His view on the students is that of an older generation, that the students don't know a damn thing and that he was unlucky enough to be chosen as their teacher. However, even with his complaining, he has not yet retired. This has lead some of the illumnie to spread the ill founded rumor that the more that he acts like he hates you, the more he actually likes you.

Battle Type: Overwhelming Mid range firepower.
Phantom Equipment:
The Odin model Aesir Phantom comes equip with a "Greki" and "Freki" autocannons attached to either arm. Two more autocannons assigned the names "Thor" and "Loki" are attached via robotic arms and can be aimed and fired independently via the "Mimir" targeting system. Two shoulder mounted cluster missile pods dubbed Hugin and Mugin can have their missiles locked on to a single target or fired off in an targeted barrage. The final piece of equipment is the back mounted "Gungnir" railgun, which extends to be fired over the shoulder.
Phantom Abilities: Aspect of War
Having been a pilot for a very long time, compared to the students and most other staff, Connor has accumulated and learned to handle a much higher Phantom Count than the typical pilot. Connor can use this to enhance his Phantom's defenses and firepower, though at the cost of reducing his speed and agility.
Overdrive: Berserkir
Only experienced in the Battle of Baulder's Folly. Reports and readings say Odin's Phantom Reserves swelled and caused it to glow, taking on a humanoid appearance as compared to the armored bulk of it's standard profile. Ethereal hounds and warriors stood by him as he faced the encroaching Cesent attack. Reports of the actual battle are not to be believed, however in the aftermath, Pilot Connor was found to have been rendered comatose from his wounds within the burnt out husk of the Odin. Connor remained in a coma for several weeks before finally regaining consciousness with little recollection as to what transpired.

  • During Berserkir, Connor feels no pain, but still suffers from any wounds
  • Ethereal weapons, warriors, and creatures are summoned to fight alongside Connor while in this state. These ethereal objects can be dispelled with a strong enough or lethal (where applicable) blow, but will materialize shortly after.

The Aesir Phantom model was the first tentative steps into production by the Varyag company, the Odin variant being the crown jewel of the reliable, workhorse model. And while Varyag, like many other Phantom production companies, have shifted their focus towards speed and mobility, the company still points to the Odin to show of their prowess and as one of the proudest accomplishments in their history.

Personality: Shigeki will usually show excellent street smarts, capability of thinking on his feet, and that he is very good at problem solving most of the time, but he does not function well within a regimented learning system. He's just book dumb. He will frequently wing things and will be too stupid to be afraid of imminent peril, and will often have a short memory span. But, he is burningly passionate about everything that he does. He gives his all in absolutely everything he does, regardless of the task. He does not know how to be half-hearted or lackadaisical about anything he cares about. Phantom Weapon: Giant broad-sword. Can be detached to make two giant regular swords.
Phantom Abilities: Built-in thrusters for flight. The thrusters in this Phantom make it capable of travelling at supersonic speeds. Can give his sword a cutting edge made of light energy. The edge can get larger based on how much energy is used. There sword also gets a drastic boost in cutting power.
Overdrive: White Knight's whole outline shines with light energy. His sword becomes pure hard light and there is a significant ultra boost in it's cutting power. He can easily form waves of light from mere slashes. His thrusters also kick into overdrive, granting him the ability to move at hypersonic speeds.

Phantom Abilities: His ability is to teleport to multiple targets slicing them down with his katana then appearing back in a spot of his choice. He moves so fast most assume that his ability is being invisible and he is just really fast. He uses that to his advantage
Overdrive: His entire body is engulfed in darkness and when he emerges from the darkness his sword has multiplied into two instead of one. He used his duel blades to make it appear that the area is completely pitch black. He uses this to kill multiple targets without them seeing him coming.

Most would describe Yuri as an imp. She is playful and devilishly so, enjoying opportunities to make people squirm where they stand by unsettling them deeply. Phantom Weapon:
Uruz: A pair of weapons that resemble high-calibre handguns with knives welded into the bottoms of their magazines.

Raidho: Dagaz's main body comes equipped with a pair of blades for feet, tipped with spearpoints and reinforcing their front with spikes.

Phantom Abilities:
Dagaz's Uruz fire powerful superheated blasts that can pierce thick hides and do significant damage at close range, but their abilities drop off rapidly at mid-range. The Uruz and Raidho blades are similarly superheated, making them particularly capable of slicing through armor and defences.

The Dagaz's main mode of movement is hovering, and has rapid acceleration and can travel up to 80 mph, though safety measures advise against this reckless behaviour, seeing as the user is hardly safe from collisions.

Overdrive:
Die Walkure: Dagaz turns its entire body into one superheated projectile, and divekicks straight into it's target, using its body weight, speed, and the fact that it is nothing less than a small comet, to strike the target with destructive explosive force. Though it uses relatively low Phantom Count, it severely exhausts the physical body, and it is ill-advised for someone untrained to execute this technique twice in short succession, if not at all. The suit turns orange entirely when Die Walkure is activated.

Phantom Appearance:
Dagaz resembles a black Grim Reaper-esque Phantom, with a black hood that shrouds its almost featureless helmet, which is a black dome adorned with a steel grin of a skull's. It hugs the body with a somewhat protective layer and features orange trims around its abdominals. Its overall Gothic appearance is probably what earned its ironic name.

A girl who has little to no sense of humor and has a bad case of paranoia. That's Cecelia Trinidad right there. Cecelia is best recognized for her strange behaviors when lying and skepticism. She is the one always ask questions. The girl has a poor strict nature impression that keeps deteriorating every time she pulls it off. She always comes of as nervous. Regardless of how come the situation gets. All brains but unstable emotions.

In the heat of moments. Cecelia has a tendency to panic. This affects her academic intelligence and decision making skills. The irrational nature of Cecelia is something that she has been trying to fight for a lifetime. Who knows when she'll find that courage.

Phantom Weapon:

The Lenient- Basically, it's just a plasma Minigun. Using the user's phantom energy count. Lenient is a right arm machine gun that shoots plasma rounds rapidly, roughly 400 rounds per minute. This weapon alone can drain Cecelia's Phantom count faster than anything she has in store. Other than that her left hand can smash walls.

Phantom Abilities:
Mech strength- Thanks to Cecelia's phantom build. It's natural power strength can lift 45tons of weight, lifting objects with little to no effort.

Data goggles- Her phantom comes with a state of the data goggles. Added thermal, night and X-ray. This goggles can link themselves to other phantom users. These Data goggles also keep notes and data from observation alone basically a notebook function for Cecelia.

Mega Thrusters- Cecelia is one of the slower phantom pilots. Her armor is ultra durable but slow in speed. Ironic for a support class. Not in flight. Although average at speed. Clemency's speed is 3x times faster in air. Mostly, Cecelia is seen flying most of the time.

Hands of health- Medical tech was always the harder tech to develop. Leaving Cecelia with limited medical options. Cecelia phantom has a huge metal box on it's back. Here, to more robotic hands will aid patient for her. These hands are controlled with her neural brain activity, almost like an extension of her limbs. These hands are equipped with tools and medicine found on the huge box. To heal a Phantom pilot wounds she has to be up close and personal, to recharge/provide energy shields to others she can throw energy shield grenades from a distance or charge them directly.

Energy shield- Lastly, Cecelia's Phantom comes with a small energy force field that envelops the whole phantom. This thin energy shield regenerates after 15 seconds upon destroyed state. (Phantom design has Cecelia's fragile body exposed)

Cecelia demanded the most armored phantom Lone pine has to offer. It stands at 7'10 with it's limbs armored and enlarged. Two hands are seen in the back emerging from a large box. Right hand is replaced with a large cannon. Large shield plating on both arms. The color of the phantom is red and white.

Gadreels sprout wings and can fly if he has enough energy and can also create a large force field witch protect but can also be used to ram enemies and causing them to burn. Gadreel is basically a flying tank with medieval weapons.

Overdrive:
If a situation is tense, the battle overwhelming and is the phantom/user becomes stress. The phantom will activate Af (Angel of Anger). The phantom will lit up in red light blinding the enemy. This build-up of energy will cause the phantom to become twice as stronger, making the phantom go berserk, with the urge of endless bloodlust. Despite this user has full control and can use it for there advantage. Af mode would also make the phantom bigger and thicker armor.

Personality:
Mai is a loving and caring person who treats her friends, and even strangers, with kindness. Off the battlefield, Mai has rarely if ever been shown to be in a bad mood, and evidently can tolerate greenhorn eccentricities. She is very popular, not only among the students and staff but also with many people outside of the task force and as a result, is often called upon to represent the task force in promotional content.

Mai can come across as the dainty absent-minded type but deep down inside she's a battle-hardened and merciless killer perfectly suited to the job. Known as a demon in certain circles of the task force even. As on the battlefield, Mai is just that, a demon. Unrelenting, merciless and ruthless to a T. It's a very hard task to piss her off now that she'd off the battlefield but do so and your head might just roll.

Akuma to Odoruyōsei (Yōsei)


Battle Type: Close Range

Phantom Weapon:
Yōsei's weapons are the sword-like blades that take the form of the model's arms as well as its legs. These blades are extremely sharp and can cut tungsten plating with ease due to the atomic sharp blade edges. Protruding from the model's knees are two spear-like appendages with fine points that much like the blades are sharpened to an atomic level.

Phantom Abilities:
Yōsei is a model designed with speed and agility at the forefront. This model boasts extreme speeds as well as providing the pilot with free movement at such extreme speeds allowing for gymnastic level feats at blinding speeds. To that end the model is very lightweight and slimline with very little protective plating. This Phantom does have one specific ability besides the enhancements. This unit has the ability to 'Blink Phase'. A short-range teleport of sorts that allows the unit to travel to a location within the blink of an eye. Night Vision and Thermal optics installed.

Overdrive: Yōsei's overdrive allows the user to move at near-light speeds. This makes it appear as though blink drive is in constant use but that is wrong. Operating the phantom at these speed requires an unexplainable mastery over its systems and inhuman reflexes.

Extra Notes:
Mai's family practice the ancient martial art of Shi no Odori. Shi no Odori is a martial art that has a key focus on movement. The art of dancing around your opponent, avoiding attacks, creating and o waiting for specific openings to profit off and using attacks against the very person who makes them all fall under it's primary teachings. Essentially Shi no Odori is a dance of death. A dance that allows the practitioner to either play with their target mercilessly or strike them down with one precise blow. Shi no Odori is not for sport it is purely for killing and incorporates both blades and hand to hand combat.

Mai was awarded two medals during her time active in the field: The Medal of Honor and Distinguished Service Cross

Official Task Force Members often refer to Mai as 'The Fairy of Death'

Mai is famous for being the face/poster girl of the taskforce. She often appears on recruitment fliers, promotional videos and is often interviewed.

Curious: Kara has an almost childlike curiosity, likely due to being stuck at home growing up. She particularly enjoys people watching and also has a large interest in Phantoms and how they function. It's not strange to see her gushing over an opponents Phantom even during a sparing match.

Naive: As a kid she rarely got to experience the outside world, typically only reading of it in books or magazines. This has lead to her seeing the world through rose colored glasses.

Selfless: With her cheerful and optimistic outlook on life, Kara has made it her mission to help people in need. She sees a good heart in everyone she meets, which results in a pacifistic nature.

Careless: Being the youngest out of three sisters, Kara was always treated like a child. She used this as a quick and easy way to shirk responsibility. Never having grown out of it put a hamper on her ability to keep a level-head.

Phantom Name: Exarch
Battle Type: Midrange Disruptor
Phantom Weapon: Exarch is equipped with a burst fire pulse rifle. Doesn't do much damage, but works in a pinch against aerial and long range enemies. It's also light enough to quickly maneuever with while firing. Reinforced plating around the legs and arms allow for its punches and kicks to pack more power.
Phantom Abilities: Kara's quirky personality translates into her phantom and her fighting style in the form of gravitational manipulation. Exarch has 2 gravity spikes on each of it's arms and 2 on it's head, which can be manipulated into a multitude of formations either on the ground or in the air to create an area of increased gravity. Kara can mentally control the spikes to move so long as she can see them. The gravity increase varies in power depending on how small or large the area is, ranging from about 4 times gravity at a 5ft X 5ft area to barely noticeable at anything larger than a 20ft X 20ft area. Creating multiple areas increases the phantom count usage and reduces the effectiveness of each area significantly. While Exarch can't fly, it does grant the user increased leg strength, allowing it to easily clear large gaps and reliably take out low altitude enemies. This also allows for increased ground speed.

Overdrive: Ain Soph ~ Once Ain Soph is activated all activate gravity spikes are recalled to Exarch. In an attempt to protect the user it uses its remaining phantom count to emit a high energy gravity field that stops most projectiles in their tracks. This gravity field also increases the power of Exarch's punches and kicks by adding a significant amount of weight behind them.

P.S. Please let me know if you think the abilities are overloaded or need to be changed in some way. I tried to limit them by only having the gravity able to be affected by the spikes and attempting to keep the effective area reasonable.

Blaire doesn't like to be involved in a lot of things especially trouble but has a strong sense of responsibility and is very straightforward, he is blunt enough to say his opinions and criticisms, but he is not a bad person and is pretty awkward in normal conversations. He is very efficient and analytical, avoiding wasting his efforts on things but if he does fail, Blaire takes it to heart. He is pretty reliable and cooperative if his lone wolf front is not taken into consideration.

His hobby includes exercise and playing video games, he has a properly maintained and well-toned body from proper and daily exercise, he was a very sickly nerdy kid before but it all changed when he resolved himself to become strong. Blaire became disciplined after 4 years of training in martial arts when his parents saw his potential, they enrolled him in the Tactical Defense Academy in Lone Pine and gave him a variation of the Phobia Family's Arch Arak'nid Core, now he is on the road to develop and reach his full potential though that will be too much trouble for Blaire, he will get there soon enough.

Phantom Weapon:
Snake Blade - Built-in Small Pieces of blades connected by a strong wire. Can be used like a razor whip or a normal blade.
Assault Rifle with an Underbarrel Shotgun, both with built-in suppressor. It uses a reflex sight.
Web System: The Arch Arak'nid Phantom creates strings that are stored within it. Its composed of 3 types:
  • Web String - The Web Strings is composed of 3 types: Stick, Steel, and Sharp
  • Web Net - The Web Net functions as it is named, its appearance is a silver colored flexible web with 3 spheres at each end that can also latch unto targets if activated, this is the Phantom's Main Firepower along the traps. It is normally capable of capturing 1-5 targets and has 3 uses: Explosion, Paralyzation, Freezing. This Web can also expand its area of effect depending how stretched out the web is, meaning it can include more than 5 targets in its 3 effects.
  • Web Trap - This web acts similar as the net with the only difference of it to be deployed anywhere and can blend in its surroundings. It has 5 types: Stick, Sharp, Explosion, Paralyzation, and Freezing.

Phantom Abilities:
Thermal Sight
Enhanced Senses and Agility
Resistant to Extreme Conditions
Latchers - Arch Arak'nids can latch unto surfaces though they can be limited but with their Terrain Adaptation function, these latchers are enhanced even further.
Sound Masking - The Phantom provides extremely minimal sounds, with cutting-edge technology, the Phantom doesn't make unnecessary noises making its movements silent and each step quiet.
Invisibility - The Invisibility only lasts for 20 seconds, he can still be sensed through various means, trigger detection and traps and exposed with a thermal sight.
Terrain Adaptation:
  • Water Strider - Allows the Phantom to glide through water.
  • Dust Walker - Efficient Mobility through sands and storms. This is also applicable to snow terrain.
  • Rock Treader - Enhances the Strength of the Phantom's Araknid Limbs to dig deep into solid terrain.
  • Mountain Nomad - Enhances Climbing and Latching Power of the Phantom.
  • Aerial Weaver - Allows Aerial Movement.
  • Trapdoor Arak'nid - Acts like the Rock Treader but trading its Climbing and Latching abilities for even more digging power and create holes in the ground.
Phantom Equipments:
Arch Arak'nid Drones - Non-lethal Micro Transparent Spider drones that can latch unto various surfaces and is generated by the Phantom itself, its main function is for tracking and surveillance through AI or Blaire's control, it can also spot targets and place them on the Phantom's EGS HUD. It also has a self-destruct command when activated, it acts like a stun grenade to disable the senses of targets within its range. The Arch Arak'nid is immune to the Spider Drone's stun effects.

Environmental Grid System (EGS) - a mapping system that automatically scans its surroundings for the user and place it on the HUD. It also includes what the Arch Arak'nid Drones see. It is also fully customizable to recognize landmarks and locations. The Map can also be passed to allied Phantoms as long as the Arch Arak'nid is still active and functioning.

Overdrive:
Unfortunately, Blaire's Phantom has multiple functions and abilities that his Older Brother, Blaine, the family's sole genius cannot fit in an overdrive. However, a project has begun before the events of Blaire's enrollment to create Blaire's Overdrive called "The Myriad Mist Project", his brother mentioned it will be an area-type Overdrive that spews out a special kind of extremely dense fog in a large area.

Phantom Additional Information:
Arch Arak'nid is a Phantom with limited amount of high-firepower abilites, its fighting capabilities depends on the user.
The Phantom is not suitable for frontline wars and missions unlike its original counterpart but has more movement and much lighter.
The Main Arch Arak'nid is used for frontline battles with 6 modules of Terrain Adaptation, Blaire's variation can only carry 4 but can be interchanged when out of combat.
Although the Arch Arak'nid variation is currently weaker than its original, it has the potential to be more stronger if upgraded and modified properly.

Additional Information:
Phobia's Martial Arts is a mixture of different styles of combat including grappling, targeting weakpoints, hand-to-hand, and a vast variety of weaponry, a very versatile fighting style for its Phantom Users. Blaire is the most proficient out of all when it comes to utilizing the bizarre snake blades, he has experience with other weaponry but he is second to none when it comes to using his specialized weapon.

Of the 4 Phobia Siblings, Blaire is the youngest. Their Arch Arak'nid Phantoms has codenames with special modifications and different designs

About Aurelio's Phantom: Aurelio's Phantom is one of the more mystical side of the Phantom builds. Designed exclusively to the boy's fighting style Unorthodox fighting abilities. The Phantom's energy pool regenerate's a little faster than most to balance the fact that The Drowned Prince is very fragile and no energy fields to defend the crowned Phantom pilot due to it's ancient design. If it's not already obvious enough, Aurelio specializes combating the Cesants in aquatic environments.

Atlantic trident- This long triple head spear is one of the most oldest and most durable weapons known to Phantom weaponry. It's spearhead is designed to resemble a trident and flies faster than one. It's silent yet quick bullet speed can compete with modern day weapons. Once thrown Aurelio can call it back by reaching back to it despite the distance apart making it a hard to disarm weapon. Even in an aquatic environment, velocity doesn't drop.

Crystal blades- 9 diamond crystal swords that floats behind Aurelio at the ready. These nine swords are fully controlled by him, giving him more open opportunities of combat and an omni-directional range. He can fight two foes at once without even looking at one behind him. The max range of these swords is 20ft before it rubber bands itself back to their user.

Marine Claws- These twelve inch claws appear in Aurelio's fingertips. It can be manually sheath itself to hide in his gauntlets for surprise attacks.

Phantom Abilities:
Due to Aurelio's more primitive way of dealing with the beasts. His Phantom weapons and abilities are quite more unique to ensure effective combat and high chance of survivability.

Aqua cloak- A manual ability where Aurelio's body gets enveloped by a watery substance which bleeds out his skin to cloak him invisible entirely. He cannot bring others with him, plus he will only be revealed once again if he comes to attack his prey (It is possible to land another hit but it is an advance skill to learn.

Hydro substitute- Aurelio is able to perform a perfect clone out of himself made of water to take hits for him but the catch is that the replica cannot move. It will only print Aurelio's last pose to the moment he uses it. Once hitting the dummy sub. It will turn into water completely and leave a puddle of water behind. In the moment he triggers the clone he is given 3 seconds of invisibility after activation.

Sea serpent dancer- While not given the extraordinary speed and strength just like his fellow phantom users is however able to move more freely and naturally without consequence. In fact he can dodge faster without much of a reaction time needed. He is able to walk on tightropes and block projectiles and melee attacks at precise timing. It's almost like walking in the park. This why he can fight multiple opponents even without paying as much attention doing so.

Neptune dweller- In water, Most phantoms commonly slow down as they are not designed to traverse through the waters but Aurelio's Phantom has no issue travelling in water. In fact he has a 35% boost on speed in underwater.


Overdrive:

As amazing as it sounds. The phantom actually works better if he is surrounded by water (floating in the middle of the sea is recommended to achieve the best effect). If the time calls for storm of the seas. Aurelio's Phantom crown will glow power, the power to waters of the world. If no water is found anywhere during his Overdrive. His phantom will produce a large amount of water coming from his armor using his Phantom count as the substitute for water. The amount of liters of water he provides is equal to a small lake. At this state he can control all this water to any shape or form he desires to his advantage. (Turn them into whirlpools, turn them into water tendrils, create tidal waves, anything) Speed and strength is also increased at this state. The critical drawback other than relying to natural water environments is that by the end of this 1-minute unrelenting force of nature. Aurelio's Phantom will either be too weak to fight any further or put him to vulnerable staggered state of position where he can no longer move.

-The Apocalypsis Hell-cannon

Mounted under the Purgatus' left shield-arm, it works by inducing a minute sub-molecular reaction within a highly-pressurized napalm-petrol fuel mix located within its reactor core and then projecting the resulting plasma through the canister and from the weapon's barrel as a blast of incredible heat, releasing a tightly-focused beam of intense, searing heat. Essentially, it fires a high concentrated lance of explosive power that can cut through most armor. When fired it is accompanied by a distinctive hissing sound as the beam boils away the water in the air, then a roaring blast as the beam reduces the target to charred scraps. It is powerful enough to reduce most super-tanks to molten slag with a single blast. The range at which it maintains most of its effectiveness before it dissipates to non-lethal levels is approximately five-hundred meters.

-Dawn Blade

Made from the strongest materials known the exist, its blade is sharp enough to cut through rock and all known forms of infantry and even vehicle armor; and its sculpted surface flickers with psychic energies which paint glittering arcs of destruction as it is swung. But it's true strength is not in the sharpness of its edge but rather is serves as a deposit for his psychic abilities to both enhance and control it. The blade absorbs any blood it comes into contact with and acts as a way to refuel its masters power. Fennstrum imparted most of his soul within the blade in order to imbue it with its current powers and should it be broken or removed from his possession for a week, it is very likely that he would wither and perish in an agonizing death as his body begins to slowly shatter from his unregulated powers.

Phantom Abilities:

Smite- Channeling the Phantom and it's user's inherent psychic powers, it is able to produce a solid ball of concentrated electricity from it's sword and is able to shoot forth a lightning bolt from its fingertips.

Golden Shield- A shimmering golden force barrier is created around the Purgatus, protecting it from harm. It is able to withstand small-arms fire but not much more than that. Enemies can pass through it as it only blocks objects moving at an high-speed, like bullets. It is also extremely vulnerable to magical attacks.

Blood Boil- Directing the Dawn Blade towards a target, causing his foe's blood to explosively burst from every pore.

The Blood Lance- The Sword summons a gore-splattered golden psychic lance and launches it at his enemies, skewering man and machine caught in its path.

Should the pilot be placed into immediate danger, most typically in an extremely lethal situation, the core of the Purgatus goes into overdrive. It lets out a shrill scream as the machine-spirt within it overwhelms the mind of the pilot, wrangling control by force and placing the pilot into a comatose state. The Phantom enters a state of savage, animalistic battle frenzy in which it's power output dramatically increases. The Hell-cannon can possess the power to now reduce entire city blocks into rubble and if anyone even stands close to the gun when it fires, even if their just behind it, they are likely to suffer lethal six-degree burns.

Meanwhile, his blade shall have constant arcs of electricity shoot forth from it, each able to turn men to ashen waste, and glows a fierce amber.

It will stop at nothing to preserve the well-being of its pilot and can barely distinguish who with friend or fiend. So, it is recommended to keep one's distance away from it. It will only cease it's berserk overdrive if all threats to its pilot are neutralized.

Eryn is reserved, soft-spoken and cautious. He does not take unnecessary risks unless his allies insist on it. He lacks the confidence to hold a conversation with strangers, so he relies on friends to do the talking for him. That said, he’s fully confident in his combat abilities and is able to fight efficiently as long as team morale is high. He takes his support role very seriously and will do all he can to fulfill those duties, sometimes to a fault....'to a fault' meaning he tends to get a little TOO into his job, in ways that may be considered disturbing for his patients.

Phantom Weapon: Four large explosive cannons, damage equivalent to 120mm cannons. He can technically use his support tools as emergency melee weapons too, but those are only for when he's really desperate since they're not quite meant for that role. A bonesaw to an alien head is still quite enjoyable for him, though.

Phantom Abilities:
Besides the large cannons, this phantom's real talents are in its support functions. In its "arms" attached to Eryn's own arms are a variety of mechanically controlled tools for on-field phantom repairs and emergency medical aid, such as welding torches, spare wires, solder irons, duct tape, syringes, bandages, disinfectant, painkillers, defibrilators etc. The phantom's lack of proper armour allows Eryn to quickly move to injured or damaged allies to repair them as best he can. Of course he can't always repair a phantom to full working order, but just enough to keep them fighting or to retreat to later recieve proper repairs. Same for the phantom's medical functions. The spherical shape near the top of the phantom's frame is a 360-degree camera hooked up to his eye-piece which allows him to remain vigilant about his surroundings while providing care to someone, as he's typically stuck in one spot whenever he's repairing or administering aid to allies.

Overdrive: "You don't die until I say so."
All cannons point upwards and fire out a combined energy array to reach almost all allies in a given area. The affected allies temporarily have their body's regenerative functions heavily sped up, allowing them to heal most injuries in a matter of seconds, while also restoring some of their Soul Count. This is done at the cost of Eryn's own Soul Count, draining him to the extent that his Phantom becomes completely inoperable until it eventually builds back up.

Refined. Well-behaved. Modest. These are all traits that DON'T apply to Mackenzie, matter of fact, she's quite the opposite. An impulsive and passion driven grease monkey, there's little in life that Mackenzie enjoys more than spending every waking hour of her existence locked up in her workshop, diligently working on the preservation of a Phantom's "health". As a result of her nature it's quite a chore to properly develop a bond with this crazy mechanic, for she probably values the safety of your Phantom more than she cares about you. Still, Mackenzie is a keen observer and should she notice you treating your Phantom as a partner and not a tool then she'll start viewing you under a positive light, which will result in her pouring her love into the maintenance of your Phantom.

It comes as no surprise that Mackenzie isn't exactly the best friend to have. Even if you were to set aside her obsession Mackenzie by default can be considered to be quite rude, as she chooses to speak without a filter. She won't lie to you or try to sprinkle her words with sugar, 'cause this mechanic is as blunt as one can be. However, that doesn't mean she won't try to cheer you up during a rough patch, her methods will undoubtedly be odd though. Mackenzie is also quite knowledgeable on the likes/dislikes of those close to her, this being information that she uses to try to brighten up their days as best as she can.

Despite her role as a mechanic Mackenzie is more than willing to give private lessons to those students who are willing to put up with her way of acting. Said lessons include, but are not limited to: Proper Phantom maintenance, describing the inner working of your Phantom and even counseling should you hurt your Phantom's "feelings". Don't take her abrasive nature as a free-pass to break the Academy's rules though, there's no way in hell that she'd be willing to risk her dream job for the sake of the amusement of some rascals.

While combat isn't Mackenzie's first choice on ways to spend her afternoon she will never hesitate to don Hephaestus and lead the charge towards an army of Cesants. During these situations Mackenzie becomes very protective of the Phantoms (And some of their pilots) on her team, presenting herself before her enemies as an unsurpassable obstacle to enable those operating on the back lines and around her. By the end of a battle Mackenzie will gladly offer her aid to those Phantoms which have endured the most pain, chastising the pilot should she need to.

A large hammer, a simple yet effective design, perfect for introducing the word "concussion" into the Cesant's vocabulary. Equipped with a simple rocket propulsion system on the back for more powerful swings. Not much to it, Mackenzie believes its simplicity brings reliability and so chooses to keep alterations to a minimum.


Phantom Abilities:
Hephaestus wasn't built to be a damage dealer within a team, rather its meant to be utilized as a damage sponge. While it's more than capable to kill a Cesant it will never be able to match Phantoms that specialize in offense, instead Hephaestus operates as an imposing distraction to facilitate the disposing of any hostile force. This Phantom is best utilized as an unmovable first line of defense or as a potent battering ram to disrupt the formation of hostile forces, but it heavily relays on the offensive power of other Phantoms to be able to survive. By default this Phantom offers a grand amount of strength and a thick coat of armor, though it lacks agility when not utilizing its detachable wings. Its abilities include:

Lemnos guard (LG):
A purely defensive ability originating from the Phantom's hammer, it consists of a large shield spanning a total of 10 meters in height and 15 meters in width. While it may be capable to withstand a large amount of damage LG makes it so that that it's near impossible for Hephaestus to fight in any sort of way.

Pride of the Sintians (PoS)
Upon activation the head of Hephaestus' hammer will glow with a molten hue, allowing the use of attacks capable of wearing down even the strongest of metals after multiple successive hits due to the heat. However, prolonged use of this ability will result in the deformation (Or even full destruction) of the hammer, thus it should be used with caution.

Kyllopodíōn stance (KS)
Combat in the front lines will always be taxing for the Phantom's pilot both physically and mentally, as such Hephaestus will automatically/manually provide the pilot with an adrenaline shot during prolonged fights. Overuse of this ability may lead to heart issues resulting in permanent damage to the tissue or even death.

Etna's burst (EB)
Two small speakers pop out of Hephaestus' shoulder and start playing a high pitched noise specially designed to irritate Cesants, hopefully drawing their attention towards the Phantom. While not very damaging to humans prolonged use of this skill may result in the temporary loss of the pilot's hearing.


Overdrive:
Aegis breastplate (AG)
Hephaestus' crevices begin glowing in a similar manner to the hammer during PoS, all energy is diverted into the Phantom's defensive systems, effectively becoming an impenetrable bastion. But, when using AG Hephaestus is anchored to the floor, limiting movement from the waist down, though still being able to freely utilize its upper body. This ability is meant to be used as a last ditch attempt to preserve the life of Hephaestus' pilot until reinforcements arrive or in order to serve as a stopping force inside of a narrow space.

-Mackenzie's day to day routine always includes outside exercise at one point or another, the last thing she wants is to fail Hephaestus due to the frailty of her own body.

A fully customized composite bow that can be used as a personal-defense weapon, or extended for large-caliber salvos over long distances. HELLCAT features an en-bloc cycling bolt that facilitates up to five simultaneous rounds before drawing/loading again. It is also equipped with a red dot optic, and a backup iron sight for medium-to-short range engagements. The default core-conjured ammunition is classified as "High-Explosive Light-Capped Anti-Tank", making it especially effective against armored targets, while not burdened by bullet-drop or trajectory off-splash. Rather than firing tradition arrows, the ammunition for the HELLCAT is composed of twenty-mike-mike (20mm) rounds loaded into separate en-bloc clips. The HELLCAT makes a distinctive "PING" sound when a clip is ejected from its action.

The Bushmaster's unique equipment, HELLCAT, is an offensive longbow that is capable of sniping targets with high-explosive rounds like that of an artillery piece. The HELLCAT is generally hunkered down in order to utilize its effectiveness while stabled.
Utilizing core-sustained magic to levy extra equipment, Bushmaster is generally best at ferrying ammunition, defensive entrenchment and providing artillery support alongside other Phantoms. The Bushmaster's distinctive weakness is its lack in mobility, prompting the need for the use of Composite Ostwind-Bremerton Reactive Armor, of which acts similarly to logs/sandbags mounted on tanks to protect its user from being attacked while hunkered down in artillery-mode.

Overdrive:
[Mutually Assured Destruction]
The Bushmaster is capable of overclocking its core to let off a powerful salvo that proliferates its target over a huge radius - engulfing all that is caught in the blast. It's blast effect is estimated as 5000 lbs. (2.5 tons) worth of high-explosive detonation. The splash effect not only engulfs everything in its wake, but also cause a huge shockwave that hinders movement and visibility for a brief while for those within the area. Detrimental effects include a ruptured HELLCAT, extreme exhaustion, and hangover nausea and migraines within 48 hours after MAD is used in the field.

Personality: Ophelia is a very straightforward and blunt individual. The type to charge headfirst where others might fear to tread, both on the field and in awkward social situations. She can come off as harsh or rude, even if she doesn’t necessarily intend it. She’s simply too honest for her own good, and though on some level, she’s aware, she has no intention of changing. Flattery and sugarcoating would instill false ideas through deception, while flowery language would only waste people’s time. Completely unacceptable, in her eyes. She’d much rather die to a cesant than be a detriment to others. She actually cares quite a bit about others, and her cold words are not always representative of how she feels. If forced to choose between safely completing a mission or saving an ally, she will always go for the latter, though she’ll never openly admit that.

Phantom Weapon: Lance/drill hybrid. The lance is capable of spinning like a drill, allowing it to penetrate through most defences with ease.
Phantom Abilities: A highly mobile Phantom built for aerial combat. Its armor is based primarily on its front and sides, leaving the back with considerably less protection in favor of high powered boosters. Unicorn is capable of moving at extreme speeds through the use of these boosters. There are additional thrusters to provide better control and for evasive maneuvers. Its signature horn is not purely decorative, as it serves a similar function to a radar.

Overdrive: Unicorn heats up and gains greatly enhanced speed. The faster it moves, the hotter it gets. The blinding heat radiating off the Phantom can set fire to its surroundings and inflict heavy damage on its enemies. Small explosions can be generated around it, as a form of point defense to ward off attacks.

Personality: Benkei is a cool dude. He's very friendly and he's the type of guy that everyone knows and is acquainted with. He is also quite funny. Jokes, teases, and sarcastic remarks seem to naturally flow out of his mouth regarding any topic he's talking about. He has no filter. He can be brutally honest and he can also be very informal and lax with people he shouldn't be. Benkei usually has a nonchalant carefree attitude but he can and will show emotion. His recklessness and impulsive habits tend to get him in trouble often. Lots of times he'll do and say stuff that will get him in trouble but not care about the consequences. In lots of cases, if "I don't care" was a person, Benkei would be it. He can also be quite vulgar.

Aside from his jokester traits, he is overall a nice person. He's not afraid to say something inappropriate, rude, or disrespectful. It will probably even flow out of his mouth, but he is deep down a kind and caring individual.

Phantom Weapon: Silver Gospel's weapon takes form as a white twin sword that looks a lot like a spear that has golden light traced all across, which he is able to wield using the handle in the middle.
Phantom Abilities: Its main ability are its wings, which generate large balls of beam energy to attack, either in singular direction or a spray attack, both of which deal out major damage. It is also equiped with an energy field that is very sturdy. All its abilities are powered by a very large power source.
Overdrive: In Overdrive, its metal wings are replaced with ones created with pure energy, giving the Silver Gospel an image of a Seraph. All its attacks are heavily upgraded, with an additional ability of expanding its wings, each to the size of a Phantom, and folding its wings around the target and either crush them, or enclosing the area so as to concentrate all the energy attacks into one spot.

Personality:
JT's most apparent trait is his stoic and intimidating nature, people tend to avoid him, and he's quiet almost to the point of being nonverbal, and whenever he isn't in class or training, he's either at the various gyms on Lone Pine, the library, or his room.

JT keeps most at arms length, usually by shrugging off people at best, and cruelly telling them off at worst. JT's drive and grit are almost second to none, and anything besides perfection in his mind is a complete failure, his skewed standards also applies to those with whom he works with, often looking down on those who he perceives as inadequate, although he is not adverse to offering tips and pointers and also offering to train others. He is professional in every sense of the word, and he isn't afraid to call something the way it is.

Emotions are percieved as a weakness, weakness gets people killed, therefore JT does his best to ignore them. In his opinion logic will always beat passion, this goes exactly the way you would think with people who bottle things up, he ends up frustrated or facing inner turmoil quite often, worsening his mood and making him extra grating.

Abomination type phantoms are produced by the Kaiserin group, a biotech firm that specializes in the treatment of degenerative diseases as well as limb regeneration and reconstruction. The phantom itself takes the form of a virus that infects and is assimilated into virtually every cell of the user. The phantom itself is still in the Alpha stage, and successful integration is a harrowing as well as dangerous process. Those who are bonded with the phantom are able to reshape their bodies at will, the phantom infection is capable of changing the atomic makeup of the host's biomass, as well as create organic material that is stronger than most known metals. The side effects of this transformation however are tied to a shift in brain chemistry that greatly enhances the reptilian brain, causing the subject to revert to a savage beast. This makes for unique weapons suited as shock troops, scouts, and trackers, although keeping their more bestial nature in check can prove to be a challenge at times. Washouts of integration are rarely left unscathed, either the body rejects and fights the virus, making for a lengthy hospital stay, or mutations begin happening uncontrollably until the subject expires.

Phantom Weapon:
The organic metal that comprises JT's phantom is used as the main weapon, due to its malleable nature it can be shaped into multiple objects, but most are unrefined and primal in nature, being it claws or various appendages designed to rip and tear apart anything in his way.

Phantom Abilities:
JT's phantom is an oddity and its name, Abomination, is well earned. Instead of a suit that manifests, Abomination twists and reshapes JT's skin, muscles, and bone into a living weapon. In essence there is no suit in a traditional sense because JT himself is the suit. JT's strength, speed, senses, and durability are elevated to freakish levels by Abomination, the price however is his mind. The metallic flesh that makes up his body is capable of mending itself as well as being able to change form. Repairing and mending are energy intensive, but can be done much easier if biological matter is absorbed into the body to assist in replacing material instead of creating from scratch, the quickest and most efficient way for this material to be utilized is by ingesting it.

Overdrive:
-Obliterator
Abomination takes biological weapon to a whole new level. When its overdrive is activated it seeks out weapons around it with tendrils, either absorbing it into the body or creating a perfect copy out of flesh metal and begins manufacturing ammunition out of the body. Ammo will keep being manufactured as long as Abomination has energy, and new weapons can be assimilated/created as long as Obliterator is activated.

Personality:
Krueger's mouth was probably the reason he was posted as an instructor, he never passes an opportunity to heckle, insult, or make a joke when the opportunity presents itself. His wit and sarcasm made him a headache for officers and command elements of the Bundeswehr, something he took great pride in, his humor also made him a godsend for his comrades, being able to laugh even when being shot at as well as make others laugh too made him popular in the Kommando spezialkräfte, a selection he almost failed because the trainers hated him.
Krueger also applies his witty remarks to teaching students, believing that if someone takes themselves too seriously they'll never reach their full potential, despite his laid back appearance Krueger is anything but, his verbal prodding allows him to see what makes someone tick, which then allows him to identify a method for subsequent training that will build a student's skills better.
Despite his seemingly normal personality, if someone was observant they would notice inconsistencies in Krueger's behavior, laughing too hard, dull eyes behind the grin, and body language that didn't match the joviality in his voice. These minutiae put together make it seem like Krueger is putting on act or attempting to hide something, especially because he refuses to go in depth on exactly how he lost his left leg below the knee.

Phantom Abilities:
Jäger is equipped with an extremely comprehensive suite of stealth and concealment capabilities, suit wide anti thermal coating, sonar AND radar absorbing composite, suit wide sound dampening, and an experimental "cold core" that reduces heat emission and thermal buildup to almost zero. Jäger series can also sweep with a unique passive/active sonar and radar that is hooked up to the central nervous system of the pilot, allowing them to "feel" objects in their vicinity. Jäger's also come with an active camouflage system that adapts like chameleon skin to make a perfect camouflage of any environment. The phantom is not heavily armored and designed to be highly maneuverable, sacrificing heavy armor for speed and agility.

Phantom Weapons:
although Krueger has access to a pulse rifle capable of taking down most ceasants, Max prefers a more nuanced approach, he uses a high powered mass driver in pistol form in one hand, and a monomolecular edged knife in another, the mass driver is more than capable of sending a depleted uranium tipped sabot clear through multiple enemies, and the knife can easily finish anything unfortunate enough to survive.

Jäger model phantoms posses a holographic generator that can create a multitude of effects, when put into overdrive the generator will make multiple copies of the original that are capable of independent action through Jäger itself recording and memorizing actions and subroutines of the pilot, The holograms are made tangible by the generator and can attack targets as a swarm or independently. More energy is used for every copy made.
