❝ summary of the castle. ❞

the outside of the castle reflects every castle in the history books; washed away red bricks, high towers, arched doorways. during the summer, the grounds become ridiculously green and plush with life. gardeners keep the various plants flourishing until the snowy, dark months that plague russia. there are far more windows that absolutely necessary, but that was for strategic advances before nikolai took over the castle. there's a stables for horses, several tennis courts, and an outdoor pool that has just recently been installed at the request of one of the prince's. the kitchen is large and made mostly of silver appliances, though the only time it's busy is when humans are occupying the space within the castle.

the castle has 66 bathrooms and bedrooms in total which make it the perfect place to house several guests at once. there's a basement with a wine cellar and an extra space that has yet to be converted into something. there's a large indoor hot tub and the room it's placed in is filled to the brim with tropical plants that thrive in warm and moist environments. the outdoor pool can be viewed from the hot tub, through the large windows that line the wall in front of it. there's a sitting area both inside and outside and it's generally one of the more popular places to hang out.

there's a bar not too far from the pool and a bartender that's there from 8 AM to 8 PM. it isn't used much by the vampires, who have an incredibly high tolerance for that sort of thing, but it becomes far more busy when the aserini are entertaining human guests. there's a pool table that occupies space in the same area and a few chairs and tables scattered about to give the occupants several places to sit. there's also a home gym that's filled with the most expensive training equipment. this mostly remains untouched by everyone, but is there for anyone who might feel like using it.

there's a dining room that is reserved for the aserini royal family alone and a separate one for the occasions in which the other four kingdoms have taken up residence at the castle. there's a large ballroom that is equipped with several tables and seats, a large dancing area, and a stage for whomever the royal family decides will be playing the night of the ball. it's decked out in gold and expensive, crystal chandeliers hang from the ceiling in various spots. the room is normally dimly lit, though in between dances it gets significantly brighter.

to see specific pictures on the things describe above go here (i know the castle is actually in italy but idgaf tbh)
