Beep... Beep...Beep.. Beep

The Alarm in the prison went off."All back to your cells." The voice said over the loud speaker. It wasn't normal, lock up time. Some times it was just drills other times it something major. Shane looked up from his reading and made his way to the single filed line to the 27 or older cell. He saw Samara a girl with bright red hair do the same. He sighed and felt the guards pull him into a room. He was in a room with 18 (this will change) other cell mates. He looked at them with an eyebrow lift as to say what the hell. They didn't know either, a man in a white lab coat walked in."Immunizations are needed for all of you. Your being moved, dress in these clothes laid out for you and the combat boots." The man said. Shane was confused but did so, his arms showed in the male tank top. He had muscles and was covered in tattoos. He made a line with the others. Samara was so confused. She dressed and laced up her boots. They were given a pack cuffed and injected with a sleep agent.

....

Samara woke to her head and body being jostled. She lifted her head slowly and looked around, her 18 other fellow prisoners were in the same boat. Her eye's were blurry and watery. She blinked a few times till they all came into view. What was going on, were they to be executed. She tried to get out of her shackles kinda freaked out. Shane woke to the sound of rattling metal and being tossed about. His blurry eye's looked about."shit shut up girl." He said. He gulped as he felt the plane start to descend and they were all un cuffed and recuffed. Samara looked at them as the gave her the key to her cuffs and opened the door pushing her out and into the water. She let out a high pitched scream as she fell. She saw she was going to land in water and got ready to hold her breath. She panicked at first as she tried to get the cuffs undone. She was struggling with the cuffs. Her air was running out. Samara struggled with the cuffs. She finally got them off and swam for the surface. She breathed in air and coughed, she swam for the shore about ten yards in front of her. She dragged her body onto the shore and coughed up water.

Shane saw his fellow inmates pushed out of the open plane door."oh fuck," he said. When it came to him, he was pushed into the water. He held his breath and struggled to get his cuffs off. He did it quickly though and surfaced swimming for the island. He looked around seeing only 15 people on the beach the others must have drowned. He coughed and looked about."what the hell is going on?" He asked.

Raymond

For the love of god what the hell? The ringing in Raymond's ears was going to drive him absolutely ballistic. As he was ushered into the room with the other 18 cellmates he then frowned when the man in the lab coat came in, demanding they change. However Raymond was not about to question anything and get smacked around. Slipping on the clothing that had been provided he raised an eyebrow as if to really question what was happened but before he could look at anyone, a sharp pain had struck him in the back of the neck and he had fallen unconscious. When he awoke he was merely just opening his eyes when he felt a hard shove to his mid back, and a key shoved into her hands. Glancing from the key now to his cuffed hands and then he felt it, the bottom of the plane was no longer underneath him. He was hurdling down toward the ocean, his mind raced but he knew one thing, hold your breath, don't panic there is NO sharks. As he hit the water, Raymonds mind was spinning at the speed of light.

It had almost drained him but Raymond had managed to get himself free an find the surface, his lungs grasping at the air as though they were dying. He pushed himself to swim to shore an once he made it he flopped onto the white sand, his lungs coughing up the salt water, a single hand ran through his hair before he got up onto his hands an knee's, only then did he look for his cellmates. His emerald eyes first landed on Three, who was quite frankly the only person he had been concerned about. Staggering to his feet, he moved an stumbled to reach out a hand to her
"Need a hand Three?"

Calvin

Everything was a blur and had happened so fast, Calvin groaned lazily as the beeping came into contact with his ears. With a heavy sigh he moved to stroll into the room, however he was taken aback as the man in the lab coat addressed them to change clothing. However new clothing was never a bad thing in Calvin's head. Slipping on the clothes he was about to look at the man standing next to him(Shane) and question what was happening when something or someone struck him in the arm, Calvin quickly fell into a deep sleep. Luckily for Calvin he had woken before getting pushed from the plane, he had been given a chance to look an see what was happening. The plane lowered closer to the water and his cuffs were changed, then he was handed the key, Calvin opened his mouth to speak but was cut off as a pair of hands shoved him roughly in the back, he was then plummeting toward the waters surface, quickly taking a deep breath before his body was swallowed by the waters depth's.

Calvin had not taken long to find the right key an free his hands from the restraints as he broke through the waters surface, he could see Seven headed toward the shore not to far off and so he started swimming the same direction. Once reaching the shore he stood a moment, trying to catch his breath, Calvin's eyes then landed on the same man and he cleared his throat before looking to everyone else.. Not everyone had made it. Now moving to stand next to the man again he took a deep breath "I meant to ask before we got knocked out ... What the hell is going on?" Calvin calmly folded his arms over his chest an rubbed a hand on the back of his neck, where the bar code simply said "000006"

Christella opened her eyes as she gained consciousness but then immediately shut them as her eyes sting of the brightness of the light. She opened her left eye slowly and when it got adjusted of the light, she opened her right eye and waited until both eyes adjusted the surroundings. She looked around, still lying down with handcuffs, others have also wake up while others are deep asleep.

Suddenly, a staff gave Christella a key, probably for the handcuffs. The staff also helped Christella get up, she thought she will be escorted to her prison but then she was escorted to a door. The staff opened it and she can see water... deep blue water. Without saying anything, the staff pushed, she wanted to scream but nothing came and then suddenly, she is down in the sea. She quickly opened her handcuffs using her opposite hand and swam up.

Christella coughed and spit out the water she had inside of her mouth as she reached the sands. "Why are we here? Why did they pushed us in the ocean?!" she asked, annoyed. She didn't wait for someone to answer her as she knew no one can answer her question. Christella stands up even though her clothes are very heavy because of the water.

Walter glanced around eagerly when the alarm went off. Sure, it wasn't usual to be herded in one room, but at least it was something new. Anything was better than the monotonous boredom. At least, those were his thoughts until one of the men in lab coats came around, poking everyone in the crease of their elbow with a thin needle. He changed his clothes while he waited, his hands shaking so bad it was a miracle he managed it. When it was his turn, Walter held out his arm obediently enough, but strained his head away from the sight of the injection. It would do no good to fight now. His vision immediately began to swirl... he felt... so sleepy...

He was groggy when he awoke. It took a few minutes for him to figure he was on a plane, all of the people that had been in the room with him earlier there as well. Some were alert and looking about, others were still knocked out from the injection. Struggling to sit up against the wall of the plane, he realized his hands were cuffed. Before he could ask anyone if they knew what the hell was going on, a man came in and woke them all up, opening the side of the plane and untying their cuffs one by one, only to re-cuff them. Their packs were placed around their shoulders and they were shoved roughly out of the open door of the plane. Walter's turn came too quickly, he was given a key and only a second to look at it before he was shoved like the others. Thankfully, he managed to get the handcuffs open without much trouble, operating by touch since the dark water offered no help. He swam to the shore, glancing around as others coughed up large amounts of water.

"Why are we here? Why did they pushed us in the ocean?!" A girl nearby him was yelling, looking quite annoyed. He wasn't so much concerned with her questions right now, he was more worried about the people still being pushed into the ocean. He anxiously scanned the waves, searching for the signs of anybody drowning.

"Mmm what the...?" Max stopped working out. She followed the rules she had to do. She was slightly confused and scared. They never ordered at random. They asked her to dress in those blsck clothes, so she did and the next thing she knew she was under water in restraints, she could feel water filling her lungs... she found a key and undid the restraint before swimming to the shore and throwing up all the water that had gotten in to her lungs. She still couldn't breath, and coughing shook her body.

Eventually she calmed down, taking deep breaths and looking around the beach, "what the fuck" she said, slowly standing. Admitedly she was scared as hell, but she would never admit that to her inmates. She crossed her arms over her stomach, she was cold because the water was cold. And the sun made the beach's sand look almost white. "Where are we?" She asked the closest person to her which happened to be Samara, who was coughing up a lung. She made sure the girl was okay, she even rubbed her back a bit. Max looked at the other people, but everyone looked about as confused as she felt. "Fuck..." she said to herself.

Time seemed to move by in a blur when alarms blared throughout the vast prison complex, a familiar voice coming from speakers above stating for everyone to head back towards their specified cells. This was odd, and it didn't seem to be normal lock up time. He wasn't the only one confused, told by the fact of everyone else seeming to have the same questioning expression on their features. Before he was even able to make it into the usual line, he was pulled off from his original course and forced into a different, unfamiliar room containing 18 others prisoners. Once the man in those traditional white lab coats walked into the room, he was ordered to change into an unfamiliar set of clothing. Miles didn't care to resist- punishment was something he wasn't necessarily fond of, not after what they had done to him. It took a few moments to put on this new attire, but when done, he exchanged glances with his other cellmates as if to truly question their motives (which wasn't normal for him). There were more words exchanged with the man in the lab coat and to the rest of the individuals in the room, but he missed them. Practically milliseconds later he was met with a sharp pain spreading throughout the back of his neck. Everything succumbed to the void.

He woke with a dizzying feeling in his head, and blurred vision. He didn't know where he was, but all he did know was that he was restrained. Was this a joke? He hadn't much time to think before having been pushed so forcefully out of the plane he was previously situated in. All air seemed to flee from his body once he was able to register what was actually happening. Hitting the water below felt like a slap in the face from reality; this was
happening. It wasn't a dream, this was real. He couldn't breath, in which this caused his body to resort to panic and struggle. He needed to pull himself together and find something that would get him out of his restraints. This is when he realized there was a key some inches ahead- he pushed himself through the water with unsteady leg movements, and was able to grab it with his teeth in a matter of seconds. With a quick movement, he was able to transfer the key from his jaw to the grip of his hands that were behind his back, it having taken a few moments for him to release himself from restraint. He was free.

It took a minute or so to bring himself ashore, him having allowed himself to cough up a small amount of water in what seemed to be bittersweet relief.
"What hell is this?" he questioned weakly, looking down at his wrist to seeing his bar code with the numbers: "0000013" below the design. Same as he always had

Katalina slowly moved from laying down to sitting up when she heard the alarm. She was used to it always going off, people were either trying to escape or another group of inmates were disappearing. One of the people who works there, quickly opened up the cell and yanked her off the ground. What was happening? In all of the years of her being here she did nothing but tried to keep them happy. She started to move to the worst scenario possible. Death. The man dragged her into a room where there were more people, and she was told to put on this new set of clothes. New clothes? Now that was something that never happened, she must be correct, today was the day she was going to die. After she put on the new set of clothes everything became a blur and the next thing she knew she was on a plane. Her hands were handcuffed and she tried to turn around to see what was going on. But the person forced her head forward and shoved a key in her hand. The next thing she knows she was soaring towards the blue calm ocean.

When she fell into the ocean she smiled to herself. She loved the ocean more than anything and it was probably the one thing that keeps her calm. Which is probably a good thing, especially if there were sharks surrounding. She struggled a little bit trying to get the cuffs off, she was quite clumsy with her hands. She was actually okay if she was to die in the ocean because right now there was no way she was going to get the cuffs off. When all of a sudden on her last time of trying the cuffs fell off and she was swimming towards surface. She coughed a little bit and inhaled as much oxygen as she could.

She looked to where the island was and swam back underwater. She opened her eyes and slowly adjusted to the stinging feeling from the salt. All fishes were are all so pretty, she stared in awe while she was swimming towards the island. She crawled up onto the island and plopped onto her back. Her chest was heavily falling up and down. She wondered what they were supposed to do now?

Faith looked worried, but tried to hide it as she looked, around as she saw the other get pushed out, soon it being her turn. She looked at the ocean,while she tried to uncuff herself struggling as she, got closer and was starting to get scared. as she went feet first into the water and holding her breathes she began to calm down as she tried to uncuff herself, with her last breathe she finally got it. She quickly swam upward, she wasn't the best swimmer but she made it she took the big breathe, before she located the island as she swam towards there as best she could before. As she reached the land she instantly flopped to her back trying to catch her breath she has never swam so fast or that long of a distance in a while. She slowly stood seeing the others. Faith looked down at where the cuffs were seeing the scars, from the cuffs she ouch them before she winched she shook her wrist from the pain.

~Samara~

Samara puked up water as she finally got it all out. She hadn't been able to speak. She heard a voice and looked up to see the man she had come to known as number 7. She took his hand and stood up. She leaned on him a minute. Her clothes and hair were soaked."Thanks number 7 and Number 9." She said. She sighed and looked about,"well I guess all we can do is move on from here. The sun seems to be setting and before we step into a unknown jungle I think we should make camp on the beach for the night. Will split up in a groups of 3's to gather wood to make a fire." She said." Code 9(@Dannygirl900) , code 18, and code 17 (shane) grab wood. Me, code 7(@Boondox), and code 12 food. Code 35 (@tsukikokimiko) , code 13 (@Tempestral) , and code 29 wood. Code 73 (@Immortal Pizza) , Code 6 (Boons), Code 22 (@Zelda18), Code 25 (@Love The Game), Code 31, and Code 2, stay here and make camp find things to cover us and make a fire pit." She said. She was one to take charge. She sighed "wait go through your packs." She said. She knelt down and opened it. Inside was dry. She looked confused, everything else was soaked but the inside was dry. She pulled out the items and sighed there was a yellow envelope. She pulled it out. Code 000003 she went and opened it.

"Welcome to the Island all of you, you have been chosen to join the ranks of those who have been placed here before you. You have made it this far. Will you survive the island and. It inhabitants we wish you good luck. Pages in pack have a you summed up in a nut shell.

Thank you for years good luck." Samara read aloud. She took the clip off the papers and started calling numbers. She finished and looked at her paper. It was like she was reading about someone else's life. Her name was Samara and she had been living on the street. Parts of her memory came flooding back. She saw the light shift a bit. She repacked her pack and stood."we have to get started before the sun goes down come on." She said to Raymond.

~Shane~

He shrugged to Calvin."No fucking clue man." He stood and walked over to Samara and the others. When Samara started to give out assignments and checked her pack he did the same. When he got his paper he was confused. His name was Shane and he was a country boy. He sighed when Samara said lets go "wait a minute what the hell makes you think your in charge?" He asked her. She glared at him."I will cut you, no one else was coming up with anything and we can't just wait for the sun to go down."she snapped. Raymond pulled her away. Shane sighed and pulled Max along with him,"come on lets go." He said to her gently.

Everything passed by in a blur and Miles barely had any time to register what exactly Three was saying to him and to all the rest of those who had been dropped off here; fellow cellmates. He was still trying to figure out what exactly had happened moments before having swam ashore. Had he just been abandoned by the people that took him in 11 years ago? That's when it hit him in an instant- he let the word: "abandoned" repeat itself throughout his conscious mind. Does this mean that he wasn't some prisoner waiting to follow orders like he used to be just hours before this? Oh, what bittersweet relief that thought brought him; he was most pleased. "Are you seriously asking me to gather up wood for you? I'm not behind bars anymore if you haven't noticed, and I don't think there's any restraint on my actions. Don't even let me forget, Three; who gave you the authority here?" he stated with an agitated tone that gradually made itself more prominent as he spoke.

He continuously denied the thought that Three of all people was correct in this situation. It was practically inevitable for Miles to realize that she was sincerely just trying to get everyone to band together and survive. He had no idea what hell awaited them, and that would ultimately be his end if he continued to act foolishly arrogant like a child.

Upon thinking of Three, he thought back to the moment she found a slip of paper supposedly containing her name on it. Names? You've got to be kidding, as far as he was concerned, his name was 13. Still, his curiosity got the best of him, and he thus decided to take a look at the sheet of paper his pack held within it. It was like reading through a work of fiction- this is who he was? This was his story? Instead of disgracing the life he didn't remember, he embraced it.
"Hell, it makes sense," he thought, not once questioning the words written by the people he had been obeying for the past 11 years. Miles, so this was his name.

Raymond

Raymond was quite confused when everything seemed to spin around him, Three was now immediately starting to order people into action, Raymond however wanted to slap a palm to his face as everyone began to turn against her "Everyone please calm down ... Look I know we are sick of being bossed around but this here is the only way we will survive" Raymond glared daggers as Seventeen moved forward to challenge Three, Stepping in front of her he quickly grasped her wrist an sighed heavily "Come on come on Three" With that he yanked on her with one arm, the other started to search through his pack, coming across a simple piece of paper, his name was Raymond Alexander White. Raising an eyebrow he then now understood the word "White" tattooed across his shoulder blades. As the two neared the forest he turned to look at her "Okay you had a good idea but next time don't start throwing orders .. we are all really unsettled and shook up Three" Raymond tried to explain this carefully as he did not want to set her off like a fire cracker.

@Gilmoregirl12

Calvin

Calvin chuckled softly as seventeen seemed to not have an idea, the same as him. Calvin was dragged from his thoughts as he heard someone else pulling themselves onto the beach and to his relief it was 35. Calvin moved over to her an put a hand on her shoulder "Hey, you going to make it?" Calvin smirked an then lifted his head to look at the group as tension was growing between cell mates already. A heavy sigh escaped him but when Seven decided to drag away Three, in hopes of calming the fire Calvin smiled an turned back to 35 "Want to go search for supplies? It isn't a bad idea you know.." Calvin wasn't trying to push on authority but Three was right, they needed to do something before night fall came around to haunt them. As he remembered Three he then reached into his pack and found his own paper an quickly began reading about himself, his name was Calvin.

@tsukikokimiko

Katalina stood up after catching her breath while dusting the sand off her legs. She tucked a piece of hair behind her ear when she saw 6 walking towards her. She wasn't big on talking to people but with her in the situation she was in, she was better off trying to be friends with a couple of them. "I think so," Katalina said quietly. They haven't even been on the island for more than 5 minutes and they were already starting arguments. She also wasn't big on getting told what to, but what 3 was telling them what to do was smart. She watched as 3 looked at her pack and realized she completely forgotten they were given those. She then looked at hers to realize her name was Katalina and she was an orphan whose parents were murder. When 6 asked her if she wanted to go look for supplies together, she shook her head yes. It was better off going with him then staying here listening to everyone bicker.

@Boondox

As Faith finally realize what was happening, she swung her bag in front her getting the paper out. As everything came to she remembed her Grandma and everything some tears fell, she totally had forgotten about what order she was given as she sat there re-reading everything. "Wow I failed my nana" she said wiping the tears as she began setting things up putting the letter back way at the bottom in the bag, she looked over at 13. She put the things down than walked over to him, "How was your life" she asked, as an image of her Grandma came to her mind sh pushed the thought to the back of her mind. than she remembered her name "I'm Faith" she let it fall out her mouth but sounded foreign to her, holding out her hand she smiled a weak smile.

@Tempestral

Walter watched as the girl with the bright red hair- Code 3, as he knew her- gave everyone instructions. He didn't really mind. It seemed she was only trying to be productive. But some of the others didn't react too kindly to being ordered about; he tuned out their arguments. His interest only returned when Code 3 opened her pack and discovered the paper with her name- her actual name- on it. He retrieved his eagerly.

121822- his identity. Or 22, as he was called. But Walter was his name, his actual name. He crinkled his nose as he read the paper. So he was the only son of two doctors; that explained why he had so much medical knowledge. There wasn't much else on there. He quickly folded the paper and placed it back in his pack. He felt no connection to the words or name on the paper. He couldn't even remember that life.

He pushed the troubling thoughts of his head. There would be plenty of time later to muse over his forgotten childhood, right now it would be best to start building shelter and such. It was pleasantly warm at the moment, but who knew how cold it would get when the sun went down?

~Samara~

Samara was pretty pissed off. She glared at the others she was trying to make sure they survive and they were being idiots. She walked with Raymond she sighed."yeah but if we kept asking. What was going on we were going to get no where. I thought someone should take charge." She said. "Idiots" she muttered. She heard a scream not to far in the forest. She looked around and saw that code 2 and 12 were gone. She looked at Raymond and took off for the screams. She stopped short seeing, code 2 stuck through on the tree. Code 12 was screaming and stepped back. Samara walked up to her and grabbed her. She put her hand over the woman's mouth."shut up or were all dead. Who ever did this is still around." She said."what happened?" She asked finally removing her hand from the girls mouth.

@Boondox

~Shane~

Shane walked with Max. He was looking for some wood and food. He was with Max when he heard the scream. He started to run for the screams. He saw Samara holding her hand over the girls mouth."whats going on he asked and had max stay close to him. The woman was screaming they were all gonna die. Before Samara shut her up. He didn't like this. He had a feeling someone was watching them. He looked around, "we should get back to the beach" he said to the other's.

@Dannygirl900

You remind me of the babe. -Labyrinth David Bowie

"Max Combs" She said, reading the sheet from her backpack. A frown placed on her lips. A sigh escaped her lips and she listened to other people finding out their names. When Samara started bossing people around she shook her head "no" was all she said and turned away reading more from the sheet. When Shane said his name she smiled a little "I'm Max."

Then there was a scream. Shane took off running so Max followed. The sight was horrible so she turned around covering her eyes "Gross" She mumbled shaking her head. "Uhmm. Okay no" She ran her hand through her damp hair, glancing at Shane. She walked back to the beach the dead body still etched into her brain. She wasn't one to get scared, and that scared her.

Looking around the beach Max tried to find something that was edible. There were animals and an ocean with fish. And maybe some plants. Mushrooms wouldn't be safe. Max sat on the sans trying to think of food she could put together for everyone to eat.

@Gilmoregirl12

Thirteen, or now- Miles was still rather frustrated with the idea of Three having tried to order him as well as everyone else around. They for some odd reason didn't seem to have an issue with her self-given authority. Except for 17, at least he had been feeling the same in the moment she was putting out orders. His thoughts on Three were interrupted once 25 made her way on over towards him- was she tearing up? Once she was in front of him, she asked a question on the subject of his past. A sincere and meaningful tone was present in her words, but did she really want to know? Preposterous. She had even introduced herself, with her "new" name. Before replying to her question, he shot a sharp glare over towards Samara (not like she would notice)- or Three as he would still call her.

"Details don't matter, but if you consider abandonment by both your family and those cowards, then sure- normal life on my end." When he spoke the word coward he pointed over towards the horizon in which the plane that he, as well as the rest of those around him were previously in, had departed. He decided to drop the subject of having been abandoned by those freaks, because he figured that . . . Faith, wouldn't want to hear it. She was more than likely the only person that he would ever decide to treat this way since she was basically the only person that he ever truly acquainted himself with when he was for a fact, locked up. God damn, i'm never going to get used to these names, he thought before deciding to speak freely once more.

"Miles-" he stated carelessly, clearly showing that he didn't seem to care for these new names of theirs. Yes, they were their original names, but they seemed too foreign to be such a thing. It was an odd feeling.

The moment was interrupted when a sharp, ear-splitting scream sounded throughout the area around them. Miles' head almost immediately turned over towards the source, in which he'd seen a body up where Three was standing. He wasn't fazed by the sight in even the slightest amount. He looked back over towards Faith and lifted his index finger.
"That's one reason I don't like following orders. Especially from her-" his voice was full of venom, but of course, it not having been directed towards Faith.

@Love The Game

Everleigh's hands which were holding the papers that came from her bag shook in fear as she looked towards the opening. The other inmates were probably as confused as she was but she knew that this reality was hers and was shared by many others. She looked around, seeing that no one had really come up to her to be a group mate of hers or something so she thought that she had to ask a group in order to know what to do. The rules were simple: survive. But that isn't so easy to do especially if one was alone. She tucked her hands into her pockets and looked around for a group to stay in. But after a while, she waved her hand up in the air and yelled, "If anyone is kind enough to adopt, can you adopt me?"

Faith nodded, as he said the things about him being abandoned "Grandmother took care of me most of the time-" she wanted to tell him about her mom but she heard the scream and looking towards it before looking back to Miles, "I'm my own party to but sometimes you need to live to have a life" she said before looking at the girl that she wanted to be adopted. "I would but your too old to be adopted" she said before trying to remember where the scream was going from. "Wanna come investigate or wanna set up camp" she said as she faced the screams direction. she than did a squat while she waited answer.

Christella nodded as Samara instructed her. But then, everyonr starting to get mad which Christella didn't get why. 'The girl just instructed us how to survive in this island..' Christella thought and shrugged. They do have a point though, she's not the almighty leader or what but then, she also want to survive here and not die from starvation or from coldness. Without hesitation, Christella started to move and search for things she can use to make a fire. But then, everyone heard a loud scream, making everyone stop what they were doing. "What was that?" Christella said. Everyone started running towards a place, curious, Christella followed them.

(Tell me if there is something wrong. I am using my phone)

Everleigh blushed out of embarrassment as she slowly made her way to the group, only to stop behind a tree nearest the person she thought answered back to her. "I meant, group wise, can I join your group?" she chuckled shyly after as she peeped her head to see what she was doing, "Sorry to bother you haha..."

It was rare of her to ever blush out of embarrassment, she was always the type who didn't care what people thought of her as long as she had fun and that she wasn't awkward with the people around her. But this case was different, there was no one around her and she didn't know what to do. She wanted to be of use to someone so that it might ensure her safety and her survival.

Miles turned his head towards the source of a feminine voice, so this was the girl that asked if she were to be adopted by any one of them. He lifted a brow- was she kidding? If you wanted to be adopted by an orphan and thus have no one to really take care of you, knock yourself out, be his guest. As Faith continued to speak, he turned his head back her way. She asked if he wanted to investigate the recent scene, or to help set up camp, he scowled. "Oh, we're definitely going to investigate. I'm not following Three's orders by any means," he stated with a surefire tone. He pushed himself off the ground, only to then wipe the sand off of his clothing like any individual would. "Ready?"

Miles paused, giving Everleigh an unsure glare with both narrowed, and dark eyes. He rubbed the back of his head for a few moments before stopping, showing that he was contemplating her company. He eventually, but hesitantly gestured her over towards him and Faith.
"If you want to join, then come on. Consider yourself a . . . 'non-orphan' now," he stated with a questionable tone at the word: "non-orphan".

Miles was curious to see what they were going to view up in close detail when arriving at the scene. Miles himself used to study things like this, but of course never got the chance to continue since having been kidnapped. What would the cause of death be? Maul? Stab? The possibilities were endless! This was one of the very few things that interested him.
