Tainted Seoul: Zombie Survival Krp starting plot arc

Chaos in Seoul rises to an inevitable crescendo as the zombie plague spreads incredibly fast.

Three busses headed towards Seoul station carrying Idol trainees on Korea's newest and biggest hit survival show are caught up in the insanity.

At the end of the ride (thanks to a driver who stopped at nothing to get their passengers to the safety of the station) only one bus is left remaining. Mostly those from the first bus, some from the second as many left on their own to find family despite the risk, and a handful who barely managed to escape the third bus to the first.

They're able to board the train just before the station is over run, allowed to enter because of their tickets to Daegu for a big concert they'd been practicing for.

While on the train they notice something is going on in the cars behind them and in front of them, managing to barricade themselves in their train car.

However the train eventually crashes, and the survivors hold themselves in large highschool which was mapped as an evacuation point by the military.

Though not everything is at it seems on the surface.
It never is.

After this point the RPs direction will be free for the players to decide.

Zombie Mechanics
Based on Train to Busan | #Alive | The Zombie Survival Guide | School Live | Personal Flair

- Zombie turn time depends on location, severity, and age
- Closer to the heart, major blood flow means faster infection,
- Large bites or multiple bites also speeds up infection
- Older people turn faster, if your 30+ a single bite on the upper arm is seconds, just under an hour at 20
- 2 days is the max turn time regardless of other factors
- Amputation is a valid method regardless of stage of infection as long as the infected part is removed
- Infected areas flush red and get hot until it reaches a certain size and temp, then death is guaranteed
- Only bites causes infection. Scratches, blood, and other fluids do not spread infection
- Zombies will run at any living human they sense and attempt to consume them
- Zombies senses and abilities are only equal to their body, their limits are also just as equal
- A zombie will push itself to it's bodies limits without mental consideration such as pain or fatigue
- A zombie cannot run forever and will lose stamina, and enter a low energy state if exhausted
- Low energy zombies will shuffle or walk slowly until they've recovered after a day or two
- Zombies will consume fresh dead bodies, regardless of infection until it's reanimated
- Zombies will prioritize uninfected humans, simply biting a bit and moving on if many are around
- Zombies are attracted to sound and do not react to minimal light when no humans are in sight
- Zombies will become dormant and docile in low light environments, only reacting to stimuli passively
- Zombies retain simple memorized/trained repetitive actions they learned in life
- Zombies will loosely follow basic schedules/habits such as moving into shopping centers on weekends
- Zombies are unnaturally able to persist regardless of injury aside from decapitation or loss of brain function
- Zombies can function in inhospitable environments but will be affected by environmental factors
- A zombies body will only function as well as it's capable, until the brain is destroyed
- Zombies do decompose at a very decreased rate, but heat, exposure and weathering can speed it up

RP Mechanics
- Responses will no order and anyone can post at anytime
- The opening arc will be directed by the GM (TerrorKitty) but as long as the plot is followed anyone can do anything
- Zombies and NPCs are player controlled - Another player can manipulate events set up by another as long as it's within reason
- Characters can die, and many NPCs around the main characters in the beginning will die, leave to find family, or simply be MIA
- Players can make NPCs into minor secondary characters and such as the please
- No Mary Sues, but plot armor is acceptable :P
- Action and chaos will slow down after the opening arc but future arcs can certainly have much more
- No word limit, I say aim for 500 words, and if you can/want to go ahead and if you manage 500 it's ok

There's certainly going to be a lot of questions, I'll do my best to answer all of them to the best of my ability.
