Welcome to the Solsticea Galaxy stranger!

Solsticea is one the largest known Galaxies throughout the expanding ever expanding Universe known as Aetheria. Here lies many different planets, all of which are colonized by both humans and aliens alike. While some planets hold smaller farm colonies and others having large amusement parks, some even being used mainly as a place for military bases for both training, and even R&D. Out of all of these planets however, there is only one that is completely off limits to civilians and even military personnel unless given direct permission by members of the High Council, this planet is known as Terra or otherwise known as Earth. It is unknown many nowadays as to why the planet is off limits since it had been well over three hundred years since mankind and aliens had left Terra only to come and live upon what is now known as Sol-Terra; an enormous space station that houses nearly triple the amount of the population that Terra once held and even then, still holds more than enough room for more. Those that live and are born on the station at times are not even aware that they live on a giant hovering station at times unless they are told or if they had paid attention in school. While in schools, children are taught about where they live and the history of Terra and what it was like on the planet's surface, it is never told about how the planet had become uninhabitable let alone why it is off limits to head down to the surface of the planet itself.

After learning about the history and life upon Terra, students are taught about the United Intergalactic High Council. The Council consists of a large number of individuals, and generally there is one person of each species all throughout the Universe that represents their people. While getting a meeting with the High Council is near impossible, when a meeting with them is called forth, or if the council must make a public announcement, their faces and bodies are normally covered in darkness of shadow to avoid being identified. The High Council was formed even before Solterra had been built and had even existed when Terra had still been habitable. Their role is the largest throughout the Universe, as their decision is that of which determines the laws of the Universe itself, such as what Galaxies are allowed to be entered, which are restricted, what information can or cannot be shared amongst the public and even when one planet goes to war with another, about how much supplies each planet should get.

Next, students learn about the men and women in uniform that protect the people and the Universe as a whole. The first is the local authorities and how the public should simply follow the ordinary laws and that if there is ever any questions, it is recommended that anyone can approach an officer to ask any question they might have about directions or anything appropriate that an officer would be able to generally answer. The second is that of Solterra's military force, the military force of Solterra is one of, if not the largest military force throughout the known universe due to it not only consisting of human combatants but as well as alien ones as well. The final and generally most lethal are the Crimson Void Legion, these men and women are rarely seen as they are the personal military special forces that protects the High Council. Unlike members from the general military, those of the Crimson Void Legion are given specialized and intense training that they are prime selected by members of the Council themselves. The training is cruel and risk of death is known amongst all candidates, passing training grants the candidate a specialized armor that covers their face and entirety of their body, this armor not only increases their strength and durability but as well as enhances ones abilities greatly but also comes at the risk that the longer the user wears the armor the more their mental state and physical bodies will suffer from within it as the armors feeds off the life force of the individual every second it is used for any form of combat. It is told during training that if they were to pass their training, their identity as a member of the Legion is not to ever be shared amongst any loved ones or the public and their duties are to the protection of the Council only, straying from this duty is considered betrayal and immediately the individual is sentenced to either jail or death.

After learning about those that protect the Universe and its people, the next lesson is one of the most important but also one that is already well known amongst the public already but still required by all educators to inform their students about; that is about Vextech. The energy that runs through practically all electronics and the energy that powers the core of Solterra. No one seems to have any answers as to where the green crystal-like rock came from, all that is known is before Solterra had been created, astronauts had ended up coming across a meteorite that had the material within it and found that it electronics of all sorts was highly reactive to it. Through years of studying and testing, eventually the crystal was spread throughout Terra as a new and more efficient power source. Incapable of understanding it fully though, after an extensive period of time and soon Terra had been using the crystal in pretty much all their devices, people all throughout the globe, human and alien alike had began to obtain powers, everyone had been different in some way or another. It took a further intensive number of years to go by for scientists to figure and learn that these powers that people had gained was due to the crystals and a strange energy that gave off that gave people their abilities.
When the power of the crystals was understood more, scientists were able to refine the crystal in which they had named it Velorium. Using it as the core of the station and even creating large relays that allows for FTL travel for merchant/military/traveler ships to pass through to reach other distant galaxies within a matter of minutes, to hours or even days compared to lightyears.

The final lesson to be taught is about the unknown fungus disease known as Azurith, while its true name is unknown amongst humans and practically all other alien races, it has been dubbed such a name and known throughout the Universe as such. The fungus disease spreads like wildfire when even a single spore of it lands on any solid object whether organic or not. There is currently no known cure for the disease but it is known that the fungus itself appears to be sentient to a degree, as when it attaching itself to an organic being, it will feed off the lifeforce of the individual before taking control of the physical body and eventually slowly beginning to take full control of the person's mental state as well. While fire and extreme levels of cold have been known to work against the spores, the multiple attempts to fight back against it have lead to catastrophic events due to the fungus retaliating back in extreme measures that no matter what level of fire or ice, it will overwhelm the machine or individual source. This information is taught because there is a large specific section of Solterra that has become consumed in the fungus and luckily the spread has been halted by sealing off the entire section of the station by cutting off all life support, and opening all the possible windows in that section of the station causing the vacuum and sheer cold of space to fill that entire part of the station. That area of the station is restricted from access to all individuals aside from members of the Crimson Void Legion or given permission by the council.
It is rumored that the hidden truth as to why Terra had become inhabitable is because of Azurith had fallen onto the planet and spread all across its surface only to have the population evacuate to Solterra before the populace had been able to see it.
After the lessons are taught, students are trained to understand and control their abilities, due to each individual being unique with their own power, the amount of time that it normally takes a single person to graduate from the academy differs with each person.

This is where our story begins, while not exactly well known throughout the galaxy, a band of bounty hunters have been traveling together for quite some time. Their recruiter or otherwise Captain of their ship is an elderly human man who apparently remembers the time when he had still lived on Terra even though it had been hundreds of years since humanity came to the station now known as Solterra. Strangely enough, it is believed that somehow the man had some sort of ability that granted him an eternal life to not be able to die from age but still able to be killed in other manner of ways. Each person he had taken on board his ship, he informed that he had been in search of a way to find the source of where Azurith had come from and how he could stop it from spreading and even possibly find a cure one day for it.

Just to know ahead of time, although the roles section only shows a few at the moment. That does not mean those are the only available roles. That is just due to the code.

If you would like any specific roles, please just let me know and I shall add them.
