Personality: T.L. is impulsive and hotheaded. He believes that everyone owes him something and never shows his soft side. He can also be very controlling on account of his ability.
Bio: Bio: T.L was born into a happy family on Februaty 14th, 2000. He lived the first 12 years of his life with a loving father, mother and younger sister.
One day, T.L's mother was killed in a car accident. Even though he'd lived with her for twelve years, she always seemed to be busy one way or another, so he never knew much about her even though she loved him so. Despite that, it deeply saddened the family. Soon enough, his father decided to remarry. But the woman he chose was nothing like the one who had sired his children. She was abusive and filled with hatred. T.L loathed her, but his father didn't, which T.L didn't understand. All he knew was that he and his father started to fight more and more frequently. His father was changing; it was almost as if the stepmother had him under some sort of spell. Violence in the household drove T.L over the edge. He got into gang activity and rarely came home. The only thing keeping him going was protecting his little sister, so he kept her as far away as possible from the gangs.
T.L's gang, the White Ravens, treated him like a new recruit. He underwent initiation by doing their bidding, and if he didn't they threatened him with knives. T.L soon grew tired of it. Why should he treat these fools like royalty if they were to treat him like dirt? It was no different than his house. So when Bertand, the leader of the gang, asked T.L to shine his shoes, he got to his feet and calmly told Bertrand to get on his knees in front of him. To his surprise, Bertrand actually did as he was told. T.L realized his voice had some kind of mind controlling properties and used it to assert himself as leader of the White Ravens. Now everyone else was doing his bidding. Finally, he was in control. One of the members recommended he dye his hair a different color, as it was customary for the leader to do so and it worked like the colors of a wasp to ward off rival gangs. T.L liked the idea and dyed a wide pink stripe reaching from the front of his hair to the back.
T.L rarely went home for any reason aside from climbing in the window to check on his sister. One day, he found her crying in her room and saw she had a cut under her eye. Enraged, he marched downstairs and demanded to know which of his parents had hurt her. The father meekly raised his hand, as if he was trying to fight it. The stepmother stood idly by and watched with a cruel smile on her face as T.L pulled a kitchen knife out of the dishwasher, handed it to his father and ordered him to cut himself under the eye as well. Just as he had given the order, T.L saw the blade pressed to his father's eye, then saw his sister watching with tears streaming down her face and immediately snapped out of his blind rage, yelling at his dad to stop. This was wrong. What had he become? In shock, he ran out of the house, never to return back there again.
T.L decided to leave everything behind; his family, his school, the White Ravens, everything. All he did was run. And after an extremely mismatched and terrifying cross-country journey, he found himself in the most unlikely of places; the school of mutants. There, he learned the truth about the strange abilities he had discovered within himself.
Now, T.L. has a reputation for getting into trouble. He frequently sneaks off campus and terrorizes other students to sedate the need for power that came with him discovering his ability. Shortly afterwards, he was joined by his sister. While she considered it destiny, T.L. was just happy to see her alive and well, and surprised to see that she had discovered abilities of her own.
