The Meta Gene, Theorized in 1912 to explained the Astonishing things being done by normal and not so normal looking people. Now this Meta Gene, In theory was inside us all. Some Meta Gene couldn't be pass on but some peoples MG was able. At that time in the world have a MG was less the 1% but in the last Century the chances has increase to 4%. 73% of people have there Meta Gene Awaken between 13-16. 19% After those ages and 8% before 13. Now thanks to some people who develop powers, plenty of Meta humans are treated bad since in the last Century with the constant increase of Meta Crimes. Some people become heroes, Others live normal Lives and plenty become villains.


One person saw this, A hero with a kind heart decided that she could help some troubled Meta children. Teach these troubled youths to be better and get them out of Meta Human juvenile detention facilities, To help people and how there powers are a gift from god. So now she is opening a small group home to test her Idea. She has made a deal with the Government to allow her to take a few teenagers and be there role model. To bad for her Authority figures, Teen hormones and super powers don't mix so well.


(So does anyone like this idea? I am looking for 3 other players who will be ready to role play and not just drop out. People with patience and decent grammar skills. )

Kat is a very Intelligent girl, however she is innately lazy and rarely applies this intelligence to anything useful. Se will instead spend countless hours playing video games or watching movies, rarely ever leaving her bed. She is also relatively self centred and is never truly happy unless she gets her own way. She is disrespectful to almost anyone unless they actually do something to earn her respect. In this way she is also defiant and rarely recognises authority, choosing to rebel against it often.


Interests: Kat enjoys video games, movies and television. She dabbles in art but really excels on drums. She also has numerous unhealthy interests including smoking, drinking and occasional drug use.


History:


Kat was raised in a single parent household with two older brothers. Their mother tried her best but it was impossible to guide all three of the children and provide for them simultaneously. As a baby she was pleasant, as most babies are but as she grew she became more and more aggressive, becoming a nightmare toddler, desperately baying for attention. Her mother was overwhelmed and usually resorted to beating young Katrina until she learnt to stay quiet and hide her feelings. As she grew into a child and a young teenager this only grew alongside a growing resentment for her mother.


As she hit puberty and became a teenager she began to go out more and more on unexplained outings. Doing various small crimes (vandalism, keying cars) just to feel free. It was around then that Kat discovered her powers which she used in order to create more and more chaos. As she blossomed into a teenager she took to drinking and smoking, after all se did hang out with the 'cool' kids. She fed her various habits by simply stealing from stores and houses. When her older brothers discovered her abilities one day they came forward with an offer, helping them shift weed. She obliged and indulged in the experience. But it was a slippery slope that eventually ended in her arrest.


Powers:


Kat has the ability to turn her entire body, or simply parts of her body into an ethereal form. In her ethereal form she takes on a transparent purplish hue and can pass through walls and objects and fly.


What did the do to get caught:


Kat’s brothers pulled her in on another job, telling her it was just like the one she had done had done dozens of times before. However something went wrong and the police caught her red handed. Kat scoffed at them as she got hand cuffed, knowing she would most likely get off with a warning for possession of marijuana. What she didn’t know was her brothers had lied and the package was filled with class-A cocaine. Her brothers would have got 8-10 years, instead she got juvie.

Personality: As Dax's parole officer would often say, he was a classic case of talent gone to waist, constantly allowing himself to be pulled in by his cousin Alec to run rampant through the city . Creating general mischief and indulging in pickpocketing until Dax's Grandmother called him home. On the rare occasion when he actually attended his classes he was... Well a C student. Mainly due to the fact he'd sit in the back of the class carving things into the cheap desks rather than listen to a power point on mitochondria. Though he can be sarcastic, impatient, rash, and volatile; he still will say "no ma'm, and no sir" to the elderly due to a deep level of respect he has for his own grandparents.


Interest: Though he often can be found sleeping the day away on the tattered back porch, he has a love for guitar, skateboarding, singing, and tagging parked trains. Despite his nee found freedom as a kid Dax had very little to play with. Leaving his only company to be his older cousin who took them on adventures to his biological dad's neighbor hood. Which left Daxton often being exposed to violence, narcotics, and alcohol which leads to his current substance abuse issues. Running "errands" for Alec's dad becoming almost as common as mowing grass for money, always abiding by the one rule to never look in the bag they'd been given when going to the drop off.


History: Dax was "raised" only by his drugged out mother until he was 10, neither of them with a clue as to who his dad could be. In the long run it left Dax bitter towards himself because of the constant thought that if his dad truly wanted to meet him he would; he was just another bill to him so why go through the bother. His mom was still in her early twenties when he was born, so she continued to date as he grew, always trying to convince Dax that I was so that he could have a father figure; though he can always remember his grandfather having to come over every once and awhile and remove a disgruntled ex from their house, leaving a trail of broken furniture in their wake.


Eventually their trailer was claimed by the bank and they moved in with his grandparents and his cousin Alec. It was then when the two boys began causing trouble around the neighborhood. Simple rolling someone's house became burglary within the next eight years.


Powers: Electricity manipulation, often being able to coat the entire of his arms in a with rippling electrical currents though he often ends up blowing everything up in the vicinity.


What did they do to get caught: Within the final two years of his freedom his grandmother because terribly sick, the bill for her procedures drained his grandfather of all cash so he had to begin chipping into the savings. For months Dax and Alec worked the lower sides of town at odd jobs, eventually turning around and excepting a big shipment from Alec's dad.. In their haste to get rid of the backpack Dax tripped over and allowed packed bricks of blow to fall from the bag, the boys hadn't even realize a cop had been tailing them. They split into different directions thought Dax refused to let go of the bag. It wasn't long before they where both captured, Daxton took the whole blame and was given a sentence.

Axel isn't the most social butterfly.He actually dislikes being in large groups of people, or being surrounded by strangers. He will take control of a situation with ease, and can become bossy. He doesn't enjoy watching others harm weaker people for fun, which is what ultimately got him into The meta human juvenile detention facility. He will stand up for what he thinks is right, and is quite a hardheaded boy. Axel is self-conscious of his ability, He thinks he is a lost cause for the meta world and often wishes he was more... interesting.

Interest: Axel is interested in quite a few different things, he has always enjoyed reading. It gave him a sort of 'release' from the real world. He has always enjoyed drawing, which led to him tagging buildings, cars, and often underground train tunnels. Axel is also interested in other Meta humans. Curious as to why he had such a... bland ability, and others were so much more... Interesting.

History: Axel was born in Italy, he lived there for six years before his family decided to move to america. Once they moved, Axel was involved in the wrong crowed almost immediately, His neighborhood filled with druggies, and alcoholic parents. Axel's own parents were quite strict, only making this meta teen even more sneaky. He was often pushed around at school, for being the 'quite' kid, most people thought he was weird because he never showed his ability during gym, or participated in any sports.

Axel never had any siblings, so he often turned to his drug abusing 'friends' for entertainment. He eventually began to tag fences, then onto cars, and buses, then onto buildings, and subway tunnels. Axel was a quiet boy at school, yet he held a deadly secret not even he himself could contain. He found it difficult to explain to the neighborhood boys why he never showed his ability, and Axel never truly wanted to talk about it, so when he was questioned it was a mere response of "Its complicated" Yet there was nothing complicated about Axel, the 'gift' he was supposedly given from god was dangerous, and Axel couldn't put innocent live sin harms way. That was.. until that faithful night...

Powers: Axel is able to shift, yet he is only able to shift into one form, Canis Lupus. Axel takes on the mutation of a wolf, yet his form isn't ordinary. This form takes on a height of 130 Cm (4'2) and weighs 90 Kg (198lbs) This mutation can often have a mind of its own. He finds it difficult to differentiate people, and can't control a more feral instinct that takes over. When he is in his form, his sense of smell, hearing, and eye sight is increased greatly, making him a fearsome hunter in cold blood. He often cant remember the events that take place when he morphs due to anger, and it leads him places he would rather not be. Like a detention facility for young meta.

What did the do to get caught: It was one Friday night that Axel was leaving the library, on his walk through a park, a shortcut to his house, he spotted a man, and a woman. This man had an unknown ability, Axel watched as he had her pinned with some kind of force, and was stripping her of her clothing. She was unable to talk or make any noises what so ever. Axel remembers feeling the pain of morphing into his meta form, then he remembers the salty taste of blood, and his hands being covered in the crimson fluid. The man laid at Axel's bloody feet.. What was left of him anyways, which was a mangled corpse barely recognizable due to all the blood. Axel knew he had done it now, and there was nothing he could do to change it. Axel was taken into the juvenile detention facility for murder.

Donny is a cocky smart ass with a lot of chips on his shoulders. Most of the time he thinks about himself and always paranoid. He is rude and chooses to fight rather then talk. Get him high and he will warm up to you quick. When you need him he will be there for you no matter if you are wrong or right. Never talk about mom or ask him about his parents. Not a place to go.

Interest:

Art, He find creating something is the greatest pleasure in the world. In his time incarcerated he spent half of it doing art. He also loves sports such a football, MMA and Basketball.

History: Donny was born at home in a tube of water by his mother and grandpa. His dad, Well he was off having sex with some other girl or getting drunk, Who knows honestly it was a one night stand. Donny was sent to catholic school for most of his young life until 10. His mother supported the family by sealing drugs, Kush to Crystal as long as the money was taking care of her baby she would do anything. This mind set would be the end of her when she was raped and murder, Her body left dead on the pavement. When Grandpa heard about what happen, A heart attack killed him too.

Donny, Now left alone in the world at 10, He only had the streets. He wasn't going to no orphanage or group home. He knew it was some bullshit, He was just a pay check in those places. He spent a few months on the streets but when the winter came he gave up. He was put into a orphanage and hated every damn minute. Don was just a angry kid and as soon as summer came he ran away and was back on the streets stealing bag of chips and Snapples. He slowly move up to more crimes being look after by gangsters. They used him to smuggle drugs and such.

At 13 his powers came in when he was being jumped by some kids. He caused a earthquake that sent his attackers running. He know had power and use it to take what he wanted. He was know smoking and drinking his big homies. He had respect and was feared. For two years he ran the streets until he was taken down by a superhero and put in a meta containment facility. He always had guns trained on him there and his only outlet was art and still is.

What did the do to get caught: He had team up with another meta human name Fuego, His long time friend who could set his hand on fire. They plan to rob a bank one late night on a Tuesday but things went wrong when a hero Beatdown came along and ruined ever thing. It got crazy quick as Donny found him self down on the ground going unconscious. The last thing he saw was that Fuego was going to kill the cashier girl. His head then splattered all over the girl when a guard shot him from behind. He was then shipped off to a facility and received concealing over watching his friend die.

Interest: Mika loves to dance and draw. He's into acting and randomly goes off to explore. He also loves to try new things.


History:


Mika grew up in a nice normal family. With loving parents and a white picket fence and cherry pie life. For a while everything was great. He had a lot of friends and was like any other child. Then he hit puberty and began to notice other...boys.


He tried to hide it but some how his parents found out and they turned from loving to..not so loving. At the mere age of 13 a bruised and battered Mika became a runaway. No one looked for him. He soon began stealing to survive and lived on the streets for two years before he was caught.
