He has studied in the culinary arts school of Switzerland, making him a master chef, brewer, and host. His parents lost most of their money sponsoring charities and the like before eventually meeting their end at the hands of a poor community in the middle east that turned on them when they had nothing more to give, which fed into his decision to study into their past. As it turns out, his ancestors, to better sell their product of oil and firearms, made a deal with the devil (atleast they perceived the figure to be the devil if they were or not is a matter he isn't able to settle.) So the devil gave them the ability to bewitch men with three cups of the most popular drink of the era. Coffee. With this power, they worked men to death and made a powerful if infamous empire, which was eventually shattered when they became deeply involved with a particular group in Germany. After they were hung during the Nuremberg trials, most of the information was lost. After learning all of this. He legally changed his name and has since started a coffee shop. Seeking to change the world, with its permission or without.

So his power only affects NPCs?
My design will be him taking the homeless population and being quite docile and even friendly until challenged then he will use indirect methods such as Sabatoge and third-party assassination by his minions who aren't directly tied to him to deal with foes

By taking the homeless population i mean he will employ them at his shops and make the most open use of his power to rehabilitate them into model Citizens. Having their lives taken over and improved from an outward view will affect them mentally as he gives them the most commands they can't disobey may be a give away as to the nature of his control on them. Still, he has only good intentions if very dark methods.
 
Due to the nature of his power, it's not as if they know they are under its sway mainly, and the thoughts will occur to them naturally. It's not like they are forced to follow his command but rather what he says seems sensible to them and, in fact, like the only logical conclusion. But losing that kind of control over your life accepting reasonings you never before would have has a probably pretty harsh effect on one's mental state

Powers/abilities:
  • Telekinesis: To bind objects from moving, levitating, Fields that she combines with her bubbles to add extra strength. Pushing, pulling, and moving objects off their course or deflecting an opponent attack. Manipulation of objects (ex. unlocking a door) and to be able to lift herself up (though she doesn't know how to fly with it and only floats). She is still developing her ability, discovering more uses for her powers.
  • Shabonikinesis (Bubble Manipulation): Simple but useful, the bubbles can be used as a distraction or even a cushion when falling. Changing the size of a bubble can be used as a force field, helping her with transporting large items that would take up a lot of energy with her telekinesis alone. She has even been trying to figure out how to incorporate other elements into her bubbles. Through the use of her bubbles are a bit more recent than her use of telekinesis. The size of a bubble and the force placed on her use of a shield takes up a lot of her energy.

Weaknesses: Being shot, stabbed, crushed, anything that would kill anyone. She can get tired if she overuses her powers, as well as her emotions, affecting her powers. A very large force field takes up a lot of energy as does moving large items. She is also not a big fan of thunder and or the dark.
Personality: Friendly, bubbly, and kind. She can be quite trusting of others, sometimes too much that it gets her into trouble. Always tries her best to befriend everyone be it humans or animals. Eliana can be a bit naïve as she tries to always see the best in others. She might seem a bit childish the way she acts, or how she dresses, but she is determined, a bit stubborn, and does know when to be serious. She is not the strongest or the most powerful but that will never stop her from trying her best to help those around her.
Backstory(optional): (for now will add later) Lives with her grumpy rich old great aunt (Damila) that tries to keep her out of her home and busy.
Other info(optional): loves the color blue and pink, cats, sweets, animals, nature, and rain. Hates celery, mean people/bullies, homework, exams, the hot weather, and has a fear of thunderstorms.

Appearance: Amber is tall, with a curvy hourglass body, quite beautiful with soft facial features. Dark skin, almond-shaped eyes with rich chocolate-colored eyes and wears golden rim glasses. Covered with freckles, mainly on her nose, cheeks, and shoulders. Long, thick, very full wavy deep chocolate brown hair.

Powers/abilities: Healing Tears - Amber has the ability to heal with her tears. Wounds can be healed with just a touch of tears. The tears are able to heal any living thing, including humans, animals, plants, etc. just as long as they are actually living things. Although her tears can heal and mend wounds they can not bring the dead back to life. She has levels of tears ranging from simple cuts and bruises to broken bones and sickness. Though depending on the type of wound/injury it requires different amounts of tears and energy, as well as “crying sessions” as she likes to call them.
Her tears have to hit the physical wound or affected area (for example for broken bones) in order to heal it. The tears have to be sympathetic, with compassion or done willingly in order for them to work. Forced tears will cause her tears not to heal or worse cause damage to the existing wounds. Her tears can only heal physical damage, not emotional or mental damage.
Besides her ability, she also has normal knowledge of first aid. She knows a good amount of hand-to-hand combat fighting, though she is nowhere as good as others who focus their lives on fighting villains, after all, she is a healer. But she has been taking a few self-defense and martial arts classes lately.
Weapons(optional): An extending staff (no now but later, think this would be a good weapon for her)

Weaknesses: The overuse of her ability can cause redness and dryness in her eyes, so she always carries special drops along with her. As well as migraines can emerge with overuse. Sleepiness and at times a small headache is a normal occurrence after a normal day's work.
Personality: Amber is a friendly, caring, and a nurturing person. Becomes a very trusting and close friend to those she grows close to. Always tries her best to look on the positive side of things, keeping a smile on her face, although at times she is crying on the inside. She can be quite the emotional person, scolding anyone, be it a child or an adult if they act stupidly. But then be relieved and pull them into a tight hug, glad they are alright (she is a huger). Mayumi is the type of person that will try her best no matter what and won't give up, to which she can be quite stubborn. Helping out others around her even if it means negating herself. She is a huge believer in not judging someone by their cover. Though she does love to be around others and can be talkative at times, she as well enjoys time off on her own. To be curled up in a warm blanket knitting or reading a book, as she occasionally loves to do on rainy days as she stares out the window. She is a wonderful listener, enjoys the company of others. Will always be there for anyone if they are ever in need or just need someone to listen.

Other info(optional): Enjoys books, knitting, creating delicate hand embroidery, nature, rain, chocolates/pastries, and tea. Adores flowers, the color lilac, creatures of all shapes and sizes, and loves to dance. Dislikes sour foods, excessive weather days(way too hot or way too cold), and the mistreatment of animals and people especially children.

Weakness: if she uses too much blood she will fall into a feral state and will try to drain the blood of the nearest warm body before collapsing. (Often mistaken for a vampire) she needs to either consume blood from somebody, or a blood bead once a day. Can still be killed like any other, just a lot harder to do so.
Weapon: can make weapons from her blood, even guns.
Backstory: was once a young girl born to a wealthy family, until one day she awoke in the charred remains of her bedroom and home. She soon realized she couldn’t die like a normal human, she never gets hungry, if she is killed her body just turns to ash and reconstitutes after some time.
Other info: the spearhead chain is how she defends herself from surprise attacks, and it’s how she consumes blood from a warm body.

On the path of righteous vengeance, he searches for knowledge and power. A search for keys of success that will once again reclaim his Brotherhood's dignity. And so, he wanders...
