Amethyst

Managing to grab ahold of the tray Amethyst heard the footsteps begin to die off as Evelyn walked away. Taking the glass of water Ame drank it all at once before setting it back down. Despite her stomach grumbling she couldn't bring herself to touch the food. Instead she made her way back over to the bedding they gave her. No longer hearing voices or movements outside the cage Ame realized she was alone once more. Letting out a sigh she laid back down before beginning to cover herself with her blanket.

"Being honest isn't the best route I guess." Ame spoke internally.

"You must decide that yourself. Right or wrong, it matters not. You remain in the cage."

"Should I have said nothing?"

The entity remained silent for a time. Amethyst felt awkward not getting a response but finally it spoke once more.

"Perhaps. They do not understand but your sudden answers only bred uncertainty and fear. You must think before you answer."

"One of many," Evelyn agreed with Elijah, though it sounded as though she were being boastful, she was simply stating a fact. "The remained we will inventory and share details with the appropriate parties from among our new allies." She glance to William as he noted for everyone to ready up. She supposed it was only natural for the Nephilim to consider himself a leader among men, something to consider for the future. She waited, until he finished speaking to Brendan what seemed a casual reminder to Brendan, then spoke. "Perhaps I can be of assistance on this expedition?" She pointedly ignored Arthur's short glare her direction. "Harry can certainly vouch for my skills as a marksman."

Brendan continued to frown at William and now Evelyn, as she offered her assistance. "Yes yes, the wolves are coming home to roost, as it were." He shook his head slightly before glancing back at those that would remain in the colony. "I'm guessing they're no chance of soliciting help from any of the Council staying behind." He paused as his gaze fell on Mackenzie. "On second thought, I think Diffey and myself can handle the pack easily enough. No need to make a spectacle about it." He was thankful when Diffey only nodded at the suggestion.

Ashley-May stood, heading around the table to step in beside Elijah and lean in to press a kiss to his cheek. "Be careful, please." She said quietly to him, glancing to Thor pointedly. "I'm trusting you'll bring him home again." She winked, but didn't delay long enough for either to respond in kind. Stepping away she waved to Mac, the small hunter groggily climbing from her chair to follow the blond, clearly half asleep as she left. Ash patted Will's arm as she passed, a silent communication of good will, before heading for the door with Mac in tow.

Emile smiled with relief hearing Chase's offer to 'check in' subtlety with his niece. He didn't like having to go around in such a way but he knew very well Morgan would never answer any of his messages and then when she returned to the colony she'd have a fit for him being over bearing or something. "Merci," He said after a sigh. "Et, non. She call Brody and ask for him to help. After Thor ... die? She tell him she nervous about first hunt." Emile shrugged, not concerned about his nieces nervousness and truthfully relieved she and Adelaide would have back up. "He came et ask me if he go." He glance to Chase with a smirk, knowing very well Chase knew Emile would never had said no. "Plus, wit Brody no in the colony wit us right now, maybe Mac will not kill us."

Over the years he had seen the chaos and death the hunter had brought to the pack - not all of which had been her own fault, but some time ago he'd banned the pack from making contact with her, for even being in the same city as her. She was full of vengeance and spiteful - worse than any other hunter he'd ever come across in his long life. "At least she know we come." He said after a quiet moment.

Elijah watched as Thor approached, the same sword he had seen before shimmering into existence before his eyes. Eli reached out to take the offered weapon with near reverence, the weight of blade and scabbard comforting in his grasp. He smiled at Thor's warning, though his eyes were still on the "gift" as he firmly grasped the hilt, sliding the sword from the sheath only a few inches, just enough to see the polished steel and runes carved along the center of the blade. Sliding it home, he looked up at the Thundergod with a broad smile, inclining his head toward him. "Thank you. I'll endeavor to be worthy of wielding this," Eli said with rare sincerity.

William nodded as Brendan and Diffey expressed their "confidence" -- or perhaps resignment -- in dealing with the Pack. He turned to glance at Evelyn as she spoke up and offered her assistance. He found himself glancing toward Elijah, who had likewise heard the offer. Davenport pursed his lips before nodding and turning away toward Ashley-May, returning her farewell with a quiet reassurance. Will returned his attention to Brimley, "That's your choice. Meet us at the gate," he said neutrally.

"You're nervous about having pack members inside the same walls as her huh." It wasn't a question but more of a note, without looking in the mans direction. Chase couldn't blame him in the least even if his outlook on the situation was different. It was just a fact that his interactions with the woman had been different from the packs, they had years of them and he'd had a few months with few. Chase only had his own interactions and the stories he'd been told to go off of, so his views were different. Mac was lower on his list of worries than she likely was on Emile's. "Like you said, she knows we're coming. So she'll keep her distance if she's uncomfortable, don't worry so much." He turned his head to flash a reassuring smile at Emile before turning back to the road ahead. "This'll be a good thing for all of us." He hated how much it felt like he was saying that to reassure himself as much as Emile, even if he was trying to believe in that. The last thing he wanted was for something to go wrong after pushing for this move.

Thor cast a glance at Evelyn as she volunteered to accompany them "I fail to see the need to have you tag along given our already superior strength and your signifigance for your own organisation, but know this, we and I especially do not follow your orders. We will do this our way. You can decide for yourself if you want to come along, but I warn you, don't get in my way". The deity had not forgotten what the Men of Letters had done to Abiageal, and he was tired of their very organisation. He wasn't sure he could curb his wrath and resist the temptation of sending the woman into the stratosphere at mach five if she began ordering him around on the mission.

Gripping the handles, her knuckles went white with desire. The wheels of her Motorbike exploding on the highway like a slug from a .45. as she bolted through the highway similar a rocket as it homed in onto its target while weaving past any obstacles, in this case - other vehicles, that were in her way as she went from Point A. to Point B. as quickly as possible in order to fulfill her most recent contract. Some rich pompous of a guy was caught cheating on his "beloved" wife with their toddler's babysitter and so, the day that his wife decided she'd had enough of her husbands long, drawn-out affair with their neighbor's daughter - she promised a divorce, one way or the other. A difficult situation for most, though for this old sap it was much more than that; his entire career as a governor of the state depended on his good marital status and he knew that if she went through on her promise then his entire lively hood would be burned to ashes, his future in shambles, and his family ultimately destroyed. And for what? A sweet young, tight little ass on the side-lines to fulfill his dark little fantasies? Not likely.

As she reflected on this iconic situation she'd gotten herself into and how much it reminded her of some porno-flick that's writing was just as bad, if not worse than it's acting. She couldn't help but let out a soft snicker only mere moments until she felt a consistent pulsing vibration come from within the inner pocket of her jacket; forcing her to bring her motorbike safely to a halt on the side of the highway. As Emilia pulled her phone from her pocket she gave a soft sigh as she realized it was the same number from the burner that her client had bought specifically for his "dealings" with Emilia's profession.

*click*

"Hello...? Yes, I'm about ten minutes out of our randevu location... Yes, a vial containing the water from the River of Lithe, correct...? Correct... No... Look we've gone over this once before Mr. Repellant." She let his alias roll off her tongue with a dangerous tone of distaste. "We've settled on ten grand for the vial as out final agreement, I've strictly told you that is as low as I'm going... I don't care that you coincidentally - totaled your car due to your lack of sleep because you feel horrible about the mistake you made." each time her voice raised in that sarcastic tone she motioned the Quotations signal with her hand that wasn't occupied with holding the phone. "If you're not going to pay the full ten grand I'm turning my bike around and you can deal with whatever Tom-Fuckery you got yourself into on your own... Very well, I would hope you a long-lasting and peaceful life, although, I'm sure your soon to be ex-wife and your children will sing a different tune when the divorce papers are filed. Have a nice day." As she pulled the phone away from her ear she could hear her, now ex-client, begging for it back when suddenly - *click*

A deep sigh escaped her lungs that came out as a breath of fog from all the rainy weather as of late. Not that she minded any, hell, her favorite weather to ride her bike in was during storms. Something about it, the sound of the thunder and lightning as the light up the sky like fireworks, even the smell of the rain falling upon the earth... She was, by all means, a pluviophile. Although, that's not what was causing her to despise this ride, instead, it was because she was pissed, pissed that she was now out of ten grand, pissed she now had no means of work, and pissed that her bike was running low on fuel and the nearest town as a couple of miles back. However, since there wasn't much else she could do, she did the only thing that came to mind. Her motorbikes engine came back to life and with an illegal U-Turn, she was zipping back through traffic until she slowly pulled up to the town of Vitae as it was rain from the newly formed storm caused the cities building to glisten.

Chester was a little sad that Thor didn’t take the bait about his smell, but the reactions to Evelyn made it clear she had History with a capital “H” with the god of thunder. Despite this possibly being a problem on mission, Chester was happy of the addition. Would there be some fowl play away from witnesses, where a death could be blamed on demons? One could only hope. Okay, that was probably reading too much into the situation. But it was fun to theorize.
“Ah, bickering.” He said with a smile. “Sounds like the old days.”
He gave Evelyn a wink.
“I’m also not that good at following orders, if that is a deal breaker for you.”

Christopher looked over the newly installed gates leading to the colony; they'd had a sad showing as of late - with Bart sabotaging their predecessors and literally derailing them during the pack night. They'd managed to reattach the old gate with some semblance of function but it had been left ... lacking. After making arrangements with another company one town over the new gates were installed and he hated them. White painted wrought iron, the gates looked like the type of things that would be blocking interlopers to a gated community, not defending the hunting inhabitants of their private community. It would be a work in progress; he already had a list of people to consult on just how to bring the gates up to par.

He was pulled from his thoughts hearing an engine approach and then cut out at the gates. He regarded the woman on the bike coolly before stepping out from the temporary 'gatehouse' and into the rain. "Good morning;" He smiled, regarding her curiously. He wondered a moment if she were with the pack: they were expected to arrive in the morning but no one had mentioned a female pack member (save Morgan). "What can I do for you?"

Evelyn met Thor's gaze defiantly as the pagan god made his threats and his dislike for herself clear. She raised a hand to ward of Brendan as the man hissed; she didn't need anyone to defend her nor what she had ordered her agents to do. In fact she could care less what the god thought of her; he was a dying species on this planet and sooner rather than later his voice wouldn't be more than a whisper. She smiled slowly, eyes traveling to regard the horsemen with curiosity and amusement. "Bickering would suggest that I would reply to the bellowing of a drunken giant." She smirked, nodding towards the door for Chester to walk with her. "As for following orders: I'm clearly not the one in charge so I certainly believe you should disobey to your hearts content."

As they left the Rec center she continued. "Evelyn Brimely, Director of Acquisitions, Men of Letters." She held a hand out to the horsemen. "Apologies for our late attendance but we were met with an interesting subject just prior to the meeting start. I have heard, through the whispers, that you're a horsemen - once of the apocalypse and now ... just men? I'd be interested in getting your details later, should the god deem it fit for us both to return."

Emile nodded as Chase, once again, manage to simply his fears into simplicity. It wasn't a negative notation, in any way, but the fact that clearly Chase just understood him; possibly more than anyone else he'd ever been with before. "Oui," He sighed heavily. "I hope so, for both of us. I hope we trust them wit Thomas. I hope we help wit the Seals et we stop the péché from coming." He reached across the console to give Chase's hand a quick squeeze. "Mais, I wish that this end and we go home, that you come with me Nord. See Borseti et love it like I do." It had been a topic they hadn't spoken on at length. Chase understood that he couldn't give up on where he lived and the pack but neither had discussed the potential of Chase moving north if the time ever came. It didn't seem that the conversation was meant to be had as Emile quickly became distracted with the colonies gates in the distance and figures standing before it.

Having been sitting there for only a short while as the soft drizzle of rain quietly pittered and pattered against the silent road just as lightly as it fell upon her jacket as she patiently waited. Never before had she ever had to wait outside of the gate to a town for someone to greet her and see her inside... It felt so -- Alien -- compared to the other towns she'd been to where she could freely pass in and out of the borders with no one blinking an eye. In all honesty, the only time she'd ever come anywhere close to such a formation was when she had to pay a toll-booth in order to the occasional bridge. But this -- This was just obscure, weird... Unsettling even.

It was then that she was greeted by the gate's opening and a male slipping out asking her for her purpose for approaching the gate, "Good morning" she replied back, "Nothing too awful, I promise." she lifted the tinted goggles from her eyes and placed them on the front of her helmet. It was at this moment that she glanced back at the male who'd greeted her with her lively, rich golden eyes ever so casually. "My bike is just about out of fuel and I need to fill her up..." she looked behind him to the gated community with its painted iron bar fence. "I'd also ask if I could stick around and see if there was any work for someone of my profession" she looked back to him, meeting his eyes with her own once more as the storm started to pick up, forcing her to have to raise her voice a bit more, "But I suppose that's if you even decide if I can come in!"

Chase took a deep breath as the man next to him listed off the reasons to be nervous. There was a lot that could go wrong, that was clear. But if nothing else they could worry together, this thought was only emboldened as their hands clasped together. For the moment however he was taking it moment by moment, obstacle by obstacle. Emile was the one lingering on all of them at once. Then the topic took a curve into the further future with Borseti. They hadn't spoken much on that, but the day was slowly drawing closer when they'd have no other choice. There wasn't a whole lot to it really, Emile was the Alpha of the pack and the packs home was at Borseti. And he was now part of said pack, even if he didn't always feel like it, which meant inevitably he'd end up going. Since Joe's death, Chase hadn't given much thought to what his plans would be beyond seeing the Vitae/Pack conflict finished, which it had been. Still, it was difficult to imagine him staying with a full pack of Wolves at a colony for the long run.

Chase didn't have long to mull it over in the moment, as they pulled up to Vitae's new gates. He couldn't help but feel an awkward pang looking at the clearly makeshift gates that replaced the original's, since they were at fault for the need of a replacement. A man he quickly recognized as Chris outside addressing the woman next to them on a bike. He'd managed to get the passenger window down in time to catch the tail end of what she'd said. The man looked past Emile and out the passenger window at the pair for a moment curiously, ignoring rain that was starting to come down. Briefly he looked up at the rear view mirror to see how far back the next closest pack vehicle was, before returning his attention to the others. The strong scent of fresh rain was making it difficult to smell anything frankly. Despite sitting patiently in the Toyota as the rain came down while Chris dealt with the visitor and potentially giving her the Colony's other being tests, his eyes scanned to see if anyone else was around awaiting the pack's arrival or if Chris had been alone on that front.

William 2.jpg Elijah 7.jpg

William was standing in the courtyard just beyond the gate, idly watching signs of some kind of activity on the other side. A new arrival; Will found himself wondering if it was the first portions of the Pack trickling in. In any case, Christopher seemed to have the matter well in hand. The raindrops pattered against the hood of Will's jacket, coming down in steady albeit not oppressive sheets from the foreboding gray clouds overhead.

He turned to see Elijah approaching, the man likewise hooded. Thor's sword was sheathed at his left hip, the Kurdish knife on his opposite side in its leather sheath. A duffel bag was slung over his shoulder, no doubt filled with holy water, salt, and iron instruments. Eli looked Will up and down as he approached, one eyebrow arching. "You're usually fairly... well-heeled before a hunt."

Will said nothing, simply reaching down to pull one side of his jacket away in order to reveal the Grigori angel sword -- the weapon of his "father" -- at his side before allowing the garment to fall back into place. Elijah nodded once. "You're a Nephilim now. I suppose now is as good a time as any to see what those fancy powers of yours can do." He sighed. "I imagine our entourage will be along soon..."

Thor shook his head "She has guts, I give her that." It took a certain courage to insult someone who could literally kill you with the snap of a finger. "I will await the rest outside." he announced as he vanished and materialised outside alongside Elijah and William. Both were armed to the teeth and Thor noted with a smile "My feeling that we're using a sledgehammer to crack a nut here is growing stronger by the second..." His voice trailed off and he remarked almost indignantly "This has to be the meekest rain I've ever had fall on me, this won't do at all." The Deity then proceeded to look up at the sky, and at his command the grey clouds grew ever darker and the rain began to pour down in torrents, and the roll of thunder was heard as the sky was lit up by a flash of lightning.

Then he began laughing "Sorry, I couldn't resist! I shall not drown you today." Then he made a sweeping gesture with his hand toward the sky, and the rain died down almost instantly, and the clouds began breaking apart, allowing sunlight to get through. With a broad smile still on his lips he said "I mean, what's the point of being a weathergod if you don't have fun with it from time to time?". Truth to be told it felt wonderful to be restored and one with the skies again, much like an athlete who had been unable to train due to injury that could once again do what they loved, only in Thor's case it meant leaving meteorologists extremely confused as to what the hell was going on.

Ginny jogs up to the group of men, now fairly soaked, but she’s got her gun, her knife, and a cheap phone she managed to get a bit ago. Kind of important for her to have that on missions. “Ey, looks like I’m early. That’s always nice.” She says, wiping water out of her face with a sleeve. She leans down to check her leg, making sure that the sharpie hasn’t smudged or come off. She does not want to find out if djinni can be possessed through experience.

Christopher smirked, shaking his head as the woman promised not to do anything 'aweful' He would have loved to keep bantering with her longer; find out if she was here on some nefarious mission but people were starting to gather nearby the gates; the Pack arriving on one side and a collection of hunters on the other - clearly intent on heading out on a mission. "I hesitate to ask but, what sort of work are you in?" He asked, turning to signal the guard on the other side of the gate to open them. He turned back to their visitor as the gate groaned as they moved, with the rainy water slowly dissipated he pulled back the hood of his jacket. "Gas stations just down this road to the left; not much else that's special about this place. I imagine you'll get bored and head out before lunch."

Emile frowned as the window beside him was lowered and the rain let in to pelt at him for the finale of the rain shower. He gave Chase a huff before turning back to watch Chris signal for the gates to open. His frown deepened as he invited the woman into the gates, though didn't interrupt what was going on between them. As the gates slowly ground open he could see William and Elijah standing a short distance on the other side. He wondered idly if the greeting would be pleasant or not. Already the pack was gaining on them, he couldn't wait any longer. He opened the passenger door and stepped out to greet Chris and anyone else.

It took Evelyn no time to gear up and collect her weapons bag from the Men of Letters encampment, she cast Arthur a wary glance as she passed him by. She was quite aware of how he felt about her want to join the colonies task. It may have been year since she'd been out in the field but it didn't mean she hadn't any practice. As they pasted the couple held a silent agreement between them: Arthur protesting the need for her, the director of the Men of Letters, to head out on field duties at all and Evelyn countering that it was very important for the show of good faith for the colony and its people that even the Director will get her hands dirty for the sake and safety of its people.

She headed out towards the gates, not a far distance from the encampment, to greet those that had already gathered. She glanced over the pair of hunters, clearly drenched, but she couldn't fathom why. As she approached she glanced over to see the young Djinn fussing with a drawn sigil on her leg. "Is that..." Evelyn didn't finish her sentence, glancing back up to the Djinn. "I'm sorry that no one had advised you, however those sigils only prevent beings with souls from being possessed." She paused a moment, letting the information sink in. "Djinn, werewolves, gods - they don't have souls." She reached out to pat the girls shoulder. "There is plenty for you to learn, I suppose there haven't been many here willing or able to do so. I hope to bring that change to the colony - shared information is vital for our survival."

Arthur watched Evelyn head off towards the gates and the front of the colony. He knew there wouldn't have been anything he could have said, vocally or during their tense moment, to have changed her mind. Though it would certainly work both ways for them. After she was gone, he turned to look back into the tent where their 'prisoner' was kept captive. He headed into the tent to see how she was doing, with the tray now empty he headed to the edge of the cage to collect the tray and set it aside. "Did you have enough to eat, or would you like something else?"

Ginny looks up at Evelyn, confused. “Ok… so wait, what bit of us gets to purgatory then?” She hates having to ask this question, but there’s only so much she’s been able to learn in her circumstance. Her parents taught their children the very basics of their ancestry and their abilities, but they hardly went into such complex topics with her.

William and Elijah both shared a confused glance as Thor remarked on the weakness of the rain, moments before the downpour multiplied in intensity. Eli let out a groan of frustration, pulling his jacket further over his head until the deity relented. Will simply shook his head as the rain died off; he was soaked through, but nothing so much as a shiver was forthcoming. Prior to becoming a Nephilim, he had never considered how the small, unpleasant feelings like fatigue, heat, and cold would be missed.

Both men nodded to Ginny and Evelyn as they arrived, listening as the two conversed about the redundancy of the former's newest "tattoo". Eli smiled at her question about Purgatory, "That's a bit... theological for me to answer, but suffice it to say that there's never been a single recorded instance of a child of Eve being possessed. You needn't worry about possession, but don't let your guard down. Demons are still dangerous without it," he said evenly.

William had turned his attention toward the gate, spotting Emile and Chase there alongside Christopher and several others; the Pack had arrived. He caught the Alpha's eye, giving him a polite nod. With that, he turned toward Thor. "Ready when you are, 'weathergod'," he said.

Standing there as silent as a mouse as the other's arrived, she only spoke when spoken too so she didn't come off as rude to the actual contributing members of their little community. Although, when she was directly spoken to by the same man who had initially greeted her and about her work no less, she smiled softly and gave the answer that he saught, "I'm a collecter and distributer of sought after goods." she smiled innocently enough, though, there was something off about the way she said it; something that hinted to the fact that her "solicited goods" weren't necessarily your day-by-day goods... And they probably weren't the most legal either. Although, whether or not the ears of the boy were trained to catch onto such hints was not her concern. Nevertheless, when he mentioned to her about the gas-station and that she would probably grow bored by lunch-time she gave a chuckle, "I tend to grow bored wherever I am if I stay still for too long." After giving her responce, she continued to stand there waiting for the other people to pass before she'd even consider the idea of getting back onto her bike.

When the rain suddenly picked up and stopped Chase shrugged it off, watching the gates swing open for them. Further ahead he could see Will, Elijah, the Djinn along with...Thor? Wasn't he supposed to be dead? He decided to chalk it up to God shenanigans and opt to bring up the conversation with someone later, considering the fact that the small group looked like they were readying up for something rather than awaiting the packs arrival. It was surprising, to say the least, that Will wasn't at the forefront of getting the wolves settled considering he'd been the one arguing for this to happen since the topic was broached. Before Chase could make a decision as what to do Emile grew impatient and left the vehicle. Chase followed the man with his eyes, letting out a sigh.

With a light grumble the man put the Toyota in park and stepped out, walking forwards a foot or two to the drivers side of the hood and leaned against it on his forearms. "Not to interrupt, but I don't suppose our tour guide is on the way?" He called over to Chris curiously, far less formal than the approach Emile was clearly going for but nearly just as impatient. As much as he didn't particularly want to interrupt the man doing his job at the gate as well as the conversation it seemed...a little ridiculous not to have someone here to meet the Werewolves and point them in the right direction. Fact was they had a prisoner to unload, they didn't know where they were being set up inside the Hunter Colony and he wasn't interested in trying to guess. Chase had only interacted with Chris once or twice, he knew almost nothing beyond the fact that he was the son of a council member really.

Chester nodded to Evelyn’s introduction. He knew about the Men of Letters from his watching of humanity. Having a higher up member of that organization was slightly worrying. That is, if a director of acquisitions was higher up. The director title sounded it. But “acquisitions” was just down right ominous, no matter how you looked at it. Lots of things could be “acquired”, willingly or unwillingly. That combined with her question about his status made Chester suspicious of Evelyn.
“Ah, I missed this.” He thought, suppressing a smile.
“Eh, Thor will come around once we give him someone else to be made about.” He replied to the Lady of Letters. “I look forward to talking more when this is all over.”
As the others went to collect their gear, Chester went into a corner, patting his pockets. To the keen observer, some of the items he half pulled from some of his pockets looked to be water balloons, a few holy symbols, and a flask. Apparently satisfied, the Horsemen pulled out his phone for a moment. Taking in a deep breath, he turned it off.
“Just have to trust the old goat can hang on for a few hours.” He muttered, putting away his phone.
Going out to join the others, Chaos grinned first at the weather, than his companions.
“Spot on for the ambiance as usual, Thor.” He said with a thumbs up. “Let’s go kick some demons, shall we?”

"Yeah, I think im okay for now." Amethyst spoke quietly. "I hear alot of movement outside. Is something wrong?" She continued on before sitting up and looking in the direction of the voice. "I guess it doesn't matter. In the end I just ended up in another cage. As much as this sucks it isn't something I haven't been through before. My Foster mother considered me unholy. I guess she was right but whenever I had a reaction she decided to lock me in a room or.. in a cage." Ame gestured to the cage around her. "Still, its better than being killed. Sometimes I wish it would happen. Though here I think I have the best chance of it actually working. Considering you were able to cage it in here with me."

Thinking on the cage her mind suddenly went to something for comfort. "Know what, can I have a muffin?"

Thor raised an eyebrow at the conversation between Evelyn and Ginny, he wasn't surprised that the Brit would be too narrow-minded to consider anything a soul that wasn't human "You do have a soul, just not a human one. That's why you're denied access to Heaven and forced into purgatory. She is however correct that I don't have a soul, my physical form is just an extension of my spirit. In any case it doesn't matter. Just be careful and let us stronger with more or less true invulnerability do the heavy lifting, there's no point in you taking unnecessary risks here." He paused and looked at the Horseman, cracking his knuckles joyfully "I am ready and I'll happily tear them apart on a molecular level if you finally told me where exactly we are going. I know a great many things but I am sadly not omniscient."

“Ah, yes.” Chester said, wondering where his maps had gotten to. “I suppose knowing where we are going would be helpful.”
He again started to pay his pockets. A moment later, he reached into a pocket, then looked up at the rain and shook his head.
“Too soggy.” He muttered.
He paused a moment before snapping his fingers.
“Yes, I did.” He said to himself as he reached behind him and pulled out a water proof map.
He presented it to The God of Thunder, tapping a red “X” drawn on it.
“Here you go. Honestly, not that far from here.”
Chaos’s grin deepened as he got a little twinkle in his eyes.
“Are you planning to drop us in the thick of it, or are we going to sneak in?”
“I hope Thor hasn’t changed too much.” The Horseman thought.

Evelyn pursed her lips as Ginny questioned just 'part' of her ends up in Purgatory, she nodded along with Elijah's follow through with records - clearly his memory of of the Men of Letters records were still consice. She raised an eyebrow however as Thor added his personal ideology on the matter. This wasn't the moment to start a debate on the afterlife and what it meant to the different beings that inhabited the Earth. She smiled to Ginny. "In good time, come to our encampment when you're ready to learn more about the world you live in and it's people and I'll ensure you'll have the finest education." It did them no good to leave allies uneducated - knowledge was power in this world and arming allies would be how the Men of Letters survived.

"In the mean time," She reached to the side of her pack, removing several clips of 9 mm ammo, holding one to both Ginny and the other to Elijah. "I'd rather we didn't eliminated all of our enemies this day," She called to Thor, "If we can contain them and then question them it may help us with our endeavours. They might have an inclining to the whereabouts of the Dragon's Sword. That's our priority." She tapped the clip, "These are specially crafted bullets meant to entrap those that are possessed. The demon cannot escape when one of these is within it's host's body, binding them there until we release it."

Christopher stood awkwardly between the pack members and their visitor, momentarily lost as to what to do. It had been his duty to bring the pack in and to their residences and assist with Thomas but it was clear that the woman wasn't about to leave without her own guided tour. "Ah, yes. Just a sec." He turned towards the second guard, flagging him to come over. As he approached he nodded towards Chase and Emile. "Aaiden, you remember Chase." The man nodded, smiling and extending his hand. "Can you bring them in to the houses?" Aaiden looked momentarily surprised but answered 'Yes, of course."

"Great," Chris continued. "You can send Thomas towards the Rec center; I'll let Brendan know he's on the way there and to help him ... settle in." He gave an apologetic smile to Chase and Emile before turning back to their visitor. "Alright, let's get you that fuel and maybe a bite to eat, yeah? I'm Christopher, by the way, I didn't catch your name."

Emile frowned decidedly as Chris spoke quickly, even only catching half of what the hunter guardsman said it was clear that something wasn't going to plan. He shook Aaiden's hand as it was offered, he recalled Chase mentioning him as one of the hunters that had gone to New York and had been pleasant enough. He glanced to Chase with a shrug. "I guess we go," He'd heard and understood enough that they'd be dealing with Brendan when it came to Thomas and he supposed it was for the best.

Arthur frowned slightly, wondering just how she was aware of the noise from the distance, but accounted to her heightened sense. "Just a little chaos in the colony this morning." He said, setting the tray aside. "Some people headed out on a mission, others moving it." He shrugged but felt stupid, knowing she couldn't see it. "Nothing to be concerned about really." He paused hearing her request a muffin. "I think I can do a little better than that." He didn't like the situation they were in, the possessed? Borrowed? girl in a cage. He was confident in his designs and seals, even if Evelyn was being overly cautious. He picked up the metal bracelets again. "Put your hands through the pars, I'll put on the bracelets and then I can let you out, for a time: stretch your legs a bit, get you a decent shower and a change of clothes."

Ginny looks between Evelyn and Thor, now thoroughly confused. She sighs, knowing now is not the time, and takes the bullets. “Thanks.” She says with a small smile. “I’m a bit behind on my education, so I could use it.”

"Missions? Sorta like how I ended up here I guess." Amethyst asked before standing. At hearing of a chance to get out of the cage Ame walked up to the bars before putting her arms through once more. She wondered if they were actually going to let her out. Thinking on it she ended up on wondering if she would be put back in the cage again. "Im not going to end up back in here after abit will I?"
