Backstory:

When Alessandro was born, the Morellos were ecstatic. He was their first child and the boy which meant, the heir. The family was already high on the social ladder in Nevada only because they decided to take the greatest risk ever. Ignoring the fact that Las Vegas was already booming with business, the Morellos decided to build their own casino empire outside of Vegas. It was pretty reckless but they managed to do so and the business sprung up soon after the gates of their first casino opened.

Of course, they were not the only ones who found this a good idea. The Salvatore family has always been there, they basically coexisted with each other. But the Morellos tried to work hard and be on top all the time, they would fight anyone and everyone. Old Don Morello was a ruthless man and he brought his son Alessandro the same way. He carried a heavy hand and Sandro felt it more often than not. Father was a mean bastard and his enemies trembled in front of him. And not only his enemies.

Sandro was raised as the future Don of the family and though he had mind of his own, father’s upbringing signed on him a lot. He became cold and manipulative, sharp shooter handled all kinds of weapons – guns or knives, was skilled in negotiation of all kinds and understood the politics perfectly. Father gave him one of the family casinos to manage and that was the final exam. Dante fucked up. Not much. But he did cost the family a lot of money. He will never forget the day when his father entered his office, calm as ever and announced him that he could choose the body part he was about to lose. Fortunately, no cutting body parts off occurred that day but the punishment came anyway. Dante still has a scar on two on his back. But he learned his lesson.

Since that moment, Sandro worked his ass off, learned a lot about running a casino. But with the mob, things are not rainbows and unicorns. Ever. Soon he was supposed to get married and the bride was already arranged for him. All Sandro had to do was to come to the church and say “I do”. And he did. One lesson from his father’s hunting knife was enough. Sandro never disobeyed and married Laura only to live in the loveless marriage that was going to be cursed by hatred and toxic vibes.

When the old Don ate the bullet, fired by nameless enemy, the Morello family was devastated. Sandro was not ready. But it happened, the throne was empty. The Don is dead, long live the Don. Sandro became the new head of the Morello family and knew he needed to keep the family glory up. He couldn’t afford to lose anything his father had earned and his merciless and cold nature intensified, trying to keep and expand the Morello empire.

Backstory:

Being born the Salvatore was a commitment in itself. And while the middle children were usually the most “normal” ones of the litter, it definitely didn’t apply to this family. Gianna was born a few years after her older sister and for a while, the disappointment was real. The Salvatore’s needed an heir and it should have been a boy. And now they were stuck with two girls. But soon, they have recovered and decided to work with what they had. The oldest girl was predestined to either lead the family or close the profitable marriage but the other one, Gianna, grew up to be daddy’s sweetheart.

Gianna had her typical rich kid childhood, nothing was ever taken away from her, daddy made sure his little treasure had everything her heart yearned for and Gia enjoyed herself very much. She grew up as entitled, spoiled rich brat and always expected things to happen for her because she was a Salvatore. Her name gave her a lot of benefits but also a lot of trouble. In her case, boy trouble. Everyone wanted their shot at getting into that family but Gia was looking for that special someone. It took time but she found him.

Tony Giordano was her perfect match. Good family background, handsome as the devil, sharp as a tack. They shared a lot of common interests and enjoyed one another a lot. So much that they actually dated for four years and then Tony knelt down, asking for Gia’s hand in marriage. The thing was, while Gia was over the moon, her family was not. The Giordano’s were a rich family but insignificant. By marrying one of them, Gia would earn nothing. Her family would earn nothing. And that was unacceptable. But considering who Gianna was, she simply decided to go for it. After all, she loved Tony more than the world.

Until that one day when she just found the perfect dress and came over to Tony’s to celebrate. The man didn’t expect her and so Gia found her future husband tangled in sheets. And in the endless legs of some fucking slut she didn’t know. Gia’s world crumbled in front of her tear-filled eyes and she ran out of that apartment at the speed of sound. Tony realized he screwed up and tried to get her back but Gianna’s revengeful Salvatore nature awoke and when he came with all his idiotic excuses, they got in the fight which ended up with Gia pulling the trigger, killing her fiancé in cold blood.

Of course, her family took care of it, it basically never happened and life went on as always. Or not. Gianna was never the same after this incident. Her heart turned into a rock and the sound of a bullet leaving the barrel became too appealing. The princess turned into a black widow and for now, she is still daddy’s girl. Just not the way she used to be. This is the darker, murderous version of Gianna Salvatore.

BIOGRAPHY: Bio: January fourteenth at five in the afternoon a beautiful babygirl was born in Saint Johnson’s Hospital dead center of the small town she would grow to know and love. At the ripe age of five, Chrysanthemum Rose Alexander was a cheery perfectly happy little girl. She loved to read, color and even ride her bike. Ten years later the once happy girl lost everything in one night. Her home, her family, and everything in which they thought could be turned to a profit. In a single night, her mother was shot in the head while her father was beaten to death by a group of masked robbers who took everything- including the bike she had once loved.
The robbers saw the small child and miraculously- almost as if to drip more cruelty to this lake of despair- left her with only the memories of the fateful night and a scar upon her left cheek from where one of the men slit had gotten a hold of her yet lost grip upon the knife that resided in their palm. As the masked intruders left, one stayed and began to make their way towards the girl as they wanted to finish the job- no loose ends. Just before the man could touch her, a man walked in only to shoot the burglar in the back of the head. The girl made a run for it only to live on the streets- soon to take jobs as a thief. As she got older her skills began to improve and was brought into the Salvatori business

An only child, Marco was born to Alessia Morello and Franco Marino. Other than his mother's side of the family being the mafia, Marco as a young child thought his upbringing was normal, oblivious to how unorthodox it really was. It was only when he was around eight years old that he began to realise his home life was unhealthy. His mother was a kind and devoted woman, who loved her son. His father was nothing of the sort. The man showed very little interest towards Marco, deeming him as merely a possession which kept him heavily tied into Alessia's rich and powerful family. To this day, Marco acknowledges his mother was far too forgiving. Every time Franco hit her, she covered it up from the rest of the family and tried to fix her husband. It never worked, with Franco controlling Alessia as it was his only means of power, feeling weak when standing alongside his powerful brother-in-law.

When Marco was twelve, his mother fell ill and was soon diagnosed with terminal cancer. His father, being the selfish excuse for a man he was, walked out on the family before things got too heavy. The man wanted to escape before he would have to take care of his dying wife and then be responsible for his son. Marco's resentment towards his father rapidly turned to hatred as he watched helplessly as his mother faded away before his eyes. After losing his mother through death and his father through the man's pure cowardice, Marco was taken in by his uncle - the Morello Don. With that, Marco's cousins became more like siblings, especially Alessandro who he was raised alongside. Their closeness made them more like brothers than cousins.

As the years went on, Marco's involvement in the business intensified with him often assisting either his uncle or cousin with tasks. Not only did Marco learn a lot about business and the politics of it, but also became proficient with combat, firearms and knives, not hesitating to use them on those he believed deserved to be on the receiving end. Although he has no doubts his merciless actions and ability to commit unthinkable violence is the product of witnessing his father's actions, Marco believes himself to be a better man. A man who would only harm those who wronged his family and truly deserved it. When the Don was killed, Alessandro inherited the role of the head of the Morellos. Naturally, Marco was made the Underboss, working closely with his 'brother'.

A few years ago, Franco showed up at Marco's place, practically begging his son for money and a second chance. Having lost much of his money through gambling and self-indulgence, Franco was left begging Marco to help him out. There was little hesitation in Marco's head before he decided to help solve his father's problems. That help came in the form of a bullet between the eyes; an action which seemed to lift a long lingering weight from Marco's shoulders. He has never regretted pulling the trigger that day.

Mariah is the last born Morello, and she's definitely the wildest of the bunch. With her two older brothers, she's always been well protected and well cared for. A daddy's girl to the bone, she always used that and her family's position and power to her advantage, even from a young age. She's got quite a mouth on her, not a filter anywhere in her brain. She never really got along with her mother, since the two never connected in the way a mother and daughter should. Having been in the mob lifestyle for so long, the woman knew there was very little place for sensitivity, even for her only daughter.

Mariah spent many years of her childhood trying to establish that connection with her mother. Trying to impress her and be on her good side, but it seemed that no matter what Mimi did, it was never good enough. Tessa Morello was never the loving type; she knows the mob business in and out, and Mimi can probably count on one hand the times she saw the woman smile, or even got a hug from her.

It was when Mariah became a teenager that the rebellion actually started to show. She never went completely out of line, as it was made clear that she would be excommunicated without remorse. But Mariah continuously toed that line, causing more tension between her and the family, her mother especially. But with her father wrapped around her finger, Mimi's rebellious streak only widened as she got older. This led to her having a secret fling with one of her father's men when she was around 17. The guy was young, in his early 20s, and Mimi really did fall for him.

But when she turned out to be pregnant, somehow her family found out. Mariah was forced to get rid of her child, and the guy disappeared from the family home, never to be seen or heard from again. Mariah has no idea if he's even alive or dead, and has no way of getting in touch with him or anyone to find out. Her family definitely won't tell her. She sank into a depression after that, her mood swings off the chart, almost uncontrollable. She's since calmed down, but only slightly.

Dante was born and raised in opulence, the youngest child of a wealthy family. As the baby brother of 3 older sisters, he was heavily favored by his parents, apparent in how he was coddled, spoiled, and excused for his every mistake. His parents consisted of his mother, a famous, extremely beautiful model and his father, a politician. From the moment they were married, their one true wish was to have a son; a man to keep the family name and eventually inherit their vast wealth. They tried for years, and once Dante was born after years of failed pregnancies and baby girls, the pair did everything in their power to raise him like a prince. From toys to porsches, he was always given anything and everything he asked for to keep him pleased. Unfortunately for his parents, their constant spoiling and overlooking of his flaws had consequences- the son they thought to be an angel had been turned into a demon by their own hand. He displayed a disturbing fascination ever since he was a child with causing pain in others, both emotional and physical. He would hit others, steal from them, deliberately destroy the things they held dear; on occasion, he would even crush baby birds and poison the neighborhood dogs, all because it was fun to watch them suffer, knowing he was causing their agony.

He wouldn’t even make it to adulthood before the world he had known came crashing down around him. His father was known for advocating heavily against illegal activity and before a local election, hired a couple hundred FBI to investigate local illegal weapon trades, especially those seeming to be connected to the local Mafia, the Salvatore family. This proved to be a grave mistake. Unbeknownst to his family, in the following months, he would be under constant mental torment, being harrassed, blackmailed, and threatened by the family for attempting to slow down operations. The life of his family was held for ransom, all without them ever knowing. Finally, this torture ended with a grande finale; to save his family, Dante’s father was to commit public suicide. His family wasn’t even granted a private visit from police after the deed was done; within minutes of him revealing a pistol and shooting himself during a city council meeting, every news station and channel was running the story, leading to his wife, Dante and his three daughters watching the aftermath in real time. The five were devastated of course, without even the promise of a will to comfort their grief. In the months leading up to his death, Dante’s father had been paying weekly ransoms to the Salvatore’s to keep his family alive. As a result, his and his wife’s bank account had been bled dry. What was once a prosperous and elite family had been shattered into pieces.

His mother fell into a deep depression, being forced to move back in with Dante’s grandmother as their mansion was reclaimed by the city. His sisters, all between 18-22, resigned to moving out and trying to find work to support themselves. While they mourned their husband/father and vast wealth, Dante had other concerns on his mind. The death of his father was no big deal to him; after all, he chose to put the gun to his head. Now his primary objective was to regain the inheritance he had lost. He shortly discovered folders upon folders of letters and photographs, all with no sender, all describing in great detail what precisely would happen to Dante, his sisters and his mother, how they would be tortured, the condition their bodies would be found in, etc. It didn’t take much deducing for Dante to figure out who had sent these letters. Instead of feeling rage, disgust or sadness upon discovering the letters, the sadist within him got sick pleasure out of reading them. The things they described in each letter were so gruesome, so evil, so deprived of mercy that he found himself admiring their words. The way the Salvatore’s worked was brutal and efficient, all with terrific output.

It took some convincing and a few ugly favors to convince the Salvatores’ of his earnest desire to join their ranks, but once he did, he quickly rose up to the role of capo, accruing quite a bit of capital on his way up. He took over leadership of the casino after the previous leader, also a capo, ‘retired’.

BIOGRAPHY:
Antonio wasn't born with much, if anything at all. His mother was an addict, nowhere near mother material. She never stopped using while she was pregnant, and Antonio was born addicted as well. The hospital obviously knew what was going on, and she lost custody of her son before she ever took him home. The courts managed to find his father, a man who wasn't even aware that the woman had been pregnant. He decided that he would take the child in, his son, but the woman he was married to did not appreciate the product of her husbands affair being in her prim and proper house.

Antonio's father had children from that marriage, and they were around the same age, give or take a few years. Because of how his stepmother felt about him, she raised her children to feel the same way, and Antonio was always the odd ball out, the black sheep. No matter how hard he tried to impress his family, it was never good enough. He was never good enough. This made him jaded, made him hate the house he lived in, and everyone in it. He started to withdraw into himself, to become more and more isolated as the years went on. His family didn't care about him, so why should he care about them?

His mother reentered his life when he was a young teenager, claiming to be clean and wanting to be a part of his life. At that time, his father told him he was old enough to choose where he wanted to go. Hoping for a life better than the one he had, he chose to go live with his mother. And things were great-- at first. Fast food and junk food all the time, staying in seedy motels here and couch surfing there. They were partying all the time, or living the rebel life, as he told himself back then. What he didn't know until it was too late was that she was using again, and that's why they were never quite able to settle down.

Eventually, tragedy struck when the courts caught wind that he wasn't in school anymore. He ended up back on his father's doorstep, but not before he found his mother overdosed in the hotel bathroom. She didn't survive, and he knew he couldn't survive at his fathers forever. He put everything he had into catching up in school, finding that he was quite intelligent. At the age of seventeen, he left his father's house for good after graduating early. Living on the streets was rough, and for a few years he got caught up with the wrong people. But it was with those people he learned how to shoot, and learned the life of the mob. But instead of losing his life like he probably should have, he was offered a spot low in the ranks of the Salvatore family. And from there, he worked his way up.

Backstory:

Rhys Everett was born as a normal kid in a normal family and was predestined for a typical mundane life with his 9-5 job, a wife and a few kids. There was nothing in his childhood or family life that might have destroyed him physically or mentally. He was a happy kid with loving parents, had a twin brother, was good at school and was raised with proper values and a great sense of justice. No wonder that once he graduated, he decided to enroll into the police academy and protect the law and the citizens.

Life went by and Rhys became a police officer though it never stopped him. He wanted more and being really smart and good at what he did, he worked towards becoming the detective soon. His goal was to solve murders and all those heavy crimes, maybe even a cold case or two. Basically cases no one else could solve. He was extremely good at seeing clues where no one else could and it granted him a place in the force.

It was right after he got his detective badge when he met Jocelyn. She was everything Rhys ever wanted in a girl. His match made in heaven. He sang about her all the time and his colleagues even made fun of him for it. But Rhyas wouldn’t shut up, Josie was the love of his life. No one was actually surprised when he proposed to her a year after they met. The wedding was beautiful, the newlyweds were radiant and Rhys knew that he found his happiness. A few months after the wedding, Jocelyn got pregnant and the couple brought a beautiful baby girl into this world. Rhys was on cloud nine. He had everything he ever wanted.

But of course, things seemed too good to be true. Especially with his kind of work, it was dangerous to be truly happy. Rhys got into a gang case and it had to do a lot with drugs. His colleagues were desperate and wanted to give up but Rhys was like a mad dog. He bit and wouldn’t let go. And he was definitely getting close, judging by hate mail and threats he was getting on a daily basis but he decided to ignore that. And that was his gravest mistake.

It was the day like any other when Rhys came home from work. It was unusually quiet and he felt weird immediately. Usually, Josie was playing music and little Cameron was babbling the lyrics in her baby language. But this silence was unbearable. And when Rhys entered the kitchen, he found out why. The scene shattered him into million pieces and he felt like he was having the worst nightmare. Their beautiful white sunny kitchen was covered in blood and in the middle of that, his beloved wife and his tiny little daughter, lying lifeless. Rhys felt like his life was over and he knew only one thing. He wanted revenge.

However, the problem was that his job never allowed him to enact the revenge the way he wanted to. That day changed Rhys forever, he became the darker version of himself and spent his days thinking how to kill those bastards. Only one thing was left after all those failed attempts. He took off his badge, left the force and visited Don Salvatore. One thing led to another and the former clean cop became someone completely different. In time, he became one of the capos. A shadow of a man he used to be, Rhys became a person who enemies were afraid of. His police training together with the opportunity to ignore law made him lethal.

Being the firstborn and a female, Camila has always felt like she's had to work overtime to prove herself. Given her father's business, she has wanted to prove herself to him since she was a child old enough to understand the lifestyle she'd been born into. In school, she was smart and considered an overachiever, like everything else, she never wanted to disappoint anyone. In a way, it became something of a compulsion, to be perfect and never make a mistake. Whenever she did mess up, it was fair to say nobody was more upset with her than she was with herself.

By the time Camila started high school, she was already training in combat and weaponry by one of her father's employees. Surprisingly, there was a time during high school that she found herself the target of verbal bullying by the popular crowd, or the "Princesses" as she would call them. Bullying was one label for it, though Camila had simply allowed it happen for a while, choosing to focus on her work and hide the fact she wasn't intimidated in the slightest. It had only been when cornered by the group of girls that Camila reacted and showed the girls what she was capable of. The ringleader has finished up with a broken nose and a dislocated elbow. Soon enough, Camila found herself more popular than ever. Once again, she went went along with it and kept quiet about the fact she had no respect for her fickle peers. Instead, she decided the path of least resistance allowed her to concentrate on her studies and also meant she wouldn't be causing petty problems for her father.

After finishing her education with top grades, Camila was finally able to set her sights on working for her father. Over the years, she's proved she's willing to take on any lesson or task thrown at her. Having witnessed many sides of the business, she's grown a thick skin and admittedly, a thirst for making the family's enemies or competition suffer. Although she has a strong mind and ambitions of her own, she is extremely loyal to her father and never wants to disappoint him. Regardless of how independent they might be themselves, Camila also feels protective over her sisters, feeling her input may ease a little of their father's responsibility.

Camila is currently single, with mostly of her relationships lasting no more than a few weeks. Other than one ex who tried to be a little too pushy, Camila has so far been unable to find a man who can hold her interest for long. For better or worse, she has a preference for strong and intelligent men; ones who aren't afraid of a challenge!

BIOGRAPHY:
Maurice Leonardo Morello is the second son in the Morello clan, and it was quite clear from the beginning that he was never going to live up to his father's expectations. Even before Mariah was born, Leo made it clear he was going to be the wild child of the bunch. He wasn't happy to constantly be in his older brother's shadow, nor was he happy to become the older "protector" to his younger sister. In fact, when she was born, he slapped her across the face because he didn't know what else to do with her. Of course, he would come to pay for that for years to come, even if she never actually knew about it.

Leo never quite got out of the terrible twos, even as he got older. From toddler to teenager, he just got worse and worse when it came to his anger and tantrums. His mother and father were not the sensitive, show emotion types, and for that matter, neither was Alessandro. In fact, Leo and Mariah had enough emotion in them for the entire family, and it was definitely frowned upon. Leo was expected to be like Sandro, rigid and emotionless. Or at least, that's how Leo perceived him. But Leo was just never like that. He liked to have fun, he liked to play jokes and make others laugh. And yeah, he had a temper.

Thankful that he would never have to become the Don, since that was his older brother's place in line, Leo skated through school and spent more time hanging out with his friends than doing 'important, family' stuff. His parents eventually gave up on trying to teach him the Morello ways, deciding instead to focus on Sandro and perfecting him into the perfect future Don. Leo was perfectly fine with that, as it meant he could live his life and do what he wanted without having to worry about someone looking over his shoulder. Only he was never completely free from the watchful eye of his father, because his damn eyes were everywhere.

That's how his father found out about the girl he got pregnant. Leo was fooling around with a girl (well, a couple of girls, actually) and somehow, she ended up pregnant. His father only found out because she showed up at his house, hysterical, looking for Leo. Only Leo wasn't there, but his father was. His father pulled her into his office, where he promptly wrote her a check, paying her off to end the pregnancy. She left the house with the check, and Leo never heard from her again. The blowout when he found out what his father did was god-awful, but the girls phone was disconnected. Leo has no idea what happened to her. He was beaten severely for being so careless. He wasn't exactly miserable when the old man died, but his brother isn't much better in his eyes.

Vietto’s father was a Capo for the Morellos, so Vietto grew up in the world of crime and money. From a young age Vietto showed little interest in following his father’s footsteps. When the senior Vietto caught a couple bullets in the back and was paralyzed from the waist down, he campaigned for his son to take his place as Capo. Vietto reluctantly accepted his new role, and has tried to live up to his father’s name.

Vietto’s father, now retired and wheelchair bound, and mother live in Palm Springs and are trying to enjoy a slower paced life. Vietto is an only child so his closest family in Las Vegas is now the Morello family. A dark incident that Vietto does not speak of motivated him to deal with his drinking problem and get his gambling under control. Vietto still gambles, but now he’s on a winning streak so it’s mostly for fun.

BIOGRAPHY:
Courtney grew up in a loving household. Her father worked as a judge and her mother stayed at home to raise her and her younger sister, Emily. Courtney was a smart girl with a bright future ahead of her. Unfortunately, during her senior year of high school, Courtney’s father found himself presiding over a case that involved lackeys of the Salvatore Family. The Salvatores tried to bribe her father into dropping the case, but he wouldn’t take their money. On a stormy night, Courtney returned home from a friend’s house to find that her family had been murdered in cold blood. Her entire world was turned upside down that night, but instead of letting her anger and despair lead her down a dark path, she turned to law enforcement.

The police were never able to charge the Salvatores with the murder of Courtney’s family, so she joined the FBI training program in the hopes that one day she could avenge her family and bring down the mob family. Courtney quickly rose to the top of her class and graduated in less time than usual. Since joining the FBI as a junior agent, Courtney has been requesting to be on the investigation into the Salvatore family. Due to the conflict of interest though, her superiors have refused to allow her to look into the Salvatores. However, Courtney has just been given an assignment to go under cover and observe the other mob family in Las Vegas, the Morellos.

Courtney’s mission is simply to find a way into the family and observe in order to gain more information. Her supervisors have made it very clear that she not do anything reckless and try to take things into her own hands. Courtney hopes that by infiltrating the Morello family, she will actually be able to garner information about their rivals, the Salvatores. Investigating the Morello family is just a means to an end for her, as they aren’t her true target. She has now assumed the identity of Kassandra Tedesco.

Backstory:
Growing up in Russia as the only daughter of a high ranking military officer, Kira's childhood was a little different than the ones their peers had been blessed with. Ever since she was four her father taught her the ways of krav maga and when she was old enough to hold a weapon, the neverending shooting drills began as well. At first, Kira thought it was because his father always wanted a son so he was fulfilling his desire through Kira. Only later she realized it was because he wanted his girl to be able to take care of herself if anything happened to him. As a military officer, he could come to various harm and he did not want to risk his wife and daughter to end up completely defenseless.

When she reached 15, they moved to the USA. No questions asked. Where her dad went, the rest of the family followed. To this day, Kira has no idea what caused the relocation but could only guess something bad happened and her father needed to disappear somewhere no Russian agent would be looking for him. Little did her father know that the very same thing that was supposed to protect his life would actually bring him his demise. Kira's parents died in an explosion during a bank hostage drama. Kira was only 20 at the time. With nothing left, she decided to avenge her parents and track down the people behind her parents' deaths. Every single one of them. She knew it was probably a suicide mission but she was determined to make it out alive out of each encounter until they would all be swimming with the fish. It took her more than two years to complete her mission as her skills still were not on point and she had to spend some time recovering from said encounters as at first she always ended up with a shot wound or severely beaten up. Sure, she knew krav maga but practice and real life combat are incomparable, and not every time she was able to just take the people out with a sniper rifle. The encounters could get dirty at times.

It was then when she found out she actually liked hurting people and killing them. With no purpose in life after killing the thugs who killed her parents, Kira needed to find a new direction in life. Ever since her first kill she knew this was what she was born to do. She started with tracking down and killing various scum - pedofiles, rapists - people like that. People who thought they were so tough taking it out on defenseless people. She had to admit she was taking it a bit personally as she would be exactly that defenseless person would not it be for her father and she hated feeling like a prey. Without even knowing it, she soon made a name for herself among the mob circles and started being contacted by them for a job here and there. That is how she became a hitwoman for hire and she had to admit she liked it better than playing some vigilante. After all, this one brought her good money. After taking down some thugs of Morello's she caught the interest of their Don who made her an offer she just simply could not refuse and that is how Kira became their resident hitwoman.

Backstory:
Sonny comes from a long line of police officers, hence it was not a surprise he would follow in the family tradition. He always admired his father and always considered him a role model. He was one of the best cops in town and probably the most righteous man he knew. Many tried to corrupt him but they always failed. Ever since he was a small boy, his father taught him not to stand any injustice. Full of ideals, he started his job at the local police station, working his way up to homicides detective. However, the decline in the economy from a few years ago resulted in salaries going down significantly and Sonny started to realize the week before payday getting longer and longer with each month. With the disproportion between the risk-level of his job and the sum on the paycheck, Sonny soon became frustrated and started thinking whether it was all worth it. He was working his a** off just to be next to poor.

The longer it lasted the more his ideals started to crumble and when he found out about the corruption that was deeply rooted within the department, it was the last nail in his coffin of morale. Seeing how his fellow cops were living the high life working for the thugs with no one from the leadership paying it extra mind, it was only a matter of time before he would succumb to the temptation and accept his first cover job for the mob.

Once he had a taste of the luxurious lifestyle with cocaine, high-class prostitutes, and gambling, there was no turning back for Sonny. He now cooperates with both Salvatore’s and Morello’s, helping them cover up any evidence or leads for a nice thick envelope. He never gets involved in disputes the two families have between them. He is in it just to get keep his luxurious lifestyle and works for whoever provides him with the resources.
