A long time ago, my friends and I used our imagination to use magic and weapons to fight each other and magical creatures that came from an alternate area known as the barrier.

In honor of them, I felt the need to bring It back.

This is a modern, fantasy RP that will take place in our timeline.

Setting: Fictional town of Bleakerview, Oregon.

The town's population is around 5-6k. There is 1 school that teaches all grades, whether that be Elementary, Middle or High school. In this school there are 2 clubs. The Light Magic Society, and the Dark. Both clubs are filled with students from all ages to combat mythical creatures and each other.

The cause of these magical creatures was a hole in a magical line that separated our dimension from another earth dimension, which was named the breach. This breach existed, according to school legend, for over 100 years.

10 years ago, a few students attempted to bridge the rivalry to close the breach in the barrier. Over the course of this school year, much larger and more dangerous creatures came through the breach. The breach had been widened, and the gap between the realms was shorter, allowing humanoid warriors from an unknown kingdom to cross the realm and attack Earth.

Then suddenly, three students, 2 from the light club and one from the dark, disappeared. That very day, the breach that had been open for a century was sealed. Presumed dead, everyone moved on. Their names became legend for a short time in the school, then they were mostly forgotten about, becoming names of rumors.

Soon, everyone forgot about the mythical creatures and believed that it had all simply been a figment of their imagination. Magic users no longer had a reason to fight, and only battled each other.

Now, 10 years later, a new group of students runs the 2 clubs. Only battling each other, the rivalry is strong. Using basic spells and weapons, the students use their rivalry to fight and hone their skills. Most weapons, being designed with magic, were mostly impervious to the human eye.

However, a new group is trying to renew the talks of peace between the two groups. Something is pulling at this group of students. Something at the barrier. It's strong call was dragging the students towards their inevitable destiny, and whatever lies beyond it.

Ave sat on the table as she tapped it with her long black nail. She sighed softly as she waited to know what was going on. She had on black shorts that had small rips in them, a white crop top with a half-moon, and a pentagram. She had her long blonde hair half down in curls and was pulled back with a half-moon clip that had a star hanging down from it. She looked around the room, looking to see if she saw any new faces since the last meeting.

Amon sat among his fellow dark members wearing a tried look. As he was dealing with some personal stuff. He was wearing a red t-shirt with blue pants. His dark raven black hair pulled as he needed another haircut. Every so often he nods his head in agreement with what they say. “Not tonight maybe we can hang out tomorrow I'm dealing with some stuff right now”

Julius's walk to school was uneventful. His classes even less so. When he finally entered the club room, he was shocked to see how few people were there. They normally had more members, however recent days had dwindled their numbers. Coming up on the anniversary of the disappearances typically lead to a decrease in members, albeit temporarily. Lucy was sitting on the couch, reading an odd book. He had asked her about it before, but she didn't want him to see it. Whatever it was, he was sure she'd tell him in time. He walked over to the main table and set his bag on it. He sat down at the head of the table and leaned back in his chair. "I'm calling this meeting to order. Most members are absent, so we'll focus on ongoing programs for peace." He said, pulling out a notebook. "From what I've observed, violent encounters between the clubs is on the rise. This is likely due to the upcoming anniversary of the Breach Closure. Hopefully we can work to quell the violence before it reaches the levels it did last month. We don't need any more hospitalizations." Julius said, writing notes down on the members at the meeting. "Anyone else have anything else to add today?"

Lucy hadn't looped up from her book, nor did she pay attention to what Julius was doing. She was focused on the book she was reading. She was studying the spells that would open the barriers, or so it claimed. The text was hand-written, and everywhere she looked she saw initials at the end of the spell. Some of them had an initial see knew, her sister's, -AD. She wasn't sure who the other three initials were. They seemed to have been writing spells and the proper way to cast them. Both Light and Dark users could use them freely, however it looked like some were more powerful when casted by a specific type of magic user. She hoped one day to learn who the biggest writer of spells was, -TF.
