    CHARACTER PAGE

Here is the info that I would like included in your character sheets. All of this information must be included in your sheet if you want your character to be considered for acceptance. Additionally, feel free to add any information that you feel will help people understand your character. All face claims must be realistic and be of a model, celebrity, actor, ect. not a normal person (ie. your next door neighbor lol). Also, they must be age appropriate. For example, don't use a 40 year old actor to be the face claim for your 23 year old character, obviously the age doesn't have to exactly match, but make it as close as possible. Feel free to use whatever coding you want or none at all, its your choice.
The deadline for the sheets is Saturday May 30th. Then the best fitting characters will be chosen for the rp.

Note: If you would like to do your personality in paragraph form instead of lists, that's fine.
    Plot:
A small country town, with more ranches and farms than large buildings. Where in the morning you smell hay and cow patties and at night you can see all of the stars and hear every cricket. Where the summer means campfires and fun at the lake, and the winter means football and the town Christmas festival.

Five years ago, this group of friends finished high school and began adult life, each going in their own direction. Now is their hometown's second bicentennial, and it's a big deal. It will be the biggest celebration the town has ever seen and it will welcome visitors from all over the state to take part in the week long celebration and festivities.

Everyone in the group has decided to attend the celebration, whether they are still in town or will be returning, their reunion is inevitable. And while some of their attendance is predictable, some will be making surprise returns. How have they all changed or not changed, and what will their reunion look like?

So, its not my best written plot, but I think it gets the idea across lol.
Basically, in high school they all hung out...whether they were friends or dated someone in the group, they somehow ended up in this tight nit group at the end of high school. They all went their separate ways in life and now they will all come face to face for the first time in five years.
Honestly, I wanted to make a reunion rp (cause my last one died RIP) and I wanted to make a cowboy character...so here we are.

Colt Remington
s10Ya9q.jpg
Name: Colton Remington
Nickname: Colt
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Occupation: Professional Bull Rider
Relationship Status: Recently Single
Role: Guy 3

Persona:
Colt is for the most part an easy-going guy. Not much of anything bothers him, and he has no problem going with the flow. He is a people person, and he gets along with just about anyone, as long as they are respectful. Disrespect is the one thing that can quickly turn him from friend to enemy. Colt can be very blunt and has no problem speaking his mind and that often gets him in trouble. While he is comfortable befriending anyone, he keeps few close friends, only trusting a handful of people.

Colt has never met a challenge that he didn’t want to accept. He loves the thrill of trying something that seems crazy or impossible. If it gets his adrenaline up, you can count him in. And once he puts his mind to doing something, he is going to do it, even if it takes him a while to figure out how to do it. That is both a blessing and a curse for him. It is one of the things that has gotten him into a lot of the trouble he has been in in his life, but it is also why he has had success in his career.

Colt loves competition and the thrill of winning. Whether he takes loss well is debatable. He is the kind of guy that if he loses at something, he will get upset, but the upset will drive him to get better or find another way to succeed. The upset of losing or not succeeding at something is one of the few things that get Colt angry, and that can often lead to him having an angry outburst. Those emotions though, come from the passion that he puts into the things that he does. He is not one to half ass anything, if he is going to do it, then he is all in.

Vices:
≁ Impulsive
≁ Stubborn
≁ Impatient
Virtues:
≁ Honest
≁ Charming
≁ Passionate
Like:
≁ Riding almost anything (bulls, motorcycles, horses, ect.)
≁ Joking around
≁ Action movies
Dislikes:
≁ Cold Weather
≁ Long car rides
≁ Stuck up people

Face Claim: Bonner Bolton
Hair color: Brown
Eye color: Blue
Height: 5' 11
Weight: 165 lbs
Distinguishing Features: Tattoos on his chest and arms

Biography:
Colt is the youngest of three sons born of Jackson and Mary Remington. His mother often says that Colt was born with an unnatural energy. From the time he could walk, Colt was trying to keep up and chasing after his older brothers. He had a happy and loving childhood. His father was a kindhearted tough guy and his mother a caring teacher. His father worked at one of the local ranches and his mother was a homemaker and caregiver to him and his brothers. And while they were never a rich family, they were well taken care of and the boys learned the value of working hard to earn what they want and needed at a young age.

When Colt was eight, his life was forever changed when his family attended the rodeo that happened two towns over. As Colt watched the bulls buck and whip around trying to get the cowboys off their backs, he thought there was nothing better in the world. From that point on, his mind was set on being a bull rider. His parents of course didn’t let him anywhere near a bull, but he began following the sport and looking up to his favorite riders.

In school, Colt was always getting in trouble. His high energy was often too much for his teachers to handle, and he was always doing wild stunts on the school yard. As he got older, the stunts he pulled got crazier and crazier. When he entered high school, his father got him a job at one of the ranches in town, his parents believing that the job would help him burn off some of his extra energy and stay out of trouble. While they were right that he did stop getting in trouble at school, he instead focused his extra energy into something else they didn’t approve of.

While the ranch job was a way for Colt to stay out of trouble and make money to help his family, he also had access to the bulls on the ranch. He struck a secret deal with the rancher he worked for so that he could practice riding with some of the experienced guys in town. He spent all of his free time at the ranch practicing, without his parents' knowledge. Unfortunately, his secret came to light, when he was sixteen and he broke his arm during one of his practice rides. His parents were furious and put a stop to not only him riding any bulls, but him working at the ranch.

Colt spent the rest of his teen years hanging out with his friends and trying to stay out of trouble, but his mind was still set on the rodeo. His parents did their best to steer his future goals toward other things, but they weren’t successful. As soon as he turned eighteen, Colt reached out to a small traveling rodeo and began setting up a job working for them the next summer. And as soon as school ended, he was on his way out of town to chase his dream.

As Colt worked and traveled with the rodeo, he learned from and practiced with the bull riders, taking in as much of their advice he could before finally getting his opportunity to ride in the rodeo. Once he had his first real ride, in front of the crowd, Colt knew this was what he was meant to do. The next few years he spent working his way up the rodeo circuit, trying to reach the pros. Those years filled with alot of pain and sacrifice as well as many, many injuries.

During his time away from home, his parents faced many hardships financially, and that only drove Colt even more to go pro and make big money. When he finally got the call to be a part of his first professional tour, his career began changing very quickly. He did well in the tour and placed in the top ten, with that he not only gained popularity and money, but more professional opportunities.

Colt has been riding in the biggest tours for a little over a year now, and the amount of injuries he has gotten have increased. Even worse, because of the level he is riding at, he has less time to heal those injuries in between competitions. While he is finally doing what he loves, it is taking a toll on him. His family and close friends all want him to quit, but he has yet to reach the top and he doesn’t want to give up.

RP specific background:
Colt is currently taking a forced break from competition while he is healing from a serious neck injury. When his mother told him about the town celebration, he saw it as a great opportunity to return home and visit his family that he hasn’t seen much since leaving home.

BIO

The small town has always been too small to contain all Carolina’s dreams. The girl dreamt and dreamt big, she was never afraid to and always shared with people. Most of the time, they laughed, told her it was unreal and that she would be lucky to graduate, marry a nice boy a become a soccer mom. Hell to the no, the girl was not born to drive some old rusty pickup and drive her children up and down the town.

Don’t get her wrong, she loved her hometown, she loved the people. It just…wasn’t enough. As a kid, she only dreamt about owning a horse a ride it any time she wanted. But it was a version of Cari which was 5 years old. The older she got, the more she knew that this town was not her destiny and that she had some bigger fate in front of her. Her eyes were always lit, going through the magazines and watching TV. She didn’t want to be just another pretty model face. She wanted to be THE face. Her parents never really identified themselves with these fantasies but they let Cari have them, thinking they would dissolve into a thin air once she graduates.

Little did they knew that desire for success and something more was growing in Carolina with every passing day. She has developed a strong sense for fashion and her outfits more than often didn’t match the basic style of the country town. How often did she have to bear the looks and chuckles? Only the closest group of friends at high school was understanding and she got all the support she needed. If it weren’t for them, Cari would probably really stay in town and never tried her luck.

Come the graduation, Carolina gave tight hugs to all friends, promising to stay in touch, kissed her parents on their cheeks and packed her bags. The big world was awaiting her. Nothing less than New York would have done at that point and so she sat on the bus on with her eyes lit, she was off to a new adventure.

It took long. A lot of hard work, tears, sweat and blood. A lot of rejection, a lot of almost giving up. But in the end, Cari did get her happy ending and got noticed by a major cosmetic brand. They liked her headshots and asked her to come for try-outs. It was at the time she really thought she was about to pack her bags and return home, ready to be laughed at. But this must have been a sign. She went, tried out and…GOT IT!

It was the beginning of an amazing journey for this small-town girl. She had that kind of story behind her, her big doe eyes and cheeky grin that captivated people from billboards and catalogues. Carolina lived the time of her life for years there. Her parents finally recognized her success and forgave her not starting the college. Carolina Chase became the trademark name in the industry.
RP SPECIFIC BACKGROUND: After five years of back-to-back photoshoots, traveling around the world, presentations and all that jazz, Carolina felt a pinch in the pit of her stomach. That pinch came with the announcement of her hometown’s celebration of its bicentennial. Suddenly, Carolina felt incredibly homesick. Her thoughts ran back to the small town and her friends, all the memories, adventures, funny stories… Suddenly, she was back. At that point, she knew she needed to go. Possibly her old group of friends might come back as well and even though they promised each other to keep in touch, Cari slowly lost contacts with all of them. The urge to see them all again was extremely strong and within an hour, Carolina cancelled all of her meetings and photoshoots, despite her agent not being the happiest, and booked a ticket. The desire was growing with every passing second and even the though of being back home was exciting. Cari couldn’t believe that five years ago, she couldn’t wait to get out of the town where she had no future and now, now she was rushing back at the speed of sound, with the joyful idea of seeing her parents, all those people and most of all, her old high school Scooby gang. Or at least she hoped so…

Biography

◆ Please give a background for the character: Abigail wasn't born in the country. Far from it, in fact. She was the only child of Henry and Tessa Harley, born to them in a big hospital on the coast of Florida. For the first few years of her life (that she sadly doesn't really remember) she was a beach bunny, much like her mother. She was her mothers everything; the pair were literally best friends. Rarely did her mother go anywhere without little Abby trailing behind her. Her father worked alot of hours to keep them afloat, but he was attentive when he could be and clearly loved his wife. Sadly, the fairy tail ended when Abigail was just a few years old.

Her mother got pregnant again, and they were expecting a little boy. Her mother had complications the whole pregnancy, and when the time came to give birth, both mother and child died. Abigails father spun into a whirlwind of depression and bad decisions. He sold their house and moved them to another state/into the country, for a "fresh start". Abby was a young child at the time, and could barely process the emotions going on inside of her. Her father was no help, but she took on the motherly role for the both of them. Cooking, cleaning, making sure he was ready to go to work in the mornings.

They moved again when Abigail was a preteen, to the country town they would call home until after graduation. Abby was known for being the sweet 'girl-next-door' type, almost too good. She wanted to travel the world, and decided to go off to college. It was there she was finally able to spread her wings and fly... and fly, she did.

◆ RP specific backround: Abigail-- now known as Tori to most-- is returning to visit her father for the celebration. He hasn't been doing well from what she heard and can tell over the phone, and she doesn't think he has much time left. She knows she's going to see her friends and be quite different, what with the tattoos she's gotten and the piercings on her face. No longer is she the girl next door.

BACKGROUND
tw: mentions domestic violence & alcoholism

For the first few years of his life, Theodore Addison could honestly describe his life as perfect. Although his family had never been particularly wealthy, his childhood was full of experiences that were worth far more than expensive riches and all the things money could buy. His parents, Stephen and Jeanette Addison, owned a successful family ranch that had been been in the Addison family for generations. Teddy was born and raised on the ranch, surrounded by family and he couldn't ask for more. His earliest memories are filled with memories of working the farm with his father and cooking meals with all of their home-grown ingredients that would feed his entire family with his mother. He reflects on his childhood with fondness, recalling long horseback rides down trails with his parents and spending his day with the animals.

When Teddy was about ten years old, his parents, despite being well into their forties, decided to have a go at having another child. They had been well aware of the risks regarding Jeanette's age and decided it was worth the risk -- they badly wanted a little girl and even Teddy had been over-joyed at the idea of being a big brother. Somewhat surprisingly, Jeanette had managed to become pregnant within months. When she passed her first trimester with little to no problems, the family assumed it was safe to celebrate and couldn't wait to welcome their daughter Marley Cate Addison into the world. Everything was perfect.. Until it wasn't.

His mother's entire pregnancy had been healthy and successful, so nobody was expecting any complications after she gave birth to a healthy little girl. It wasn't until a day or two afterwards that his mother started to feel wrong, telling her husband to take her to the hospital. Upon admittance, she had been diagnosed with a postpartum infection. She spent days in the hospital trying to fight before sepsis got the best of her nearly a week after Marley's birth. Her death turned Teddy and his father's life upside down. She was the glue that kept them together and she had died, leaving behind a devastated Teddy, a grieving husband, and a newborn daughter that would never have a mother.

Jeanette's death changed everyone in their family but it understandably changed Stephen the most. He had lost his wife, his high school sweet heart that he had married at the ripe age of seventeen and loved continuously throughout the years. When she left him, he had no idea how to deal with his grief. The first few weeks, he did his best to care for his son and newborn daughter the best he could. When that became too stressful, he would pour himself a glass of bourbon and drink until the pain just vanished. But one drink turned into a bottle and, soon enough, the only way Stephen could deal with his emotions was through a bottle of bourbon and fists. The first time Stephen hit his son was just three months after Jeanette's death and he never ceased after that. Up until Teddy was old enough to move into the in-law's suite on the ranch property with his sister, Stephen's days consisted of throwing himself into work on the ranch for hours on end and coming home angry, frustrated, and drunk.

Understandably, life after his mother had died had been some of the darkest years of his life. With a newly abusive parent and a newborn sister without a proper parenting figure, a lot of the responsibilities of the household fell onto Teddy's shoulders. At just eleven years old, he was making meals each night and making sure his sister got bathed and fed and, when she was old enough, ready for school and doing her homework. If it hadn't been for his group of friends that remained his best friends throughout most of his life regardless of where they moved and his grandmother who continuously helped around the house, Teddy guarantees that he'd be in a much darker place to this day if they hadn't swept in. When he was eighteen, he moved out of his parents home and into the smaller home on the ranch property that served as the in-law suite. He and his sister live there to this day.

When he was just twenty, he came to his father's home to convince him to give him full ownership of the ranch. His father, unsurprisingly drunk, had been easy to coerce. He convinced him that the ranch would be better of in his hands and the man agreed, even if he had been pissed about it later on when he realized what he had done while drunk. Teddy used the opportunity to change his life around. He pulled himself out of the pit he had dug for himself after his mother died and focused entirely on his work and self-care. He made major changes to the ranch and his lifestyle and is ultimately in a better place than he was because of it.

TRIVIA
☼ Teddy now owns and runs the family business The Addison Family Ranch. Since him being in charge, the ranch has undergone some serious changes. To ensure the humane treatment of animals, no machinery is used on them and they are never sent to slaughterhouses or used for meat. He has stopped the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, growth hormones, and more on the use of their crops and animals to ensure everything is as healthy and organic possible. He has even introduced some new products and features to earn the ranch a bit more cash, such as bee-keeping and introducing a larger variety of crops and herbs.

☼ Teddy is vegetarian! He made the switch just shortly after moving into the in-law suite with his little sister and has been actively vegetarian since. He really enjoys vegetarian cooking and has come a long way since first attempting it! He used to be rather terrible but can now make somewhat impressive meals with no meat whatsoever.

☼ While he absolutely adores every single animal in his ranch, he particularly loves an old hen named Gerda, the old horse he used to ride with his mother Guinevere, a barn cat named Gavin, and, lastly, his favorite dairy cow creatively named Bessy, thanks to his siter.

☼ He has a younger sister named Marley Cate. She is currently twelve years old and an absolute handful but he does love her to death.

Sometimes life has different plans for you than you had for yourself.

Background

Jane-Anne and Beau Montgomery were both born and raised in [inserttownnamehere]. It's where they met and fell in love as teenagers, where they got married and had both of their children, Tyler and Aurora. They wouldn't have dreamed of raising their kids anywhere else and by all accounts it was the perfect place to do so. A small town where most people knew each other. Where you could trust your kids would be safe and that your neighbors would watch out for you as you did them. They owned a small diner in the town called Pops Place where all were welcome. It was where both of the siblings worked their first jobs as teenagers. It wasn't that Aurora didn't love this town, she did, but she always wondered what else was out there. Her whole life had been mapped out and predictable but she craved more.

As Rory was growing up her love for school was no secret. While other kids her age rode bikes, played at the lake, and participated in the town events, she preferred to be snuggled up with a book. She loved history and language arts, even science piqued her interest. There wasn’t any subject that she didn’t ace and she enjoyed being recognized for her hard work rather than just that of Tyler Montgomery’s sister. He was a baseball star and one of the more popular guys which was opposite what Rory was. She was more reserved, though she did have her own circle of friends who sometimes managed to break her out of her shell.

By the time graduation rolled around it was no surprise that Rory was top of her class. She got accepted into two of the Ivy League schools she'd applied for, Columbia and Harvard, choosing the former. She had big plans for but life had other ideas in mind. She'd been breaking out of her shell more as a senior. Going to parties a little more and finding new confidence, so she didn't think anything of it when she made the choice to go to the grad party that night. It was the end of an era and she thought that celebrating that was no big deal. Boy was she wrong! That night she ended up sleeping with [insertnamehere] in a drunken blur and it changed her entire life.

Aurora didn't find out that she'd gotten pregnant until she was already three months along and by that time she'd already gone to Columbia. She was panicked but determined to make it work out which was easy when she was expecting but things were harder once Emma-Rose was actually born. So after finishing just one-year of college Rory packed up her things and headed back to her hometown. She might've had to put her own dreams on hold to raise her child but she wouldn’t trade being a mom for anything. Aurora worked for her parents at Pops until getting a job as a teacher at the elementary school about two years ago.

Biography

◆ Please give a background for the character: Chase is the oldest in his family, having been born before his two younger brothers and two younger sisters. His father was a big sports legend when he was younger, and though he didn't exactly push that on his son, Chase wanted nothing more than to be like him. So from a young age, he was a very active child, always in sports or some kind of activity. They always knew that he would go far; Chase wanted to go pro. His father hadn't gotten the chance to, as he'd gotten his girlfriend (now wife, Chase's mother) pregnant and they'd started their family.

All throughout school, Chase was considered a ladies man, but he wasn't a player. He and the head cheerleader dated from their freshman year to senior, when he found out she was cheating on him and they broke it off. After the two of them broke up, he did make his way around and have some fun, but he still had respect for women and didn't lead anyone on. He has always been temperamental, especially during games, but he was a star player. After graduation, he was set to go to school with a football scholarship, until he got caught up in something he shouldn't have.

Though he didn't rob that convenience store, he was the driver, and got charged with accessory. His scholarship was rescinded, and his chance to go pro was lost. He moved a couple towns away from his hometown, keeping in touch the bare minimum with his family. He got a job as a mechanic, which was always a second passion of his.

◆ RP specific background: He's only returning to the town because his family begged him to come back for the celebration. They want him to stay there, but he's content in the life he's made for himself... right?

history

Wyatt’s upbringing was different than most. His mother, Dana got pregnant when she was nineteen and his father didn’t want to raise a child. Being so young and left alone to raise a child, his mother moved to a small town in Tennessee where her aunt lived. Her aunt Lucy not only gave Dana and her newborn somewhere to live, but she also took on a lot of the responsibility of raising Wyatt. Things were normal for the first few years of Wyatt’s life, things changed however when Wyatt was three. One day his mother didn’t come home from work. Initially, Aunt Lucy suspected the worst, but the truth had been that Dana had left town with her new boyfriend, leaving Lucy to raise Wyatt on her own.

Wyatt was young when his mother left, so Aunt Lucy never told him the truth. She continued raising him on her own, and even though he knew his mother was gone, Wyatt loved his aunt, and she became like a mother to him. His childhood was normal for the most part and he didn’t think much of his mother being gone, until he entered middle school. When he was in the seventh grade, one of the other kids brought up his mother leaving and began to tease him for it. To shut the kid up, Wyatt fought him, and that was the first time he ever got in trouble. When he got home later that day, he confronted Aunt Lucy about not telling him the truth about his mother. He was angry at her for weeks after, and that was also the beginning of his rebellion.

Through middle school, Wyatt continued to get into trouble, and it only got worse when he entered high school. He had a smart mouth, a short temper, a problem with authority, and a general disinterest in school that created many problems for him. He was constantly in trouble at school and with his aunt, and the local police also knew him well. Things changed a bit the summer before his junior year when he became friends with a new group of people. His new friends were good kids and that helped him not get into as much trouble as he had been. If it hadn't been for his friends, he wouldn’t have graduated.

After graduation, his friends all went their separate ways, and Wyatt decided he didn’t want to stay in town either. He had no plan , but he packed up his mom’s old car that had become his, and he said goodbye to Aunt Lucy. He spent a couple days just driving and trying to decide what to do before he ended up in Texas. When he got there, he linked up with some bad people and found himself in jail one night. While he ended up not getting charged with anything, it was a wake up call that needed to change his ways. When he got out of jail he had to walk back to where he had parked his car, and on the way he passed an army recruiter and decided to go in. A week later, he was sworn into the US Army and headed to basic training.

RP specific background:
Wyatt has been stationed in Germany for the last four years and hasn’t been home to see his aunt since then. It just so happens that his army contract has finished at the same time as the bicentennial. He is on the fence as to whether he wants to reenlist or leave the army, so he is going to take the trip home to not only visit his aunt, but to decide what he is going to do moving forward.
