Fantasy Supernatural Strangers

"Alright well I won't make you wait any longer, I'll have the Shadowhunters guarding the door bring you food and blood later today. I'm going to go fill out the paper work for getting the silent brothers here from the city of bones. Hopefully we'll be able to get this trial set for as early as possible tomorrow so we can get you out of here. I'm going to be at the institute all night though so if you need anything or if that pencil skirted bitch decides to try something during the night when she thinks that I won't be here to stop her. We'll send her back to the clave before you know it." She was sure that they'd get Roje out here soon, and sooner the better because the vampire seemed to be becoming quite irritated with being captured here. Not that Alex could blame her considering she was tied to a chair. Shed have to make sure the hunters brought her a pillow and a blanket for the night as well. Or did she still sleep during the day like other vampires?

Alex raise an eyebrow when the course commented about giving her brother Dean a love bite. She couldn't help but giggle at the thought. Although she and her brother seemed to be driving eachother crazy, it didn't seem like they actually disliked eachother. In fact, the vampire atleast seemed to be rather found of her werewolf brother. Which was, quite odd really. Maybe it was one of those love hate relationships, who knows. Even so, Alex would have to tell him that a vampire bite would kill him. "Yea I wouldn't suggest a bite unless you wanna put him in the hospital. Or in the ground. But he does have a strong appetite for Chinese food, that seems like it would be proper payments, atleast by his standards." She laughed again. "Give my brother food and he'll be happy." And with that Alex stood up and set off to finish the paperwork for the trial

"Eh, my bite isnt venomus like you would think. Trust me. If anything, a werewolf bite is fatal to vampires. Get a super high feaver, sweat like you went jogging for a couple of miles, slowly dying and looking like a zombie... Not a pretty sight. I did my research." Roje informed her and then added "But I'll keep in mind about Chinese food, actually, any food for that matter." to become friends with a wolf, just give them food. Just the thought made Roje laugh softly "Enough about your brother, go on ahead and do what you need to do. The earlier you get things done, the better." and the faster she can get out of the painful rivane ropes. "I wish you luck and have fun. Dont get into any trouble now." she teased before leaning forward with her head resting in her hands which her elbows were resting on her knees "Bring me icecream if you have any, Alex. I need something sugary like that." The vampire smiled softly and closed her eyes, relaxing and doing her absolute best to ignore anything and everything. A little sleep is what she needed after an eventful night and an eventful morning.

(I just learned that rivane was pronounced vervain XD)

Despite sleeping and enjoying what she was dreamng about, she was abruptly disturbed with a splash of rivane on her face which made her wake up and scream in pain. Holy hell that hurt! So damn much! When roje opened her eyes, she gritted her teeth and seen the pencil skirted woman once again and when Roje went to attack, the stinging on her wrists had indicated that she had been tied up once again "You little bitch!" snapped the vampire as she struggled in her chair but stopped because of the pain "You thought you were slick tieing me up with rope drenched in rivane! Wait till Alex gets here!" then the woman laughed and moved from Roje's view to reveal the knocked out guards at the door which were to enter the room before entering the cube. This little bitch would do anything to get what Roje bore in her mind "I see, you went ahead and knocked out those Guards. Oh I cant wait for Alex to check up on me." her eyes shifted to the woman who only grinned and told her that Roje can spill the beans, or she can do it the hard way "Do your worst, bitchie." her eyes narrowed before she was suddenly grabbed by the head and she seen the woman walk over with a glass filled with the rivane. Knowing exactly what she was planning on doing. Her head was forced to tilt back and she tightened her jaw, refusing to let her get the rivane in her system. It was gonna hurt like hell.

The woman laughed "Look at this wonderful sight. For someone who got so cocky, she refuses to let the worst happen." The woman grasped Roje's jaw and pressed where it was almost impossible to keep it closed and then poured the rivane into her mouth, where Roje choked on the rivane and spit out what she could, screaming in pain and what the woman could assume was probably feeling her insides burn. "You did say to do my worst, Miss Roje. And I'm obviously doing my worst. Do you feel your insides Burning? Your pores pushing out sweat..? Feels like you're on fire." The person who had been with her, released Roje's head and roje leaned forward, coughing and closing her eyes tightly. "You asked for it. Now I wonder how long I can go without being disturbed by that little brat, Alex. Now that Rivane is in your system, you wont be able to do much to me." she cut Roje's ties and then got some more rivane, hitting her where her skin was exposed. Causing more pain to the vamipire as she crumpled to the ground. "Cat got your tongue?" asked the woman "Kate is the name. Since I never introduced myself." she took her foot and pushed Roje onto her side as the vampire curled up, hissing at the pain and watching as her skin was getting glossy from sweat "That really does hurt, doesnt it...?" she tilted her head and watched as Roje just laid weak on the floor "Ah, that's right. When its injested, your throat burns, you become entirely weak... Well now I know you really wont hurt me now. So," she crouched down and grabbed her hair, lifting her up a little bit "Why dont you tell me what you know?"

Roje was in so much pain but she refused to spill. The floor was cold and her hair had been yanked to look up at the person named Kate, who asked her to tell her what the vampire knew. Roje opened her mouth slowly and spoke "Go...To hell..." she said weakly before her head was dropped on the ground and was kicked another time and this time, with full force which made her cry out. The woman seemed to be done for now -despite wanting to do more to her- and headed out, leaving Roje on the ground, weak, tired, and in pain. With Rivane, her healing was slow but it was getting there. "D-Damn it..." she muttered, coughing, followed by wince as she rolled onto her back and closed her eyes never will I fall. No matter what. and that's when she knocked out.

(just thought a little more drama after over 6+ hours have passed :P Im not sure what chris would be doing rn tho)

Alex woke up with a start, cold sweat dripping off her body and her right arm burning so badly she was seeing stars. One of her runes had been activated while she was sleeping, the one that was connected to the barrier surrounding Roje's room. "Shit, I better get down there." It could only be one person, the pencil skirted bitch that was on a mission to torture Roje. Not bothering to throw on actual clothes, Alex raced down in her PJ shorts and a baggy t-shirt, her hair a complete wavy mess. Her right arm was continuing to burn as she ran, causing her to have to slow her pace. It wasnt normal for a rune to hurt so much like this. In fact, Alex had built up a strong tolerance to the pain over the years. So why was it burning to badly now? It didn't make sense.

When Alex finally reached Rojes interrogation room, which had been three floors down and all the way across the institute, she found the guards that she had stationed slumped over on he floor. Their skin was pale and there was a slight greenish tint to their veins. Had she poisoned them with demon vemon?! Surely the woman couldn't be that daft, treachery was the highest offense a shadowhunter could make. Killing another shadowhunter, well it was punishable by death. However, the two men stirred, they were alive. For now. Alex quickly waved her stele over their respective healing runes (Stele's activate the runes) and pushed the door open. What Alex saw inside he room was nothing less of horrifying. Roje had blood coming from her mouth and her head was rolled back unconscious. There was rivane all over the floor and what looked like splatters of blood on the table. What had this woman done to her?! "Get away from the vampire. You're under arrest. Come quietly if you don't want any trouble." But of course, Alex knew that of course the woman would want trouble. That much was obvious when she broke into the room. Alex's arm still burning, she reached for a strap around her thigh, containing her seraph blade. She had learned the hard way never to go anywhere without one, even to bed. The brunette pulled it out and the blade activated at her touch. Her angel blood calling the blade, creating a sword of pure light. "I'm not going to ask you again. Step away from the vampire and surrender. You're not going to get out of this room alive if you try to escape." Surely all the noise had now alerted the rest of the institute and Alex was sure someone would be down to care for the two men outside, so right now all she had to worry about was the woman in front of her. "I don't know what you think you're doing, but you just completely shot yourself in the foot. The silent brothers will be here tomorrow and believe me they'll want to here about this. They'll send you to the city of bones for your crimes. If they don't execute you first."

The woman raised her eyebrow as she stopped in her footsteps right outside of the cube's door. "Ah, It seems you've caught me. You know, I wouldnt have thought that you would be down here as quick as you were." she then glanced over her shoulder and towards Roje "She's taking a bit of a nap right now. I'm sure she'll be fine. Unless she gets rivane poisoning." Roje had still been laying on the floor "She said to do my worst, Which I did. But sadly she didnt talk like I thought she would, seeing as I poured rivane down her throat." Kate looked right back at Alex and rolled her eyes, lifting her hands as if she had a gun pointed at her "The silent brothers.... I havent seen those guys in a very long time. It'd be good to see them again. Well, so be it, let them send me to the City of Bones. Let them Execute me. I have no problem with that. Besides, my work was sloppy as of late. I was bound to be captured anyways." she shrugged and walked over to her "Go ahead, lead me to my 'cell' seeing as you wont stop pointing that damn blade at me." she then moved her hands behind her head and waited for fearther instructions. "I very well look forward to the brothers, tomorrow. I wouldnt mind telling them what I had been doing. Hell, if they give me that truth blade, I may be able to peak their interest on having the vampire be asked what she's hiding." Kate was an evil one, and clearly she wasnt going to back down till she was either locked up and away from everyone, or executed. "Might want to take care of the vampire though, not sure if she's going to heal up with rivane in her system." oh just make it more stressful for the young shadowhunter. If Roje died, Kate would lose the information that she needed and she would be back to square one. Which was something the woman did not want.

Where as Roje woke up suddenly and screamed in pain, weakly trying to get to her hands and knees where she coughed up more rivane but mostly blood. Blood, she needed blood. Fresh blood. In a bag or not..she needed it. It would help her, no? She looked towards the glass front of the cube and seen the woman with Alex. Alex was prepared for a fight but Roje.... She was prepared to kill this bitch. In a Raspy voice, she called out to Alex "Alex...!" she coughed "Bring her...to me.." she said, pushing herself off the floor and grasping onto the metal chair, pushing herself up and throwing herself against the padded white wall just so she had support "I'll...Kill her and get...her off your hands..." the wall was little support as she slid down to her knees, leaning up against the wall with her side "I'll...testify when...those brothers come..."

She poured the rivane down the vampire's throat?! What kind of horrible monster did that. Rojes organ were probably tearing themselves apart as they spoke. She had to get her to safety and get a warlock here to heal her as soon as she could. Roje might not survive otherwise. "You're going to pay for this." She growled at the other shadowhunter as she continued to point her seraph blade at the woman's throat. "But believe me they'll be happy to see you. I doubt that you'll even get a trial. They'll de-rune you and lock you up in their dungeons for a very long time. Don't you worry. They don't take too kindly to treachery. You as a hunter should know that. And besides, the silent brothers aren't interested in the affairs of downworlders. You trying to get information from them about Roje, well it's not going to happen because it's not shadowhunter business. Do we get involved in who leads the wolf packs or fights between vampire clans? Of course not! We uphold the law. Nothing else. You would think a shadowhunter would know that but obviously you don't care."

Alex pointed from the woman to the corner with her blade. "Move. Now." As the woman slowly backed up and away from Alex and Roje, the vampire woke up with a start. How could she possibly be conscious? Between the blood loss and the damage from the rivane, she should be passed out still. Suddenly the vampire was asking to kill the woman and as much as she wanted to kill her... It wasn't right. She should face her crimes just like anyone else, just like she tried to do to Roje. "Roje... I can't let you kill her..." Just as she began to deny her friend, a rush of Shadowhunters came through the door. "Thank God. Take her to the city of bones. She has committed treason and will be sentenced to death. The silent brothers will not be needing a trial." A group of hunters escorted the woman out while other hunters tended to the poisoned ones outside, while Alex ran over to Roje, sheathing her sword in the process. "Here. I'm sorry I could let you kill her because it would be against the law. But it's not against the law to drink from a willing victim." Alex moved her hair from her neck.

The fact that Alex rejected her the chance to kill the woman almost made her protest but the cough that forced itself out had stopped her from doing so. Blood escaped her mouth and landed on the floor as well as on her hand when she had tried to cover her mouth before the cough. The vampire closed her eyes, hearing scuffles, voices, and quick-paced footsteps. Before she knew it, Roje heard Alex's voice which made her smile softly "I would have taken the punishment, well worth it for killing the bitch... " she teased, letting out a light laugh and then coughing again. Hearing that it wasnt against the law to drink from a willing victim, her eyes opened and looked up at Alex who moved her hair from her neck and exposed that soft looking skin and allowed Roje to pick up the sound of that running blood in her veins "You know I told your brother...I wouldnt hurt you...Better make sure he doesnt find out..." she turned her head away and coughed, her insides screaming for blood, to be replenished and healed. "Feels like someone...Poured the strongest drink in the world in my body... it stings so much..." Roje then turned her head back and looked at Alex "I owe you one...big time..." the vampire forced herself to sit up some more and lean into Alex's neck, opening her mouth and then biting down, allowing her fangs to sink into that soft skin and feeling the blood rush into her mouth and her insides slowly losing the pain that haunted her.

Roje soon finished and unlatched from Alex, resting her head back against the white wall and wiping her lips "Thank you, Really." her blood no longer boiled, her insides no longer burned, she felt pretty much normal, aside from the fresh blood pushing out the poison that made her weak in the first time "You know what we need...? A spa day." she joked, laughing. And this time, it wasnt a painful laugh before taking her wrist and biting into it "Here, take my blood, it'll heal that wound pretty quickly." she held it out to Alex. As much as Alex was part of those who hunted supernatural creatures, Roje couldnt hate her. She was so nice and wanted to do things the right way by justice. How things were usually handled in the human world. "Hey, you should pull some strings for me. Get me into an actual room instead of this...cube that's in the middle of a room. If the brothers are coming tomorrow with his magical truth sword, there's no reason for me to run. Heck, if you want, I could be a secret agent vampire and help you get the bad supernatural creatures. Punish them for their crimes. I can be your deputy." the smile hadnt left Roje's face. It was like she didnt let anything get her down, especially after that rivane incident moments ago.

The brunettes head spun as she felt the blood being sucked from her body. She had to prop herself up on one arm to keep from collapsing. It was obvious that the vampire had needed blood but she was taking alot. But getting her blood sucked out of her neck didn't hurt like Alex thought it was going to, it was an odd sensation really. It made her whole body go cold, and she felt like she was floating. Her whole body felt like she had pins and needles running up and down it and the room was spinning a mile a minute. Or maybe these sensations were just the lack of oxygen reaching her brain. Either way Alex hoped to never have to feel the sensation again, it felt like she wasn't in control of herself. But, it had been the best option at the time so Alex took it. After all she couldn't have risked Roje killing the woman, the Shadowhunters then would've killed her. It would've reflected badly on Alex if she had let a downworlder kill a fellow hunter, as shitty as the woman was, there weren't that many hunters in the world left. Plus if the vampire had died, then all her hard work would've been for nothing. She would've disobeyed clave orders for no reason, used a favor that the silent brothers owed her just to have them come for nothing, and the woman would look like she was right all along. That didn't sit right with her.

After Roje finally removed her fangs from her neck, and the room no longer looked like a spinning top, Alex let out a large sigh to steady her breathing. "That sure takes a lot out of you doesn't it?" She giggled, which was very unlike the shadowhunter, but she was still pretty light headed. "Don't worry I won't tell my brother if you won't. It's kind of frowned upon to be a willing vampire victim anyhow. We probably shouldn't tell Chris either, I don't know how he'd react to the fact that you've technically been more intimate with me than he has." The girl laughed again but quickly had to steady herself. Alex shook her head at the offer of the vampires blood however. "If I can find where my stele drifted off to, I can just use my healing rune." She pointed to one of her elaborate tattoos on her inner left arm. Alex looked around for it but turned her head too quickly and the room once again began to dance. "Oh god. How long is it going to be like this...?" Alex was beginning to feel a little bit motion sick. "But yea after this whole ordeal I could get you a room. There should be a whole floor for guests, or if you prefer theres an extra bedroom in my suite upstairs. That might make the others feel more secure knowing someone will be watching you as well..." The hunter smiled, she liked Roje and she liked the idea of having a partner in crime, now that her brother was gone, the institute had become quite cold. A new friendly face might be nice to have around.

Roje laughed at Alex's remark about being more intimate with her than Chris had been and was surprised that Alex refused the blood that she offered. Of course, the vampire shrugged and her wound healed right back up. "Alright, suit yourself." and with that, she noticed Alex losing her balance a little bit and she sighed with a shake of her head "I think being in your Suite is a better idea if it eases everyone. Also, by the way, that dizziness will last a while until you heal yourself with your tattoo things or take my blood. Or until your blood multiplies back up to its normal count again. Which would take a few hours." informed Roje. Now that she had almost been up to strength, she stood up and looked down at her clothes which were stained with rivane and blood "Damn..my clothes are ruined." she muttered before helping Alex up. Despite all that she's gone through, Alex was always there to do the right thing. It's why she wanted her to go and date Chris, he seen how sweet she could be and how beautiful she was. Alex needed someone like Chris. Someone down to earth and sweet to his own core in his own way. "I hope the hunters dont think i'm kidnapping you." she joked, holding her friend and bringing her to the door which had been wide open and stepped out "Boy does it feel good to step outside of that cube." her eyes shifted to multiple hunters within the room "Oh stop fucking staring and help Alex here. She's light headed from the lack of blood." she carefully handed her to another hunter.

"If it's alright with all of you hunters, can I stay out of that cube? And get a decent shower around here? I really dont plan to sit in bloodied and stained clothes. Even though my pants and jacket are black. So are my boots." Roje was just being Roje. Sarcastic and a smartass during situations such as these. "Please?" now most vampires wouldnt ask and would just go on a rampage to kill everyone and get the hell outta here. She turned her attention to Alex and gave her pleading eyes to help convince the rest of the hunters that she really wasnt bad and was just trying to protect herself... She placed her hands on her hips and leaned on one foot more than the other, waiting to hear any reply from the people in the room. Bitchie was gone so she couldnt say anything to her...nor give her a nice punch in the face. "If you really think im a threat then you clearly dont know what a threat is..." unless they pissed her off, which was something not many people should do. Chris knew of her temper and how one thing can spark the one flame that made her snap.

(Sorry, little short)

Normally Alex would've protested the help up, she was normally too stubborn to show weakness especially around the institute and other hunters, but right now she was a bit too light headed and tired to care. After being half carried out by Roje and then being fully carried by another hunter though, she was starting to get a little restless and less willing to accept the help. "I can walk you know! I have two perfectly working legs! Legs that are in very nice shape that I like to use thank you!" It was obvious that Alex was pretty out of it considering she was normally perfectly composed while in the institute. However the faces of the hunters that they had stumbled upon were priceless. Alex tried to toggle out of the man's arms but was too weak from the lack of blood to do so, which made her pout. "I wanna get down..." The shadowhunter that was not carrying the resisting hunter raised an eyebrow at Roje but then shrugged and nodded, showing them both up the stairs. It was obvious the hunters weren't going to let their boss fall down the stairs trying to attempt them on her own.

When they all reached Alex's room, the two hunters let Alex down and quickly made their leave, knowing perfectly well that they were not allowed in her room, one because she was a girl and it was inappropriate, and two because she was their boss. Alex however didn't seem to care. "Bye thank you guys. You guys are the best!" She smiled and laughed a little before opening the door. "Now where is my stele???" Alex disappeared into her room to search for the small stone, pen like object. Alex's room was quite large, containing a common room which had an old fashion sitting area, which a bathroom off to the right. Connected to the common room were two sets of dark wood double doors, one of which Alex had walked through and the other which was closed, leading to the spare bedroom. "You're welcome to use the bathroom to shower!" The half drunk hunter shouted from the other room. "I have clothes for you too if you want them! There should be plenty of towels in there!" Alex was searching her room, crawling on the floor before finally finding her stele under the bed and activating her healing room. "Thank God." She said to herself as she felt her head beginning to go back to normal, though it may take about an hour before she was completely back to normal.

(Silly Alex is fun :) )

Roje was actually surprised that the hunters let her go with Alex up to her room. That was something that she clearly didnt expect and casually followed those who lead them to Alex's sleeping quarters. Or to which she called a Suite. They had finally gotten to the door and Roje's hands were in her pockets while listening to the loopy Alex yell at the boys who brought her to her suite as they walked away and she headed into her room. The vampire followed along and looked around, quite surprised that this actually was a Suite. Not able to help her curiosity, she walked around, looking almost behind every door and found the spare room. The bed nicely made and the atmosphere feeling a lot less than what it had in the cube that she had been held prisoner in. "I'll have no problem using your shower. I need it, seriously." Roje called from the bedroom after Alex had said she could use the bathroom. Of course, she wasted no time in heading to the bathroom, ripping off her clothes -not literally- and taking a nice hot shower. Washing dried blood off her skin and rivane. Her eyes would look at her arms and her legs and see no scar and no wound on her body. Everything had healed since she had fresh blood from Alex, which was good in a way but not so good since she had to feed from her newly close friend.

Soon enough, she finished her shower and got out, grabbing the towels that Alex had mentioned and dried up her body and wrapped her hair up in a towel while with the other, she wrapped around her body and walked out "Hey Alex, I think I'll need those clothes now. Also, thanks for letting me use the shower, I feel great." she said with a warm smile "Nice and squeaky clean. Anyway, how are you feeling after my... snack? You seemed pretty damn loopy and boy was it funny." Roje still couldnt help but look around with her eyes, finding the Suite absolutely amazing. Just...it still surprised her and made her feel like she was in a rich person's house. "Damn I cant get over how pretty this place is..." she whispered to herself with a shake of her head. Alex was so lucky to have something like this. Roje, however, had to just make do with what she could. The home that she had was okay, but only enough to keep her housed there, even during winter and things such as that. More or less...she was jealous a little bit that Alex had such fancy things

(BLAH IM SORRY ;-; So short)

While her new friend was in the shower, Alex had swiftly laid out a few choices for the vampire to sleep in. She pulled out a plain black t-shirt and a choice of red and black plaid pajama pants or white pajama shorts. She could pick out clothes she liked for tomorrow, in the morning after they had both gotten some sleep. It had been a very long night for the both of them and tomorrow was definitely not going to be any easier with the silent brothers coming for the trial, if anything tomorrow would prove to be even harder than today had been. The silent brothers had a way of putting everyone, even hunters, on edge. Alex winced as a sharp pain ran through her arm again, one of her runes was still burning for the reaction to the breach in the wards. Which was really quite odd. Wards only reacted that strongly to demons, but the woman was obviously a hunter, otherwise the runes that she had tattooed all over her body would've killed her... After shaking the thought out of her head, after all it was crazy, Alex decided she also needed to change, feeling the dried blood and such on the hem of her shirt. So, she changed into a gray tank top and red pajama shorts. The shadowhunter threw her clothes into a corner to be washed later and then placed her stele back on her bed. Slowly, her head began to stop hurting and she was able to function normally again, which was good, considering she had a date that she needed to be conscious for tomorrow night. The hunter also grabbed a water from a small fridge in the common room while she waited for Roje to come back out of the shower.

When Roje appeared back out of the shower in fluffy white towels, Alex could help but laugh a little. It was definitely a stark contrast to what she looked like when Alex had first found her tonight. "I put a shirt and some bottoms out for you, I don't know if you like to wear shorts or pants to bed so go ahead and pick one. Do you want a water? I have some cold ones out in the common room." The hunter laughed again as she made the snack comment. "well I no longer feel like I'm inside a spinning top, so it's a start I guess. I can definitely still feel it though. I almost feel as if I'm a little buzzed if I'm honest..." The girl blushed and ran her hand through sheepishly. The reaction that her body had t having her blood taken certainly was not what she had been expecting. The hunter had expected it to be like any other wound, hurt like a bitch but possible to struggle through it. She had not been expecting to become completely incapacitated. "Well I'm glad it amused you because you and the other two hunters are a few of a handful of people that have ever seen me vunerable like that. I'm normally very good about keeping cool while I'm on the job." Alex sighed and jumped onto the bed, sitting on the foot of it. "I'm sorry for the extravagance by the way. It's a little overwhelming, but we're not really allowed to change the styles of the rooms here. The institute was built here even before New York city was beginning to be populated. They built around something we call a portal, it can transport you to anywhere in the world you want, even across worlds into the demon realm if you wish. But it takes a lot of training so we don't end up in limbo. We just use warlocks most of the time because their portals are safer and easier to use. But anyway, everything here is completely ancient and came with the institute. Some of the furniture are also ancient artifacts from idris, but don't worry, there aren't any in here. They removed them when I spilled orange soda all over the carpet in the common room. I think tere might still even be a stain." The hunter laughed. "So needless to say I'm not trusted with anything of that importance. Unless they're family heirlooms over course."

@Britt-21

Roje nodded softly as she heard every word leave Alex's mouth "Sure, water sounds nice." it was good to be a vampire that ate and drink human food as well as drink blood... It made life easy to juggle and make sense of it. "Listen, buzzed is the best you're gonna get after your healing thing."  Alex was a pleasure to be with, Roje found her company... comforting and very familiar. When she addressed the room decorations between the different rooms, Roje waved her hand as if it was nothing "Nah, dont worry about it. I'm not overwhelmed. In fact, I'm very jealous that you have all this fancy stuff. Its just...really pretty and makes me want some so I could feel like a Queen. Even though seeing me as a Queen does not fit me very well. About that Soda stain, you'll get it out...eventually. Not sure when though." when Alex came back with the bottle of water, she gently took it from her hands and opened it as well as took a mouth full of water and closed the top, drinking what she had in her mouth "Honestly, I dont see you as a clutzy type. Or Ditzy" said Roje, going into the spare bedroom and changing within seconds and rushing back into Alex's room, where she leaned on the doorframe "I've watched you in the diner -Not to be a stalker- and clearly you know your way around things. That pepper thing? I blame your brother for that one. Oh, by the way, tell him he needs more shampoo, he smells like wet dog." she laughed "The perks of having vampire senses." then Roje moved to the bed and plopped down on the side.

"So, tell me, what is it you like about my best friend Chris?" she moved onto her stomach and looked at her, wanting to hear it all. Damn, it felt like they've been friends for years, sharing secrets and being all girly... When was the last time she actually was like this? "Be honest, is it his muscles? Those big guns that almost every girl falls for? I can tell you that he can legit lift you on your side. Use you as a weight. I'm not kidding. But I do promise he's human. Eats human food, works out, sleeps, watches sports sometimes. And before you ask: No, I wasnt his girlfriend. Ever. We're just really good friends."

Alex laid on her bed listening to Roje talk and then fetching her a water when she asked. When she came back she had also returned with pretzels and she began munching on them as her new friend continued to speak. They should probably be sleeping considering they had the trial tomorrow and Alex had a date, but for right now they were both content with staying up and chatting. They needed some destressing after all that had gone on tonight. It had been pretty chaotic. When Roje made a comment about the orange soda, Alex could only laugh. "I'm not ditzy or clumsy most of the time, the reason the orange soda got spilled was because I accidentally shattered the glass while holding it. Don't worry though all the glass particles are out of the carpet." The soda stain had been a reaction to find out that her brother was missing, which she would later find out that he had been scratched by a wolf. Effectively ending his career as a shadowhunter and turning him into one of Alex's enemies. Although she could never bring herself to think of downworlders as her enemies. Shadowhunters were supposed to hunt demons and uphold the laws, not go out of their way to bully the downworlders as she knew many of her co-workers did. It was wrong, and certainly not the way that she and her brother had been brought up, as was obvious in the way she was sticking her neck out for Roje as soon as she found out she was innocent.

Suddenly, Roje was asking all about Chris and showing a side.of her that... Well Alex didn't think that she had. She was acting like a normal girl, interested in romance and gossip, which Alex had not pegged her for. And although Alex wasn't much for gossip or talking about boys either, it would be nice to be able to be open about it with someone because she knew that her brother was probably not taking the whole date thing well. She wasn't sure that Dean was ever going to approve, but that was a fight for a different day, for right now all Alex had to worry about was getting through her date without completely making a fool of herself due to her lack of experience. She had never been interested in any of the other hunters and anyone that she was interested in, Dean had swiftly shut down saying that they weren't good enough for her. The young Shadowhunters had never really been on an official date, let alone had a boyfriend. Because of this, she was beyond nervous for tomorrow night. Hopefully though, Chris wouldn't notice or ask about it. God how embarrassing would it be to tell him she'd never been on a date at twenty-one years old.

ALex snapped back to reality when she realized the Roje was waiting for a response from her. Oh crap. What had she said? She smiled sheepishly, feeling rather embarrassed that she had let her mind wander like that, she was normally one to give the person she was speaking with full attention. The vampire had mentioned something about sports... And muscles... Was she asking what she found intriguing about Chris? The reason she had said yes to the date in the first place? "Well..." Alex thought for a moment. What was the reason she had said yes to Chris? Surely it wasn't because of his muscles, after every single shadowhunter in the institute could bench almost if not more than twice the girls weight. She was used to being around strong brutes so obviously it wasn't that. She had worked with him for a while and had grown to like him through that. Was it just how well put together he always was? No most Shadowhunters were like that as well. Then what exactly had it been? And suddenly she knew. "It's not about that, I'm constantly around strong, manly men in the institute, I could've had any one of them if I wanted, so no it's not about how big his arms are or about how much he can lift. Although that is quite nice. It was about him actually caring about me and my well being, not just making sure I didn't die on a mission because I was their responsibility. I don't know that might not make much sense to you. But for Shadowhunters, the caring for the well being of another, well it only goes so far for the majority of us. In the long run, we just look out for our own well being and safety. Unless you have a parabatai, it's extremely difficult to be able to put their well being before your own because it's not how we were trained to be." Alex had learned to do that with her brother Dean but only because they had grown up, trained and fought together their entire lives. Family had always been everything to Alex.

@Britt-21

Roje smiled softly, listening to everything escaping Alex's mouth. She really was different than other girls, despite being a hunter and all. "Well, one thing I can tell you is the men here sound like they're brainwashed to care to a certain extent. If anything, they need a big lesson on what caring actually is. Knowing that it's not about the muscles and how much a guy can lift actually makes me think very different of you and that you actually use that head of yours." she teased, grinning in the process "You wont regret dating Chris, I promise you. He may seem a little rough on the edges sometimes but he really is just a mush who knows how to protect those he loves." Alex sounded like she had it rough, brainless guys who were buff, people didnt care up to a certain point, most thought about themselves... Yeah this place didnt sound like paradise, regardless of the beautiful interior designing. That couldnt make up for what happened in the institute itself. Now how many supernatural creatures were here? Were there any here? Or were they moved to somewhere else...like the City of Bones that she kept hearing about? "Just...Dont break his heart. He has his own secrets that he battles almost all the time. It's sad really." the grin that was once on her face, had vanished. It was more of a worried expression now "Poor thing thought I was dead till I contacted him and made him cry happy tears..which was funny."

The vampire shifted onto her back, looking up at the celing after a long moment of pause and changing the sad subject "I can always cause trouble to keep the institute off your ass when you go on your dates with him. Oh, by the way, you're gonna need help picking out something. We can do that tomorrow though, after all trial drama and stuff. Hey, if we have time, I can treat you to a spa...hour? Get massaged by sexy men~" she said in a sing song voice with a laugh "I know being girly doesnt seem like me, but it's been a while since I actually bonded with another girl like this. Plus...bitches gotta have some girly time too." Girly was never her definition while alone. She had been more of the badass woman with the black leather and the cool -slightly curled- hair. Had an attitude, was a smartass, and did what she had to do (most of the time) when she had to do it. Roje then looked at Alex again, who was munching on some pretzles. Did she want any...? Nah. Wasnt really in the mood for food at the moment and quite honestly, she didnt need to sleep. It was a choice weather or not to sleep, and Roje always chose sleep because that's what made her human and passed time much faster.

"Yea, Shadowhunters are odd creatures to say that least, for being part angel were anything but caring. We're all pretty objective oriented and extremely focused on our work. It makes our social skills a bit... Lacking to say the least." That was the complete understatement of the year, other than work the most social interaction Alex normal had was ordering take out. The life of a shadowhunter was very solitary. Most of them were too focused on their work and their duty to the clave. Friends weren't exactly a concept that they were used to. Alex had been lucky to become a waitress because it made her much less closed off and serious, that and her brother Dean had always been a bit rebellious. "I wouldn't intentionally hurt Chris. He's too sweet, I'd never be able to do that.  So don't worry about that." Alex wasn't much for going out of her way to hurt someone. "We all have our battles believe me. Shadowhunters know that better than anyone. Except none of us ever talk about it." The shadowhunter laughed

"You don't have to cause anymore trouble, the last thing I would want is for you to get yourself into trouble again. You're already on their list after all this, even if it wasn't your fault. You get caught again and I'm not sure how much I'll be able to help." She sighed and continued to nibble on her pretzels. "Besides it's not illegal to date a non-shadowhubter. It's just highly frowned upon. They want us to keep our blood pure and free of demon blood. Besides, the more angel blood a shadowhunter has, the strong they are, so the cleaner the bloodline, the better the warrior." Alex had always hated that idea, it was so old fashioned, but it was the way the culture was, specifically in Idris. Idris wasn't going to change anytime soon so there was no use fighting it. "Some help with an outfit and some time at a spa sounds like heaven though. We both definitely deserve it." Alex's muscles were almost always sore from all the training and missions she was constantly going on. As a hunter they were always pushing themselves to their limits, pushing their bodies too hard more often than not. "After tonight I seriously doubt they'll keep you for the trial more than a few minutes, they'll question the woman before they come, considering she's already been taken there. I wouldn't be surprised if they made their decision before they arrive. You should be out of here before noon." It was good that Roje would be able to go home, she deserved it. "I imagine the rest of the hunters will be more at ease with a downworlder out of the institute as well. We normally only let them in under very special circumstances. The downworlders tend to keep to their own territories so it's odd for us to have one walking around the institute. Some of the hunters here have probably never experienced it. Don't worry though, they would never try anything."

"Oh please, as if im gonna eat them or something. They gotta stop getting their panties in a bunch." said Roje, sitting up and turning to look at her "As for keeping the bloodline pure...It makes sense in a way but it's also kind of...restraining. But that's my opinion." she shrugged "Im one of the rare chilled vampires. Unless im threatened and/or attacked. My temper isnt as good as you would think. It's quite...bad to say the least. Not that im saying im gonna go on and go on a killing spree, but rather beat the person up who made me angry or beat a punching bag..which I usually break with my strength so I try to hold back." hell, she was talking a lot. A ton to be exact "Otherwise, the people here have nothing to worry about. I'm not fresh out of the box. I have my experience and know how to control myself."  Even though the topic of bloodlines and dating, she was curious if it was even possible to have a kid as a vampire. Many stories and movies proven that it wasnt even possible, but who was to say that stories were true as well as movies? She had a beating heart but..maybe her body functions didnt function the right way? There had to be a way with supernatural beings around, like warlocks, demons, angels, vampires werewolves... There was a way to have kids, seriously.

Why was she thinking about this now? The vampire had no idea, it was just the thought of hearing "Bloodline" made her instantly think about kids. Even though her temper was bad and she was stubborn and risky... She still was a woman and desired to have a child. Snapping from her thoughts, she turned her attention back to Alex "Anyway, before we keep talking, I'll let you get some sleep. You are human after all." she pushed herself off the bed and walked to the door "Dont ask if I sleep upside down." all the vampire jokes! Roje looked at her with a laugh "I'll be in the guest room if you need me. Awake or Asleep." she then turned away and headed to the gest bedroom where she went to the bed and dropped her body on top of it, letting out an audible sigh "I guess I can sleep in peace now, with no rivane to kill me." Roje thought aloud, looking at what she could see with her eyes and soon was brought back to seeing through the other person's eyes. The person who she had been linked to. He was looking at a sleeping woman, it was morning time which told Roje one thing: He was on the other side of the world. His hand had been caressing her cheek before she had been shoved back to her own body where she sat up and looked around. Same place, and same night time. "Well, I guess I know where he is." just not an exact location. Roje then layed back on the bed and closed her eyes, trying to fall asleep

Alex's alarm came to life with the obnoxious beeping noise she woke up to every single morning. The noise had seemed like a good choice at the time, but now it just made her want to throw the damn clock across the room or smash it. Atleast it was a sure way of her getting up on time... Groggily, the shadowhunter half fell out of bed as she reached to shut the damn thing up and she began to stir in the mass of pillows and blankets. It was a little before dawn, and although Alex knew she had to teach some weapons training basics to a few new Shadowhunters from Idris this morning, the last thing she wanted to do was get out of her bed. Why were beds always the comfiest in the morning when she had to get up and work? Why couldn't she just spring out of bed in the morning completely rested? "Ugh..." The shadowhunter groaned as she tumbled out of bed, and made her way to the bathroom to shower. When Alex reached the bathroom, she looked in the mirror. Currently, she looked more like a mass of tangled hair and messy clothes than a person, so she began working to make herself look presentable.

She quickly showered, brushed her teeth and got dressed, a simple black tank top, black skinny jeans and combat boots that laced up to her knees for now, there would be time to be girly later. Alex quickly applied minimal make up, just some winged eyeliner and darker lipstick for now, again she'd just have to take it off to get ready for her date later, and Alex made a mental note to leave a note in the common room for Roje. That way she wasn't wondering where she was when she woke up. After she had finished, Alex made her way downstairs to the training room and began her morning routine, just as she always did, ignoring the nervousness in her stomach about her date and the trial that would be going on in just a few short hours. Surely everything would be fine. After all, how bad could things really go right? It wasn't like Alex could act any worse than she did at work and it wasn't like she was going out and slaying demons. There was nothing dangerous about it, so why did it scare her more than the idea of going hunting...? And the trial had to go smoothly. The silent brother could not deny what had happened here, how badly Roje had been treated here. Everything was going to work itself out, she hoped...

Roje, however, was sleeping but yet keeping her ears out for anything out of the ordinary. The sound of an alarmclock had filled her ears and soon a thump which she assumed was Alex getting up or falling. Either way, she picked up Alex walking around and soon heard a door shut. Well, her buddy was now gone and she was on her own in the cozy suite. With a small grumble, she opened her eyes, squinting them a little as the sun peeked in. As much as she was a vampire who had no Sun problems, the sudden brightness in the morning still bothered her as the next human person. "I gotta go and call Chris, tell him I'm alive and am not dead... Uuugghhh So much work." the vampire continued to lay in the bed, however. Turning away from the window and just looking at what she could while thinking. Today was the Trial. The day to get her freedom back and do what she wanted... And go to work. A bouncer position would be the perfect set for her. Though she was sure the man would laugh if he found out a girl with her frame would want to actually be a bouncer. The thought made her laugh because of the expression on the boss's face. "Eh let me get out of bed." pushing herself up, she moved to the end of the bed and stretched, using her speed to go through the whole suite and find a phone which she used to call Chris. Despite being morning, she gave no craps on waking him up.

As soon as he picked up, she grinned "Morning princess, Rise and shine!" said Roje, walking around the place, finding the note that Alex left and read it quickly. The sound of his voice was breaky, but also happy. He asked if she was okay and if she was safe "Yes, I'm fine. Had a rough situation but that was taken care of. I also made a new friend with someone here. She's pretty cool and trusts me to actually stay in her apartment thing. Im gonna be going through trial to clear my backround or whatever. Once that's done, I'll be able to head out and help Alex with her date tonight." she could tell just by the change of tone that he was actually blushing and telling her not to do her makeup "Hey! I know how to put on makeup! Just not on other people... If she needs help, i'll try to help her, but I'm sure she knows how to apply makeup. Anyway, go do what you have to do, be at ease and get ready for tonight. Take a shower, look handsome. Okay? Bye~" she said in a singsong voice and hung up. Going to the bathroom and getting her clothes gathered. Even though there was stains on them, she shrugged and put them on, aside from her leather jacket and cleaned the outside of the black jacket and dried it up before putting it on and walking out to track down Alex.

With a happy sigh, Chris hung up the phone with Roje and got up and out of the loveseat "She's alive, Dean." Chris said, moving to the kitchen and preparing things for breakfast. He'll take a shower later and what not. He pulled out bacon, eggs, sausage and some whaffles. For some reason, he always loved to make full hearty meals like this and couldnt get enough. He put eggs in a pan, as well as bacon and began to cook them all. Chris went on his cooking routine and spoke from the kitchen "Dean, c'mon, wake up! Breakfast is gonna be done soon." and later he'd have to get dressed for the date tonight. He'd have to dress nice, look casual but not too fancy since they were going for a movie then dinner... Oh man his plate was full today "Roje said she had to do some Trial today and said she was fine. Apparently she made a new friend who has some sort of apartment and is keeping her in there... At least the hospitality is good for a vampire like Roje...I'm surprised really." he would have thought the institute was WORSE than what Roje made it sound like.

Dean opened his eyes and stretched, having passed out in one of Chris's chairs last night, waiting for any information about Roje and his sister. Suddenly Chris was all happy and cheery so it must've meant good news. After having Chris catch him up to speed, the wolf ran his hand through his hair and slowly got himself up. So Alex and the vampire had actually managed to become friends huh? Dean chuckled at the thought. Considering his sister had just been trying to kill Roje a few days ago, wanting to stop at nothing to find her, it was a big change. And the crazy shadowhunter really had her staying in her own room? Well that was quite interesting. Alex's room tended to be extremely private to her, she let no one from the institute in there. Not that they were supposed to be anyway considering Alex was most of their bosses. Dean was pretty sure he was the only other person that had ever stepped inside, but she was his sister so that wasn't very surprising. It was good that the two were getting along well, Alex needed a friend more than she cared to admit, so having the vampire around, while it may have been mandatory, was probably a welcomed change for her. Hopefully, they'd continue to be friends so that way Alex wasn't constantly focused on the institute and her duty to the clave. She really needed to take a step back once and a while and someone needed to teach her how to do that.

Dean made his way into the kitchen where Chris seemed to be cooking up all sorts of different types of food for breakfast. The wolf's stomach growled at the sight of everything. It had been forever since he had had a home cooked meal, Dean couldn't even make Mac and cheese by himself and his sister, while she could handle the basics, wasn't much better. Having actual food was definitely a nice change of pace. Even still though, Chris was definitely going a bit overboard, even for two starving males. "Have enough food there Chris? Seems like you're cooking for an army not just the two of us." He couldn't help but laughed heartily as he sat down at the table. "Don't go too overboard, remember you have a date tonight. You're gonna wanna look good. Also, be prepared because my sister eats almost as much as I do." In truth, Alex could easily keep up with him in a battle that involved food, he had seen the tiny girl eat an entire pizza by herself. "I'm assuming my friend is probably taking care of her, believe me it is not normal for a vampire to be up in the quarters of a hunter. But, it seems they made a special case for your friend." Dean leaned back in his chair and yawned. "I wouldn't worry too much about the trial though. The hunters should have to whole thing taken care of and with the silent brothers there, there will definitely be no bullshit going on during it. They'll treat her fairly. After all, she can't say anything other than the truth. As long as she isn't secretly cohorting against all humanity, she should be fine." Dean knew this wasn't the case, that she had only been caught up in the whole situation by accident, but Chris was probably still pretty nervous about the whole fiasco, not knowing much about their world and how they handled things.

@Britt-21

Chris chuckled at the joke "Sorry, I have a passion for cooking meals like this. Just enough to fill you up. Or accidently over stuff." he explained "Anyway, I dont care how much Alex eats, as long as she's content, I have nothing to complain about. I rather have her stuffed, than understuffed." he liked it when a girl actually ate. "BUt, now that I know Roje is safe and -obviously- sound, I can relax and do what I need to do before mine and your sister's date tonight. Listen, Dean, thank you for not ripping my head off about the whole dating thing." once most of the food was ready, he began to set his friend a plate of food. Giving him a little more than what Chris would eat and putting it on the table where he sat, along with a fork and knife. Then Chris went and got his own plate, as well as the maple syrup and brought it to the table, again, forgetting another key thing: Glasses and orange juices. This was quickly handled and he sat at the table with Dean, beginning to eat with is buddy and just thinking about Alex. Was she excited to go on this date with him just as he was? It was like getting a gift on christmas, you just couldnt wait to open it! "By the way, I hope you enjoy breakfast, I just hope that you have enough to eat since we both know how big your stomach is." he laughed and grabbed a piece of bacon, munching on it.

It was nice to have some bonding time with the brother of his date. Sure, he knew him for a long time already but now it was getting to the personal things such as knowing that he was a Werewolf. That was one of the biggest secrets that Chris had found out. Not to mention the whole thing with the insitute and the Silent brothers... Things were just up in the air and hopefully tonight he could put that all aside and worry for Alex only and bring her home safely after their date. Maybe give her a soft kiss...wether on the lips or the cheek. He didnt care. He just wanted to take things at a normal pace and do what he could to be the best boyfriend.

(mine is short ;-; )

After he spent the next few minutes patiently waiting for breakfast, when Chris placed down the fully stacked plate, Dean quickly began to chow down. He definitely had not realized how hungry he actually was, yesterday had been too chaotic to think about food. Been Roje getting captured with Dean being there and Alex's cover nearly getting blown. Not to mention the argument in the diner. This was causing Dean to practically shovel the food into his mouth. The food was delicious, but Dean was eating too fast to really notice it. After finally beginning to eat normally, he began to talk. "Chris dude, can I have you cook all the time? This is seriously so good. I'm gonna hire you as my personal chef!" He laughed and then proceeded to chug half a glass of orange juice. "But no I'm not going to kill you over going on a date my sister. For one, it's just one date. And for two, she's an adult and can make her own decisions." As much as it might be bad for Alex as a shadowhunter and she might get shunned for it. If it was what she wanted it was what she wanted. That didn't mean that Dean wouldn't kill Chris if he ever hurt his sister though. But of course that was just him being the big scary older brother that he was. "You better treat her right though Chris. I don't want to hear you took advantage of her. Because I will hunt you down if you do." Dean chuckled and went back to eating his food.

After finishing his first plate, the werewolf went back for a bit more of food. He grabbed more orange juice and more waffles happily and sat back down, quietly going back to eating. When Dean had finally eaten his fill, he leaned back in his chair and sighed happily. "I seriously might start coming here for breakfast rather than the diner." He chuckled. "Don't worry I'm only kidding, I'd never leave my booth in the diner. Breakfast there has become a tradition for me, plus it's a good way for me to see my sister. She's been so busy as of late, I hardly get to see her." Of course that was only half the story, but Chris didn't need to know that. "Being a wereolf can make things a bit complicated. Do me a favor and don't get turned into a downworlder alright? I don't want to have to run around worrying about you too."

@Britt-21

Chris chuckled and shook his head, never would he think of hurting Alex in any shape or form. Even if he had, he'd try to do anything to fix it. Things were light between the two buddies and Chris rather liked it that way. No one was angry, no one held a grudge... It was almost peaceful. "Listen, feel free to come over for any time of day. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Hell, maybe all of them if you wanted. If I was around." he shrugged and took his fork, digging into his eggs and bringing them to his mouth. He ate them and then spoke again "I dont plan to be turned into a "Downworlder" unless Roje wants me to live forever for whatever reason and turn me. Which I highly doubt she would unless someone had come and compelled her. Of course, they'd have to be super high in age and skill to even compell a vampire like her." he continued to eat, still thinking about Dean telling him not to get turned into a downworlder "Besides, I would much rather be human, grow old and die. Being alive for longer than about 100 years of age...I think I'd get bored of being on earth." he admitted. Finishing off his food and putting his fork and knife into the pretty much empty plate. "I'm glad you enjoyed my breakfast though, Dean. Like I said before, feel free to come over for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I dont mind." he rose up and gathered his things, downing his juice and then heading to the sink where he put the dishes in.

"Just dont inhale my refridgerator. I'll need that." he joked, looking back at him with a chuckle and paying attention to the dishes which he began to wash. Roje was okay, Dean accepted Chris actually dating Alex... things were fine. Things were normal. Or almost normal. Roje still had to go through that trial thing before being released "Hey, Dean?" asked Chris as he looked over at him "Do you think you're able to attend Roje's trial? Or is it for special people only? Because I was going to ask you to go and make sure Roje really is okay. She's like a sister to me and sometimes she likes to lie to keep me from worrying." A sister that likes to be a little troublemaker.

(Why are males difficult for me to write? XD )

"I might just take you up on that's because this food is seriously great." Dean got up and placed his dishes in the sink before going back to the table. He flipped a chair around so he could lean forward on its back and listened to Chris's request. "I might be able to pull some strings to get in. I'd have to call to see how the institute is security wise. If they're worried about something they probably won't take the risk of having me there in case something goes wrong." Dean was thinking of the woman Alex had mentioned trying to go after Roje again, but what he didn't know was that the woman had already been taken care of. "If they have everything under control though I shouldn't have a problem getting in and watching the trial, so if you want I'll call and see. I wouldn't worry too much though. Roje is in very good hands. Believe me I wouldn't trust just anyone with a task like this. Especially considering the silent brothers are involved. But if it makes you more comfortable I'll send what I can do." He would trust his sister with just about anything, he trusted her judgement and her leadership which is why he had no trouble relinquishing the situation to her, but of course Chris didn't know that it was Alex that was keeping Roje safe. "I'll call her." He mentally kicked himself for revealing it was a female as soon as the words left his mouth. The wolf quickly got up and fled to the living room to call his sister.

Finding a comfortable spot in one of Chris's chairs, he called her. After more than a few rings she finally picked up the phone. God Alex always took forever to pick up her cell phone. Then again Dean was probably interrupting a training session. Oh well. "Hello? Yea it's me. How'd last night go? She what??? Oh okay. That makes sense, it explains why you let her up in your room. Not very like you."it sounded like they had had a very interesting night, more eventful than any of them thought it would be. It was a good thing that Alex had thought to put up protection wards around Rojes room, if she hadn't who knew what would've happened to Roje or even to his sister. This woman sounded a bit crazy, but luckily everything worked out. The man chuckled and ran a hand through his hair as he continued to speak. "Okay so listen I need a favor from you and Ethan. I need to be at the trial today. Is he gonna have a problem with me being there?" He paused for a moment as there was silence on the line. After a few moments, he assumed she was checking to see if it would be alright. Dean was pretty sure no one would have a problem with it, considering he was a shadowhunter at birth, but one could never be too sure with these kinds of things. "I'm all set? Alright cool. Yea, yea I know. No I won't don't worry. Mhm. Yea, alright bye." Dean hung up the phone, happy at the answer he had received.

Alex had been busy most of the morning trying to whip the new hunters into shape. They certainly needed a lot of work, that much was obvious. Alex was enjoying knocking them around a bit though, it would help them learn, but she also had to admit that it was pretty god damn fun. "Alright guys come on I know you can do better than that!" She had them sparring with staffs, some showed a lot of potential while others seemed to be falling very far behind. She'd have to change that before they got assigned to their own missions. "Again!" Then suddenly, Alex heard her ringtone go off from the corner of the room. Who could possibly be calling her so early? "Alright guys, take a break. I need to take a phone call." The shadowhunter jogged over to her phone, to find her brother on the other line. "Hey bro. What's up? Yea it's been busy here, we had a bit of an incident last night." Alex explained the fiasco of the night before to her brother, but conviently left out the fact that she had been fed upon. Instinctual, Alex's hand went to her neck, where the bite marks hadn't quite healed themselves up yet. "Yea the trial is today why? You want to be there? Why?" Despite her asking his reasoning he ignored her. "Yes yes okay fine. Sure you can come. I imagine people will probably be happy to see you, after all, we all miss the stability we had when you were in charge. Okay. Yea I'll see you then." Alex hung up the phone and turned to her students. "Alright you guys are dismissed. Take the extra time to fix your form! I don't want to have to come back down here and kick all your asses! Understood?!"

Alex made her way back up to her room, climbing the three flights of stairs as there was no elevator within the institute. When she made it to her room, she nodded to a few guards that had been placed on her floor as a precaution and she entered the suite. "Roje??? I've got some news for you." The shadowhunter grabbed a water and fixed her ponytail before scanning the common room, not finding her new vampire friend. Where was she? Had she left the room? The brunette peaked into the guest room to find the bed made and the room looked almost completely untouched, to the common eye, one might've thought no one had been here. Where had the girl disappeared to? The institute was a large place, it would be relatively easy for her to get lost... Hopefully she had wandered too far off, the silent brothers would be there soon and they had to be downstairs and ready for them. They didn't like to be kept waiting. Then again, she might be just disappeared to find breakfast, so maybe it was best not to panic just yet. "She'll be back, and if she isn't I'll just have to go find her." Everything would be fine, after all Alex knew this institute like the back of her hand.

(You don't have to reply to Alex just yet, I just felt the need to tell what she was doing because Dean called her)

This place was a lot larger than Roje had expected. Alex said she was safe within the insitute so there really wasnt anything for the vampire to worry about other than possible Cocky hunters who think they could take Roje on or try to pick on her. She walked down a random hall, trying to find the right Scent of Alex but she lost it due to the multiple hunters walking about, training, or sitting in rooms. Roje found herself come up to a set of double doors which she walked through and seen many hunters sitting at tables and talking or snacking on stuff. Of course, she drew all the attention and she rolled her eyes "Oh shut up and continue doing what you do. Stop looking at me like if im the elephant in the room." even though she actually was the elephant in the room. Moving towards the back, she grabbed a bag of fritos and turned towards the hunters once again who were still staring which irritated her "You know, it's not nice to stare." and just then, someone had tossed a fork right at her from her side which she instantly moved and caught it before throwing it back but past the person and into a wall "Next time you wont try something like that. Trying to be cocky. Not a good look for you." With that, she walked right out and started to head back to Alex's suite, opening the bag of fritos and eating them on the way back.

Just as she got to the floor, she nodded to the guards and walked to Alex's room, walking in and picking up her heartbeat almost instantly "Ah here you are. I kinda got lost on the way around the institute. You know, it's a lot larger than I thought it was. But hey, I got fritos" she lifted the bag "And maybe threw a fork into a wall to scare some staring hunters. They had expressions like I was gonna attack or something. Feels like high school all over again." she popped a chip into her mouth and moved to the couch, sitting down and happily munching on the chips "How was your training? Did you kick some butt? Rattle a few brains?" After all, she did smell of sweat and other mixed smells. But Roje wasnt going to be rude and tell her that... That's not what friends do.

The shadowhunter had finished her water, so she was simply just hanging around in the common room, waiting for Roje to come back from her adventure around the institute. Hopefully she'd be back from wandering around soon, considering they had to be ready in a few hours. Alex sprawled out on one of the couches in the common room, a bit tired from her workout this morning, but not nearly as exhausted as the new Shadowhunters probably were. They'd be sore all week with the way she was pushing them. Which was good, they needed to get whipped into shape, their form was extremely poor and they had no idea how to work as a team! How could they expect to kill a demon when they couldn't even fend off another human?! It hardly seemed like they were prepared enough to go on their own missions, but that would change soon if Alex had anything to say about it. After all, she was probably one of the toughest mentors in the institute, not settling for anything but perfect form and technique. It was necessary if one wanted to stay alive in the real world.

As Alex debated taking another shower after her workout, this was after all the only downtime she'd get for the next few hours, she heard footsteps coming down the hall. Could that be Roje returning from her exploration? It must be. The Shadowhunters thoughts were confirmed as the vampire walked into the common room, munching on some chips. "I see you found the only source of food in the whole institute." The girl laughed and sat up from laying on the couch. "Did you have fun getting lost? I should've warned you that the institute can be pretty confusing if you don't know where you're going. It took me years to figure out where everything was." Of course Alex had been about five, but she wasn't exactly going to tell Roje that, there was no reason to make her feel bad about it. In fact, the fact that she had gotten lost was kind of amusing to her. It made her seem less like a dangerous vampire and more like a normal harmless girl. "Wait you threw a fork at someone?!" Alex laughed, okay scratch her last thought. "Well it sounds like you had an interesting time, as for me, well I need to knock some of the newbies into shape, their technique is entirely unbearable. They'd get torn to shreds on a real mission. But they'll get it. I'll beat it into them eventually." The girl shook her head and stood up. "We should get you out of those blood stained clothes though, you could've helped yourself to anything in my closet, really they're just clothes I don't mind." The hunter made her way to her room. "Come on we probably don't have much time before the silent brothers get here. This would also be a good time to ask about any questions you might have about them. It'll probably be the last chance you have before the trial."
