Congratulations! Your group/coven/pack has been selected to participate in an experiment known professionally as Project Ark. As we all know, there are six species, all of which have their own societies. Obviously the humans, then werewolves, witches, vampires, and kitsunes. For the first time ever, all six species will be living together, in one town. They each have their own leaders who will act as representatives in any issues. As we get more accustomed to one another, people will take over the responsibilities which they are most suited for.

Mates are naturally very possessive of one another and fall in love within a week. They feel an instant attraction to eachother. Some mates will bite each other in between the shoulder and neck as a claim, though some believe this is a bit old-fashioned. Vampires and werewolves tend to be the ones to enjoy this custom.

werewolves

Werewolves are half human, half wolf and can transform into this creature. Their wolf forms stand on two legs and can stand anywhere from 5'4 - 6'0 tall. Some strengths of this species would be increased strength, agility, and shape shifting at will, increased healing speed, and night vision. They are weak to silver, fire, and wolfsbane. They are also overly aggressive and during the full moon, they have a predator like instinct. They will shift and are normally chained up in silver at this point, the only people who can calm them are their mates or family members.
Their leader is known as the alpha, and the second is called a beta. The alpha position is reserved and the beta position is reserved. There are also omegas and normal pack members. You need special permission from me to make an omega.
Vampires

Vampires survive off blood and raw meat, though most choose human blood for their diet. They also have enhanced physical condition, specifically speed and strength, as well as night vision, slowed aging, and they can hear heart beats and blood pumping. They do, however, need permission to enter a home, have water aversion, and are weak to sunlight, stakes, and fire.
Their leader doesn't have a specific name. This position is open, though the second in command is taken.
witches

Witches are worshippers of the devil who are granted powers. They are organized in covens, with coven leaders being the most powerful. They also may be granted familiars. They are able to get stronger based on their coven members and familiars. Witches have a specialty, whether that is a type of magic or an element. Aside from spellcasting, they don't really have any strengths, though some can choose to increase their lifespans through rituals. This doesn't come without a cost though. Other than that, they are just normal humans, though they can become exhausted and lose their abilities for short amounts of time. If their emotions get out of hand, it can be difficult to either use their abilities or rein them in.

Fairies

Fae are creatures that are very in tune with the earth and can fly. They do have wings, but they can be hidden so they aren't always out. They may have different abilities depending on the type of fae they are, but each can control one element. All fae can speak to animals, fly, and speak all languages. Their weaknesses include iron, salt, they are obsessed with shiny objects, and they aren't physically very strong.
Their leader doesn't have a specific name and is taken, as well as the second in command position.
kitsunes

Kitsunes are creatures fox like in nature, who are believed to half multiple lives, which are linked to their tails. They have the ability to turn into a fox, fox fire, claws, and they can create illusions. They have a particular weakness, in that they have a kitsune ball. If this is taken from them, they are in debt to whoever took it. They also are weak to removal of their fox tails, dogs or wolves, and iron.
Their leader doesn't have a specific name. Their leader and second in command positions are both taken.

I am assigning soulmates. There will be a small form to fill out which you can send to me here or on discord to distinguish your preferences for your character. I obviously will honor your character's romantic and sexual orientations. However, keep in mind that everyone may not get a soulmate.
