She specializes in enchantments or light magic, so she has no magic offensive skills. She can shape shift into her dragon form, but the situation must be truly dire for her to do that.


Weapon(s): Two bladed staff (battle staff.), knives, traps, illusions.


Appearance: Pic above. But she wears actual armor.


Personality: Hyperactive, quickly changes through emotions, curious, irritable, sassy, happy, goofball


Biography: She grew up with a clan of elves where she trained to become their next leader, but, she saw there was someone more fitting to the task. Unfortunately, in her clan, there could be only one person next in line to the leader, and for others to notice a better candidate, she knew that she had to dissapear. So she left. She has been traveling around the world ever since. (more to be revealed?)


Extra: Cover your ears if starts to yell after you anger her. She randomly teleports if startled. Has a pet baby wyvern (It most often hides in her bag)

Appearance: a tall, wide-shouldered German male with black hair and a medium build. He is seen most often in his leather trenchcoat which resembles something of a labcoat. He also wears dark, knee-high boots and tucked-in, cheap tan pants. He accessorizes with thick black gloves and ragged goggles that appear like they're handmade. Hans has large, black eyebrows and a rather large nose which clashes with his thin, circular wire glasses.


Biography: Hans was always your stereotypical German professor; testing from the morning through the night, he has a lack of sleep and even less of a grip on his sanity. After an event that he seldom addresses explicitly, it changed the way that he viewed his studies as well as the world around him. Taking his experiments up and beyond the levels of what's expected of a single being to achieve in their lifetime, Hans has since been developing experiments in his basement to escape the judging views of his surrounding man. However, because of his seclusion due to his diligent study and rather 'sheltered' life as a child (i.e. being raised only around apparent pure-human beings), he has no idea that hybrid beings exist. He stands by this idea loyally, no matter what research or people he's utilized in the past (as rare an encounter as that is, for him to interact with others). However, after a recent accident in his laboratory where he was thrown out into the wilderness with nothing to show his accomplishments, his only mission is to get another place to begin developing again... And maybe find his 'friend' again- whoever that is...

Personality: A normally quiet woman that has a heart of gold. Due to humans being cruel to her, she tends to wean away from humans if she can help it but will speak to them if the terms are needed. Gets flustered easily. VERY smart and loves to talk about learning and the stars. Has a bit of a habit of hoarding small items, such as stones or shells. Anything that peaks her interest. Does not like woods at all due to her mother abandoning her.


Bio: Agitha's mother, Winry, was a pretty human barmaid that worked in one of the bars that the rouges and pirating type of gang would go and drink. One night, she met a dark elf of the name of Renfeir. He was a well known assassin-mage that would raid caravans and be a hired hitman. After a few flourishing nights together, Agitha was now a subject matter. Renfeir was enraged at this, wanting nothing more with the human woman that wasn't outside the sheets. One night, he went and cursed little Agitha with his powers of dark magics beyond control and went off into the night without a trace. Agitha's powers did not come into play until she was about 7 years old and being teased by the local children about her pointed ears and blue-grey skin. With a few tugs to her ears and hair, she put out her hand and pushed the child back, scaring off the others to their mothers in which they told on her. The village gave Winry a choice; get rid of the child or both be outcasted. Winry wasn't exactly the best mother on terms of taking care of the child, so she sent her daughter off into the woods with nothing but a stale piece of bread, a blanket, the clothes on her back, a few copper shillings and a decent knife. Aggie was only 7 at this time. While off in the woods, a voice called out to the child, drawing her near a giant stone. Wisps of smoke came from the fixture and a giant smokey beast came onto it. Aggie did not fear the beast, in which it was confused. Simply stating that the beast was pretty and it's blackened coat sparkled like stars in the moonlight, the beast gave up and became a guardian to the child...but with the purpose on wanting to take her power for his own. Becoming her familiar after a simple blood sacrifice, he lead her to a sanctuary of magics, where young mages would go and learn more about their power and become stronger. The beast's plan, amply named Pippa ( a child named it. His real name was Vainiv ( Van-Eve ) ) was to wait for her powers to become stronger before taking over her mind and body. 


Agitha became 18 and was very powerful but trained in the ways of basic battle mage tactics, for she didn't know about the dark powers her father had bestowed onto her. Vainiv tried to take her power but she simply leashed him to a small Welsh Pembroke Corgi body she had found on the side of the road ( A vessel of some sorts. Zombie dog? ) so he would not be wandering around her head as she went out into the world.


Now Aggie is finalizing her training by going to find a magical artifact of some sorts and study it.

Captured lightning - dark blue, hollow sapphire geode with outer rock carved away, allowing some of the light from the lightning to shine through.  Nick's lab was hit by lightning while he was experimenting with growing gemstones.  Used to power his Discharge blade and can be used to provide electrical power to other experiments or alchemical procedures.  Does not provide very much power, but seems to be capable of running for almost forever.

Discharge Blade - a pair of dual action switchblades mounted to the sides of Nick's right vambrace that curl around his fist before extending forward and coming very close... But never touching.  Electric current is run through them, creating a constant arc of electricity.  Functions as a taser as well as a bladed weapon.  Constructed from dwarven mechanical parts, as the dwarves can create gears and such with much finer mechanical tolerances than almost any human craftsman.

Clockwork Repeater crossbow - uses a lever-action reload mechanism (like the old Winchester rifles) and is fed by a drum of seven arrows.  Not as powerful as most bows, but can still cause damage to non-armored or very lightly armored things.

Personality:  Usually bright and cheery, excitable and enthusiastic.  Becomes downright hyper when given a chance to do anything of an academic nature - run experiments, collect data on magic, build something new or modify something, or just talk about science and whatnot.  In times of need, can exhibit a level of absolute focus and determination on the task at hand - such as fixing his equipment on the fly while in the middle of a battle.
When he is driven mad by someone trying to tamper with his mind, he goes very, very bonkers.

Biography:  Born in a mundane village, Nick quickly left and got an apprenticeship with a wizard and his alchemist wife.  He quickly outstripped them in his studies and left, building his own lab and continuing with his work alone.  After gaining a mastery over many subjects, he decided he wasn't done learning yet... Unfortunately, his body was almost done living.  So, in a pen intellectual tour de force, Nick figured out how to successfully grow a homunculus.  In the act of transferring his own consciousness into the new body, however, the primitive and malformed mind and soul of the homunculus was shunted aside and locked away deep within Nick- without Nick realizing what had happened.  Another two lifetimes went by and he repeated the process two more times, each time the deformed mind and soul of each new homunculus being added to the mess.  Now, should anything disturb Nick's mind directly, the subconscious locks in place controlling the horrific personality will dissolve and the insane being will take over until Nick can recover and regain control.  As a result, he is very touchy about anything that might mess with his mind.

Backround:


Galiana was a human enslaved to a proprietor of an underground fighting ring in the sewers of Tarfella a couple years after the kingdom fell. She was 12 years old at the time. Her super strength earned her the mocking moniker "Ogre". Her opponents got bigger and fiercer as time went on. Despite her ability to smash opponents thrice her size, her master and several others made sure to keep her obedient in many ways. Mainly the slaver's whip. This left many visible and invisible scars on the young Galiana.


When she was 16, a traveling rogue elf slaughtered all of the slavers in the city and thus she was free. Knight-Captain Jauquilinne, now Knight-Commander, found her cowering in a cage and bathed and clothed her. Helen, Jauquilinne's adopted daughter, was 9 at the time and they became somewhat like siblings. Healing came slow to the ex-slave but one day, when she was 17, she begged that Jauquilinne teach her to be a knight. And hence Galiana became a squire.


But Jauquilinne knows that Galiana can never become a true knight with the current slave and social situation in the city and sends her off with Oceana and the crown expedition.

Background:


Jauquilinne was the adopted daughter of Lucian Vinmark, Knight-Commander of the Tarfella Guard during the battle against the Wildling elves decades past, and many years after.


Lucian's best friend fell in love with an elf and during the war both were killed for treason shortly after Jauquilinne's birth.


Lucian raised Jauquilinne as his own and she eventually trained to be a knight. Due to her half-blooded nature this was extremely difficult and socially unacceptable. Passing the exam with flyers colors, she rose in rank to become lieutenant.


Shortly after, Lucian died in a battle against the Kavacht's Demons at the usurpation of the Valor throne.


Jauquilinne was devastated but continued to serve the knights eventually becoming Knight-Captain and adopted Helen with help from her new wages and estate home.


Then a few years later she found Galiana and also took her in and became Knight-Commander in that year. 


Rumor has it that she has an affection for the City Alchemist who is also Thane; Valerie Morganstern.

Personality:


She's sarcastic but quiet. Quite similar to Galiana that they tend to keep to themselves and avoid people. Has an anger condition due to her half-wolf side.


Background:


Helen was born to a human and a wolf-shifter(werewolf). She has no recollection of them as she was abandoned as a toddler. The other street kids took care of her as she seemed normal except for her pointed ears. By five she was alone because the others were afraid of her wolf-temper and the fangs that constantly showed as Helen can't close her mouth around them.


Jauquilinne adopted her at the age of six. Helen had been trying to steal from the young knight currently in mourning.


Helen behaved as a wild animal would for most of their first month together but slowly she became more civilized. Jauquilinne sent her off to school but she got almost beaten to death by the other kids for her strange ears that were not human or elven and her fangs as well as her eyes which took on the shadowy quality of a wolf's.


Jauquilinne homeschooled her after that, teaching her everything she knew. Even how to fight.


A few years later along came Galiana and the two got along surprisingly well. She will be saddened to see her sister leave on her journey but she's proud of her.

Goggles - contain several lenses, some simply to magnify for distance or close inspection, others allow Nick to see aspects of reality normally hidden to humans, though not as clearly as true magic users.

Captured lightning - dark blue, hollow sapphire geode with outer rock carved away, allowing some of the light from the lightning to shine through.  Nick's lab was hit by lightning while he was experimenting with growing gemstones.  Used to power his Discharge blade and can be used to provide electrical power to other experiments or alchemical procedures.  Does not provide very much power, but seems to be capable of running for almost forever.

Alchemy travel kit - basic ingredients to make a variety of chemicals, including acids, explosives, potions, and poisons.

Discharge Blade - a pair of dual action switchblades mounted to the sides of Nick's right vambrace that curl around his fist before extending forward and coming very close... But never touching.  Electric current is run through them, creating a constant arc of electricity.  Functions as a taser as well as a bladed weapon.  Constructed from dwarven mechanical parts, as the dwarves can create gears and such with much finer mechanical tolerances than almost any human craftsman.

Clockwork Repeater crossbow - uses a lever-action reload mechanism (like the old Winchester rifles) and is fed by a drum of seven arrows.  Not as powerful as most bows, but can still cause damage to non-armored or very lightly armored things.

Clockwork retracting circular shield - serves as a very sturdy buckler when not expanded.  When extended, is weaker but provides greater area of protection.  Dual-action spring mechanism - works quickly both ways, but can easily be stopped from expanding or retracting.

Wears a long, black, weatherproof, hooded spider silk cloak that provides some protection from blades and arrows - material enhanced by alchemical experiments.

Appearance:  6'3" and 190 lbs.  Very fit due to frequently having to either fight or run away from his experiments as well as having to fend off bandits and other unsavory people and creatures.  Dark brown hair and eyes, both with a slight golden and copper iridescence.  Very tanned skin.  Grecian nose and pointed chin.  Clean-shaven.

Personality:  Usually bright and cheery, excitable and enthusiastic.  Becomes downright hyper when given a chance to do anything of an academic nature - run experiments, collect data on magic, build something new or modify something, or just talk about science and whatnot.  In times of need, can exhibit a level of absolute focus and determination on the task at hand - such as fixing his equipment on the fly while in the middle of a battle.
When he is driven mad by someone trying to tamper with his mind, he goes very, very bonkers.

Biography:  Born in a mundane village, Nick quickly left and got an apprenticeship with a wizard and his alchemist wife.  He quickly outstripped them in his studies and left, building his own lab and continuing with his work alone.  After gaining a mastery over many subjects, he decided he wasn't done learning yet... Unfortunately, his body was almost done living.  So, in a pen intellectual tour de force, Nick figured out how to successfully grow a homunculus.  In the act of transferring his own consciousness into the new body, however, the primitive and malformed mind and soul of the homunculus was shunted aside and locked away deep within Nick- without Nick realizing what had happened.  Another two lifetimes went by and he repeated the process two more times, each time the deformed mind and soul of each new homunculus being added to the mess.  Now, should anything disturb Nick's mind directly, the subconscious locks in place controlling the horrific personality will dissolve and the insane being will take over until Nick can recover and regain control.  As a result, he is very touchy about anything that might mess with his mind.

Dásos is not quick to learn kinesthetically, and she has no experience with martial arts, crafting, or barding. Her past life experience as a 100-year old tree is difficult to translate accurately, though Dásos can use simple concepts, and describe analogous human sensations, such as taste or smell. An example of this would occur if you asked her why she could predict the region's weather.


Her educational background is also limited to the few years she has spent with the Tárfellian wizard scholar Anóitos, in which she was taught the rudimentary basics of speech and movement. Anóitos used Sympathetic Imprinting to expedite this process, though Dásos has only reached the lingual acuity of a burgeoning child.


She has grown to have a strong awareness of Mind Manipulation via Imprinting magics, and a loose grasp of the physical concept of Mana Gathering as it is applied to Thought Projection.


Weapons: None but childlike enthusiasm to learn.


Appearance: Dásos has walnut skin, with maroon hair, and unnaturally green eyes--like a burst of spring in the middle of Autumn. She's built squarely, with wide shoulders, and a thick waist. Her movements are intrepid, but not graceful, or wasted.


Personality: Normally, she's very naive and easily excitable, being emotionally immature and her mannerisms, and showing childlike curiosity--but she's no longer as susceptible to emotional persuasion (literally) because she's made significant progress on developing her own awareness. Her lack of insight in communication makes her some-what immune to stigmatic or loaded language.


Biography: Dásos has been living with Anóitos in a cabin in the woods along the outskirts of Tárfella for the last two years, often visiting the town together to practice social interaction and observe society. Dásos is struggling with emerging self-awareness and new emotional experiences, and is seeking the meaning of being human.


Extra: She wears an amber ring on her left hand, and fears losing it above all else.
