It all started with a scream.

0:00 The Beginning of the End

Seoul was tainted. Infected by a festering wound which threatened to grow and destroy everything it touched. When the subway doors opened the first thing people noticed was the miasma which overtook the platform. The smell of blood was heavy and thick, the air tasted like metal. No one waiting to begin their morning commute could see inside however, on account of the mass of people rushing out of the train. At first they were simply fleeing, screaming and yelling for everyone to run, then some of them instead of making a b-line for the stairs out of the increasingly sickly smelling tunnel rather went at anyone nearby. A woman screamed as a young man grabbed her long hair from behind as she attempted to head toward a station operator booth. She tried yelling for them to let her go, but the only response was the feeling of teeth sinking into her shoulder, as the man began to devour her flesh.

The operator in his glass windowed booth watched as the woman before him was brutally mauled by what used to be an aspiring priest. Just beyond that the chaos had grown exponentially as some people continued to bolt up the stairs, tripping and scrambling to get away while those left behind like the woman were being attacked, murdered, eaten. Quickly the operator instinctively locked the booth just as a few โ€˜peopleโ€™ threw themselves at the glass. Their bloodied bodies smeared across the surface as he watched in abject horror, one of them had theirโ€ฆ Itโ€™s.. Stomach torn open with intestines spilling out of the things gaping wound. It wasnโ€™t long before he was throwing up in the trash bin off to the side. Then there was silence. No. Not silent, simplyโ€ฆ No more screams. More accurately, there wasnโ€™t anyone screaming on the platform, echos of terror rang out from just up the steps to the main station terminal. The operator tried to look around the writhing creatures only to jump back, tripping onto the floor as another one lunged onto the booth. It was the same woman who had tried to attempt her way to him earlier, but she was missing an arm and half her shoulder, bleeding profusely, staring at him with dead soulless eyes.

The scene was similar in a few other platforms. Some were relatively unaware, and some trains didnโ€™t even stop. One crashing right into another from behind, shaking the entire station and streets above.

__ __ __ __

Three buses made their way down a main road towards Seoul Station, carrying fifty trainees to their biggest performance yet, a real concert in Daegu city. It would be a major turning point in the survival show they were all participating in, and could make or break their Kpop career. There was a mix of nervous and excited energy flowing through the spacious vehicles. Though it was going to be a rather long trip. Some were sleeping, others chatting away, a few running over what they had practiced. It was going to be an exciting day for sure.

In one way or another.

A deep rumble shook the ground and traffic slowed to a crawl. People everywhere seemed to pause, something was happening but no one knew exactly what. A deep tension rolled through the streets like a thick fog. Some people even got out of their cars to look around. There was a sound ringing out from somewhere deeper into the city's center, it grew louder as if something was approaching. Slowly it became more recognizable as not one sole thing, but many, countless voices calling out. No, not calling out. They were unanimous, it was simply screams. Blood curdling screams. A roar of panic was heading right in their direction.

Then.

Silence.

No.

It was simply the inability to hear. Temporality deafened by an explosion followed by eruptions of fire in the distance. People running out of the smoke, covered in flames from head to toe. Some of them simply dropped after a few seconds while others kept running, rushing at the nearest person and tackling them to the ground with their burning bodies.

The chaos had finally caught up to them. Phone provider signals began to drop one by one as terminals crumbled to the ground. Most of the cars that hadnโ€™t stopped in confusion were crashing into anything and everything. People started to run, flying past the three busses, fleeing for their lives.

The bus drivers managed to coordinate themselves over their radios to get to the station as soon as possible and away from whatever was happening, quickly pulling around the parked cars onto a luckily open lane. However the destruction was not far behind and was seemingly getting progressively more violent. People were running, yelling, and then the attacks increased exponentially. People were biting at each other, fighting, andโ€ฆ And eating. They were eating each other alive.

As the busses approached a bridge there was another huge earthquake-like rumble as a subway train crashed out of the side of the ground just before the river, the long metal snake spilling out of the earth like a gutted pig into the water which began to run red. The buses slowed cautiously but never stopped moving, until the third bus in the back was hit by a car from behind. Causing it to lurch forward and swerve off to the side into guard rail, grinding and slipping onto its side. There wasnโ€™t any time to assess what had happened, as frenzied people had finally caught up to the convoy, ripping into the back of the bus's broken windows, shredding their own flesh on the glass to climb inside. Crawling at and attacking at the dazed trainees before they could recoup.

Jimin was frustrated. Things weren't going how she had expected in the show. A lot of contestants didn't make it to the next phase, including Bo-Ram, essentially the only real friend she had made so far. Though it wasn't anyone else's fault but her own. She had distanced herself from most people despite many approaching her. She did the bare minimum of social action when practicing in a group but otherwise she elected for solo performances when she could. An incredibly bold move which should have cost her votes, but it seemed like Jimin had been lucky that people seemed to like her for that very reason. It didn't help her from feeling alone. Though the simple company of having everyone else around was actually more than she was used to, and she rather appreciated it.

Jimin sighed, resting her head against the glass window, feeling the hum of the engine running through her. Peering out at the blue sky over a large river which stretched into the distance and listening to her favorite raps via her headphones, not bothering to interact with anyone else. As per usual. The music helped, considering the bus was rather lively with girls chatting away about anything and everything, others singing together and going over their songs for the eventual performance in Daegu later that night. Jimin was lucky enough for this to be one of the few bus rides without a camera man, and for the fact she was able to sit alone. It got emptier and quieter after each elimination round. She didn't know if she liked that or not.

Jimin's peace was interrupted by Hatsune sliding up to her side from a few rows down. "Jimin! Some of the girls were curious, what kind of guys do you like??" The other trainee said in her thick Japanese accent. Jimin turned to look at her, taking out of her her headphones, the girl's eyes were cold and seemingly unamused, but she gave in and sighed. "Respectable Lawyer types, like my older brother I guess." She shrugged putting her headphones back in. "I prefer cute girls anyway." Jimin added under her breath while returning to her previous position. Hatsune's large were wide and there was a blush on her cheeks, nodding slowly, she then held her hand to the side of her mouth and leaned over to Jimin's ear. "Don't worry your secret's safe with me" she said as if she was a little excited to have been 'trusted' with such seemingly private information. Hatsune fluttered her way back to her seat, keeping her word and only sharing her first response. Jimin poked her head down the hall slightly curious and actually feeling a bit sad for not being more friendly. It was only a moment but she felt even more lonely now. Hatsune noticed Jimin and shot her a thumbs up and an almost comical but genuine wink.

Jimin shook her head and went back the window. It wasn't like she was hiding her sexuality or anything, she just didn't care enough to tell people. Her thoughts were interrupted As the original hum of the engine was replaced by deep rumble, causing the girl to pull her head back. She guessed it could engine trouble, but then the pane of glass began to vibrate violently followed by the entire bus.

However it was over as soon as it started. The bus came to a halt, and Jimin saw basically every other car had as well. Some people were even getting out of their cars while others honked angrily but even that stopped after another powerful and longer rumble.

When it was over no one said anything. The whole world was perfectly still for just a moment, and holding her breath Jimin could feel the tension in the bus rising upwards, filling the spaces and spilling out. Then-

Achoo!

All heads turned to the from of the bus where Minnie was bowing in apology. She was a mousy girl but known to have comically loud sneezes. The moment brevity seemed to have returned the bus to some semblance of normalcy. Minnie's face was bright red "Sorry." She muttered with another quick bow "I was actually getting a bit worr-"

BOOOOM!!!!!

A deafening crack rippled through the air, causing everyone to immediately cover their ears. If anyone screamed it wasn't heard. Nothing was. No one could hear anything, except Jimin who's headphones had given her some minimal protection from the shock. While everyone else was still reeling she rolled down her window and peered out and what she saw made her heart sink. There were flames, and smoke and people were running. A wave of chaos washed over them in mere moments. She nearly screamed when a old man appeared just below her waving his hands frantically. "Go! Get out of here! Hurry!" before she could process what was going on he was already gone, doing the same thing to person or car he saw. He seemed insane but maybe it was a legitimate warning... A guess that became all too real when the man was tackled to the ground by a woman. Jimin was dumbfounded, covering her mouth when the woman started biting in the man's arm. Closing her eyes as soon as the blood began to spill out. She ducked back into the bus and shut the window, curling up in her seat and covering her ears to block out the screams... There so many screams.

Another rumble, but she didn't want to look. The girl barely even noticed when the bus started moving again. Eventually managing to pry her hands away from her head to text her brother, waiting to see her concert in Daegu.

The survival show... He had just barely managed to stay on and that's what surprised him. How could he not be the one everyone votes for? Rolling his eyes at the thought, Seong-Hun reached bag to grab his trusty selfie stick from the netted pocket on the side of his backpack. He totally had to stream this! Digging his phone out of his pocket as well, the internet-famous man clicked the device into place and hopped on the bus. Upon taking his seat, Seong-Hun booted up the stream and greeted his audience.

"Hello, bus to Daegu!" Moving the retracted stick to show the other guys in the bus. Eun, who sat right behind him, had begun to mess with Seong-Hun's stream, to which he replied with a joking whine. Having more than just him interact with the stream always made it more interesting. Little did either of them know it was about to be a bad interesting.

An earthquake shook the ground below, an explosion in the distance. Barely catching the fiery glow in the distance, Seong-Hun was amazed. Though he was considerably less amazed when the shockwave nearly pushed the bus over. His stream's comments were going wild, wondering what was going on, what happened?? They went unread. Seong-Hun had dropped the stick, his phone now on the floor as he tried to recover from the blast.

Then they were on the move once more. The busses continued down the streets, pushing past other vehicles and occasionally people in the streets. Seong snatched his phone, thankful the screen hadn't been cracked. Yes, that was one of his main worries right now. Kai still hadn't responded... Bringing up the floating window, ignoring his stream for a moment, Seong-Hun sent yet another text. It was odd for the other to ignore messages, open then ignore them, sure, but not this.

hanamaru ito. ่Šฑไธธ ไผŠ่—ค
Practice, eat, sleep (if youโ€™re lucky) and repeat. Hanamaru was long accustomed to long hours of work, whether it was perfecting her homework or helping in her parentโ€™s convenience store into the night. But this was another level entirely. While it drained her, she knew it was necessary. And everyone else in this bus knew exactly that too.

Yui was ecstatic over her texts, using too many exclamation marks. Neither of them had ever stepped foot in Daegu and Hanamaru was ready to use what little free time she received to take an obscene amount of photos for her Instagram, and to of course buy souvenirs for Yui. To her, this performance was more fun than work finally, a little break in the humdrum, who wouldnโ€™t like a scenic bus drive after all? All she planned to do was use the time to put a dent into a book she bought-- totally in Korean. Now, she could read hangul, but not all of the words in it made much sense. So she had a dictionary handy. The music she was listening to served one purpose only: to keep her from getting frustrated.

Everything was fine.

The world shook. Hanamaru dropped her books, clutched her bag, and pocketed her cellphone. People around her screamed, turned to look behind them. There were too many people speaking and shouting to make out anything, but from the little she could see, she didnโ€™t want to know. The fire reached to each end of her vision, troves of people being trampled and scrambling from a place they had been not even three minutes ago. Crowds ran past their windows screaming warnings and wishes, banging their palms against the bus. Hanamaru trained her eye on several people, knocked sideways by those fleeing and sometimesโ€ฆ sometimes by viciousโ€ฆ animals. Blood was everywhere, smeared on vehicles and the ground and on passerbyโ€™s clothes. Then came another blast, someplace far off. She stood to gain a better view as the bus was rear-ended, jostling all the trainees against one another. Hanamaru slammed against the seat in front of her, thrown back down as the bus sharply turned. She touched her nose instinctively, bringing back red fingers. I donโ€™t want to die. I canโ€™t.

When the day had started Su-Jin was actually pretty excited. Things were going pretty well for her during the survival show. In the beginning, she really didnโ€™t think that she would become this popular during the journey. Now they were going to be participating in their first-ever concert.
โ€˜I wonder what it will be like.โ€™
She found herself thinking this often. She had never performed on any sort of stage before all of this. Unless you counted the track. Running on a track was widely different from anything she was doing now. Su-Jin also knew more about track and field than she did about kpop anyway. That morning of the event she somewhat sluggishly climbed onto the third bus that had pulled in to pick up the fifty attendees of the survival show. The third bus was a girl exclusive bus so Su-Jin was not surprised to see a couple of girls that she was familiar with. She was originally planning to sit with friends but when they were getting on the group got separated. After she had lost track of them during the boarding she went for the next best thing. She was one of the first to get one so she was able to claim the window seat directly behind the driver.

Su-Jin quickly got comfortable in the seat, leaning her head against the cool glass planning to get some rest. At some point, one of the solo girls asked if she could sit next to her. She gave the okay and the girl sat down next to her. She made sure to wave at her friends as they passed her by towards the back seats. Su-Jin was really just planning on taking a nap during the drive. She always ended up falling asleep whenever she was in a vehicle anyway. Plus it would help make the drive go by faster. She let her eyes close as she stayed resting on the window. The girl next to her didnโ€™t care that Su-Jin was going to be passing out soon. Plugging in her headphones and playing a game. Su-Jin hugged her bag closer to her chest as let sleep come to her. Some time had passed when a deep rumble in the ground pulled Su-Jin from slumber. At first, the alarm that crawled up her spine was not enough to send her into a panic. But she was definitely more alert than she was before. The girl next to her removed a headphone from her ear and the two of them shared a look. Su-Jin looked out the window to try and get a read on whatever was happening outside.

She could see the traffic starting to slow as people got out of their cars to see what was happening.
โ€œWhat is going on?โ€
She wasnโ€™t talking to anyone in particular. Because of this, she wasnโ€™t expecting anyone to answer it. At first, there was only an eerie silence. It was suffocating. Creating a heavy feeling in her stomach. The tension was broken by a massive explosion in the distance that rattled everything. She could hear their driver talking to the other two buses as they coordinated their movements. Any sleep that might have remained from her nap was now gone. Su-Jin was wide awake and staring at the scene unfolding outside the bus. It was like she was watching some sort of movie.
โ€˜Is this even real?โ€™
She wasnโ€™t sure if what she was being shown was actually reality. They had been driving for a bit when the people came. Or there were people at some point. But Su-Jin doubted that they still had a shred of humanity left in them. She, like many others on the bus, screamed at the first sight of another human tearing into some soul who was on the streets. Su-Jin physically backed away from the window.

Just when she thought she could get maybe even a bit comfortable the second rumble came. This time it felt stronger and closer. And that was not an incorrect guess, Su-Jin could see the subway train breaking out of the ground. She was so entranced in that scene she hadnโ€™t even noticed the car flying towards their bus. Su-Jin was suddenly jerked forward, slamming the side of her head into the front of the seat. Luckily it was padded so the damage was not horrible but the area throbbed with a dull pain. The bus did not stop though. It continued to screech forward, crashing into the rail guard. This caused the bus to become unstable and flip on its side. During that whole event, Su-Jin and all the others inside the bus were being tossed around. She cried out in fear, closing her eyes as the glass from the windows came flying towards her. The body of the girl sitting next to her was tossed into her. Su-Jinโ€™s entire left side was wracked with pain as she made contact with the jagged edges of the metal window frame. A distinct crunching sound as tiny pieces of glass dug into her skin.

Su-Jin blacked out for a second as the bus came to a halt. It was only a moment before she was being tossed back into the action again. She groaned in pain and forced her eyes open again. She could see that the girl who had crushed her was now gone and honestly she didnโ€™t care what happened. As her senses sharpened she could hear the scream and sounds of tearing flesh. She looked around trying to see what was happening. Trying to shake the dizziness. Su-Jin forced her body to get moving.
โ€˜I am not about to die here.โ€™
She screamed at herself. This urge only became stronger as the sound of crunching glass came closer to her. Her body had kicked to overdrive now as she instinctively threw her bag back towards the sounds to buy her some time. She only checked briefly to check her aim, so she didnโ€™t get the full detail on what was even approaching. Su-Jin grabbed onto the edge of the driver seat and her own, using the leverage to pull her up off the floor. She didnโ€™t look back as she climbed up on the edge of her seat to get closer to the bus door.

Su-Jin knew from all those safety snippets as a kid that every bus had an emergency handle above the door so that it could be opened manually from the inside in case of an accident. Just as she was reaching up to the handle a bloodied hand yanked her from her spot back down on the ground. Fear and terror took over her system and the first thing she thought to do was fight. She kicked her free leg towards the source, a satisfying thump told her she connected.
โ€œLet me go you bitch!โ€
She screamed. The hand on her ankle tightened and tugged her, so she kept kicking. Soon it was less desperate and more angry. She heard a crunch and felt the nose of the one grabbing her cave under her foot. She finally looked back to see the horrified face of a poor girl who was covered in blood and bite marks.
โ€˜Oh she is screwed.โ€™
She knew the girl was going to plead for her help by the look in her eyes.
โ€œHell no!โ€
She screamed, kicking the girl again. Her screaming alerted the creatures that had clawed their way inside the fallen bus. With a horrifying screech, it charged the pair.

Su-Jin watched as the creature leaped onto the girl grabbing onto her. The girl screamed and she just kicked harder. The last kick did the job. Su-Jin did not feel bad as she scrambled up and out of the bus after pulling the latch. The girl was as good as dead anyway. Su-Jin was thankful she was fit and climbed up on the side of the bus. Ignoring the blood that was sliding down the side of her face, threatening to get into her eyes. Su-Jin picked a side of the bus that was least packed with creatures as she jumped down from the side of the bus, dodging one of those things in the process. She let her muscles guide her as she weaved and hopped over the fallen bodies of former humans. She desperately searched for a way out of the streets when she spotted the other intact buses. Su-Jin pushed herself into a full-blown spirit as she made her escape. The burn in her legs was all too familiar to her and it helped to distract her from the pain in her body. She could only pray she reached the buses before they sped off.

The bus ride had been almost enjoyable for a while. Messing with Seong-Hun was always enjoyable and made the time go by much faster. Honestly he used to watch the others streams before he even began to screw with him, he had followed everyone in the show or candidates for it for a while now. After he made up his mind for joining this he had spent sleepless nights researching and learning from the others. He always thought Seong-Hun's streams could use more life and humor. The other liked to think the show was what boosted his recent popularity, Eun would say otherwise.

He was going to make a stupid joke when the bus shook with something of an earthquake. He was thrown onto the wall, his breath being stolen from him, leaving him gasping. He sat gasping for air for a momment before screams began to process for him. His swimming gaze focused on the only face he could recognize in his state. He yoinked Seong-Hun up, "get up pretty boy we need to go like now." Windows were broken the bus was still going and it didn't look like it was going to stop. The water was getting closer. He glanced around, rushing to the emergency exit, "this would be fun if it was an acting in a movie," he snickered, "might want to close your stream before the injuries get you canceled," he joked, doing his best to ignore the person whos head was punctured with far too much glass nearby. He quickly moved Seong-Hun to the exit, offering him help down if he would take it. However, instead of going down with him Eunice began to help others on the bus.

It was hard to walk, the bus teetering and people panicking was not a good combination, "everyone I know the bus is comfy but we need to go now." He announced to anyone who could hear him, attempting to help injured and anyone he could. He was running out of time but he couldn't leave them. He felt someone grab him, he turned to say something when he noticed a missing throat on the person. The situation processes in his head as he sent them flying off them. no fuckinfucking. He felt his breath leave him as the person got back up and latched its bloody hands on his shoulder, "Get the fuck off of me dude, this isn't some zombie flick." He struggled against them as he saw others on the bus in the same situation as him, most losing. "Fuck fuck fuck fuck." He heaved out. He glanced at the exit right next to him. Could he make it or would he be too short?

He went for it, shoving his weight on the person and scrambling off as quickly as he could, glass that was once in the body now transfered onto him. As he rushed for the exit a hand grabbed his ankle causing him to come crashing down, as he stood against the window. Fuck fuck. He needed help. Or maybe this was it. He felt his body shake, his arm outstretched, was it over?
KaigerGalaxy KaigerGalaxy

Seong-Hun was glued to his phone, specifically his message thread with Kai. He was worried and that was something he wasn't used to. Dark eyes scanned every little detail of the page trying to find any indication that Kai was at least online. Nothing... Wanting to try his luck with a call, he began to aim for the little phone icon in the upper right corner. Unfortunately, he was yanked out of his seat beforehand by none other than Eun, his resident stream-bomber. Normally, Seong-Hun would've snapped at anyone who dared lay a hand on him, let alone grab him by his blazer and jerk him out of his seat, but in case recent events went unnoticed, things weren't so normal. Though, he would definitely retort to being called 'pretty boy.'

Once again scooping up his phone, he followed Eun's advice and shut down the stream, throwing in a quick last message to Kai. Now, he shoved the device into his pant's pocket before he could realize that the text didn't go through. If only it were a movie... He muttered in his head. Broken glass decorated the bus floor and stuck out of far too many innocent people for his liking. Many were dead, others were panicking, and a few looked as though they should be dead.

Eun's comment about the 'zombie flick' made him go into think mode, not exactly a good mode to be in when you should be running- Either way, it would explain the explosion and panic on the streets. But how? Why? No, that could come later, first things first: Get out alive. He quickly took in his surroundings, trying to ignore the blood spattered everywhere and few survivors shoving past him. Emergency exit at the back, two exits on the roof, multiple window exits. If he really had a choice, he'd prefer the door towards the back.

However, this option was no longer the main task on his mind as a familiar voice caught his attention. The streamer had become accustomed to Eun's voice, to the point where he was the only person out of the rest of the contestants Seong-Hun could identify with ease. He turned to face the direction he heard the other from, locking onto what was quite obviously an attacker. Once a fellow contestant turned... Zombie. Without thinking and not a second later, Seong-Hun rushed forward and latched onto the dead's clothes.

His hands gripped as much fabric as possible, tiny shards of glass digging into his flesh. At least his were small shards, he couldn't say the same for the person he was attempting to tear Eun free of. At one point, his brain went on auto-pilot, and the next thing he knew he was stomping on the ex-contestant's arm.

hanamaru ito. ่Šฑไธธ ไผŠ่—ค
All the noise around her rang in Hanamaruโ€™s ears, briefly pierced by high-pitched screams and wailing. She groggily pushed herself up from the bus window, the last weight needed to shatter it. The shards broke into large, razor sharp pieces that nicked her elbows and hands. Get up, get up, get up. Passing girls jostled her, but when she turned, the sight of blood in a girlโ€™s mouth brought her to full alert. A piece of flesh. The girl, pink hair soaked in blood, was headed for her row, attacking a steady stream of people and leaving pools of blood behind. โ€œGet away!โ€ Hanamaru screamed and stumbled upwards, heaving wet, bloody breaths as she gained a foothold on a seat, following the rush of people going for the emergency exit.

The scene looked no better here. Masses of bodies littered the ground, some Hanamaru weren't sure were entirely intact or alive. Everyone still able to was fighting to escape, slamming heels against windows and racing to unlock the exit. Before Hanamaru could step forward to take upon the responsibility, she witnessed another special horror. Someone had opened the latch, but kicked another down, leaving her for dead. โ€œHey. Hey!โ€ The creature that attacked her then switched focus. It was now or never. Hanamaru booked it for the exit, swinging herself up through it and jumping from the side of the bus onto the pavement. The bus was leaving. The only way out. She followed that someone who had ferociously kicked at the girl, not quite keeping pace but close enough not to lose her. It wasnโ€™t the time to get on a high horse, for the time being she seemed to know just where to go.

All along the road lay dead bodies and distorted visions of people feeding on their flesh, occasionally stopping themselves to chase after those fleeing. If she wasnโ€™t running, she would break into tears. Hanamaru wiped her face as she ran to keep blood from running into her eyes, not slowing down when she reached the tail end of the bus.

โ€œLet us in! Thereโ€™s people out here!โ€ Hanamaru banged against the busโ€™s walls, eyeing the side for an open window and pushing herself to reach it. It hurt to run, and it hurt to go on, but it was the only choice. โ€œCome on!โ€

Jimin stared at her phone having managed to get a reply from her older brother who was the only person she cared about at the moment, but her heart sank when the cursed red text popped up under her last message "Message not sent". Meaning she had no way to contact him now, Jae-Won mentioned he was on his way to get her, which only made her feel worse knowing that if he did he'd end up in this... Mess. Not to mention she was on her way to him...Right? They could end up missing each other and she'd never know it. A thought which made her drying tear lines refresh with fervor. He'd called earlier that morning.... Does that mean it was the last time she'd ever talk to him again?

A hesitant look out the window only strengthened her fears. It was absolute HELL. People were injured in the most horrible ways, and some of the injured were killing and...Eating. "No fucking way." She muttered to herself.

Zombies.
Real fucking zombies.

It was the only thing she had to describe what she was seeing. The girl had consumed her fair share of zombie media but it was supposed to be fiction, not something that could ever happen. Still, there was happening and there- Jimin was jolted and lurched forward into the seat in front of her as the bus began to slow from it's already cautious pace. That's when she finally noticed the banging. Poking her head into the open air she saw it was the other girls and some guys from the other busses, some of them she had done group performances with. Though it was only a handful of the shows contestants, but peering behind them she saw why and nearly fell out herself. One of the large vehicles had crashed onto its' side with a stream of... Zombies, rushing in through it's broken windows. Jimin wanted to shout but no sound came out as she watched Bora, a girl who had always been kind and made an extra effort to include her when no one else did, begin to climb out of the lopsided bus with bloody hands, glass shards sticking out of her arms, and clearly struggling to hoist herself up and out, only to be sucked back in. Vanishing into the hunk of metal which was more analogous to a meat grinder than anything else, and just like that the girl gone.

Looking to the right, things weren't much better. The boy's bus was- it was gone. Jimin didn't even have time to blink before she witnessed it tipping over the side of the bridge into the water below. The guys were just like Bora. Gone in an instant. There then not there. Though miraculously it seemed a few managed to escape in time and were booking it for their bus, dodging the chaos on the way. However, now that the bus slowed it seemed like just maybe everyone who had survived from the other two busses was going to make it. Jimin pulled backed inside to see the doors open. The other girls nearly jumped in unison as their bruised and battered group mates streamed on board. "Tend to the wounded as best you can and hold tight. We're not going to be late, I'm getting you kids to that train out of this if it's the last thing I do." The driver nearly shouted over the comms, shifting gears and beginning to speed up a great deal after all the survivors finally made it aboard.

Normally Jimin would have been annoyed and scoffed at being called a kid but now wasn't the time. She immediately jumped up and started helping a few girls picking glass out of the newcomers. While a lot of the other girls native to this bus stayed back, all clearly terrified of the recent arrivals, though it wasn't clear if it was because they suspected infection or if they were just freaking out at the injuries. Jimin didn't hesitate, she knew enough basic first aid at least, though it was actually some of the older guys who were most help, having had their two years of military service already they were way more equipped for the situation and it made sense why they even made it this far.

"This is...So fucked."
