The Adventurer's Guild

Mavndrus Favehari
Mav let out a deep sigh, He stood arms crossed, head towards the floor, eyes nearly closed, leaning against a wooden post inside the guild house a good distance away from the commotion that enveloped the inside of the lobby. An apparent huge meet and greet between the new members and the guild master. Mav looked in the direction of the master laughing to himself a little as she handed out the copper coins to the new members like bread crumbs to ravens. Mavndrus continued to mind his own business and looking at the worn floor boards uninterested in chit chatting whatever mother nature and father time decided to drag in to this always changing guild. He reached into his pocket and fiddled with his coin that was now iron. Scrunching his face a little Mavndrus thought about his distain for the way rank was ran in the guild.

Upon arriving to the guild awhile back out of what he figured was mainly boredom, he strongly spoke his distaste in starting from the bottom to the guild master, Throwing his social status as a prince and his apparent magical skill. Copper just wouldnt suffice, Platinum was more like it, But of course the stubborn old hag hadn't paid him any attention shrugging off his request. Mavndrus had stop trying to convince her and just went along with it deciding to show off his skill in missions hoping it would get him up the ranks quick but that also bore no fruit as he had only been bumped up to Iron rank.

Mav scoffed releasing the coin to flail about in his pocket, Crossing his arms once again as to deter anyone from starting any unprecedented conversations with him, he pushed off the beam with the one leg he had propped on it to keep himself stable, the noise was starting to irritated the young prince so he proceeded towards the door. He was only there hoping there would be new quest up for grabs but since there weren't any he rather not hang around.

Narythus was surprised at the elf's sudden excitement, "I have only two forms-" He barely managed to get out as she asked another question, then another, and another... He couldn't answer them quickly enough, hardly able to think about one when when she asked another. "I joined a few weeks ago- but- Yes- I'm not sure." At this point the scruffy mage didn't know what he was even answering, losing track of the questions. His attention was caught by the bird as he greeted him, turning to the bard with an expression still confused from the torrent of questions he hesitated, but took his hand for the shake. Chimer, a fitting name for the odd fellow. Narythus nodded in greeting, "Narythus Grovedale." He introduced himself in return.

The dragon had taken a nap when Milby ran off, he was tired and knew Cel would deal with the tiny knight should she become too rowdy or destructive- as she would. He rested his head in an upright position, though his eyes quickly opened as he felt the gaze of a stranger linger on him long. He turned to watch the human, red-haired and clad in similarly coloured cloth and iron armour, the boy seemed to have taken interest in him. Ren regarded him with a careful stare, the stranger seemed not to be aggressive, but he knew better than to trust one he had not met.

" Oh my-- I apologize greatly for not introducing myself. Pulchra. " She said politely, adding onto it. " But, I prefer to be called Vita, if you will. " She gave a soft smile, hoping she did not intimidate the poor man. Though she appreciated Chimer's talents, she had quite a hard time remembering when she invited him over in what she dubbed ' Personal Space '. (Salty Vita) She couldn't help but put on a sour expression towards the Kenku.

Though, it quickly changed when she heard the screeching cries of the wild boar along with a yelling guild member claiming there was an entire horde of them. She could say for the very least it was true, the vibrations in the ground proved that correct. She looked around, panicking slightly as she waited silently for any one to act. The guild members would most likely attempt to kill or harm the boar just because they were doing what was in their nature. She made a slight whining noise before running off to the entrance of the guild hall hoping to get a better look at the horde.

Mavndrus Favehari
As Mavndrus reached out for the door to exit, his muscles stiffened halting him in the midst of exiting the guild house. His elven ears twitched noticing the sudden change of commotion, the lobby was now quiet but the forest had taken upon itself to continue the ruckus. Mav turned his head towards the training grounds as the sound of multiple hooves hitting the ground outside the hall increased

Mav smirked a little, This wasn't exactly what he was looking for when he showed up to the guild house but it would suffice. The wild boar were simple enemies ones he wouldn't waste his time on in any other situation due to the lack of excitement when fighting them, But with a horde of them rushing to the guild house Mav saw this as an opportunity. One to show off to the new haflbaked companions that joined the guild today and to hopefully put a little show on for Cel hoping to make her regret the decision to make him start off as a measily copper. Although he knew the guild master wasn't one to be persuaded easily he decided to himself that he would do this for mere entertainment and leave as soon as this debacle gets handled. Mav intended to do that with haste.

Mavndrus whipped his rather flamboyant black cape behind him as he walked towards the training grounds. "Pay close attention newcomers, as you are lucky to be able to see my excellence in action on your first day. "Mavndrus said while brushing his hand through his hair and tilting his head up as too look down on anyone who may be looking his way now. A small dark glow crept up Mavndrus staff as if it were powering up for an attacked.

With introductions out of the way Chimer was about to invite Narythus to sit at the table he and Vita had been seated at so that the scruffy man wouldn’t have to watch the guildhall and its members from the distance in the form of a small animal. However, before he could put out the offer the piercing sound of a crow’s cry rung in the air which was followed by more and more cries as additional crows entered the hall one after another. While Chimer had little idea what had caused the sudden flock of crows to enter the hall and to start crowing it certainly gave off the impression that something outside had spooked the birds. Something that the guild members may have to deal with.

A moment after the cacophonous sound went up into the air a door in the back of the hall burst open and someone stepped out informing the guild master that there was a ‘whole horde’. “A horde of what?” he asked worried that a large number of something was approaching the guild hall that had the intention of harming its members or the building itself. Though before someone could answer the Kenku bard, a dark elf dressed in dark clothing stepped towards the back door boasting that the newcomers were lucky to witness the man's excellence. While Chimer was doubtful the man was some legendary hero here to single-handedly push back whatever horde was coming he also was interested to see just what this guild member was capable of. Maybe he could learn a thing or two from him so he too could have confidence when it came to defending himself from dangers.

" Wait! " The elven woman practically sprinted to the other elven. " Please, we can just lead them to another area-- So they won't harm anyone. " The eyes of the healer were already watering with the thought that an animal would be harmed, or even worse-- Killed. Hoping that the other guild members would agree with her plan, she looked back to the guild hall, voicing her plan once again--Or attempting to given her soft tone.

" T-They are just doing what's in their nature, if we work together we can just devoid their path! " She attempted to voice without getting choked up, she wasn't used to speaking to any kind of crowd, she could barely say she was uncomfortable with a chinchilla on her head, they probably weren't going to listen to the copper healer.

Mavndrus Favehari
Mavndrus grimaced as an elven girl raced to his side. She was rather too close for his liking so he sidestepped a little as to dissociate himself from her. From what he could tell she was the usual elf nature loving, warm hearted healer, Mav could already tell he didn't like her and her ideals. "Your suggesting we not defend the hall, they are mere beast and we are a guild of fighters not farmers. So if you excuse me peasant I would like to get on with my business and get rid these nuisances."

Mav was a little harsh on the girl but being a prince he was still adjusting to having to associate himself with commoners. Yes this was a decision he made on his own but he wasn't about to let any of these people believe they were on the same level as him.

Vita did not take kindly to this, tapping her foot lightly a vine happened to grow exactly where the dark elven was walking-- Most likely causing him to trip. " My deepest apologies! " She nervously got out before running off. She was practically racing towards the horde to find a vantage point and where she could lead them. She wasn't the exact person you'd expect to be running head first into a horde of giant boars, but it seems she was the only one to take immediate action.

Getting closer, she saw them approaching at what she saw as a rather fast speed. So, she looked around the forest for any openings where she could lead an entire horde. Of course in the thick bushels of trees there was no clear path, so stomping her foot she scanned the nearby forest area. She had a pretty good idea where she wanted them to go, so the thick vines and roots grew in front of her quickly, making a path diverging to the side of the forest--Away from the guild hall and the kingdom.

As the guildmaster was explaining to him what jobs could be completed and how to find them, he felt the guild go silent at the sound of crows, then suddenly, when the back of the hall opened up to someone yelling that there was a whole horde.

A whole horde of what? Beasts to slay?

Then a man dressed in all black stepped towards the rear door where the man reporting came out from, and said that we newcomers were lucky to see his excellence on the first day. That man... is he so arrogant to imply that he would take on the whole horde of whatever beasts are out there?

And his staff is glowing. Is he going to use a spell? Sen wasn't sure if that was the indication for a spell, focusing only on his Light and Spirit affinities but it sure looked like it! Perhaps he was preparing an amazing spell! Though it would be odd to do so inside the hall.

Then when an elven woman stepped out to plead that they divert the boars to another area, Sen felt a little shocked. The idea was odd. To lead whatever was coming here away?

Sen bit his lip. It's a novel idea, that's for sure. Not a day in a guild and he has already learned a different way of thinking. To lead a horde in a different direction to be free instead of wiping them out!

But... Wouldn't it be difficult to lead a horde of hostile... whatever was out there to another area when they seemed close to the area? By the sounds of it, they were coming in this direction or coming near it enough to shake an adventurer desperate. Wouldn't they seek to attack all the adventurers that attempt to lead them elsewhere?

Sen wanted to speak out his thoughts, with a smile to dispel the serious mood, but couldn't find it in himself to do so.

After all, he was new, was he not? He just barely started today, even! Would anyone take his words into account?

And when the mage dismissed her idea, Sen was a little displeased. Not because of the dismissal of the idea, but because of the tone and words he used to do so. Peasant? The man was a noble? He certainly seemed the part.

Sen was surprised when the woman went off on her own. She didn't seem the type that could fight a horde head on. Or would. Perhaps she would lead them all herself?

And there's still something he doesn't know.

Sen turned to the adventurer who barged in and reported that there was a horde, and asked cheerily uncharacteristic of the mood, "A horde of what?"

Perhaps it's an animal that Sen knows about! He's asked quite a bit about the beasts in the area from the caravan he traveled with.

Name: Sen
Human Knight
Interactions: The Adventurer who reported the horde
Location: Guild Hall

Mavndrus Favehari
As Mavndrus attempted to head out towards the boar what seemed to be a vine grew form the floor board near his feet. Catching him off guard as he wouldn't have expected the girl to attack him with such undermining tactics, he tumbled forward quickly catching himself with his staff before he hit the ground. Mavndrus was furious, the fact that the girl dare make a fool of him automatically reassured his distaste for wood elves. "You insolent brat! How dare!" Mavndrus quickly ran towards the girl and the wall of thick vines she grew most likely to deter the boar. At this point he didn't even care about killing the boar but now it was his mission to because the elven girl had disrespected him and Mav wasn't about to let her embarrass him like that without revenge.

Mavndrus jumped throwing his staff into the air over the wall, As he landed he seemingly disappeared into the shadow of the wall of vines. The staff could now be seen glowing, the aura around it getting bigger. As it landed on the other side of the wall the shadow of the staff seem to emerge form the ground. Mavndrus stepped out of that shadow smirking. "Since these boar are so dear to your heart I shall get rid of them, You shouldn't have played that dirty trick on me brat."

Mavndrus grabbed his staff and pointed it forward, a series of several hardened shadow spikes appeared in front of him and with speed he shot one towards the now redirected group of boar. A squeal could be heard as one spike pierced through a boars body. "One." Mav shouted playfully as his other spikes floated in the air as if waiting on his command to attack the pack. He wanted to toy with the girl. SoftSmile SoftSmile

The vines went back into the ground as the elven woman looked onto the body of one of the innocent boars. She let out a piercing shriek of distress, tears gracing her pale cheeks. How could someone be so vile? She knew not many guild members would agree with her--But he was outright attempting to get a reaction out of her. She clenched her fists, ready for this battle--Not against the boar, but against this insolent guild member.

She quickly acted, the vines and roots seemingly delivering the boar corpse farther off into the forest so it couldn't be seen, in her deepest respects. She pushed off the ground with amazing force, plants helping her getting her in the mid-air. She let the plants help her, as she wasn't as fast as she could be without them--But working with the forest, she was like a bullet, giving her smaller size.

She was quick when she went in, flipping in front of the dark elven's face--Seemingly like she was going to land in front of him. Hoping he was caught off-guard, she quickly kicked his face--And with her current speed it had enough force to break his nose.

[ If successful ]
She darted from his face to near one of the boars, grabbing it's tusk--Spinning to the side and landing. The boar was now looking to the direction she had originally intended, and she saw the rest of the horde follow. Except..They were all now facing her. Oops.

Mavndrus Favehari
Expecting the girl to react he wasn't caught off guard as she jumped towards him and attempted to kick off his face.Using the shadow of her leg he casted A hardened shadow that formed a few millimeters from his face blocking her foot not causing her to not get off balance but just a different placement of her foot instead of his face. Mav didn't flinch as he watched the girl land making herself a target of the boars her plan to redirect them back firing. "Ah now what will you do if the boars start to attack you, hug them, They aren't worth protecting and I'm starting believe you aren't either since you insist on continuously getting in my way" Mav huffed looking unamused, he flicked his hand sending a few more of his spikes towards the boar and the elf.

She knew she wouldn't be able to make a root thick enough to block all the spikes in time, so deciding there was no other option--She was going to use her light affinity, in a way that she rarely used it. She stuck her hand out, creating and orb of light, sending it to the upcoming spikes that weakened to it's touch. Even a few withered away. The weaker spikes broke when they came in contact with the boars.

Though, when they came in contact with the healer--It was an entirely different story. None pierced her skin harshly, though there were a few tears of cloth and many beads of blood daring to pour from her minor wounds. She looked to the boars, yes. They were monsters--But they didn't know any better. She wished she was a beast tamer so at least she could have some reason with them.

They were distracted by the spikes daring to penetrate them, but turned back to the elven woman as she yelped and held one of the worse wounds on her arm. Now she had an idea. She wasn't a beast tamer, but she understood them more than most, and she knew that they were attracted to blood. It was their hunting technique, their nature. Such as their nature to hunt in hordes.

So, in a last attempt, the elven pried the wound on her arm deeper, making blood practically pour from it--Getting her hand covered and lifting it up. " Come and get me! " She shouted with nothing but a smile on her face. The wound that was just pouring blood had already healed to a scab, along with her other wounds. Do not mess with a determined healer. Vita was able to out travel the boars who were practically on her tail by the way the forest assisted her with her escape to the outer-region forest. Away from people.

Mavndrus Favehari
Mavndrus was a little shocked as to how the girl handled his spikes. He expected her to just shoot up a wall of trees to block them all but instead she used what seem to be a light affinity. Mav frowned not only was she a nature loving freak but also a light user. There was no way he would ever get along with this guild member. Mavndrus watched as some of his spikes came In contact with the elven girl, nothing serious mainly scratches though. Mav was confused on why the girl was so content on protecting wild boars who have no purpose except to ravage and attack anything in site.

"You really don't want me to kill these simplistic animals." He said, the girl then used a wound that he given her as an advantage by useing it to lead the boar away from the guild, The boar began to follow her into the forest. He scoffed turning back towards the guild house, now fully uninterested in the boar, he had his fun. He fixed his hair and ruffled his cape now walking back into the hall head raised as to seem to be unphased by the recent event.

Vita was almost out of energy when they reached the outer forest, where the trees parted more, giving for some more open space so she didn't have to maneuver. Of course, the boar didn't have to either. It took her a few seconds to come up with a plan, but when she did--She practically darted to one of the open valleys. She held another orb of light above her head, along with the height of the bundle of vines she was standing on--She was barely above the boar.

This seemed to rile them up even more, she had a plan to throw the light and even though it would grab their attention--She couldn't escape without them running back with her. So her hands quickly got to work as the boars were pounding away at the thick, thorn covered vines below her..Causing her to shake and lose focus. Though, she fused some plant-life with the orb, so it would be able to hold blood around it while still illuminating.

One of the vines moved upwards with rather sharp thorns surrounding it, she gladly slid her entire arm quickly across it, leaving a trail of red. With that, she heard the boar shriek at the smell of more blood, pounding away at her precious vines that seemed to be failing to protect her. Coating the physical parts of the orb with blood she threw it out to the nearby field a few hundred feet away.

The boar ran after it, all of them piling on top of each other to attempt to eat what they thought was a tasty snack only to drop the orb over and over when they were poked lightly by an opposing thorn. " That should keep them busy, long enough. " Vita said, smiling to herself as she walked back to the inner-forest--Completely healed by now. Just for good measure, she closed up the surrounding area with a barrier of varies roots and vines-- Just in case they were to look this way again.

She then happily skipped back to the guild-hall, even though she was a bit dirty and her clothes torn from the spikes and all that maneuvering through thick forest--She had fun. Though, now she was tired..Very tired. By the time she made it back to the guild-hall, she was no longer skipping, in fact-- She was slumping her way over to the nearest chair for a power nap.

"So easy to rush out" he said softly though a look in his eyes said he also wanted to go out and fight. A nice helping of boar would make his meal complete. However, others had already rushed out and it would be interesting to see how the new ones handled this situation. He looked at Chalcedony "Food is this way" he turned and headed out of the Guild Hall, heading down a hallway towards the back "Of course, you can always go test your mettle against the boars, but they aren't much of a challenge, their ability to charge is the real threat but a good solid blow will stop them in their tracks"

"I see the guild is still unequipped for a proper kitchen" he said shaking his head as they headed outside "I'd imagined they'd have upgraded by now, I guess, we'll start out here." he pointed towards the bonfire pit "Anytime you need some food roasted, this is where you come, you could also just make your own smaller fire and cook it better that way, the bonfire is...difficult to cook around" he pulled out a few pieces of decent wood and quickly started a fire "Eat what you catch is generally my rule, less likely of being poisoned, but if you don't have food, you can always head to the cellar, from what I know, they keep the food stores stocked up"

Reaching into his bag, he pulled out two wrapped parcels before slowly unwrapping them, revealing that they were decent slabs of meat "Hunted this before coming back to the guild. It isn't boar, but it is just as good"

Once the fire was good and going, he set the meat on a spit to let it slow roast before standing up
"Outside of the pit is the training grounds, most guild members won't refuse a spar, at least I won't" he smirked at her.

Mavndrus Favehari
Trailing back into the the guild hall Mavndrus keeps his head up walking past everyone and heads towards the door hoping no one stops him for a foolish conversation. He wasparticularly pissed at the moment about what just happened so interacting with anyone at the moment would be unfavorable. As he composed himself he neared the door, but out of the corner of his eye he spotted the Elven nuisance re-enter the hall seeming sort of bashed up but completely healed. He watched as she drudged her way to a table and take a seat. Mav had plenty of words for her, but he had already stooped low enough by entertaining her futile attempt in saving the beast.

Mavndrus stood in place for a second thinking about confronting her and putting her in her place. The way she disrespected him, a dark elf prince, was unacceptable. But he felt like he handled the situation well enough, managing to shed a little blood from her but being as proud as he is he didn't see it as enough.

Mavndrus spun around furiously walking towards the table she sat at, his cape flailing behind him. He reached the table, in a very angry but not too loud tone he pointed a finger at the elven girl, "What you did was very out of pocket, I could have you put in a dungeon to rot for interfering with a princes affair." Mavndrus stepped back a little, pushing a flurry of hair behind his ears and adjusted his jacket trying to compose himself, in a more calm but stern tone. "I will give you the benefit of the doubt for you may not know who I am, I am Mavndrus Favehari son of Darion Favehari King of Raa Dorei. And you will address me as such. I will not be so forgiving next time we cross paths" SoftSmile SoftSmile

Vita raised her head that used to be resting on the table, opening up her tired eyes that had just been at peace sleeping. She listened to what the obviously frustrated man was saying with his pale finger practically in her face. A dungeon? How sad, there's no plants in dungeons, but there are cute little mice. She smiled to herself as her thoughts wondered off. A prince, not very charming -- In personality anyway. He had toyed with her and those poor creatures, she honestly wanted to get him back.

Yes, she could say that she was a princess of a forest kingdom and brought her trusty bard Chimer with her to the guild to seek out relations with (in)famous guilds and kingdoms. Though that was all to abstract, and as good of an actor she was-- She was far too tired for her usual nonsense. Plus, Chimer would never play a long. So she sighed lightly, looking up to the dark elf with guilty eyes.

" As I said before, my deepest apologies -- But those creatures are field born, and not usually that riled up without someone interfering with them. They didn't deserve to be killed. " Speaking of them made her emotional, as she remembered one was in fact, slaughtered by the dark elf. " Actually, I am very sorry your highness! I would like to ask you to accompany me in the burial of that one you brutally slaughtered! " She stood up from her chair, with that determined look she had back in the forest.

" Before that, I would like you to know that my name is Pulchra Rumest. I am called Vita by my fellow comrades, and I would like to associate you as one. Now that introductions are cleared up..Will you please come with me? " Even though she spoke her name proudly, along with her preferred name..As she asked the question her tone went soft and sweet once more.

Watching two guild members hurry out the back door of the hall Chimer sort of froze not sure what to do. He didn't exactly know what the horde consisted of and he didn't exactly want to rush out to face a danger he may not be able to handle. Though the elven healer’s momentary attempt to convince everyone to help redirect it away instead of fighting it off as it was ‘in their nature’ hinted that this 'horde' was likely something that couldn't be reasoned with and just had to be lead away.

Now with a decision to make Chimer began to think hard. On one hand if they waited for more information they could probably come up with a strategy that they could all agree on. But on the other hand if everyone just sort of stood there waiting for an answer they ran the risk of two of their fellow guild members getting injured along with the hall receiving damage.

Deciding to push through his caution so he could lend his support Chimer quickly grabbed his banjo off of the table he had left it. “Can't let them face that horde alone” he said to himself before holstering his instrument as he prepared to use his musical magic as started moving toward the back door. However, before he could get very far Vita had returned looking exhausted and her clothes noticeably more ragged than they had been before. It seemed that his decision to act took much longer than he realized and everything had been handled though not without some injuries.

A moment after Vita entered back into the hall, the elf dressed in black entered walking past the Kenku bard and looking quite annoyed about something. Quickly the elven male revealed what was annoying him as soon after entering he felt the need reprimand Vita about something and threatened to throw her in a dungeon if they crossed paths again. A punishment the man apparently felt he could give out due to him being a king of some kingdom.

"Uh..excuse me" he said interrupting before either could continue their argument. "But what exactly is going on? Whats all this about getting in each others way and slaughtering creatures?" he said trying to get an idea of what had transpired outside and to also hopefully quell the argument before it became a fight.

" This prince charming here -- Forgive me for my hostility. Slaughtered one of those poor boars before I could lead them out to the outer forest! I was asking him if he would kindly go with me to give condolences to the poor creature before the forest uses it to help itself grow. " She looked towards chimer with glimmering eyes, it seemed she was close to crying again. After all, she was a lover of life.

" What do you think, Chimer? Should he take responsibility for his actions and at least see the poor thing off? " Vita looked at him questioningly, her eyes begging him to make the choice that she approved of.

"I see" he said thinking for a moment seeing how distraught Vita had looked. "I think it would be fair if he was present to give the boar a burial if he was the reason it was killed in the first place especially if you could have just lead them all away without any being harmed" he said looking at the dark elf. "Besides you two may end up on a job together in the future. It would be a shame if something as simple as not attending a burial made it so you guys could never properly work together again"

--Chalcedony Red--

The call signaling the guild of a wild boar startled Chal. Her mahogany colored eyes wide in shock and curiosity. She had never seen a wild boar before, but it also seemed that her assistance wouldn't be needed. "Ah, no, I don't think I'll partake in the corralling of that beast."

She followed Vas'on outside the guild to the decent sized bonfire. Chal listened as Vas'on explained a few things about the guild and himself. Her eyes lingered on the training pit, her mind beginning to wonder. The movement of Vas'on standing up drew her back to face him, an odd seemingly expressionless look on her face. Should she ask? Now would be a good time.

"I have a request," She started with her gaze moving back to the training pit. "You're a master at the sword, correct? I don't actually know how to wield mine, I just used them as an intimidation technique." She paused, Chane floating not too far away with a curiosity. Steeling her resolve she turned her attention back to the tall man. "I'd like you to teach me."

--Chane--

They felt a swell of pride as Chalcedony very nearly demanded the elven-orc to become her teacher. A wide grin fought it's way onto their face.

Oleda blinked, the commotion over as quickly as it began. The healer had certainly passed her expectations and any concerns for the elf's decision making in battle were dismissed. It seemed the usual hesitancy that plagued clerics in battle was absent.

Mavndrus was another issue altogether, Oleda offering Cyke an apologetic gesture as she shifted approached the table the worn healer was seated at.

"Out of pocket...! dungeon... prince's affair..." The gist of the conversation she easily caught. Though a capable fighter, Mavndrus's ego was nothing short of a nightmare, the day he'd strode into the guild as if it were already his realm still fresh in her mind. Gods what fun it had been to then inform him of his copper rank. One of the very few occassions Oleda fled to the guildmaster for help.

"...those creatures are field born... not usually that riled up." In what world? "They didn't deserve to be killed." Neither do the homes those monstrosities destroy. "Actually, I am very sorry your highness!" Oleda nearly choked, smothering the expression as she watched Vita turn to face the dark elf. It didn't surprise her the duo were at odds. Light and Dark elves were the same side of two completely different coins. "I would like to ask you to accompany me in the burial of that one you brutally slaughtered!"

Ah...

Oh dear. Oleda's brow twitched, a pleasant smile frozen on her face as she stood in Vita's path to the back door. Elves were an extremely varied kind. From the life-dismissive Mavndrus to, indeed, the life-adoring peacemakers it seemed the healer was.

"Vita," Oleda began, voice cautious. "I'm not sure if you're aware, but I think the guildmaster may have had different plans for the creature." The crackle of fire out back alerted her to the general gist, along with the shifting sound of something heavy. Cel certainly worked fast when she wanted to—anything involving meat tended to be incentive enough for the old bat.

Witch's gaze turned to the back door, stepping aside as, through the frame, the scene of a large, weathered bear hefting the creature onto the spit was visible. She could almost hear the creaky cackle of Cel's voice.

"Waste not, want not," Oleda mimicked, then quickly amended upon seeing Vita's expression. "At least, that's what the guildmaster is fond of saying."

Her attention drew briefly to Chimer, who was looking rather unsure of the whole situation. And, though Oleda wasn't experienced in interpreting Kenku expressions, she'd interacted enough with the bird-like figure to develop a liking. He carried an honest sort of energy; open to the world without seeming naive. For all the hell she'd given Cel about handing out guild coins, she found herself strangely happy the bard had received one.

"Truthfully, I wouldn't be too concerned about those things," she said. "They're not native to the forest. Some hunter introduced them as game a while back, and now they're out of control. Destroy most everything they see." Chimer didn't strike her as the type to grieve needlessly, seeming more concerned at the thought tears would be shed. "I have a few requests for them though, if you're ever interested."

For now, the guildmaster seemed to be planning a feast, members gravitating towards the training grounds as an excited buzz filled the air once more. It was about time, Oleda supposed. No doubt Cel would see to raiding the cellars as the sun drifted below the horizon.

Her expression dropped as she smelt the smell of the beast she had worked so hard to save. Those things that would have been easily led to a different area if not for interference, she hated all the pain she had to endure-- But knew it was worth something in the end. They were cooking a part of that something and planning eating it in front of her face, that's what it felt like. People mocking you for failing one of a horde.

Vita looked down to the floor, staggering backwards as one of her hands held a tight grip on the cloth of her other arm. She was trying so hard not to cry -- But it felt impossible, when everything felt like she had failed something that didn't exactly deserve saving. Though she had chose to save it because it was in danger, but all because she was an insolent healer she couldn't have done more for the creature...For all the creatures.

Her mind was wondering as her expression turned to one of hurt to complete anguish. Tears began to stream down her cheeks as her mind began collapsing upon its self for one simple incident. Vines were now growing around the poor elven's feet without her even realizing it. " E - Excuse me.. For a little while. " That's all she could muster up before practically sprinting out into the guild hall, breathing in the forest air. She had left behind a trail of obvious little flower buds that sprung through the cracks of the wooden guild hall. Her tears were like something that brought beautiful life from all her despair. At least, that's how she saw it.

She wondered out farther into the forest leaving her little flower bread-crumbs, mindlessly wondering with blurry vision until she got to far into the trees and she realized something that had never happened but once. She was lost. Knowing that, she sighed and sat down. She hummed a calming melody, opening her mouth ever so slightly to let the Italian vocals grace her lips. She had never learned the strange language, just different songs in different tongues. A few more tears graced the woman's cheeks as she looked around to see a beautiful sight. A few small humanoid creatures had come to visit. Pixies, she always found them rather silly than mischievous.

So she sang the song a few more times, not caring that pixies weren't even meant to be in this part of the forest..How long was she walking again? Her thoughts wondered as the few small creatures were sat in front of the elven woman who was singing beautifully with ease.

The song Vita is singing~ I know it's portal but I think it's lovely and suits her. ( Not the actual lyrics, don't look at those )

Mavndrus Favehari
Mavndrus laughed at the mere thought of attending the funeral of a filthy beast.
"I didnt even attend my own mothers funeral what makes you think I'll disgrace myself by showing respect to an animal that only knows how to destroy." He turned to the desk clerk that joined there little conversation she seemed to be on Mavndrus side telling the misguided elf that the boars weren't worth saving. Although Mav didnt much like Oleda as she had pleasure in the decision of making him a copper rank, she was proving Vita wrong which is all he cared about at the moment. He turned as he saw the boar he killed carried in on a stake. "Ha you see that you little nuisance, you were protecting our dinner. You were the only one mad enough to think the boars were good enough for anything else." Satisfied with the outcome Mav turned away from the table as the girl began to cry running off into the forest. "Dinner is on me, you all should be thankful I managed to snag one before that dumb girl scared away your food supply."
Mavndrus felt a little guilt as he watched the elf girl scurry into the forest a trial of teary flowers follow her out the door. He whispered under his breathe "If she hadn't gotten in my way maybe I wouldnt have been so harsh."Although pompous Mav still had a heart....sometimes
