If my thread has more than one fandom listed but one of the fandoms falls under a tag (like Naruto Universe) do I use that tag or not? Because only part of my search thread relates to that.

I'm sorry, I meant sub genre not tag.
Also, why is anime both a tag and sub genre? But video games is only a tag but not a sub genre?

just all applicable subgenres, though since it seems yours is more of a multiple fandoms than just a straight naruto fandom, I'd recommend only multiverse. Up to your discretion.
Anime as a sub-genre is should be treated as specific anime fandoms while anime as a tag should be anime as a generalization, i think.

So why is there not a sub genre for video games?

For instance, I would have used the sub genres anime, slice of life...and video games. As I'm looking for Naruto and Overwatch. But there's not one for video games
