Fantasy Tales of Enreon [Lore]

PavellumPendulum

professional gay kid
Within the continent of Enreon, a Pangea of sorts on an unknown planet, there are 5 countries, each with their own strengths and faults. Go forth, Heroes of Enreon!

This RP will center around a guild named the Heroes of Enreon, based in Haerith, a guild mostly created in the hopes of giving hope to the locals and retaliating against the Madoran occupation. Where will they lead Enreon and how will they shape the future? Well, that's up to us.

OOC | RP | CHARACTERS

ARDETHE
Leader: King Lysas Pentaghast IV
Positioning, climate, geography: Northern country with borders mostly dictated by mountainous trails. Powerful barriers of magic surround all their major cities, with magical passes (imprints) being needed to pass through. The country experiences dreadfully cold winters and painfully blistering summers, with little in between to allow it’s people rest after each extreme. The rough terrain makes it difficult to farm, so most of their food is either imported through trade routes or grown with magic. Their capital is named Cemraelle. (in Ancient Tsorani Tongue - the ancient language of the settling mages -, it means ‘mage heart’)
Societal Description: The Ardethian society is a proud one. Though primarily focused on history, tradition and the development of magic, they can be power-hungry when attempting to prove the mage’s superiority to the rest of the world. Due to this, they are quite a large country, having annexed a few smaller civilizations after their settlement by The Glorious (the initial group of nomadic mages that founded Ardethe). They respect tradition above all and love to hold festivals and erect monuments to stroke their egos. They do humor other practices in neighboring countries and believe all traditions must be respected, but in a way that is obviously showing that they believe their way is still the best. Their economy runs off of magical services, mostly sold to tourists interested in magic.
Other key figures:
  1. Queen Raeka Pentaghast
  2. Princess Paizacem Pentaghast
General information:
  • In the winter, Ardethians wear heavy robes. In the summer? … Lighter robes. Showing off skin is taboo and showing much lower than the neck is something to be ashamed of. Typically during festivals, Ardethians wear specialized robes, infused with magic to shine. These robes are typically slightly transparent (though still modest), and in their national colors: navy blue and deep violet.
  • Marriage is a sacred ritual in which the two getting married are soulbound with magic, which means they can feel each other’s emotions, with a magic infused ring, no matter how far apart they are. Divorce is unheard of and people are not allowed to remarry once they have been widowed. After the death of one's partner, the surviving party is to return their body to the ground (cremation then a burial) and the deceased’s wedding ring is then attached to a necklace for the other to wear.
  • All Ardethian citizens are required to serve a minimum of two years in the military once they are of age (21).
  • Their education system comprises of Grade 1 through Grade 13. After completing those grades, they move onto 3 years of post secondary, in which they choose their magic specializations. Magic is typically split into the four elements, however there are more intricate types that require much more knowledge or experience such as healing. Blood magic and necromancy exists, however it is forbidden and extremely dangerous. Death spells are urban myths but blood magic makes it possible to control another being, making it extremely volatile and dangerous. Most mages are taught the basic elements and are allowed to major and minor in more specific types should they choose to continue their education.
  • Their current official language is Tsorani, however there exist rural populations that still speak Ancient Tsorani and do not understand neighboring languages as they tend to be cut off.
  • As Ardethe inches it’s borders closer into Saint Loelle’s many onlookers fear the annexation of the smaller country. The Ardethians, however, are more than happy to “save” the Loeians from their allegedly inferior way of life.
  • The official religion in Ardethe is Glorianism, in which they worship the leader of the Glorious: Sarcem Dethe, as the creator of all that exists. However, there are traces of Lanneism in the countryside due to immigrants.
  • Aurophylite is used amongst the mages as an amplifying tool in staffs and magical ornaments, though it is difficult to find due to the dwindling supply in Ardethe and Madora Ezos’ refusal to trade with them.
ISLANDS OF RESERUZA
Leader: Chief Minister Melarue-Jei
Positioning, climate, geography: Reseruza is an island nation south of the main continent of Enreon. It spans over 200 small islands surrounding a main hook of land off of Enreon. Many call it the Sunshine Land, mostly because the various islands, from above, make it look like the mainland is sparkling. It has a tropical climate, filled with thick rainforests and long spans of beaches. It is known for it’s ridiculously large wildlife. All the villages are situated in large communities of treehouses, and it is rare to see a home on the ground. The capital is named Coquericot-Tza-Laike, a mouthful that means “the stars align for Laike” in their native tongue, Laike being the elder tree which is the center of the city.
Societal Description: Reseruza was originally founded by clairvoyants of all races, as a society centered around astronomy and the concept of the future. Magic and technology are intertwined here, in this democratic society surrounded by tropical forests. Each village is centered around an elder tree foreseen by a clairvoyant. (As one can see, clairvoyant abilities are widely respected amongst them.) Though it’s land is scattered Reseruza has not bowed to neighboring powers, and is renowned for it’s magical inventions and military prowess: not in brute strength, but in strategy. It is a rival of Ardethe, and has pledged to protect Saint Loelle in the event that Ardethe attempts to completely annex it. They have a weaker economy due to all the traveling products have to do in order to be imported and exported. Their main exports are exotic fruits and animals.
Other key figures:
  1. The Council of Reseruza, comprised of 20 councillors, each representing a minimum of 10 islands
  2. Deputy Chief Minister Elaro-Querie
Trivia/Fun Facts:
  • The Reseruzan government is democratic, and councilor elections take place once a year. The chief minister and deputy chief minister positions are reassigned every 5 years, and though one can be re-elected, they can only serve up to a maximum of 2 terms (10 years).
  • The official language of Reseruza is Laike-Ten (Laike’s Tongue), however there are multiple other local languages spoken amongst the various islands due to previous isolation before the unification of the country. The two secondary common tongues are Sy-Mezi (ocean language) and Bels-Petri (The Elder’s Words).
  • The concept of family is near non-existent in Reseruza. All children, after conception, are sent to live and be educated by a town clairvoyant. Most villages have a ratio of 1 clairvoyant to 30 children. The closest thing to parental figures these children have are the clairvoyants, but they are solely there to teach the children how to be self-sufficient, then lead them to their destiny. Children stay under the care of their clairvoyant until the age of 20, then they are left to fulfill their roles in society. Clairvoyants, when the children leave them, typically bestow upon the child their middle name.
  • Names in Reseruza are typically formatted as follows: Given Name, -, Middle name from their clairvoyant. There are no such things as family names.
  • Due to the spread of Loeian immigrants over the years, fleeing Ardethe, the main religion is Lanneism, having overtaken the original religion of Reseruza: Yen-Yei-Tza (“sun, moon, stars”). This original pantheon consists of three gods, Yen, Yei and Tza who created the universe and bestowed their kin with the ability to foresee the future. According to mythology, the reason why clairvoyants are made and not born (a clairvoyant must bless a predestined childbearer that they foresee) is that Yen, alone in the sky when the stars and moon as each other, revoked this innate ability from the mortals to spite them.
  • Reseruza is a matriarchal society. Most people in positions of power are women, and those who are male tend to mostly be figureheads. Many centuries ago, Reseruza was patriarchal and considered women to be property under the reign of the Wawix (an extremist cult that was developed during Reseruza’s early settlers). There was a revolt, along with the 50 Years War, which left the Wawix defeated by the evolving Reseruza. Now, the prejudice has been turned more onto men, and though it is not as demeaning, Reseruza still has not reached a state of equality.
SAINT LOELLE
Leader: Dowager Queen Thiscone Safiya Cathéloellum of Saint Loelle
Positioning, climate, geography: Saint Loelle is a smaller country, situated west of Ardethe on the coast of Enreon. It is completely shadowed by the mountainous Ardethian terrain, transitioning into heavy forests then sandy beaches and high cliffs over the ocean. They mostly get short winters, then a rainy season, followed by a long summer which takes up most of their year. Their capital city is named Loellann (“servants of the immortals” in Loe). Their lush forests make farmed goods one of their main exports, alongside fisheries and ocean resources. Their worship of the balance between earth and water sparked their Festival of Flowers (Sylpha yue Zsuikassen), which is widely visited in the summer.
Societal Description: Peaceful but of weak chin, Saint Loelle has lost much of it’s land over the years to neighboring powers. It was originally founded by elves and forest spirit clans, though through years of ongoing wars with the mages, the Ardethian influence over their society has skyrocketed. Now, mages hold political power in Saint Loelle, much to many elves chagrin. Religion plays a large role in their society, and it is rare that anyone identifies outside of their official religion, Lanneism. Their society values harmony and is extremely pacifistic as whole, however the growing tension between the original founding race and the newer mage additions grows by the day. Many believe a civil war is on it’s way.
Other key figures:
  1. The Late King Ceres Peidiant Pheloellum of Saint Loelle
  2. Prince Ceres Valos Lamphael Cathéloellum of Saint Loelle - eldest prince
  3. Prince Ceres Lussander Théva Cathéloellum of Saint Loelle - middle prince
  4. Princess Ceres Aleffi Yva Cathéloellum of Saint Loelle - youngest princess
Trivia/Fun Facts:
  • All citizens born in Saint Loelle are considered to have descended from a god within their pantheon, as they believed that gods lived amongst the mortals rather than on another plane of existence. God ancestors are normally dictated by the eldest of the couple’s god ancestor, thus that is the one that gets passed onto their kin. (Gods: Cathé, Phel, Deje, Darya, Havea, Zsuika, Soltza) Family names are passed down from the youngest of the couple.
  • All names in Saint Loelle follow this format: Family name, Given name, Middle name if any, Name of their god ancestor + loellum, - of Saint Loelle. Their names tend to get ridiculously long. The suffix -loellum means ‘humble servant’ in Loe, their official language. Most citizens are bilingual and taught both Loe and Tsorani due to the strong influence Ardethe has over Saint Loelle.
  • The growing underground rebellion of elves and forest spirits, named Porrillann-Havea (Warriors of the Immortal’s Kin) has yet to bare its teeth fully to the kingdom, but word has it that they are preparing to strike as civil unrest rises.
  • Rumors have been circulating that the current mage dowager Safiya murdered her late husband, the elf king Peidant, in order to secure the throne for her kind. The grieving queen seems outraged by these claims, though it is not certain whether they are true or not.
  • Polyamory is common in Saint Loelle. It is rare that families only have two parental figures. Typically households consist of 10 people or more. Heterosexuality is fairly uncommon, though not ridiculously rare. Same sex couples are the norm, and will mate heterosexually only for procreational reasons.
  • Loeian people attend school at the age of 10 through 15, as parents are expected to teach them the basics before schooling. At 15, they are of age, and thus allowed to either pursue their studies or take up employment. Note that if they choose higher education, they must seek it elsewhere, as post-secondary education does not exist in Saint Loelle.
  • The gods represent facets of Loeian society and each has a color associated with them. Followers of these gods wear their respective colors, and such colors are put on display during their respective worship day (each is an annual holiday).
    • Cathé - yellow - (goddess of harmony/balance)
    • Phel - blue - (god of nature/new life)
    • Deje - brown - (god of death/rebirth/cycles/time)
    • Darya - purple - (goddess of beauty/art/history/tradition)
    • Havea - pink - (god of family/loyalty/kin)
    • Zsuika - green - (goddess of the land/soul)
    • Soltza - red - (god of love/bonds)
    • Zsuika, the maternal elder god, is mother to all secondary gods. Deje and Phel are the paternal elder gods. Deje’s children are Darya and Soltza. Phel’s children are Cathé and Havea.
MADORA EZOS
Leader: Xiekoah
Positioning, climate, geography: Madora Ezos is the center of Enreon, bordered by basically every other country. Luckily, it’s gigantic. It spans most of the continent, taking in parts of Ardethe’s mountainous ranges to Reseruza’s thick forests. Gigantic mines eat up the earth in groups, mottling the ground with the intent of pulling all the resources they can from it. Cities are large and far apart, and small communities are nearly unheard of. Everything is mostly constructed from stone and the like, adorned with precious stones and metals. Food is produced without excess, as everything is always accounted for. The farms circle the cities like clockwork, alongside heavy stone walls filled with artillery as a defensive tactic. It’s capital city is called Weylin, which means “justice” in their native tongue, Madorian.
Societal Description: Madora Ezos is a militaristic society, inhabited mostly by warriors. They have little time for anyone else. Here, physical prowess is your only valued trait and if you aren’t ready to fill those shoes then you aren’t ready to live here. They are unapologetic and care more for conquest than anything, but have been shown to, for political reasons, play the social game. They have heavy influence in Haerith and seem to be eyeing Saint Loelle, much to most other societies’ chagrin. They are a proud nation, not to mention aggressive, so heaven forbid anyone refuse them anything. Madora Ezos used to be bigger, taking up portions of Ardethe, but due to recent wars, they seem to have withdrawn from that territory. Rivalry between them has sprouted, since they both have their eyes on Saint Loelle.
Other key figures:
  1. Zyddrei - Xiekoah’s most well-known concubine
  2. Xiekoah’s 20 other concubines
Trivia/Fun Facts:
  • Family is unheard of in Madora Ezos. All citizens are property of the state, A.K.A the military. Recreational sex is always allowed, however procreational sex is orchestrated, and is ordered by the government. To refuse an order of any sort is treason, sometimes punishable by death depending on the offense. Children are the product of two citizens within the same caste, to prevent the mixing of “unworthy” blood with “gifted” blood. At birth, children are in the same caste as their biological parents, (though it should be noted that they do not know who they are), but when they turn 12, they are tested for caste reassignment. It is rare, however, that one is actually reassigned.
  • The castes are as follows, from lowest to highest - Ithyn -> Una -> Yisra -> Xie
    • Ithyn are farmers, slaves, miners and merchants. These are people that show no proficiency in war, thus are simply used to provide resources for the country. This is the most populated caste, though mostly due to the slave population. Though it is possible for slaves to be of Madora Ezos, most slaves are foreign prisoners or simply abducted (usually from Haerith). Ithyn are not allowed to own property. They are provided housing and the essentials by the state and little else.
    • Una are prostitutes and sex-workers. They are respected more than Ithyn, mostly because Una garner quite a profit in this country. Typically, Una are invited by noble blood to be concubines and tend to live life in lush extravagance though of course, not by their own hand. They have no power over most things and are not allowed to own property.
    • Yisra are warriors and are generally well respected. They are allowed to own property and can have a say in some matters within the government, though not many. It should be noted that Ithyn and Una do not receive any type of headstone when they die, but Yisra and Xie do.
    • Xie are the nobles and the most talented warriors. They are the 1% in Madora Ezos but own 99% of it. Most slaves and Una belong to them, and they lead the country. All those within the Xie caste have Xie attached to their name, whether it be at the start or at the end.
  • Religion doesn’t exist in Madora Ezos. The closest thing to it is the worship of the current dictator. Each month, Ithyn and Una are required to pay tribute at shrines for the current dictator, usually precious stones. Generally, religion is frowned upon, as Madora Ezos believes more in something close to evolution rather than creationism.
  • The Madorian language is all that is spoken amongst most of the caste. Xie and ambassadors tend to the be the only ones who learn foreign tongues. Xenophobia runs rampant in Madora Evos and elves tend to be the most frowned upon. Most slaves tend to be elves abducted from Saint Loelle or Haerith.
  • Madora Ezos is powered by either mage slaves or the precious stone they’re most known for: Aurophylite. Aurophylite is a black gem found mostly in Madora, but can also be found scattered in the Ardethian mountains. When inactive, it looks like a rock, making it easy to mistake it for coal. Activating the gem requires an intense amount of heat, usually either another piece of Aurophylite or pure fire. When active, the gem reveals it’s true colors, containing magical properties. The color determines how much amplifying energy is stored within the gem within this order, from weakest to most powerful: Grey -> White -> Pink -> Orange -> Red. Red Aurophylite is worth a fortune and normally only passed around amongst nobles, despite it being extremely volatile. Passing too much energy through it could result in an explosion.
  • Gender does not exist in Madora. Though Madorans can be considered feminine or masculine presenting, they do not use gender specific pronouns. “It” would be the most accurate translation to their version of the 3rd person singular pronoun, as all citizens are considered property and not much else.
  • Casteless Madorans are those who are criminals/have abandoned the ways of Ezos (meaning “the law” in Madoran, a strict code of conduct Madorans must follow). They are typically referred to as Exas, or, “without the law”. If they are not enslaved or executed, they must flee their homeland, typically for Haerith, but with the recent invasion, they’ve had to move farther into Reseruza.
HAERITH
Leader: King Meimeron Peiros
Positioning, climate, geography: Haerith takes up the eastern coast of Enreon, a long strip of land that has been whittled away at over the centuries. It is dwarfed by it’s neighbors and only slightly bigger than Saint Loelle. Much like Saint Loelle, it’s been a punching bag over the centuries, with a dwindling population due to the slave trade and increasing military presence from Madora Ezos. The land is mostly used for huge farms and small, tight-knit communities. Trade thrives, and many trade routes have been established over the rolling hills and fertile lands. Other than hills, it’s mostly just plains and lakes. Season wise, it’s similar to Ardethe. It’s capital city is Hono, meaning “sister” in Loe, due to Reseruza’s initial close ties to Haerith during it’s birth.
Societal Description: Haerith seems to be a melding pot of cultures. Originally, it was a colony of Reseruza, but it sought it’s independence after a few decades, due to influences from Ardethe and Madora Ezos shaping more of their society than their original motherland. Humans, elves, spirits, free mages and casteless Madorans have been seeking refuge here for centuries, but with the recent Madoran invasion, it had become more dangerous to stay. Haerith’s population dwindles as more are abducted for the Xie as slaves.
Other key figures:
  1. General Xiekazt - Meimeron is a political puppet, as with the Madoran influence Xiekazt controls Haerith from the shadows.
  2. The Late King Valea Peiros - Meimeron’s husband, who was killed during the inital Madoran invasion.
Trivia/Fun Facts:
  • Haerith does not have much of it’s own culture. Religion-wise, most of the population follows either Lanneism or Yen-Yei-Tza. Loe is the common language, though the majority of their people are bilingual or even trilingual. Haerith’s education system is based off of Saint Loelle’s.
  • It’s been a few years since Madoran forces started occupying Haerith and terrorizing it’s citizens. Though they spout propaganda of this being the only way for them to protect the locals from Ardethe (they love to demonize the mages), abduct citizens as tribute and demand a portion of their taxes, Haerith has not been able to drive them out due to sheer lack of force.
  • Same sex couples are the norm in Haerith.Though heterosexuals are not outright discriminated against, they are considered to be incredibly odd.

Races
RACES

Elves - Elves tend to be fair-skinned, with pale hair colors and colored clan markings tattooed upon their body to denote what god ancestor they came from (the belief of god ancestors was adopted by other races in Saint Loelle as well). They are typically lithe and without much mass. They look humanoid, save for the long, pointed ears and different eye colors (typically extremely pale or bright colors). Most elves pick up archery due to the lack of arcane blood in their ancestry, and their inability to put on much muscle. Elves have been known to mate with their own kind or forest spirits, with the odd sprinkling of humans. Mating with mages or madora is frowned upon. All elves hail from Saint Loelle, but they mostly live in either their homeland, Reseruza, Haerith or Madora Ezos (as slaves).

Mages - Mages are basically humans with arcane blood. Through careful breeding over the centuries, their blood has become so untainted that they have separated into another race, one capable of amplifying their arcane energy into magic. Aesthetically, mages look no different from humans. Mating with anyone outside of their race is practically treason against their genetic pool. Most mages live in Ardethe, but there is a small chunk of the population in Saint Loelle that is comprised of mages.

Humans - Humans are quite self-explanatory. They are typically either rangers or warriors, though cannot wield magic as their blood is not suited for it. Some humans have small amounts of arcane blood within them, but not nearly enough to channel the energy into the physical world. They inhabit Saint Loelle, Reseruza and Haerith, due to the hostile environments in Ardethe and Madora Ezos. Humans typically don’t look down upon any type of interracial relations, but they are side eyed due to being odd.

Madora - Madora are typically taller than humans, and more built. Their skin is typically pure white, with splatters of black and grey, resembling freckles, all over their bodies. Most are warriors due to their constitution and Madoran teachings. At the age of 12, Madorans receive a brand on both hands with a symbol indicating their caste. - ❅ (Xie) - ⌾ (Yisra) - ⌽(Una) - ⍬ (Ithyn) - Madoran’s eyes are typically black, with a bright but thin outer rim, typically violet or blue. Mating outside their race is treason. If you see a Madoran outside of Madora Ezos, they’re probably a spy, a diplomat, both or here to declare war.

Dryads/Forest Spirits/Elementals - Forest spirits inhabit all living plants, from tree dryads to dandelion spirits. There is no specific look for such beings, especially elementals since they tend to be invisible. Most have a faint glow to them, as if they were ethereal, with pale skin being either blue or green. All of these beings have golden eyes. They tend to be fearful of fire, since they are terribly vulnerable to it. Many of these beings have greenery growing upon them, such a branches growing like horns, thorny hair or vines encircling their limbs. Such beings do not have genders, nor are they capable of bearing children. If such a being were to mate, it would have to be with another race, in which the other holds the child. Typically, these beings return to the earth when they die, and become a new plant, thus making a technically immortal race, unless their remains are prevented from entering the ground. They typically live in Saint Loelle, Reseruza or Haerith.

*Though clairvoyants can be considered a race, they are made clairvoyant by being blessed before the birthing process, meaning they are also some other race. The mark of a clairvoyant is a marking upon their forehead, a birthmark to show their blessing, in the shape of a crescent moon facing upwards, followed by two thick strokes up to their hairline.

Clairvoyants are not fertile and cannot have children: thus why they must bless unborn babies instead. Rather than seeing a future set in stone, clairvoyants can simply see possibilities. How far into a possibility depends on the clairvoyant themselves, but typically clairvoyants cannot see much more than a year into a possibility.

Magic
MAGIC
Magic is the physical manifestation of arcane power from within one's blood. Those that are less than 50% full-blood mage tend to either be unable to manifest this power, or just barely be able to use it, which is why mages tend to mate only within their race to ensure powerful mages with higher concentrations of arcane ability within them. Of course, being this power is derived from their blood, it has it's limitations. Arcane power is not "used up" but channeling it elsewhere from one's body does take a toll on them physically. The body exerts energy converting the power into something tangible thus, using too many spells in a short amount of time makes mages exhausted. If pushed too far, they have been known to pass out and or have nose bleeds, depending on the strain. One of the ways mages get past this is using a staff. Not only do staffs help center their energies, they also usually have Aurophylite or some other type of gem to take the strain of converting energy. These gems, when not very powerful, tend to only last a year or two depending on the frequency of their usage, and crack when faced with too much energy.

The foundation of magic is based upon the four elements: water, earth, air and fire. Ardethians, from elementary to high school, are taught to master the summoning and controlling of these elements as the basics. Offensive magic is considered the primary base of their military, and as all citizens are required to serve after post secondary, they make sure everyone can at least fight decently, regardless of their major or minor.

Once in post-secondary, the list of options becomes ridiculously long. Magic is incredibly complex, and studying it's structure and the origins of arcane energy is near impossible. All mages in post secondary are required to have one major and two minors. Though this list is not complete, here are some possible choices of study:
  • ice
  • healing
  • light/shadows
  • illusion/conjuration
  • summoning and binding of spirits
  • lightning
  • energy absorption
  • weapon enchantment
  • charmspeak

MAGIC IN ENREON

Ardethe: Here, magic is celebrated. Not being able to use magic makes you no better than a human, and we all know that Ardethians care little for anyone outside of their race. This is the only place where magic is the foundation of their curriculum, thus their mages are usually quite proficient. Most mages elsewhere can usually only do base magic.

Madora Ezos: Magic is seen as a tool here. Considered to be dangerous, most, if not all mages are kept as slaves. They fuel the city with their power, and are considered less than sentient. The price of arcane blood is heavy, and most mages die within a year or two of their abduction. As if to torture them further, mage slaves do not receive their Ithyn branding on their hands like the rest of the population. They receive theirs on their cheeks.

Reseruza: Magic is accepted here, though there is not a large population of mages. The clairvoyants, over time, have made a mass statement that the mages are not to be considered dangerous, thus the general belief of the population is that that is true. Magic is not honed here, but those who do specialize in magic only tend to know the four elements and healing magic, as it is the only type that is taught if necessary. Destructive magic is frowned upon heavily.

Saint Loelle: Magic is feared in Saint Loelle. This is mostly due to Ardethe's heavy influence on their elven population: the majority of elves fear mages, thus in turn, fear their magic. Ardethe's influence has made some magic part of the curriculum, though their citizens only attend schooling for 5 years, thus it is not much. Mages born here usually know nothing but the basics, and must travel to Ardethe to pursue their studies.

Haerith: Magic is generally accepted in Haerith. Though many have begun to fear it due to the incessant propaganda the Madoran occupation churns out, the general belief mirrors that of Reseruza. However, many lack the bloodline to even perform magic here, especially with the dwindling population, thus it is not quite something that is openly honed.

Porrillan-Havea
PORRILLAN-HAVEA

Due to the growing power of mages in Saint Loelle, the rebellion dubbed the Porrillan-Havea has begun to rise from the shadows. Mostly filled with elves and forest spirits as they slowly lose bits and pieces of their culture and way of life to Ardethe. The rebellion is lead by a half elf, half air elemental going under the alias named Chassis. No one knows their true name, but Chassis has rallied a network of cutthroat spies to help bring the 'rightful' owners of the land back into power by pushing Ardethe out. Though they try to avoid bloodshed, it is not out of the question for them to commit assassinations from the shadows rather than do full blown attacks. Though they fight for a good cause, their methods can be a bit... Cruel, some have noted. The current Queen has denounced them, and tension only continues to rise as more join their ranks.

It should be noted that Porrillan-Havea tends to also have an anti-Madoran stance, since they are also like Ardethe in the way they try to expand their influence, though it is in a far more militaristic way. Looking at it that way, technically the Heroes of Enreon are their allies, if your enemy's enemy is a friend. So far, it seems that they are merely scoping the other faction out, however, and no talks of negotiation have been brought up. Ardethians tend to view this faction as a temper tantrum, but other than that no one pays too much attention to them since they do most of their work secretly.
