Alaric quickly appeared in front of Mackenzie, attempting to stop her before she could get into the building, but then that wasn't his prime concern. His eyes went wide as every one of his senses felt like they were on fire and over sensitive to everything, more than normal of course. If he was successful in grabbing Mackenzie he would then move to topple her to the ground along with himself, to avoid both of them being blasted around by the flood of power.

He could tell that it wasn't going to hurt them, but he knew that anyone sensitive to the feeling of the "energy" would definitely be throttled by it, which meant any Supernatural within a next few miles were going to feel it.

Mackenzie turned to give baneful looks at the two male hunters agreeing on what she could and could not do. This was becoming a pattern she was starting to hate; she was in control of her own will, she knew what was coming and she needed to save the people within the building. If she could collect Pasithea and bring her to Hypnos then there would be no need for the building to fall. There were innocent lives inside of it that didn't deserve the fate of those that had captured the gods wife.

She had turned to step towards the building when she felt it. Cold, dark and despairing, a force was moving from where the gods were standing across the ways towards the building. Eyes wide she turned to Elijah. "Get them out!"

It was all she could utter before Alaric was on her, tackling her to the ground and pinning her. Typically she would have been angry, furious, but the onslaught coming was over powering her sense's once more. She clenched her teeth and hissed, she could only hope Elijah was fast enough to warn William.

Bart regarded the girl for a few seconds before climbing down the ladder leading to the top of the wall.. "So you're a hunter then?" He wandered closer to the girl, leaving his weapon holstered; non threatening.

"Name's Bart, I'm the guard captain here," He stated, stopping a few feet from here. "I'm sure you won't mind a few tests before we open the gates for you then, since you're here to help."

As the male approached and asked if she were a hunter, a soft hiss could be heard coming from under her Cowl. Almost immediately a Coluber Constrictor Foxii (Blue Racer) serpent's head peeked from under the fabric, glaring at the male with its black, hypnotic eyes as if in warning not to come any closer. Though, it would be easily noticeable that the serpent wasn't the only animal with her as a fox stayed pressed against her feet. "I am no Hunter... Though, I can be an asset. As for your tests, I do not mind. Edda, please calm down..."

As she pleaded the one called 'Edda' the serpent would slowly vanish beneath the cowl once more to resume her warm slumber.

The fox, on the other hand, stood her ground. Yet, posed no obvious threat if the man were to approach any further.

Elijah shook off his dumbfounded glance at Alaric as the angel tackled Mackenzie to the ground. It wasn't an aggressive movement, more protective... which could only mean bad things for whatever it was she wanted him to warn William about. Eli quickly tapped out three simple words to Hendrix: GET OUT NOW

Will had been standing impatiently, waiting for a reply about the seals, the goddess, anything. He didn't expect the reply he got. The face of Thanatos flashed through his mind, the disdainful look he'd given those around him at the Colony. Between that and that vague hum in the air he'd begin to feel a few moments earlier... William quickly turned to Bruce, Thomas, and Aidan. "Run!"

To emphasize his point, he took off in a sprint towards the stairs. The others, to their credit, didn't ask any questions. They simply followed behind him. Hendrix's gait was slightly off-balance these days thanks to his prosthesis, but the adrenaline pumping through his veins more than made up the difference. Heart thumping in his chest as his boots thudded against the floor, Will was intent on getting himself and his team to safety... or to die trying.

Hypnos picked up his horn and looked it over with renewed purpose. The deity could only hope that his Oracle remembered the vision as vividly as possible. He had called attention to the bleeding ears of those people for a reason, he just hoped that with all that she had been going through at the time of delivery for the vision that she noticed that detail.

Hypnos inhaled and brought his horn to his mouth. He was done waiting on the humans to evacuate. After all they were the ones who caused such damage to to his beloved in the first place! If Mackenzie warned them correctly then there was nothing to worry about. If not then it would be a harsh lesson in paying attention to detail.

Even with these dark and malicious thoughts dominating him a small part of Hypnos wanted to spare the humans and so just before blowing his horn a pulse of his power shot outward giving only a slight glimpse of a human without ears. This blurry image would be sent to every being within the radius of Hypnos's power. It would be his last act of compassion that night.

Putting the horn to his mouth Hypnos poured all of his power into the horn and suddenly all the power that everyone was feeling was suddenly just.... gone. Then in the next moment a sweet and alluring sound. In the next few moment it was replaced with an ear splitting sound that would shatter glass and rupture ear drums. After that any who hadn't blocked the sound would begin to hallucinate before falling into a coma. Lastly the then sleeping people would rise up and begin killing one another.

Chase watched as Alaric physically stopped Mac, Chase reached out grasping one of the angels forearms tight. "Get o--" His grip loosened and his voice caught off when suddenly the atmosphere changed. Chase turned his neck to look around at the empty area as if he could spot what was causing the odd change that made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. One look at Alaric told him that the redhead sensed it as well. Before he could openly question it there was a vision of a human with no ears.

Then the sensation was gone.

He only just managed to throw up his hands up to cover his ears just as the harsh noise started. Chase's face contorted and jaw clenched from discomfort and pain due to his Werewolf hearing, covering his ears only blocked so much. At one point he forced his eyes open to check on the others, that was a mistake. Instead he found himself disoriented, veering and stumbling slightly into the wall of the nearby building. In the end he used it for support as he prayed for the noise to end.

Even Alaric wasn't prepared for this assault, but lucky for him he was immortal. He forced a hand up as the shrill sound began, just in time to deafen the entire group of people from Vitae, including Chase, sparing his Werewolf ears the assault. He cursed as he looked to Mackenzie, hoping he hadn't hurt her in the process of trying to protect her, but he didn't move yet, as he didn't know if he'd been too late in deafening some of the people around them, he only prayed that he hadn't been.

Ashley staggered as the first note of Hypnos' song filled the alley way, hands rose her ears to stop the noise from assaulting her but it was suddenly gone. Confused she looked to Mackenzie, still pinned beneath Alaric, none of this had been in the plan!

Mackenzie cursed silently at Hypnos and his damned visions; he hadn't given her time with the second vision. The first was of the building in perfect detail of what needed to be done to save his wife and she had relayed that message to the group of hunters. The second only came after the wards were down and half the group was still within the building. She had panicked, her concern for Williams well-being had taken over what the message was. She knew Death was coming to those within the building, but had ignored the swansong.

Mackenzie struggled to free herself from Alaric, dark eyes watching the doorway waiting impatiently for William and the others to emerge.

Bart watched the girls familiars warily, choosing not to press forward any further. "Witch." He stated, it wasn't pleasant or unpleasant but a simple fact. "I don't know if we have need of this sort of help." He admitted, taking a step back; witches are notoriously unpredictable. "This is something our Security Councilmen will have to decide, but he's off site."

Bart glanced back to the others on the wall, all of their weapons were readied but he waved them off. "How about you do our tests," He said, removing the silver blade and iron flask from his belt, holding them to her. "And then we'll discuss entrance further. " At least when she proved she could touch the iron -not possessed by a spirit, drink the holy water -not possessed by a demon and touch the silver blade, -not a wolf, he could at least see about fitting a Witch into the mix.

At this, she stared at the male. Her hazel eyes were soft, yet stern. She knew what he was thinking the moment he identified her as a witch. It couldn't be helped, he was after all a hunter.

After a minute of hesitation, she exhaled deeply before lowering her cowl, exposing her true identity. She wasn't notorious to the Hunters, just some witch who had managed to survive for many many years and had the intention of surviving much much more. But surely just the fact that she was a witch would muster enough temptation in other Hunters to attempt to shoot her down where she stood, no matter what form of help she as willing to offer.

Hearing his offer, she began to take a step forward while removing the woolen, fingerless gloves from her hand before exposing her palm to the male. "Do as you will, I have nothing to worry..." her words were just as soft as her eyes as she spoke. Though it was obvious there was doubt in her voice just by the tone she'd used while speaking. She was after all willfully taking a gamble with a hunter. Revealing her face, and allowing herself to succumb to their will and endure their 'tests.' so, it was naturally reasonable that her guard was at its peak. Had he decided to make a wrong move, she'd not hesitate to defend herself.

Síle, Sibéal's fox, was still sitting on the cold ground in wait, inspecting the situation with her orangish toned brown eyes. while proceeding to remain close to the horse keeping it calm in case it decided to act up. After all, horses were particularly unpredictable when they didn't have the mental, and spiritual link to Sibéal as the fox and serpent had. although, that wasn't anything that could be helped. Horses were just very timid creatures.

Hypnos and Thanatos wasted no time abandoning their human facades after Hypnos' attack on the office building and beyond. Judging by the shattered glass in the area a lot more than the single office building was suffering Hypnos's wrath. Just by looking around the gods could tell the entire block had been effected.

" It's time Hypnos. Let's grab get your beloved back from the hands of those wretched humans." Thanatos said before appearing in front of the office building. Hypnos would appear beside his brother a second later and look back to the group. With a gentle smile Hypnos said in a soft voice, " Thank you... for all you have done to help me, but I must be the one to deliver my beloved from this hell. " With that the Twin gods walked into the now silent building.

Elijah felt the change in the very atmosphere around him, prompting a multitude of thoughts to race through his mind about what was coming and where the hell Will was. Then the image of the earless man appeared in his mind's eye -- planted there by a being he didn't need to guess at. His eyes went wide.

No, not yet--
he began to shoot toward the open door, intent on reaching Hendrix as that sweet, smooth note rang pervasively through the air. He barely made it halfway when the follow-up arrived, the ear-splitting note that made his eardrums erupt with pain. Davenport went to his knees, falling over as he hastily covered his ears and fell to the asphalt with a thud. By the time he made it to the ground, the noise had stopped -- along with all else. He cautiously lowered his hands, looking around to see Alaric's raised hand. The angel had protected him and the others from Hypnos' wrath. But how far could his influence reach? If Will was outside what protection this angel could offer...

Elijah stood on shaky feet, staring at the door and the corridor beyond.

William and the others hadn't been far from the exit when Hendrix rounded a corner and nearly bumped into a new figure -- another Wolf, already mid-transformation. He'd holstered his weapon after starting his mad sprint, leaving him with little choice but to slam into the creature without slowing down, driving it back against the wall and pinning it in place.

Thomas was stepping forward to help him, reaching for a knife when Hendrix shouted, "No! All of you get out, now!"

A sound entered his mind, then -- drowning out the snarls of the Wolf he grappled with, his own grunts of effort, and the shouts of his team -- it seemed to emanate from within him, yet fill his surroundings. The beautiful note of a horn. Even with his adrenaline-addled mind focused on keeping hold of the Wolf, his mind put the pieces of the puzzle together. He remembered Hypnos's speech, his plan for the Purebloods.

Shit.

Thomas ignored the plea, causing Will to shout even more forcefully. "It's the god! He's pissed!" The wolf lunged forward, snapping its jaws and barely missing Will's neck. "Go or we're all dead!"

Bruce needed no further urging, grabbing Thomas by the arm and tugging him along, Aidan following behind as they ran towards the light in the distance. The pain came moments after, shattering Will's concentration and prompting his already-sapped strength to release the Wolf. He fell backwards -- no concept of sound now, none except that which Hypnos tortured him with -- barely having the presence of mind to draw and fire with one hand as the werewolf leaped at him. The rounds struck home, barely. Blood sprayed on his face, the wolf lying at his feet. He began to reach up to cover his ears again... but it was too late. His vision darkened.

The song had taken him, and sleep came with it.

The man was having a hard time staying on his feet even with the buildings support, he'd been about to give in to falling to the ground when he noticed the noise had stopped. Slowly he opened his eyes to see what looked like Alaric shielding the group. A low grateful huff escaped him as Chase pushed off the building to stand straight once again, hesitantly he lowered his hands away from his ringing ears. Small smudges of blood stained them, causing Chase to reach up and wipe at his outer ear with his sleeve to wipe away the blood. The werewolf imagined this was what it was like to have a hangover, of similar design with the beating drums in his head currently.

Moments later the two deity's appeared before them in what Chase assumed was their true forms. He dared not move as he watched them enter the building but not before Hypnos thanked them. Currently Chase didn't want it, and he was genuinely curious at how the two planned to cross the second threshold of runes without the help of this group who's purpose was to do just that.

Speaking of which, the rest of their entourage was still inside and their current location and condition were unknown. But even with his senses currently distorted the smell of fresh blood flowed from the doorway. "Screw this, we've still got people in there." Finally his feet moved, and Chase walked into the building.

As the to gods walked into the building they were greeted by a ghastly scene. The werewolves that had been effected by Hypnos' horn were tearing each other apart. Humans killing each other with whatever they could be it office supplies guns, or their bare hands. Yet even with all this slaughter those effected were trapped within their own minds as their bodies were being destroyed. Hypnos gave all of them their ideal futures. What they wanted most in life they would have, much like Djinn's poison if the poison was a hundred times more powerful. They would live out the rest of their lives in the short span of time it would take for them all to slaughter one another.

As Thanatos passed over the bloodied remains of... what was left of those not strong enough their souls were pulled from them and into Death, further granting him power. It didn't take long for the building to fall silent and those within to either die off or survive to have no opponent, but once the silence fell all that could be heard was the footsteps of the gods and the panting of a woman.

Hypnos' heart stirred as he sensed she was still alive, but behind powerful warding. When the two gods finally got the the room that Pasithea was being held in Hypnos couldn't stop himself from running to his wife only to be stopped by the wards. Hypnos struggled against the wards, screaming with effort before realizing it was futile and backed away.

This was the other reason Thanatos was invited to rescue Pasithea. His approach to rescue was rather.... forceful. Looking at the warding carved in the metal beams supporting the room Death clicked his tongue. Those humans were smart.
"Hypnos.... The runes are carved into the columns and ceiling. If we break them it'll cause the whole building to fall on top of us. "

Hypnos looked to his brother his breathing labored and anger in his eyes, " What do we do then? Immortal or not I don't think Pasithea can walk of having an office building fall on her! Not after all she's gone through! What can I do..."
Hypnos asked mostly to himself as he ran his fingers through his hair.

Thanatos looked at the columns once more and thought, " We just need to breathe circle brother. A magic circle this intricate and powerful... once imperfection will cause it to lose its power. Not to mention I don't need to cut through the entire ceiling. Just enough to scratch the circle... it's going to be alright." Hypnos nodded in agreement and Thanatos produced His scythe.
" Are you ready?" Hypnos shook his head as he remembered something. Just in case something went wrong he sent the survivors of the onslaught outside the building. If they managed to make it through that battle royale then they deserved to not have a building accidentally dropped on them.

Once the surviving humans were outside Hypnos nodded to Thanatos, " Ready."

Bruce and Aiden staggered from the building past Chase into the alley way, both giving sighs of relief; they had survived unexpectedly. The two men, hunting partners for years, even went as far as to laugh and clap each the other on the back, happy.

Thomas paused inside the doorway, the god's song had come to an end, and he regarded Chase with a sour look, "You'd think the gods would give us more time, eh Will?" He turned to look over his shoulder to their leader, but found the stair well empty. "Will?" Voice a little louder he called down the stairs, then listened. His echo died out, but there was no other noise, no voice no footsteps. He turned back to Chase. "He was right behind me."

Ashley regained her composure, thankful someone, she assumed the angel, had ended what ever the gods had intended on their group, or at least delayed it. The hunters were returning, and she felt relief they were alright until she could hear them calling Will's name from the doorway. A panicked glance to Mackenzie she was heading for the door, med kit ready, "Alaric, keep her out here." The last thing any of them needed was a Mac getting into the middle of what ever was wrong.

Vitae
If the witch was notorious or well know, Bart did not recognize her, and as she had yet to offer a name, he figured she would give it over when she felt it necessary. "Take this." He held out the silver blade, handle first. "Just a little nick will do, no need to bleed yourself with it." He said as he started to unscrew the lid of the iron flask. "And when yer done, take a drink of this." So long as she wasn't possessed by either a spirit or demon, and wasn't a werewolf, none of these test's would phase her.

"Like I said before, I'm not one to deny entry to Vitae; but we've got a new council member you'll need to speak with. It'll be up to him if you can stay since he's in charge of security here." The man looked uncomfortable with the statement, he knew William had gone out on a mission, taking his assistant which left Vitae with this conundrum; with the two points of authority gone, who was to accept or deny potentially dangerous hunters? "We'll let you in, under guard, and when he get's back, we'll get you a meeting."

Reaching out Sibéal though it'd be easier to take the flask first. Upon grabbing it, she felt her magic began to be drawn from her... Iron did, after all, have an effect on witches. Nevertheless, she dealt with it and brought the flasks opening to her lips and took half of a mouthful of Holy Water into her mouth before handing the flask back to him. Almost immediately after the iron was no longer touching her skin, the light in her eyes were re-kindled.

Looking at the male, she opened her mouth, letting a small bit of the water trickle down her chin to let him know she had in fact taken liquid from the flask before she swallowed.

Next was the blade, which was where she was to bleed. Making it quick, she took the blade from him and with the tip of the blade she cut a small straight line going across the center of her palm causing blood to surface around the blade. "Anything else" her voice was a bit annoyed from the iron flask's effects. Yet, there she was. Unharmed and, somewhat unscathed from the tests he had requested.

William had risen from the concrete floor, staring blankly into the darkness of the maintenance corridor. His eyes were open, but they perceived nothing. His body may have been in New York... but his mind was somewhere else entirely.

Will looked out at the water, watching as the tide rolled in and out. He'd almost forgotten what it was like to do this. He'd almost forgotten how beautiful the Georgia coastline could be. He hadn't been out here since he was a kid... not since the Army. The red sun low on the horizon, he was alone on the beach... no, not alone. He turned to look over his shoulder. A woman's form was there, but turned away from him. He felt a warmth toward her, wanted her to turn so he could see her face. But he could wait. He had all the time in the world now. He stretched out his legs -- both of them, all flesh and bone now -- as he turned back to the Atlantic.

Elijah nodded to Chase and Ash. "I'm coming with you. Will wouldn't have let anything slow him down if he could avoid it. He could be in trouble," he said, grabbing the sword from his pack where he'd stashed it and following the two of them into the building.

Chase hadn't made it far inside before coming face to face with one of the other hunters before, who's name he had yet to memorize. But the other man mentioned Will so Chase looked to Elijah and the three took only a step or two before suddenly they weren't in the building any longer. One second he was staring down a hallway and the next he was staring at a red mini-van and his stomach was displeased.

One look around told him he was in a parking area, and so were others who were scattered about. Few were standing looking just as confused, others were on the ground unconscious. It was a confusing moment, and he clearly wasn't the only one confused. Both he and the nearest man to him eyed each other for several moments before the other lunged, the two grappling for several seconds and between the smell and the strength he could tell this was a Werewolf. A moment later he was shoved backwards into the side of the mini-van, his shoulder wasn't at full strength still and the other man had used that to his advantage.

Chase saw the other Werewolf shifting, his own skin itching to do the same but the voice in his head telling him not to. Instead he reached for the pistol with silver bullets still loaded, and Chase's adversary seemed surprised. Just as he raised the gun the Werewolf skidded to the side taking two shots into the shoulder before sprinting into the midst of the cars.

"Dammit." Chase muttered before slipping behind the mini-van in case there were other Werewolves nearby.

Thomas staggered as the world shifted around him, he had been heading down the stairs, certain to find Will, praying he'd find the man on the way up, then suddenly he was tripping and falling on his face in a parking lot. He groaned, and rolled himself onto his back before the world around him stopped spinning; he wasn't about miss this mode of transport. It was only then he heard fighting and saw a red van buffet to the side. He glanced to the other's now aimlessly milling around the lot, noting which ones seemed concerned with what was transpiring out of sight and those that looked to be preparing for a fight.

Shots rang out quickly followed by a bloodied wolf sprinting between the cars causing a calamity. Thomas had no doubt it could have been avoided, but he knew at least one hunter was behind the van. Civilians, those spared the dream and awake, where running down in all directions; from both causes of terror while the remaining wolves milled. Five in all they were easy to spot since the sound of firearms or the sight of a wolf hadn't startled them. Though Hunters were just as easily spotted for the same reasons; he could now see Ashley and Elijah recovering from the transport; clearly it didn't matter how close or far you were from another person did not translate into new positions.

Thomas was clearing his gun from his holster; pre-loaded with silver bullets, their colony was being attacked by wolves, after all, he was cautiously making his way around the side of the van.

Ashley had heard the shots and seen the wolf tear away from them, quickly noting the only hunter she hadn't seen exit the building making his way towards the van where the wolf had come. As much as she wanted to aid him, she had spotted Eli first, followed by the other men still remaining in the lot after the upright civilians had fled. She stepped closer to Eli, she didn't have her gun on her -which she was cursing herself for, "Do you see him?" Two of the men in the lot were un-moving, simply standing and staring blankly ahead of them, while the other three, she could only assume were wolves themselves, looked confused themselves as to what to do.

Mackenzie had had enough of Alaric keeping her pinned, she had attempted to shove the holy being from her, but, given he was an angel, it was not an easy feat. She was shocked when she heard something like a grunt of pain uttered from the angel before he simply vanished, leaving her laying in a trash filled alley with the two hunters she didn't know staring at her. "Where is he?" She was not about to go easy on the only targets she had. Picking herself up from the ground she was stalking towards the two, slightly satisfied as they backed away from her; clearly her reputation had preceded her. "You left him in there, turn the hell around-" She was cut off by the echoing of gun fire in the distance, all three hunters turned to look down the alley that lead behind the building. What were the odds it was unrelated to them?

Vitae
Bart snort laughed seeing the young woman trickle water from her lips, retrieving the flask when she was done and returning the cap. Blood seeped from the wound and he would take the knife and wipe the blade clean before sheathing it, turning to hand her a strip of cloth to wrap around her hand; if she chose. "Nothing else from me." He said, turning towards the wall and signalling the men atop to open the gates. "Like I said, we've got a Councilmen in charge of admitting potentially dangerous hunters to the colony." He was waiting for the doors to open as he continued. "So until he or his assistant returns from their mission I'll be sending two of my men to tail you. You're free to wander the town as you please, but uh..." He was glancing towards the horse. "We don't have a stable..."

The gates were opened to her, and on the other side were two hunters, one male one female, armed with rifles and a few other pieces of gear, they waited for her entry. "Barracks is just in on the right, don't mind the parking there, that's temporary." Referring to the various vehicles left just outside the barracks. They belonged to the hunters away on the mission. "You can leave your things at the barracks, if you like; that's temporary housing for new hunters." Bart nodded towards the main road. "Down there you'll find the Mess Hall, towns Rec center. Food's always there if you're hungry. Shops are free if you need to top up supplies, and further back is the command center. Vitae awaits."

Alaric groaned as he fell on his own bum after teleporting Mackenzie and the two others to the alleyway. His ears were bleeding slightly and he sighed. Of course, this had to be done by a god, so that even he was in danger. He also had unfortunately left Mackenzie deaf, so if she were to be spoken to... well, she wouldn't hear anything. He stood back up, brushing himself off and glanced around, apparently everyone had disappeared into the building or scattered into groups treating each other's ears. He shook his head slightly as he disappeared and reappeared, restoring his own hearing in the process, and was standing in front of Mackenzie with a smirk.

He knew she was going to try to reem him a new hole, so he figured he'd let her do it while deaf, that way she would sound funny and he could laugh for a few minutes. He also realized she'd probably get physical, but he wasn't too worried about that. But before that could happen the gunfire happened and his amused face deadpanned. He snapped his ears and Mackenzie's hearing would be restored so that she too could hear the gunfire. "Whether you like it or not Miss Mackenzie, I was asked to keep you safe, by a god, and I'm going to do just that. Because what you can do to me, and what he can do to me, my odds are better with you," he says flatly.

"And if I didn't know that this group needs you nearby, I'd just as simply teleport you back to Vitae, but that wouldn't benefit anyone," he finishes as he snapped his fingers to fix a tear in his jacket. "Now, I'm feeling generous, as long as it does not put you in harms way, I will fulfill any request you have," he says smiling softly at her. This was actually genuine, nothing like the smiles he'd given her before as though he'd been trying to be a charmer or anything like this, more personal, and to help her feel a bit more at ease with her situation than she would.

William's body moved without input from his mind, wandering mechanically... but not gracelessly. His eyes were open, but unseeing. The disorientation from the sudden transition was minimal -- his consciousness, locked into living the life he'd always dreamed of -- wasn't aware of it. Moving through the garbage-littered lleyway as if on a patrol to nowhere, Hendrix suddenly froze. Upon seeing three figures. Mackenzie, the angel, and two of the Hunters he'd been with just moments ago. But there was no recognition in his features as he stared at them, walking slowly in their direction.

At the sound of gunfire, Elijah hastily drew his sword. He turned to see Chase with his gun in-hand. He traced the direction the man had been firing in, spotting a blur of movement concealing itself behind the van. His eyes quickly scanned the parking lot for William, hoping against hope... to no avail. Even without the chance to closely examine each man, none of them had the large frame of his partner. He shook his head, opening his mouth to speak when he caught movement in his peripheral vision. He stepped protectively in front of Ashley, bringing the katana up in a slashing motion. The Wolf saw the stroke coming at the last possible second, reeling back and turning what would have been a lethal, cleaving blow into a shallow cut across his chest. The creature hissed in pain, his skin literally sizzling from contact with the silver-plated blade.

Keeping his sword raised in a protective guard and his eyes locked on the Wolf, Davenport reached behind him with his off-hand, drawing a silver-plated dagger from his belt and passing it behind him to Ashley. "Watch my back. We need to get to Chase."

It only took a moment for Thanatos to destroy the wards. With a single strike from his scythe the wards were broken and Hypnos ran to his wife. Pasithea was unconscious and her body horribly damaged. Deep cuts ran across her body. It was clear that the only reason she was even alive was thanks to her divinity. Hypnos just took the moment to hold her and whisper to her how much he had missed her, and how sorry he was.

Then ther was a groaning sound from above. Followed by the sound of tearing steel as the building began to collapse in on itself. Thanatos shouted at his brother to escape and ran to Pasithea. Then the building fell into itself causing a massive cloud of dust and debris to spread outward. After the dust settled there the gods were back in human form with Hypnos carrying his wife bridal style.

Chase was trying to get an idea of what had happened in his head when the sound of someone coming slowly around the van caught his still ringing ears. Quickly he crouched low and shoved the gun right towards the face of the person approaching him with full intent of putting a bullet in his head before realizing it was the hunter from before. "Jesus!" He hissed, pulling back and pointing the firearm elsewhere, "I nearly blew your head off." Chase's heightened senses were still off, if not for that he might have been quicker to realize who Thomas had been beforehand. Even still he heard the quick yelp of what he assumed was the wolf he'd put two shots into, Chase guessed the wolf had run into one of the others.

"How many did you see and did you catch sight of any of the others?" He asked, peeking around the other side of the van. Chase was admittedly nervous, he'd never gone up against Werewolves when he couldn't shift himself to even the playing field a bit. That combined with a lack of information on numbers, where the others were, and where exactly they'd been teleported to had him playing more-so to defense.

Thomas flinched back as Chase raised and aimed his gun at him as he came around the side of the van. "Shit man, sorry." He was coming along Chase's side. "Yea, Elijah and Ashley aren't far off." He was nodding towards the lot to their right. "Four, maybe five more wolves out there." He was moving positions to crouch and lean against the sedan opposite the van, facing the way he had come and checking to be certain he hadn't been followed. "You good man?" He had seen the wolf tare out of here, but otherwise Chase looked unharmed.

Ashley took the offered blade form Eli and switched it to her left hand, and reversing the blade as Mackenzie had taught her. Neither were skilled with blades when it came to fighting, but Mac had at least taught her how to fend off attackers. She was right handed, so leaving this hand free to defend herself gave the left the opportunity to strike; at least that was the theory, Ashley had yet to do so on the field. Mackenzie was the fighter between the two. She shifted her balance on her feet, enough that she could do as Eli needed; hold her own so they could regroup.

Bruce and Aiden had fanned out from Mackenzie and her wrath directed at the angel, neither of the men wanted to get into the middle of that. When the angel was offering genuine help Mac was giving him a look of disbelief before accepting. "Find the others." She stated simply, "Whatever the gods are doing, they don't need us. Find the rest, take us back to Vitae." Thoughts were distracted as she heard Bruce all out he spotted William down the alley way. She turned and without hesitation was striding down the alley towards him.

She was relieved to see him standing; terrified the gods song had caught him, that he was dead or worse locked inside the building. She had seen what the song had done via the vision; the people tearing each other apart in blissful ignorance. Strides turned into a run, but she staggered to a stop as she heard the creaking moan emitting from the building. She covered her head and ducked against the building opposite as the office they had been infiltrating came down in the most controlled manner she had ever seen. Dust and debris rolled through the alley way and as it cleared she stood again, coughing.

William was still standing, still walking towards her, closer now and she frowned. "Will?" She took the last few steps between them to close the gap. "Hey, Doc. You okay?" He didn't even seem fazed the building had come down, eyes glassy and unfocused, she reached to take his hand.

The Wolf locked eyes with Elijah, snarling as it approached. Davenport kept the tip of the blade raised and pointed in its direction, taking measured steps backward -- never enough to expose Ashley to a sudden attack. "Behind us," he said under his breath. "Where's Chase? Are we clo--" There was a sound of groaning steel and crashes like thunder as a section of the building collapsed in on itself, sending a cloud of debris billowing out into the parking lot. Elijah lost sight of the Wolf in the haze, until its form leaped from cloud and smashed into him. He fell to the asphalt with a thud, the sword skittering from his hand as the werewolf looked down at him, readying itself to pounce.

William stood still in the alleyway as pieces of the structure toppled to ground level, allowing himself to be enveloped by the smoke. But something in that cacophony reached his subconscious -- shaking him free of the dream for a split second as he locked eyes with Mac, truly recognizing her this time. He looked down at the outstretched hand, took it in his own without hesitation.

The dream took him again.

His eyes glazed over. His grip on her hand tightened, pulling her forward as his other reached up to wrap his fingers around her neck... and squeezed.

"Yeah. It would take more than a single wolf to take me down." He said jokingly, though knowing there were more of them awake didn't make him the most comfortable presently. Motioning for Thomas to follow Chase moved down the line of cars from the back end, in-between one of the movements he spotted blonde hair and recognized it as Ashley. "We found-" His words were cut off by the sudden noise of the building collapsing upon itself. Chase had already started towards Elijah and Ashley before pausing, and Thomas had to yank him back behind the vehicle for cover as the dust and debris swept over the area quickly.

Chase was coughing when Thomas asked if he could still see them and was unable to answer, instead he could hear the sliding of steel in the grey mist. As well as the snarling of the wolf from before, the two silver bullets hadn't been enough clearly. Chase slipped off his clothing as he backed up once again towards the back of the vehicle and tossed them under the vehicle whilst quickly shifting. With the current lack of vision he had the chance to help more effectively help.

Now in his Wolf form Chase ran into the haze following the noise until a dark shadow of a large wolf came into view just head of him. He didn't even spot Elijah until he'd collided with the other wolf, jaws clamping down hard on the back of its neck. The two rolled a few times in a fit of snarls and growls, both flailing as they skidded to a stop but Chase hadn't let go and gave little room for the other wolf to use his own sharp teeth. But Chase understood this would only be a stalemate until he caught some sort of edge. So Chase released the other wolf and quickly retreated backwards. Chase tasted the copper blood in his mouth, as the two started circling and growling each others distorted forms. He hadn't inflicted more than a flesh wound but he'd gotten the wolf's attention.

Thomas cursed from his position beside a vehicle, confused on how he'd lost Chase so quickly after having just grabbing him. The hunter was squinting into the dust trying to decipher where the others even were.
