In theory, there is the train ride and sorting ceremony that really just needs the first-year students so if we aren't waiting on another first year we could do that?

To be fair the train ride would include other students I'm not actually sure of the ride they train according to year and the sorting hat ceremony also requires the other students and teachers since usually, the older students welcome the new arrivals to their respective houses and everyone is introduced to the professors and other staff.

Hey guys, I can't believe I'm saying this at last, but we are ready to start! >w<
I just have a couple technical issues to work out with the character and main thread, but then they should be up!
Feel free to start working on your posts (student characters should start at home or on platform 9 & 3/4 and end up on the Hogwarts express).
All prefects should go to the prefects carriage to get their instructions from the Head Boy and Girl.
Everybody else, pick a compartment to be in (they will be labeled 1 through 4- no more than six people per compartment, please).
Feel free to plot with each other in advance to decide which characters get to meet/take the trip in the same carriage ^^
Professors are encouraged to start at home or at Hogwarts (but you can definitely wait to post for them!).
Ministry workers can start at home, at the Ministry, on assignment... Again, feel free to plot!
I'm so excited to finally get this started! >w<

I think we should consider the ones who don't know each other (first years, mostly) sitting together while the upper years would likely sit together with those they know.
