanted it to be a dark brown all around so it cooked all the way through. So he waited and twisted as the day came to a close. He waited what he thought was 10 minutes and took a bite out of the rabbit, it was a nice savory taste with a good texture. He wanted to make it better with spices but he didn't have any. It was kind of bland because of this, though it was better then only eating apples and picked berries. When he finished eating what he could around the bones and fat, he threw the stick on the pile and grabbed his shirt wailing it around in front of the fire until it was only quiet embers. He then laid down resting his head on his satchel pulling his shirt over him for more warmth. He fell asleep approximately 33 minutes after he laid down. He tried to count but he fell in and out of sleep, losing track.

Name: Jason Pele
Location: Cave
Mood: Hungry and Tired
Mentions: N/A
Jason looks around the vast landscape. He seemed have spawned in next to a river after a little bit of basic exploring around the river and getting a grasp on what is happening he decided to that his best course of action was to find shelter close to the river so that when he needs water he wont have to travel long. Luckily after afew hour of searching he stumbled across a Cave that was only 10 minutes away from the river. And as he entered the cave he let out a long held breath seeing that it had nothing in it yet it went just far enough to be a suitable camp.
After a little bit more exploration around the base area of the cave he realized that the sun would be going down soon and he needed a fire. Realizing this he went out into the forest and gathered kindling and sticks and brought back to the cave. The sun was practically down by the time he finally got the fire started. It was too dark to try and find something to eat and he didn't want to just leave his new fire to burn out so he forced himself to sit tight all night and try and find something to eat tomorrow. He didn't sleep well that night knowing that just anything could wonder into his new found home like he did.
