The beta sat silently within camp, feeling the icy morning breeze slip through his silky fur. His pelt was pure white at this moment, he was calm, and had no reason to waste energy on having his ability active. Plus, he didn't particularly enjoy when a young pup or naïve wolf tried to touch him while his ability was active, as it often resulted in a wolf with a injured ego.

He chuckles softly, reminiscing on how he can use his ability to break up skirmishes in seconds. While his alpha didn't particularly agree with his tactics, they were quite affective. In the regards to how one of his electricity strikes can nearly put a yearling grizzly on his rump, that is.

Fuzen watches as the sun begins to slowly rise over the trees and mountains within the distance, causing the sky to be painted various shades of pink, orange, and red. With a sigh, the beta raises himself onto his rather large paws, before beginning to head towards the exit of camp. He had decided he would make rounds on the boundaries, given some wolves have been getting involved in skirmishes with Mountain Pack wolves. They often tended to leave the beta be, a wise choice. If they didn't acknowledge him, he didn't acknowledge them.

The electric wolf steadily makes his way towards the border, inhaling the soft scents of the morning. This setting often gave him bliss, which would soon be ruined by another wolf sooner or later.

The large black wolf sat outside the exit of camp, allowing the gentle breeze to dance through his pelt. His crimson eyes were closed, his large ears perked forwards. Shadows seeped from his pelt in soft meditation, listening to the sounds of the morning creatures rising. The world around him was peaceful, until the sound of paws nearby drew him out of meditation. The shadows retracted back into Virgo's body, just as his eyes open. His gaze falls on Fuzen, who seemed perfectly capable of handling himself.

Without a second though, Virgo closes his eyes once more. Inhaling the soft morning scents, and listening to the creatures around the pack. Birds whistled their morning greetings, while squirrels and rabbits began to pull themselves from the safety of their tiny dens.

Suddenly, a ew sound rakes Virgo's delicate ears. He flinches, the pool of shadows around him retract once more. The sound was quite a distance away, yet when mediating, the sound seemed to only be merely feet. The sound was a tree being forcefully ripped from his roots, hitting the ground with a heavy crack. Virgo growled under his breath, what could possibly crave to destroy the beautiful trees. Granted, this was far out of Mist pack and Mountain pack territory, yet the threat was still eminent.

The Medicine wolf laid in her nest of moss within her den, her beautiful tail carefully folds over a smaller nest within the den. The nest was soft and still warm, yet empty. Ayka groggily opens her cyan blue eyes, blinking away sleep. She sits up in her nest, looking around her dark den. Her den was calm, the sound of water dripping from the hole in the roof of her den echoed softly. She walks over to the small pond near the back of her den, the water is clear and icy cold.

After lapping up a few drinks, she decides to head out. She swiftly carries herself out into the forest. She was headed towards the border, there she would be able to find plenty of herbs. She walked along silently,  careful not t disturb the chattering birds above her head. For a moment, she inhales, and catches Ryka's scent. She knew the young she-wolf was by the cliff, which didn't bother her at all. Yet it may bother the alphas, as they didn't like when the younger wolves went out alone.

Ayka makes he way to the border, before arriving at the freshly marked area. She carefully makes sure she doesn't step into Mist pack territory, as she begins to sniff out herbs. She quickly finds mint on almost directly on the border, yet it was more on her territory. She gently begins to pluck the foul leaves, being sure not to break them with her teeth or taste them on her tongue.

Fur of immaculate snow dripped with icicles, patches of ice forming underneath large paws as Alpha Tael sat with such a stillness that one would think he were that of a statue. The only sign of life was the occasional flick of the ear. He caught the sound of a crow cawing in the distance, singing of torn trees, and the sound of pups scrambling around on the main grounds. He watched his land, his family, atop the largest and tallest rock that looked over Mist territory. Although he couldn't see where his territory ended well, the treeline far too tall, he watched nonetheless. He'd sit there upon the rock for hours, silent and alert, as per routine. Although it involved solitude, a feeling of isolation of which he hated, it was peaceful. The rock was his and his alone, and it was the only place where he could see the most of the territory.

Yet hours of sitting and watching ate at him. Hunger broiling up within, exhaustion gnawing at his senses. He hadn't eaten a meal in a few days, and sleep was hard to come by. However, after watching Fuzen wander off and vanish in the thick line of trees, Tael decided to rest. He turned, rough paw pads scraping on patches of ice that he had absently made. At the movement, the icicles that dropped fom the tips of his fur shattered and broke until only glittering fur of white remained.

He jumped down from his perch, its structure made of other rocks of various heights and sizes that spiraled like stairs around a singular, sharp rock. Mentally pulling back his cold abilities, he allowed his gift to become dormant and his temperature to rise slightly. It had happened before, where a careless pup or groggy wolf had walked into him while his power was active and at its normal peak. It was never pleasant as he'd almost froze the wolf upon contact.

She laid with her head between her front paws and her body curled away from the others. Kyomi knew the others no longer pitied the she-wolf and most were fed up with her constant grieving, but they would never understand. Her duties as a fighter did not entice her since she longed to feel the wind as she hunted, but she could no longer do that. It had been a long time since she was able to touch prey without it turning spoiled from her saliva and so she was banned from hunting to protect the pack. The Alpha had praised her on her powerful new abilities and how it could help bring destruction to the pack that turned their back on them, but she only saw it as the murder of her cubs.

Kyomi sighed before curling deeper into herself as she tried to fall asleep, but she never manages to really sleep fully. Ignoring the buzzing, she closed her eyes harder.

Yue mumbled to himself about his low stock as he quickly sorted through the herbs. He could hear the pack outside to hunt and patrol, but he needed no part in that. Lifting his muzzle from the scent of herbs, he looked around for Akira. He hadn't heard his apprentice, yet and wondered where she might be. She was much older than him and he wondered if she found it odd to be ordered around by a wolf two years younger, but Yue did not care how she felt. It was his job to provide aid to those around him and it was the only job that he had been destined to do with his weak body.

Looking around, he pricked his ears for Akira as well as keeping an ear open for his non too pleasant brother, Etu. He grumbled slightly about always having to look for others before exiting his den to look for Akira.

Akira Whitehart

Akira was pleased with herself and the gift she had caught for yue. A small, fat little beaver hung limp between her jaws, blood leaking from it's stomach into her mouth. Oh how she wanted to devour it herself... But she had more restraint than that. As she neared his den she looked around.

That was yue's smell.

Had he left to go gather more white willow pods?

Curiousity got the better of her, making her lose all thoughts about devouring the hunk of deliciousness in her jaws.

"yue?..." Her words came out muffled as she proceeded to stick her head into the wolf's den.

Sorry im so slow. im in two lengthy roleplays.

It was as if he was a living shadow, perched atop the rock that protruded from the ground and made such a great spot for a den beneath. The great expanses rolled out before him, from the great waters far away to the sands of infinity to the forest that he wanted to see burned to the ground. Now, it'd be obvious to anyone in his pack that the Alpha was irritated. A low light eminated from his scarred face, steam rose from his breath and his eyes were fixated on the forest. The forest where the traitors were collected.

He'd been sitting there for close to half an hour when he finally let out his trademark howl - one that sounded more like the roar of a monster than a wolf - and let out a tall pillar of fire from his lungs. The roar echoed throughout the landscape as he pounced down from his rock and started circling the pack's primary meeting place, a patch of sand in-between the cliffs. "Korvus! Come out and join me, I feel the urge to kill something."

The Alpha quickly leapt up onto a rocky peak to be more visible from around the territory. "And bring Kyomi along with you! She can't lie around anymore."

Clara had gone out on her morning run for some food. Not only for her but for the pack just as her role stated. Clara was the leader of the Hunters but, she has yet to have any members so she takes it upon herself to get food with pride because lets face it, she's on her own with no one to bother her and no one to push their way into her heart. Enough of that, Clara was moving towards where the pack had been settled down, dragging a large male deer across the ground with her jaw latched tight around its throat. Dragging the heavy body with ease. Being the leader of the hunters meant that they had to be stronger than the rest and prove that she was the perfect leader for the hunting wolves. Sure, sometimes her Job got hard, but knowing her stubborness and persistance, she will do what she can to get a kill and bring something home. Never would she return till she got a meal for everyone to munch on. Sometimes, if she was lucky enough, she'd bring at least 3 prey a day. Again, if she was lucky enough.

As she continued to drag the meal, her ears picked up the sound of a loud Howl which only sounded like a monster. "There he goes again..." she muttered, knowing it was the Alpha as she continued to tug and drag. Once she made her destination, she released the neck of the deer before releasing her own howl which was the food howl before she looked towards where she seen Charon as he hopped onto his rock and called for Korvus and told him to grab Kyomi. Clara didnt think much of this, not to mention he was in the mood to kill some thing "You should proabbly eat first." she called out to the Alpha before she turned towards the way she came "Back to work I go." Clara said softly, her tail swaying lazily behind her as she began to lose herself in her thoughts Now that I got a deer I think it's time I look for something else... But it has to be decently sized for us to eat. An Elk would work but the last time I did that I got hevily injured. Stupid horns... Far deadlier than a normal male deer. Oh well. I could always try again. After all, it's my job to keep the pack fed. a big weight on her shoulders for sure but... Clara delt with it and didnt mind having this job.

Clara didnt feel like going out and randomly going out for kills. Besides, that ment... bonding and she very much didnt want to bond. The wall she had placed was there for her own reasons. One of them being that she didnt want to bond. Never did she want to. If she had her own pup, of course she'd want to bond with the pup but otherwise, she made herself a loner.  Anything to keep away from the pack. To avoid conflict and to avoid crushes.

The large beta takes his time as he carefully makes his way to the border of the two packs, it was his duty to keep the scent markings strong. He finally arrives, and begins to strengthen the scent markings. He was quite handsome, and he was quite muscular in stature. Fuzen inhales, and catches the scent of a Mountain Pack Wolf. He twitches his ears, he could tell it was a female and not to far from the border. He turns his attention away from the woods on Mountain Pack territory, and continues on his way down the border. The beta was only able to get a few steps away from the border when he passes a young tree, its branches were thick yet it wasn't mature just yet. Strangely, the tree had metal cans hung from the branches, something Fuzen hadn't noticed. That's when Fuzen's left hind paw steps in a small pile of leaves.

A soft click reaches the beta's ears, and he attempts to snatch his paw back. Yet he was to late, the wire tightens around his paw and begins to cut into his skin. Fuzen growls loudly, pulling at his paw. Yet the more he pulls, the more the tree trembles and the cans tied on the branches ring together loudly. Fuzen pulls harder, yet the wire only tightens and begins to cut his paw more.

He growls loudly, he was about to turn and snap the wire with his teeth, when he hears the roar of barking. His ears become perked, and he looks toward the tall hill of his territory. Five hunting dogs are bounding down the hill, they ere quite large. Fuzen growls loudly, and pulls his leg in final desperation, et the wire refuses to snap. The dogs were getting closer now, frothing at the mouths, and their hunter wouldn't be far behind them.

Fuzen's pelt suddenly becomes streaked with golden yellow, as his ability is triggered. Electricity sparks from his body, the grass below his paws becomes burnt and singed. Fuzen's eyes glow, his lips drawn back in a snarl as he waits for the dogs to come closer. Then Fuzen notices a small white pup run towards the border from Mountain territory, before freezing up when she sees the dogs. "Pup! Run, Pup! Run! Hurry!"

Virgo had been meditating once again, just outside the exit of camp. The area around him was pooled with shadows that seeped out of his pelt, it dusted the ground like black snow. Virgo twitched his ears, the sound of canines made his pelt begin to bristle. Not only was he taken out of meditation, the sound of barking was within the territory. Yet he couldn't go alone, he must tell his alpha.

Without a second thought, Virgo carries himself into the center of camp. He looks around for a moment, his crimson eyes gliding over the camp swiftly. Then he finally spots Tael, he was leaping down from his perch upon the stones. The guard approached his alpha quickly, "Tael." Virgo says in a gruff voice, bowing his head for a moment, before rising back to meet his Alpha's gaze steadily. "I caught sound of dogs near the West Border, how would you like to react?" He was not going to attack the canines if his alpha said not to, he refused to go against his orders. If the canines were after deer, it could possibly threaten their food supply, yet the dogs would not be after the wolves. Then Virgo remembered something, and it chilled him to the core. Fuzen had left not to long ago for border patrol, the dogs may be after him.

The medicine wolf carefully made her way back to camp, her mouth full Borage leaves, Mint, and Feverfew. Her lips her drawn back slightly at the strong scent, her tongue was pulled back within her mouth to prevent her from tasting the rather bitter herbs. She had just entered camp when she is startled when Charon bellows a monstrous howl.

Ayka growls softly, the fur along her spine standing on end with irritation, her ears drawn back. If only there was a herb to cure a wolf of grouchiness.. She walks across camp, and swiftly enters her den.

She gently places the herbs on the cold stone floor, before beginning to organize them. She carefully separates the herbs, before placing them in designated piles on the farthest wall. This wall was lined with many herbs, ranging from Burdock root and cobwebs, to Stinging nettle and Death Berries. She had memorized each herb, the dosage needed depending on wound, and their use. She was quite intelligent, yet was seen nearly useless due to not being the strongest wolf within the pack.

Suddenly, a howl rings through the territory. It was Ryka, and she was in danger. Ayka hurries out of her den, she looks towards Charon, and the others who must have heard it as well. "Ryka is in danger, why don't you kill whatever is after her, Charon." The medicine wolf snaps. Without order, Ayka takes off toward the exit of camp, the sound of hunting dogs echo through the territory. Panic rising in her belly, the pup she had rescued could end up as a hunters pelt at any moment.

The young she-wolf had wandered a little farther than the cliff, eventually finding herself near the border. She trudged through the thick forestry, until the trees begin to thin and she is able to see a Mist Pack wolf. She was incredibly large, and his fur was a glittering white. She watches as he passes a tree, only a few years old. Suddenly, he steps into a trap and his hind paw becomes trapped by a wire. She takes a paw step out of the tree line, deciding to help him. The wolf pulls at his paw, causing the cans hanging on the branches to crash together loudly. That's when the eruption of dogs barking nearly gives Ryka a heart attack. She was young and had never seen hunting dogs before, she was after all only six months old, and newly an In-training wolf.

Growling, she bounds out of the clearing. Her paws carry her to the border, and her golden eyes widen when she realizes the brute size of the dogs. They were much taller and muscular than the young pup. She whimpers, frozen in place as the canines approach her and Fuzen with terrifying speed. "Pup!" Ryka was snapped out of her trance, "Run, Pup! Run! Hurry!" Fuzen was barking at her to run, and she did without a second thought.

She takes off back into the thick forestry, she was headed for the cliff again. She looks behind herself for a moment, and terror strikes her like lightening. Two of the five canines were chasing after her now. She whimpers and pants heavily, unable to howl for help from her pack. She runs as fast as her young legs could carry her, her lungs and limbs burning. The trees thin out, and she arrives back at the cliff.

She slides to a stop, panting heavily. She then hears the growling, and whips herself around. The canines slowly approach her, their lips drawn back in a snarl. Ryka lifts her muzzle to the sky, and releases a beautiful, incredibly loud howl of distress, and it echoes throughout the territory. Suddenly, one of the canines lunges for Ryka, causing her to shriek in terror. She snaps her jaws, backing up in fear. The canine slams into the small pup, causing her to slip off the edge of the cliff. She whimpers, as she rolls down the steep edge of the cliff, before a small edge stops her. She whimpers, sitting up and looking over the small jutting edge. Below he was the raging river that had swept her away from one pack, and she whimpers loudly. She looks above her, the canines were watching her, trying to devise a plan to get to her and kill her.

The ledge cracks slowly, and Ryka presses herself against the Cliffside. The dogs barks at her, frothing and whimpering, attempting to get her. Ryka tips her head back, and howls again. Her doom approaching quickly, she could only hope her pack was approaching quicker.

Clara was already out of the Mountain Pack's camp and was heading off for her hunting once more. That was until she began to pick up the various sounds of barking and loud clinking noises which caused her ears to perk up and move around to where she heard the sound better "That doesnt sound good." she stated, instantly running off in the direction where all the commotion was going on. When she knew she was close enough, she stopped in her tracks, activating her ability and looking much farther to see a wolf with snow white fur with streaks of yellow. He didnt look anything like the males in the Mountain Pack. Actually, never had she seen him before so he must have been a outcast or part of the Mist Pack. Then she noticed the trap he was stuck in which only caused more noise as he moved. Then her blue eyes shifted to where dogs were heard, Hunting Dogs. Just her type of enemy to face when she felt like it. Deactivating her ability, she went racing towards the trapped wolf as she caught the words of him yelling at a pup to run. A pup? That wasnt Mountain's pup...right? She sure hoped not! If it was... Things were going to get crazy.

Just as Clara got to her destination, she checked to check how far the dogs were. Sadly they werent very far and didnt give her much time to free the trapped wolf "Stop moving you idiot. You keep making noise the more you shake your leg." if this wolf was an enemy, she had no intentions of letting him die to something like this. It was too much of a cheap kill. So she moved to the wire and avoided any piece that can hurt her and tried to chew on it to no avail before she had to stop short and turn towards the two hunting dogs which came charging. So she blocked their way from the wolf and bared her fangs and snarled as they neared, her hair on her back standing up and getting in posistion to fight back. She had a good warmup from her kill earlier, this was gonna be bad for these dogs and she was going to do what she could to injure them enough.

(If the wire was easier to break,  I will say she managed to break it and told him: "Get out of here! I'll hold these runts off.")

A far off sound brushed his senses and his ears flicked in recognition. The sound was muffled, far off, and barely noticeable yet from its volume, Tael knew. Borderline to the east. Nevertheless, he could not tell from what. Then it happened again, resounding within the forest and cutting into his hearing. It sounded like... barking. Sharp, deep barks... he stepped down form the last rock just in time to be confronted by a sentry yet his ears still turned to the sound. "Yes, Virgo," the alpha greeted, looking over the wolf with a monotonous stare. At his words, Tael's temperature dropped. A wicked cold settled over him, the grass beneath him freezing at his touch. Dogs were an incredible nuisance as they typically didn't favor the law of the land or of the wolf. Not to mention, they sided and favored man of all creatures. Icicles dropped at the ends of his fur as a realization came over him. Fuzen, hadn't he seen the stocky beta wander off to the borderline? Then again, he was tired... so then, perhaps he saw things?

"We will round up the guards. Investigate. Remember, words before violence," Tael said, forcing a calm over the worry that boiled up in his belly. It was likely a pack of feral dogs, something they dealt with every blue moon. Words tended to calm their arrogance; however, if the dogs were rabid or hunters... he sighed. Violence wasn't something he favored, but if it came to the safety of his pack - even his annoying beta - he'd have to change his methods for the day. "But first, roll call. If we happen across a battle field, we best know if we have allies." He also wanted to make sure Fuzen was okay. Tael arched his neck, lifting his head, and howled. His breath came out in an icy mist as the call of attendance rolled around  the trees, vibrated against the earth. The song was short, wavering at the end before falling to a whisper. At its end, a tidal wave of howls replied. Tael counted each one with admiration, never had he gotten tired of hearing his pack's songs. Yet, as he suspected, Fuzen's didn't reign. "Come, now." His order was swift as his paws dug into earth, leaping off toward the border.

He ran with a silent and deadly swiftness, powerful limbs tearing up mud and rocks as his feet left a withering ice trail. His stride abruptly faltered, front paw slamming against a rotted trunk, when he overheard Fuzen's bark, "Run, pup. Run! Hurry!"  It brought forth a growl, the idea of such an innocence being endangered ruffled his fur to no end.

Rounding the sound of obnoxious barking from the dogs, he reached the scene right as an unknown wolf turned its back to a trapped Fuzen. His paws skidded briefly, claws raking up clots of dirt, as he drifted to a turn and caught sight of the dogs. Yet, he saw no sign of a pup. Shaking his head, he ran to Fuzen, ignoring the stranger. "Fuzen, are you well?" He sniffed the beta, only scenting blood at the wolf's paw. Good. Fuzen would survive for a while longer although his ego may be hurt. Without waiting for his beta's reply, "the pup, you saw a pup? Where is it?" Tael glanced to the stranger, feeling their powers begin to radiate from their body. The idea to join them crossed his mind, but he soon shook his head of that as well. Virgo and his guardsmen would come and aid the stranger. "Where did the pup run off to?"

((Apologies hope I caught up!))

Yue twitched his ears back. He had walked a little bit away from his den before hearing his name being called by the wolf he had been looking for. Akira seemed to be looking around rather confused unable to scent him due to what looked like a beaver and the fact that his scent was everywhere in that den. Walking up, silently, he approached the older wolf.

"Akira. You have returned I see," he was about to say something sharp, but noticed the fresh kill. It appeared that she had went hunting this morning, so he found it hard to really be irritated. "Nice beaver," he commented, though his tone was dry. "I guess you can be forgiven for not being around this morning as long as you brought that for me," Yue felt his stomach slightly growl. It would be hard to hunt for herbs with an empty stomach.

Talvaxious

Pack : Mountain

It had started out as such a  pleasant day in the eyes of the elder.  The stream that branched off from the river near his den was well stocked with fish and at this point of the season it was shallow enough to wade in without feeling as though his paws would turn to  blocks of ice. Talvaxious had managed to break off a few fish from the school that was making its way toward the larger river and coax them into an even shallower area of the stream where they had easily been snatched from the water and devoured. The whole process had taken little time for the experienced wolf and he was happily finished the last few fish off when Ryka’s distress howl reached his ears. It wasn’t just her either. There had been too many foreign scents riding the winds that  morning and the elder had been waiting for everything to escalate figuring it would only be a matter of time.

He heard the screech of a hawk circling above him before he heard the echoes of the barking hunting dogs. Looking up from his meal he took off in the direction the hawk was flying. From the sounds of it, it seemed there was a  small pack of hunting dogs in the distance near the great river. Following  a branch of the Great River that ran lazily through Mountain pack territory Talvaxious pressed on as fast as he could.

A few minutes later he reached the area of the great river that Ryka’s howl had echoed from and cursed to himself at the sight of the cliff. He slid to a stop far below the ledge he could see the pup on.

“No wonder I heard her howl so clearly. She was higher than me. Damn that pup and her unquenchable thirst for exploration” he let out an eerily raspy howl that the entire Mountain pack would recognize as his own to let the pup know he could see her then followed the hawk with his eyes as it circled above the pup issuing a series of distressed  screeches itself before disappearing once more. “Damn it, That doesn’t sound good either. I’m too far away” he scolded himself as he spun sideways and followed the base of the cliff into the thick forest. He knew the area well. If he ran far enough, there was a more gentle slope that he could traverse which eventually lead to the top of the cliff. His claws dug deep and muscles rippled and burned  as he began to ascend to the top of the cliff. As the elder crested the top of the cliff, he immediately caught Clara’s scent along with Fuzen from the Mist pack and another scent, possibly  one of Fuzen’s  pack mates. “Hell I’m going to need another meal after all this running” he sighed to himself and bolted towards the scent of the three wolves.

Although his primary concern was for Ryka, Talvaxious could not ignore the fact that two Mist pack wolves were there and it would only be a matter of time before others responded to Fuzen’s call which meant that he and Clara would be outnumbered shortly which could prove very bad for the Two Mountain Pack Wolves even with his fighting prowess. Not to mention the three hunting dogs near Clara as well as however many more were above the ledge Ryka was stuck on.

Talvaxious caught sight of a hunting dog circling the outskirts of where Clara’s scent was most concentrated and growled as he barreled full speed into the hunting dog’s side. It yelped painfully as ribs cracked then rolled over a few times before slamming into a nearby tree with a heavy thud where it laid still. Without breaking stride Talvaxious drew up  behind  a second hunting dog to the side of Clara and pounced on it , sinking his powerful jaws into the back of its neck as the two animals fell the the ground in a cloud of dirt and rocks. Talvaxious rolled then redirected their momentum tossing the smaller hunting dog to the side before pulling himself to his feet in a huff. His eyes slid to the two Mist pack wolves for a moment then he stirred his power as he locked eyes with the other hunting dog as it bared its teeth in preparation to attack Clara. The elder's killing intent rose so much it was almost palpable and the hunting dog froze in fear. “What are you waiting for Clara?” Take it down!" he said dangerously. "Ryka’s stuck  on a  ledge behind us. We don’t have time to spare.”

The moment after he'd called for his companions, and entirely different character showed up dragging a deer. Clara was an honourable wolf, a fine hunter and an amazing spotter. But she was lonely, and chose solitude as a defense. You could see it in the way she burried herself in work, using it as an excuse to keep to herself. Charon observed these little details, but wasn't the character who'd do anything about it or even bring it up. He had his own ways of building a wall, she had hers.

Before she departed once more, she called out to Charon, offering for him to eat. Since she was already leaving he didn't bother responding, but he didn't want to eat anything. Food made him feel sluggish, and he usually only ever ate before sleeping.

It wasn't long after Clara left the camp that Charon started picking up distant noises. Howls, like of dogs? His ears perked up and he shifted his gaze towards the forest where the hunter had just gone. Multiple... four... no, five. A pack of wild dogs, most likely. Hunters around here usually didn't have an entire group of wolves with them. Or maybe they were getting tired of their wolf issue.

Suddenly, a beautiful cry made his fur stand on end. It was Ryka.

Ayka appeared out of her den and shouted "Ryka is in danger, why don't you kill whatever is after her, Charon." Before running out of camp towards the sound.

"Yeah."

The word came out like a rumble, then the powerful muscles under Charon's hide shifted. He shoot off as if fired from a gun. The glow on his forehead and in his eyes increased in his sprint, and with every exhale his chest rumbled as if he was a monster. In little more than a moment he was rushing through shrubbery and moss, taking in the smells and sounds of the area around him. He could hear the dogs in the direction of Ryka, and smelled Clara somewhere off to his right. But there was something more... A smell like of copper, like there was a impending storm in the skies. It must be... Fuzen, the Mist beta.

The Alpha almost stopped his charge and turned when the realization struck him, but instead he grit his teeth and continued. Ryka was in more danger, Clara could handle herself... and he couldn't let his hatred cause him to leave Ryka on her own.

Ryka must've been in the direction of the cliffs, for that's where the cry had come from. Bone and tendon, muscle and blood all pumped beneath Charon's skin increasingly strong, and heat was starting to build up around him. Small sparks of fire and reddish hues all started popping up around him, like a cloud the extreme heat that surrounded him started growing.

The trees thinned out and he could see two dogs at the edge of the cliff above the river. Had they already thrown her down? He wondered, as he bared his teeth and growled so heavily it must've felt like the ground shook. It took him little over a second from the edge of the forest to the first dog. Using his momentum, weight, and the cloud of energy that followed him he tackled the dog and sent him several meters into the air over the edge. It's fur was lit ablaze, and it's howl haunted the hills until it was silenced by one of the many sharp rocks beneath.

The second dog recoiled, but it was too late. Charon twisted and dug his teeth deep into it's throat, taking such a deep bite that he could hear it's spine break in a satisfying crunch. It whimpered, and he pushed it's head to the ground until it's violent spasms subsided. The Alpha backed up and let out a sigh. He'd barely broken a sweat, but killing always had a strange fatigue following close behind. Suddenly Ryka's howl rang in his memory, and he rushed to the edge and looked down.

Though he'd never admit it, a great wave of relief washed over him when he saw Ryka. The feeling was short-lived, as he noticed how weak the rock under her was. In an act of stupid bravery he immediately jumped down beside her, took her neck in his mouth, and jumped back up again as the stone beneath him crumbled. Due to the terrible footing, he only barely manage to throw Ryka over the edge and claw his own way up as the rock splashed into the dangerous water far beneath.

He let out a great sigh of relief, then looked to Ryka. "You shouldn't be outside our territory on your own, don't ever put yourself at risk like that again."

Mood - Defensive -> Anxious (in a bad way)

As the dogs came closer, she was ready to attack before hearing a loud but young howl. Instantly her mind thought of the young pup, after all, she didnt see her when she was at camp so it was possible she was in trouble. The elder of the pack had come and snapped her from her worried thoughts and watched as the dog pounced. As much as she hated to be pounced, it was one way to take advantage as the hunting dog jumped on top of her, knocking her on her back. Taking her hind legs and kicking the dog off with so much force and sending him flying into a nearby boulder. The loud screech that came from the dog indicated that she broke some sort of vital bone. Getting up from the ground, she walked over, her growl still emitting from her  throat. Despite the dog being down and with broken bones, it dared to snap at her to which she snapped back and latched onto his neck, snapping it with ease and allowing the body to slump lifeless into the ground. "That's what you get." perking her head up, she tried to listen for more danger. Which indeed she picked up.

Taking the time of an opening, she activated her ability, looking to see how close the hunter or hunters could have been. Sadly, they were coming and running at a decent pace. Deactivating her ability, she rushed back to the trapped wolf, despite another wolf being there and got a good grip onto the wire before pulling slowly to avoid more noise and speaking through gritted teeth, she said "Pull on the knot around his foot, it'll loosen it up so he can get out. Dont dilly dally! Hunters are coming and they're not too far." the wire was actually hurting her teeth but being a hunter, she was able to bare the pain that came with it. Her ears were on high alert, trying to listen out and luckily she managed to hear a bit of the cliffside which wasnt too far and heard her Alpha talking with the small pup. "Talva, the pup is safe so dont worry. If anything we should be more worried about the hunters coming for us." moving her ears, she picked up the hunters still coming and they were getting closer "They're not going to be happy once they see some of their dogs are dead." Clara gritted her teeth some more and pulled slightly just to see if it would give a little more loseness to the wire around the White and Yellow-furred wolf's foot.

The beta could feel the voltage increase, his fur now sparking and his eyes glowing as they drew closer. There were only three now, as two had run off for the pup within Mountain Pack territory. Suddenly, a female from mountain pack stands in front of him defensively, before telling him to run back to his camp. This forces a growl from Fuzen's throat, before he growls fro behind her. "I'm not leaving you here. If anything, you need to help that pup that ran into your territory." he says firmly.

His ears perk once his pack rings out howls, yet he knows not to howl in return. A few moment later, his alpha bounds through the foliage. "Yes, I am well." He bows his head for a moment, his ears erect. "There was a small white pup, she came to help me but when she saws the dogs she froze. She ran back into Mountain Pack territory, but two of the hunting dogs followed her." Fuzen's eyes held worry, a pup couldn't hold off two trained hunting dogs. The dogs were very close now, their stench was strong.

Before Fuzen could leap into battle, an elderly wolf came from Mountain Pack territory, and began to brutally attack the tame dogs.

The final dog lunged for Clara, protectively Fuzen lit up with electricity. The tame canine shoved Clara down, only to be forcibly pushed off and thrown into a sturdy boulder. Clara quickly finished the canine off with a firm bite to the throat.

Fuzen turns his head and begins to tug violently on the wire with his fangs. The wire scraped and cut at his tongue and gums, before finally snapping with one final tug. While the wire was still tightly wrapped on his paw, he was free from the tree now. His golden gaze lands on Clara, his ears twitch slightly. He gets his muzzle close to hers, his natural scent drifting and mixing with hers. He made himself quick, "Thank you." he says softly under his breath, he bows his head as if he came only to thank her, yet he continued to speak while doing so. "Meet me here when the moon is at its highest, so I can properly thank you." with that he raises his head, standing mighty. He also lightly bows in the direction of the elder who had came along, before turning and rushing back to his alpha.

"I believe it is time to go back to camp, alpha." Fuzen says softly, turning his head to look toward the hill where the dogs had came from. The hunter was close, his foul scent was strong in the soft gusts of wind carried towards the wolves.

The female hurried through the forest, headed for Ryka's second distress howl. She was sprinting as fast as her paws could carry her, tree branches whipping her muzzle.  She finally comes to the forest edge, she bounds through the foliage. She gaze lands on Charon, who had arrived before her. When the mighty alpha moved aside slightly, Ayka's gaze fall on Ryka. The young pup was cowering slightly at Charon's paws, clearly shaken up. "Ryka!" Ayka yelps, hurrying out from the forestry. The snowy white pup was clearly shaken, and rushes toward the medicine wolf.

Ayka sits on her haunches, using her paw to push Ryka against her soft underbelly. Ayka shoved his muzzle into the pup's fur, as a mother would to comfort a distraught pup. The medicine wolf raises her muzzle, her cyan blue eyes meet Charon's crimson ones. Her gaze was kind, "Thank you Charon, if you hadn't gotten to her.." Ayka's voice trails off, and she looks back at Ryka, who had buried her face in Ayka's belly fur.

"Thank you, Alpha." The medicine wolf says softly. Ayka had been one of the only wolves who never addressed Charon as her alpha, whether it was due to respect issues or perhaps she just never saw the point in addressing him as such.

Tael fell to a defensive stance as he stood in front of Fuzen, protecting his Beta in case any dog managed to slip past the Mountain pack wolf. All the while a hissing mist lifted from his fur, ice mixing into the hot air. Violence was not something he favored, but if it meant protecting his own... the ground froze underneath his paws in the breath of a second. He watched as Clara took a beating only to turn right back around on the domestic dogs, and when he caught scent of a second stranger - one who reeked of Mountain just as Clara did - his icy mist slowly dissipated. With two wolves distracting the arrogant mutts, he could take to aiding his beta. He turned, catching Fuzen activating his ability abruptly to help Clara. The action from the prideful beta caught Tael off guard, electricity making his fur stand on end until the icy layer on his fur returned.

Fuzen pulled the wire from the tree successfully but still wore a token of the trap around his paw. The action of teeth was unnecessary, Tael could've easily frozen the wire over to the point where it would have snapped off with a mere twist of the paw. "Here," he ordered as he allowed the coldness within him to gather and focus on his front paws. Brushing a paw against Fuzen's wired leg, he caught the wire on ice upon the slight touch as well as forming a frost on Fuzen's fur. When he withdrew his paw, he gave a breath, and the channeled temperatures repressed. "Although I would like to make sure that the pup is indeed all right," he turned to face Clara and the elder, "I believe it best to part ways. The hunters are much more dangerous than their dogs." He bowed slightly, but kept his gaze level and his tail held high, "Thank you for aiding my beta. I pray that the moon will keep you both safe from the hunter." Raising his head, he watched as Fuzen stepped past him and rub up against the female. In a show of thanks surely, but knowing Fuzen... Tael looked away, his gaze wandering to the hill at the sudden breath of wind. The gust that pooled into the forest sent a foreboding stench from that hill.

When Fuzen returned to his side, speaking of departure, he quickly agreed. "Yes, I left Virgo to gather up warriors at your call... but I got ahead of myself. It seems we may still need the collected aid of our warriors though. Come, who knows what choice the hunter may make. We cannot leave our pack vulnerable." He gave one last look to the two Mountain pack wolves, nodding to them in an additional gesture of thanks before darting off into the foliage once more.

He ran as quickly as he had before, leaving a trail of withering ice in his wake. Claws dug up earth and he leaped over broken branches and rock, zig-zagging through the maze of trees until he caught sight of his rock at the centre of the territory.

Ayka seemed to be in shock, which honestly made the Alpha uncomfortable. He didn't know how to react in situation like this. Luckily, but a moment had passed before Ryka had arrived from out of the woodwork. Ayka got up from just in front of him and ran over to her compensation for a mother, and the Alpha sat down on the ledge where he'd been standing. The bright blue eyes of the medicine wolf wandered over to Charon's own, a happenstance that seemed out of place, but Charon remained composed and calm. Ryka had never seemed to like him, and he'd grown accustomed to it by now.

"Thank you Charon, if you hadn't gotten to her.."

Without moving an expression Charon silently met her eyes. Her gaze broke off and moved down to Ayka who'd snuggled up to her. Instead, Charon chose to observe the forestry behind them.

"Thank you, Alpha."

"..." He wasn't sure how to reply, so instead he let the silence be a message of its own. There was an unspoken respect to Ryka from Charon's side, although most of the pack seldom seemed to respect her. She saved lives, and had worked her skin to bone for the pack. He wouldn't forget that. So he got up from his position and walked over and slightly past the two reunited wolves. "We best be going, the wind tastes of hunters. Their rage is something we could do without."

Then he turned his head and looked back to Ryka. "... And of course. She's kin. Come on now."

Talvaxious

Pack : Mountain

The elder wolf let out an audible sigh at the thought of what may have happened if Charon hadn't shown up when he did. Although Telvaxious was suprised at the bow offered from Fuzen he managed dip his head to return the Mist Beta's gesture of respect. Their was but a brief moment of tension as other Mist wolves showed up but soon Fuzen was freed and the Mist pack disspipated returning to whence they came.

He growled slightly in the direction of the hunters' scents as Charon stated they could do without the conflict that was soon to follow. In all the elder's years he had yet to meet a hunter worth trusting. They all were the same, hunting wolves for their pelts and out of sheer sport, it was appauling and cowardess in the eyes of the seasoned warrior.

He leveled a wary eye upon Ryka, stern yet some what understanding. his voice sounded gruff and weathered "Ryka, how do you fair? I am sure it's not every day that you face such troubling circumstances...but then again..." he sighed then continued " I would spare  a moment to lecture you of your carelessness,  but I fear it would simply fall on deaf ears child so alas, I will restrain. Do yourself a favour and listen to your Alpha. Once the hunters arrive we might not be so lucky!" his eyes moved to Charon than back to Clara before comeing to rest on Ryka and with a final nod of respect, Talvaxious circled the group then dissapeared into the forrest once more and was soon on his way back to his den.

'It was a relief that the two packs decided not  to clash back there' he thought to himself as he darted through the forest. Perhaps there was a small possibility that they were finally on the verge of putting the past behind them. The elder wished to believ that with all his heart but there was just no way to know just yet. Time was a vicious entity after all, crude, and un- predicatable.

Clara didnt expect Fuzen to get into her personal bubble after being freed. His muzzle getting close to hers and mixing their scents, which to her was kinda bad due to the fact of being in a different pack and her Alpha was quite the scary one when angered. When he thanked her, she gave him a soft nod and listened as he continued to speak with her, telling her to meet him here when the moon was at its highest so he could properly thank her. It sounded like he was going to be the type of wolf to flirt with her and try to get close. This irritated her a little bit and she nodded "Sure." she said flatly. Her eyes shifted to who she assumed was the alpha since she was saving 'his beta' "You're welcome." she said as the wolves began to take their own seprate ways, so did she. Though she ran towards the cliffs where she saw Charon, Ayka, Ryka and Talva. They all seemed relieved that the pup had lived and Clara was relieved herself, to know the only pup in their pack was okay. "Charon, Ayka. Hunters are on their way, we need to get moving." she told the fellow wolves "They're not too close but they're close enough for me to see. They're not taking their time coming here either." even though Talva had his own words in, she had to make sure that the Alpha, healer, and pup knew that they had to move, and fast.

The large beta silently approaches the edge of the forestry, inhaling deeply. The scents of night made his nose tingle, and caused the white whiskers on his muzzle to fan out slightly. He wasn't able to smell Clara, despite her scent that lingered from earlier in the evening. Had she possibly not wanted to meet the beta? Could she have possibly seen that he was captivated by her strength? Fuzen shakes his head slightly, brushing off his thoughts.

Without another moment of hesitation, he stepped one of his mighty paws out of the shadows of the night. He slowly, yet gracefully pulls himself towards the border. His posture held strength, and he had a very calm demeanor. His blazing yellow eyes scanned over the Mountain Pack forest edge for any sign of the she-wolf from earlier. With none, the beta patiently sits at edge of the border. His gaze slides towards the sky, which is clear of clouds, making the stars and moon illuminate the area around him.

The sky seemed to seep into his light pelt, causing it to shine and glitter as if he had his own stars built within his silky fur. Perhaps he did, with how the canine often held himself, many would believe he saw himself as a god. Never the less, Fuzen was quite the sight. Easy on the eyes, and quite admirable, if he would just drop his rough exterior for some wolf, maybe, just maybe, he could receive the love was so brutally denied as a pup.

Fuzen quickly snaps his mind back to where he was, perking his ears up to listen for the she-wolf. He must focus, he wouldn't want to be taken by surprise. While continuing to stare at the sky above him, Fuzen made sure to rotate his silky ears to listen for her approach.

Clara was being Clara. In her den and knawing on a bone that she had taken from a recent hunt just to sharpen her teeth, and closing her eyes in the process. Today was quite eventful, between saving a wolf from the Mist pack from a bunch of hunters and hunting dogs as well as saving the little pup of the Mountain pack... That was much to take in and Clara had been quite tired. Which was actually something because she always hunted for the pack at least three times a day and made sure to bring a big animal almost every time. Sometimes she brought something small for the little one. After chewing on the bone for so long, she finally released it and got up from the ground, walking out of her den and looking up towards the sky where she spotted the moon with stars all across the sky. That's right, she had to meet that other wolf from the Mist Pack didnt she? He wanted to Thank her in a much better way tonight and it made her narrow her eyes in thought. As much as Clara kept saying no, her body kept saying yes because she was actually pretty curious. Just like her puppy days. With a huff, she walked away from camp and began to make her way towards the Border near the same place where Fuzen had been saved.

The grass was making soft crunching sounds underneath her feet, almost as if she was brushing the soft greens as she continued to walk. Her ears perked and turning to any sound she heard other than her own footsteps. As she got closer to her destination, she began to think Why am I even doing this? Am I really that curious as to what will happen?  surely he wouldnt kill her after she saved him (of course with the other wolves) and didnt attack him instead. Before she knew it, she emerged from the darkness and spotted the white wolf sitting here, his ears turning towards her direction and the moonlight bouncing off his fur. Illuminating the yellow marks on his body and making the white seem far whiter than usual. "Didnt think you were serious." she said, lifting her nose to the air and began to snif. There was no one else but him so it really was just the two of them. Clara then sat down but at a distance from him, the moonlight lighting up the markings on her face and putting a sparkle to her eyes, while making her fur look quite soft and silky to the touch. "How's your paw?" she asked, looking towards the paw that had been stuck in the trap earlier. Surely it was still in pain.

The golden and white beta swiveled his ears towards the she-wolf, her scent drifted through his fur as a gust of wind slid past him. He carefully slides his gaze off the stars and towards the impressive she-wolf who approached him, She was careful and he could sense her cautious attitude. His golden streaks within his fur illuminated through the gray night, the moonlight only brightening the reflective colors. "Didn't think you were serious." came her smooth voice, which made the beta shudder slightly. The way she spoke held authority, yet no challenge. She was kind, yet powerful. Fuzen chuckles softly, the sound was deep and powerful. "I guess I am known for leading on Mountain Pack females, right? " he joked, shifting his tail so it curled around his rump and over one of his paws.

"How is your paw?"  He tried his best to hide his embarrassment.  Fuzen moved his eyes onto hers, her calm blue color clashed with his blazing golden. He hesitated for a moment, before revealing the paw from earlier. The wire was gone, and the wound was covered in cobwebs, as the healer within his pack had taken care of him. "Sore, yet I will live." he says softly, turning his attention toward the hill from earlier. Beyond it was dark, treetops were visible in the distance, yet they were merely dark silhouettes against the purple sky. He sighed softly, his breath coming out as a small cloud of condensation. Turning his striking gaze towards Clara, they were far from emotionless, yet the emotion shown was confusing. "Why did you save me?"  he asks softly, his ears twitch slightly. "You could have just watched as those dogs attacked me. You could have turned and left me to save that pup belonging to your pack." He turns his gaze from her, firmly situating his gaze back on the stars above the pair.

Fuzen is taken back to when his alpha had made him beta, he was beyond proud. Then his memory flushed back to the day that Mist Pack denied Mountain Pack, they were begging even willing to give up parts of their territory. Yet Mist Pack turned up their noses, they watched those wolves drop like pebbles in a pond. The memories made the fur long his spine prickle slightly, his gaze was now twisted with regret and anger.

Clara knew that a joke would leave his mouth and she rolled her blue eyes with a slight smile before locking her eyes back with his again "I wouldnt exactly say that." . After he hesitated on his paw, he finally showed her and she glanced at it, seeing that it had been properly taken care of. At least his paw wasnt broken...Just sore. Watching his Gaze turn elsewhere, she continued to look at him, tilting her head a little as she did so before he looked at her once again, this time asking a very serious question. Why she had saved him. He was right, she could have left him to the hunting dogs to kill him but it didnt feel right if she even did such a thing. "Because being killed by the hunting dogs is a cheap way to die" she said, her tail swishing slightly against the ground "We may be in different packs but we're all still wolves looking for the same objective... Or almost the same." she said, lowering herself down to the ground to relax while she still looked at Fuzen "Despite past events, -and how much anger that some of us may hold- we still look out for one another." then she paused for a moment with a soft sigh "Well... I think that way. Not sure about everyone else." the Lead hunter admitted, her eyes shifting towards his fur that seemed to slowly stand up but stop at a certain extent. Clara watched as Fuzen looked up at the sky "The mountain pack acts quickly, which is why I was able to save you. If I had been the only wolf to choose between you and the pup, I would have chosen the pup. Merely because she's new to this world and does not deserve such a way to be killed. Us older wolves had been around much longer, which means the new generation continues the legacy." never could she leave a pup on its own.

Hell, not even anything that was a baby she could let die. A baby bird? Well..she'd try her best to save the poor thing. A baby fox? She'd try to bring it back to its mother. Clara was a wolf that cared for anything having to do with a baby. As much as she wanted her own pups, her defense system refused to get close to anyone. "I do whatever I can in whatever situation I can work with. It's why im the pack's lead hunter. I come up with plans and ways to make things efficent. Even though I am the only one who hunts for the pack." not that she minded much, it left her to be alone "Being on my own has taught me to work out things in short amounts of time." she kind of wanted to move off the subject at hand anyways "Before I hear you say thank you, you're welcome for saving you." she got back onto her butt and then pushed her back legs against the ground, standing up and walking closer to him "Those dogs were weaklings anyway..They need to pack more of a bite." they were too light... Or maybe she was too strong. She took her muzzle and bumped his just to get him out of his night-sky trance. "Is this all you need of me?" something inside her was telling her to go. He was part of Mist. Did she really have to sit here and listen to him? No..but something kept her there. Maybe just curious.

He listened to her speak, chuckling softly when she said dying by the hunting dogs would have been a cheap way to die. He was going to return with a snide remark to that, yet decided to hold his tongue when she began to speak again. "The mountain pack acts quickly, which is why I was able to save you. If I had been the only wolf to choose between you and the pup, I would have chosen the pup. Merely because she's new to this world and does not deserve such a way to be killed. Us older wolves had been around much longer, which means the new generation continues the legacy." Fuzen twitched his ears, sliding his powerful gaze onto hers. "You'd be a great mother." he says softly, before turning his gaze back to the stars.

He listens to her speak, his chest fluffing up with embarrassment when she doesn't let him thank her. He heard her stand up, yet figured she was walking back towards her territory. A feeling rose in his chest, why did he not want her to leave?

Suddenly, her muzzle grazes against his, and the touch sends voltage coursing down his spine. He turns his gaze to hers, they were eye to eye. His chest prickles with shock and a feeling he couldn't exactly explain. "Is this all you need of me?" she asks, yet Fuzen doesn't break their eye contact. "In all of my four years, you're the only one who has ever chosen to help me." the massive beta says softly. While Clara was slender and tall, Fuzen was muscular and tall. He twitches his ears, turning his gaze down to his paws. "I wasn't welcome here for many seasons, when I became beta not many respected me. They only did as I said because they had no choice." He looks toward the tree line. "Yet you still saved me, not knowing where I have came from, just knowing I was the beta to a pack you should hate." He lowers his gaze, before looking back to her. His powerful gaze was soft, and he looked thankful but something else was hidden. "Thank you for caring, Clara." He says softly, his tail rushing hers gently.

He slowly gets to his paws, looking down at them as he gently paws the grass. "I will be going now, you need to get your rest to provide for your pack." he says gently. He should have turned and walked away from her, instead he hesitated. In that moment he felt as if his paws were heavier than usual, making him slightly frustrated. He didn't want to part with her, something was screaming at him for to stay by her side. A soft feeling of danger rose in his chest, something would go very wrong soon, but what?

Without a second thought, Fuzen pushed his muzzle against Clara, the soft fur behind her ear warming his cold nose. He held this for only a moment, "If you need me, you know where to find me." His voice was barely audible, before he turned and began to walk toward the forestry, where he would fade into the shadows and possibly never get to see the she-wolf again. The next time he would see Clara may be when the packs are in battle, would he be able to attack her? What would he do if he saw a pack member of his killing her? Could he stand to be exiled for her?

When the beta returned from his thoughts, he was standing at the edge of the forestry, still as a statue. He was facing away from the beautiful she-wolf behind him, instead he was staring into the darkness that would lead him back to his camp. Yet he couldn't move his paws anymore, something told him to stay.

Clara was quite surprised when Fuzen actually said she'd be a good mother. Not many wolves would actually say that to her face, but would rather talk among themselves about it. Also, to know that she was the only one who cared to help him, actually made her raise her eyebrow in curiosity but it was quickly gone. Was he some sort of outcast like her? Even though he had been a Beta to the Mist wolves? Either way, she had a kind heart and would save anyone (That she actually could save) and do what she had to do. Thinking about it, he had to be flattering her in some way. Making her feel good about herself, but something told her that, that wasnt the case. She felt his tail brush up against hers which made her make a quick glance before looking back to his face "you're welcome." . That was short lived since he had gotten up and said: "I will be going now, you need to get your rest to provide for your pack." well that was actually really fast after a nice heartful moment. Before she knew it, his nose was buried into the back of her one ear. Her heart almost skipping a beat as her eyes closed and he whispered to her if she ever needed him, she knew where to find him. And then like that, his nose was no longer buried into her ear and she listened to him walk away.

Her blue eyes opened and she turned, looking over at Fuzen as he walked, but only stopped before the trees, not moving anything but his body was still growing and shrinking from his breathing. Clara hoped that Fuzen was okay and she moved towards him "I'm Clara, if I hadnt told you my name." she said, coming to stand next to him. Why was she doing this? She was getting too comfortable with another wolf, one from another pack and one who had such a higher rank than she did. This is what she told herself that she wouldnt do. Was get close to someone, especially a male. Maybe it was just instinct...yeah..Instinct... Now that she thought about it, her heart was racing for some reason and she huffed "I'll be heading back..." she moved from him and headed towards the Mountain pack side. Her tail swaying behind her as she closed her eyes for a brief moment I wont do it.  Even though it felt good to be so close to him... a comforting feeling, just the pure happiness that came from little contact like that. Their tails brushing one another, his nose on the back of her ear... C'mon, really? She was falling for him so quickly? No, She had to resist the temptation. But...that warm feeling... Clara opened her eyes and stopped in her tracks, looking behind her and to the yellow striped, white wolf. Dont do it, Clara... Dont do it. she turned her head away but when she tried to move, she barely could. I hate having this feeling. I dont want to be close to anyone! The last time I did that, I lost them! at this point, she had been getting angry at herself.
