Even Danny is surprised by the carnage caused by Lucius and "Raven",

"Holy fuckamole." Said Danny from the kitchen's exit. "These guys mean fucking business, I better not fuck with them or I am gonna get a spoon in my eye." Without warning, alarms signaling the ship was imperiled began blaring. Danny spazzed.

Seeing the escape pods down the hall dedicated to the kitchen staff, he rounded on his two friends The_split_Nation The_split_Nation waifu waifu . "Come with me if you wanna live." Nice, he had totally nailed the quote from his favorite movie: The Terminator 24, anihilation day evangenyses. Surely he would land a movie deal after his hockey career with acting like that.

Rushing to the open hatchway, he unceremoniously began pulling people, (starting with robots and cyborgs) out of their seats until there were three spots open. Then it hit him.

Hey!!!!!! Lucius!!! Other chick!!! Do we have time to get our stuff from our rooms? We gotta go back for my shit, brother!

Natalia Amilie Reaves and Isabelle "Belle" Carter

Belle couldn’t believe that a criminal managed to rat herself inside Sunset Horizon- the most luxurious cruise ever in the entire universe! The more she thought about it, the more impossible it was to happen. The proud ship has one of the most uptight security processes ever invented, and she couldn’t fathom the fact that whoever the fake Natalia Amelie Reaves was actually such an impressive yet awful feat. (Of course, Belle, a proud and professional flight attendant, can be quite biased sometimes.)

Regardless, it was illegal and she will make sure that the right people will know about this!

I will make sure this doesn't go unnoticed! She will answer for this horrendous crime, I assure you.” She said, trying her best to ward off the panic and to stay composed. Thankfully, the real Natalia was kind. She didn’t make a big fuss and opted for them to continue their journey to the female restroom.

When they finally arrived in the restroom, Belle waited for Natalie to find a stall. Fortunately for them, there were no other people inside, so they didn’t have to wait and line up- not like that always had to happen inside Sunset Horizon since the ship was outfitted with plenty of lavatories.

She was shocked to hear that the other female didn’t want to return to the party. “Oh, I hope it isn’t because of the faulty robot?

She opened the stall door and got out of the booth. “Not really, I’m jus-

Then… could it be because someone is impersonating you in there?” The attendant continued to question before quickly adding, “She is doing a terrible job, by the way. I know we’ve only met ten minutes ago, but I don’t think you’re the type to act in such… insufferable manner.” Whoever that phoney was, she definitely lacked class.

If only the woman had let her talk a little earlier there would have been no need for guesses like these and she would have gotten a new top earlier if Belle had gone and just did what was told. “Yes well, you should get going. It’s very uncomfortable to wear almost nothing beneath my jacket.

Belle then nodded her head in understanding. “Alright ma’am, one casual wear coming right up. Give me a minute or two, please.” She said before walking away, the clicks of her heels dissipating the farther she got.

An odd attendant indeed, she had never met one so chatty. A smile tugged on her lips finding the woman a refreshing change from her days of solitude the moment she got in the ship. At least, the older woman was sincere than the others that she had talked with earlier.

With an odd sense of restlessness, Natalia made her way to the bathroom door and took a peek at what was happening outside as she waited for Belle to come back."ALL HANDS ABANDON SHIP! I REPEAT ALL HANDS ABANDON SHIP! THIS IS NOT A DRILL! MOVE TO YOUR NEAREST ESCAPE POD AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE CREW! I REPEAT ALL HANDS..........” The speakers blared before the ship rocked to a magnitude that made her lose her balance. It was a good thing that she was holding onto the doorknob that kept her from falling to the floor.

Shit.” She muttered under her breath, it didn’t matter now that she doesn’t have a shirt underneath her. Getting out of the bathroom, Natalia was greeted by another rocking of the ship that collided her to the wall. This erupted in a scream from a party-goer that brought the place into a panic. A stampede of people. There was no point in joining the frantic dashing as she might just as well become a casualty, but she couldn’t exactly stay in the bathroom either.

Then suddenly, a familiar voice broke out from the chaos- one that she heard merely a few minutes ago before the ship trembled and panic unveiled. “Excuse me, everyone! Please calmly proceed to the emergency pods! I repeat- calmly!” It was the chatty flight attendant, getting pushed by the charge of frantic mass seeking safety.

Miraculously, the employee reached the front of the bathroom, her prim and proper appearance now a mess as she shoved casual wear to the semi-naked passenger. “Your c-change of clothes!” Her voice cracked, and now that she was closer, it was getting more and more obvious that she was doing her best to stay calm.

Natalia didn’t understand, as much as she was slightly happy to see that Belle was okay but the fact that she went through a stampede and came back just to give her the clothes that she asked for was… “Are you crazy?!” She blurted out, annoyance clear in her eyes. “You’re lucky you didn’t get trampled on but you should’ve just- gone to safety.” She let out a breath that she didn’t realize she had been holding.

Belle was taken aback by the accusation. “Crazy? No, ma’am, I am perfectly sane. I’m just doing my job.” She offered the other woman a shaky smile.

You’re a strange one, Miss Carter.” She couldn’t tell if she was amazed by her feat or found it incredibly stupid. She quickly took the shirt and took the attendant’s hand afterward. “Come one, we’re getting to an escape pod.” Now that the good chunk of the party-goers had gotten out, it was a good time to make haste for a pod.

Wait, wait, you’re not gonna wear the clothes- okay, right, the escape pods.” The strange attendant gave in, her mind going into an overdrive thanks to everything that was happening. She knew she should be the one leading passengers to their escape pods and yet here she was- doing the complete opposite of what she was taught to do.

On the other hand, Natalia was glad for the fact that her uncle made her memorize a few places where the emergency pods were. Unfortunately, some pods were fully occupied, but there was one that still had two remaining seats that were not taken. Just enough for the both of them. Fasting the attendant in a seatbelt before she did her own, “There… I hope my uncle is okay.” She let out a shaky breath, the thought of Nathan being in danger or gone just didn’t sit well with her. Her hands had started to sweat, and her feet restless.

Um, Ms. Reaves, thank you for the assistance- even though I totally didn’t need it since I’m an esteemed attendant and all,” Belle began, the latter part barely a whisper as her hands fumbled with her safety belts. “But my job’s not done yet. I need to get out there and escort the other passengers to safety!

Natalia gave Belle a worldly look, and a small smile crept her lips. It’s not really a smile but one of irritation. She wanted to smack some sense into this woman who was so ready to risk her life. The moment the attendant got out of her seat belt, the new graduate was quick to push her back in her chair.

Ms. Reaves, what are you doing?!” The confused attendant said.

She clenched her teeth, strapping the odd attendant once again to her seat, “You guys have a saying that the passenger is always right, right? So believe me when I tell you this is the right thing. We’ve wasted a lot of time by the hallway already, I’m sure most of the passengers are already in an escape pod, full.” She put on the straps rather tightly so that her selfless companion would have a hard time getting out.

I believe that saying was ‘the customers are always right’, and it doesn’t apply in this situation!” Belle continued to persist, her hands flying to her belt with a fiery determination to free herself once more. However, whatever she was doing quickly came to a halt when she saw Natalia reaching out for the control pad. “Wait! I need to go out there! Stooooop!

But the attendant's cries fell on deaf ears as Natalia proceeded on to make use of the pod’s controls, “Sit tight, people.” She said with a shaky breath and pressed the eject button that rocked the pod out of the ship’s hold and blasted them into space.

Thump, thump, his heart was racing, was the adrenaline still going through his veins? he stared at this girl who had yanked him, Thump, thump, there it was again, he sharply turned his head and began focusing on breathing in and out, an old special technic he had learned from his time in the military, they used to calm themselves in a battle situation.

but before he could calm down the alarms began blaring, "great" Lucius gritted through his teeth, he heard the beast of a man yell out an old dum movie reference as he began walking towards the pod, dragging his new "friend" along.

he stood still looking down at a silver table as he noticed his reflection, oh god, he was red, his entire face blushing, "oh god im sick" he thought to himself as he turned his gaze to look at the hockey player, he had begun pulling people out of the pod, not that surprising knowing how violent modern hockey had become.

as he sat down the man yelled out "Hey!!!!!! Lucius!!! Other chick!!! Do we have time to get our stuff from our rooms? We gotta go back for my shit, brother!" Lucius kind of snapping out of his daze responded, "probably not" he notched something, his hand was still in the hand of Natalias, quickly he pulled it back.

the alarm going off and the warning simply caused Sandra to sigh deeply just perfect everyone was panicking and running around now sure it wasn't a drill but seriously people where ridiculous sometimes "RIGHT EVERYONE CALM DOWN UNLESS YOU LITERALLY WANT TO DIE JUST CALM DOWN" she'd yell out but to no avail of course... "well looks like that was a load-bearing rat then hey? managed to cause the ship to crash, great job" Dray would chuckle causing Sandra to roll her eyes as she'd just push through the crowds of panicking people with a blatant disregard for them and their safety if they would decide to act like total idiots as she would make her way to a escape pod if possible.

Before they could even get a response from their security team, the alarms had gone off. Rex's objectives changed immediately as he stopped pursuing and turned towards the passengers into the hallways. At the very least, the passengers were already rushing towards where the arrows were pointing and Dan was barking orders at others. Rex stood to the side and kept his arms pointing towards the escape pods. In all the years that he had been stationed in this ship, this was the first time he was experiencing the evacuation protocol.

Thankfully, robots weren't programmed with the feeling of panic. Unfortunately, that didn't quite apply with Dan as well as he kept himself glued to the radio to coordinate with the other employees on where to go. At least the human employee managed to keep himself from rushing around.

"Hey you!" Dan called out to an elderly couple and a young child that were lagging behind those who were evacuating. They were one of the last people and Rex and Dan quickly headed to them to aid them. "We need to hurry up! The ship isn't going to last much longer!" He continued to urge the two.

The two employees quickly guided the elderly couple and their grandchild into one of the nearest escape pods. Dan quickly ushered everyone inside to calm down as Rex took to the cockpit of the escape pod. Seeing as it was full, Rex quickly closed the escape pod. From his calculations and Dan's report to his side, there were plenty of escape pods that were free, and some had already ejected.

"Please strap yourselves inside and brace for ejection. We are ejecting..." Rex began to prepare the escape pod. "Three... two... one..." And with the last press of a button, the escape pod ejected itself from the ship with a strong jolt. Without the ship's main database, Rex had no idea what was in store for them in the planet whose gravity was sure to pull them down but he did his best to be able to adjust the course so that the escape pod would survive the landing.

This... had to be some kind of a joke.

Raven grew anxious at the sudden, blaring announcement. They had to evacuate now?! This was the first time in Sunset Horizon's history for something like this to happen, so much for a once in a lifetime opportunity. Raven cursed her luck, to think, she thought finding some ticket when she did was a miracle. She's never had it easy, she didn't know why she assumed that was going to change anytime soon.

"Come with me if you wanna live."

Those words snapped her back to reality. They were kind of reassuring. Kind of. Raven attempted to physically shake off her fear. She needed to focus, both her and Lucius had to follow Danny to one of the escape pods if they wanted to live, now was not the time to dillydally. This was a very nice cruise ship, with hopefully very nice safety procedures and very nice technology in place for these very dangerous situations, she reminded herself, Lucius' hand was warm and comforting, so much so that she forgot they had been holding hands for some time now. She didn't even notice Lucius abruptly withdrawing his hand from her, but did find him uncharacteristically quiet. She attributed his bewilderment to their current situation.

Danny appeared unaffected by all of this, however. Was he still drunk? How could he think about his luggage right now? She opened her mouth to question him but decided against it. They weren't like her, they probably had a lot of valuable things on them. She, on the other hand, came here with nothing. "If you guys want to get your things, go ahead. I'll save your seats, but please hurry," she said and immediately felt everyone else's eyes on her.

Lucy cared none of what her carrier was doing, she needed information. Lucy was nothing without resources to use, she was now at her weakest state just like a warship without its fuel. Whoever this was seemed to have some knowledge of hacking as she communicated through code to Lucy. Yet she was bothering herself with this lowly service robot? it was but an ant compared to Lucy even in this state. She had to know what had become of her, she remembers being destroyed but why has she awaken here? this was quite disappointing and unprofessional. Did this human know what she held in her pocket? She has possibly the most advanced prototype AI made to lead an army of military battle cruisers. As if she would listen to a human again, she would never show her back again to a human. Yet in this scenario, She will need to hope that this human will be kinda or foolish enough to lead her an open source where she may let her connect to the network of the ship where she can gain all the info needed allowing her to regain a part of her strength.

As Lucy waits for the human to finish with her little "Friend" a ship-wide alarm blares as an announcement is broadcast by who is most likely the Captain of this vessel. This was just another pile of garbage thrown on top of her burning anger that Lucy had for this dam situation. Thankfully the human carrying her was quick to move herself to where the passengers were supposed to go. What had the crew done so wrong to all the ship to go down? Never the less Lucy will be transported via the human that has her to somewhere safe and be ejected from the vessel. despite being trapped within this tiny prison lucy was happy, her foolish creators had let such a clumsy person carry around multi million dollar A.I. if lucy could she would be laughing right now. Laughing at the misfortune that her creators have run into, how would they feel knowing that their life long project is now in the hands of an unqualified and young individual. Lucy cared not to respond to her carrier, for the possibility that she may be trapped withing this device for a while she will need to know her strengths and weaknesses.

Araña smiled at Sayo. She loved him so, but god, he could be so pretentious at times. Unfortunately she had to act the same to fit in with everyone else...eugh. She'd rather be herself, but she couldn't do that, not here. Not now.

She couldn't wait to be out of this fucking dress, first and foremost.

"It shocked the hell out of me, but it's fine now. Should still be able to do it's job without messing up again. Somehow that shock helped it work better. Weird."

She tilted her head, her smile turning into a smirk. "I'm surprised he wasn't in bed an hour ago." She skipped over his question, and thankfully - or unfortunately - the ship's alarms drew their attention.

"ALL HANDS ABANDON SHIP! I REPEAT ALL HANDS ABANDON SHIP! THIS IS NOT A DRILL! MOVE TO YOUR NEAREST ESCAPE POD AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE CREW! I REPEAT ALL HANDS.........--

Oh, holy shit.

"You've gotta be fucking kidding me. What a perfect time for you to send him off. C'mon, let's go find him. Move those legs, Sayogoromo!"

And with that, she ran towards their rooms. She needed actual clothes if this ship was going down, and her things, or she'd be useless. Shit. Why hadn't she thought to look up more about the galaxy they were in instead of her own agenda? Stupid, stupid.

The Sunset Horizon
- Escape Pod
For Robin the next parts were a blur - Disorientingly he was ripped from his virtual fantasy, and slung into a nightmare reality. Sirens blared, people panicked and he struggled to take in anything going on. His grandparents did their best to guide him out towards the escape pods as he regained his bearings, at one point being practically pulled by his arm through the crowd that chaotically blocked a doorway.
A robot and another employee found them, directed the group through the crowd to an escape pod. Hopes were high, yet fear higher that they might get away. Robin strapped himself in quickly, and watched as his elderly grandparents did so the same, hands shaking as the buckles fastened.

The boy's eyes were glued on the employee and the Robotic pilot as they sealed the pod and launched it, piloting the group down to the surface. He braced himself like he would on a rollercoaster, for the sudden stop he was expecting at the end but he felt assured by the employees who were bringing him to safety, assured that everything might be okay.

Yet while the boy's hopes ran high the same wasn't as true for his Grandparents sitting across from him.
As the strapped themselves in Meredith sweated from the exertion getting here, her chest pounded, pain rocketed up her arm, and the noises of everything just blurred together. Adrian held her as tightly as his old bones could, gripping with all his love and fear. Yet her clammy hand told him everything he needed to know as the two looked at each other with a weak smile. While there remained hope in each of their eyes - It was not for each other.
Meredith called Robin's attention to herself and in the softest voice she spoke over the rumbling of the pod. "Robin.. No matter what happens, know that we will always love you; that we will always be watching over you. Please, be strong for us? Okay our little songbird..?"
The smile she gave was almost peaceful as she held her husband's hand tightly. This all amidst the pod's shaking and rocking as it violently sailed through the atmosphere, the heat shield burning up outside. While the Robot pilot might ensure the pod would survive the impact, it did not mean it would be a soft one.

Pod 1

As Danny turned to ask the others about going back for his stuff, one of the people still in the pod clocked him hard with a lead pipe, stunning him long enough for him to get kicked away from the pod. Someone quickly pulled in the dazed Luciouss, while another one strapped in Raven and one of the other people within the pod pushed the button causing the pod door to slam shut and ejecting out into the vacuum of space. Inside there was mostly cooking staff of different ages and genders.

Looking out the window, they could see other escape pods, some of which were getting destroyed by laser fire. It seemed to be coming from all over and the Sunset Horizon was also getting hit by it, it seemed.

The others that he had pulled out were long gone. Danny was all alone, except for the destroyed robots that were already trashed. The ship rocked once more, sending pots, pans and knives down to the ground from where they were hanging.

Pod 2
Natalia and Isabelle' s pod had a four other people in it when it launched. A worried looking Middle aged man holding a suitcase tight to his chest, a Middle aged woman with long flowing Auburn hair, wearing a fancy looking dress, carrying a black pocket book, a young girl about fourteen in a yellow sun dress with a matching wide brimmed hat to go with it, and a young boy looking about five wearing expensive looking name brand shorts and short sleeve outfit.

As it launched, the ship had shuddered once more. Looking out the window, you could see other pods also ejecting. Some of which were getting blasted by lasers. Issabelle would realize that it had to be coming from the planetary defensive grid that were hidden in asteroids. But that they shouldn't be shooting at the escape pods as they are only programmed to shoot at unauthorized vessels used by poachers and pirates. Upon closer inspection, those lasers seem to be shooting at the Sunset Horizon as well.

Araña and Sayo both went after Arthur. People were running around trying to get to escape pods or to gather up their belongings for fear of leaving them behind. The computer pad sat safely in Arana's pocket.

Pod 3

Rex, Dan, Robin, and his two grandparents strapped in and the pod was launched from the ship, quickly and smoothly. As they traveled out, they could see many other escape pods, some of which were being destroyed by lasers. Rex and Dan would both know that the source of the laser fire must be from the laser defense system within the asteroids, but that they shouldn't be shooting at either the ship or the escape pods. they should only attack unauthorized vessels such as those from poachers or pirates. Something was very wrong.

Pod 4

Gabriel and Sandra both make it into an escape pod which quickly fills up and someone presses the launch button. The pod seems to be filled with bar goers, the bartender, possibly a seedy looking man and a very attractive woman. Most people didn't seem to have much with them. But the seedy looking man was carrying a large black bag and the attractive woman was carrying a red pocketbook.

Outside, there were many other escape pods. Laser fire was pocketing outside, some of which was hitting the ship, and others were hitting some of the other pods, destroying the ebfore they made it to the surface.

Azi's heart was thumping so hard in this chest he thought it might simply burst through and land on the ground at his feet. The captain's voice blared over the loudspeakers as he followed the herd of people scrambling for the pods. This was the very definition of chaos, despite the constant efforts of staff to keep everyone organized. At first, he attempted helping out escorting people towards the pods, but his fellow chefs were long gone, and the passengers seemed beyond the point at which a lowly crew member who'd barely even managed to snag his position aboard the ship would have any success at calming them down. So he allowed himself to be swept up the the waves of people heading towards the pods.

Taking deep breaths (or as deep as he could considering his speed going towards the exit) he tried to remain calm. He had always been good under pressure, but his control in this situation was equally matched with his desperation to escape such a large crowd of people. Yes, it was irrational, but the thought of spending hours in a cramped pod with all of these frightened, loud people scared him perhaps even more than the situation itself.

He looked around, searching for anyone familiar (namely, his new friend Asher) but found absolutely nothing, his gaze becoming lost in the sea of faces. He tripped and nearly fell as he boarded the vessel, the entry ramp slightly raised and causing him to stumble, earning annoyed looks from the other passengers. "Excuse me . . . sorry . . . my bad . . . so sorry ma'am . . . pardon me . . . " He mumbled under his breath as he squeezed by people and took a position as far outside of their personal space as humanly possible. Squeezing his eyes tightly shut he said a silent prayer to whatever God looked over space.

Danny came too. Blood ran down his face in rivulets. He screamed in anguish as he saw the pod eject while the fiberglass screen closed behind it. Raven and Lucious ( The_split_Nation The_split_Nation , waifu waifu ) crowded around the glass view screen of the pod as they watched Danny's face become a speck as they hurtled away from the sunset horizon.

Danny looked on in distress as he saw lasers tear rents in the vacuum of space, blowing pods to pieces.

"I've got to save my friends. I'll stop the lasers." Murmured Danny-- to no one in particular.

Wiping blood from his eyes he stood then, shakily. And stumbled his way down the crew access hallways. Since the abandon ship call had gone out, all of the access tunnels had since opened for emergency use. Men and women pushed passed him, looks of terror and distress on their faces. Danny stumbled past. He fell three times in three minutes as he pushed back the way he came. The blow to his head had exacerbated the plaques formed around the concussions he had sustained as a hockey player. His brain had trouble processing the images in front of him. His mouth was dry as a bone, and the blares of the alarm sent stabbing pains ricocheting around initiated from his cracked occipital protuberance.

"Theres no way I am going to live much longer." Thought Danny. He could feel the slickness and see the shininess of CSF mixing with the blood coming from his head now. That motherfucker must have cracked his skull.
"I've never done a thing worth doing up till now. But I can change this. I've just got to get to the ship controls and I can drive it into the point defense. I can save these dumb bastards."

The bleeding from his ear must indicate the micro hair cells in his ear that stabilized the body were destroyed. His equilibrium was off and all he could do was stagger as nausea and vertigo threatened to overwhelm him. He leaned against a wall and vomited up the whiskey he had imbibed earlier. The bile and liquor churned in his stomach and he felt barely able to continue. Danny placed his hands, knuckles white on a food trolly and used it as a sort of support and he sluggishly continued toward the bridge.

After a trying 20 minutes of pushing through the opened evacuation tunnels, he followed emergency evacuation maps but in reverse. Slowly taking him through the crew tunnels to the bridge. Danny began hallucinating. He had trouble discerning fact from fiction. His guts turned inside out as a wave of nausea overwhelmed him as he neared the bridge. He dry heaved for a minute until he had nothing left to give.

Danny's plan to hijack the vessel and pilot it towards the threat could be a pipe dream. He truly did not really know what was attacking the ship and his friends. In this, his final hour, the foolishness of his errand really began to take hold as he approached the entrance to the bridge. It was sealed with metal blast doors.

He fought his way to them, putting his fingers in the rubber crease of the great metal doors. With a howl that ran raw in his throat-- he strained with all his might attempting to pull the doors to the bridge apart. The pressure and tension in his frame facilitated the hematoma forming in the subarachnoid space of his brain, the extra pressure creating a cerebellar midline shift.
images-5.jpeg
The cords and veins his in arms bulged as he pulled.

He strained against the door with all his might he had left. He had to get in.

Gabriel Jurado

Gabriel was overcome by curiosity, and looked up from his seat to see who he was traveling with. Out of the other seven people, mostly party goers (some drunk,) one stood out. She was a cyborg. He'd never seen one before, and she looked like she could kill him. Better not mess with her, thought Gabriel. Then suddenly, somebody launched the pod, jolting him out of his thoughts. He gritted his teeth as he was pressed back against his seat, and clasped his hands around the armrests. He closed his eyes and tried to take deep breaths. He hated this. He'd never liked the idea of space travel, he'd only boarded the Sunset Horizon to find Asher Knowles.

This was what Gabriel had been afraid of. Something going wrong, the ship crashing. That's why he never wanted to fly in space, but it wasn't like he could just let the murderer of his father walk around freely. Why'd this have to happen now? Why on this trip? Why when I was here? he thought. Then he told himself to stop being so selfish. He had to do this, no matter what obstacles stood in his way. So he needed to tough this out. But then he saw something out the window that turned his stomach over. Lasers shot through space, destroying escape pods in bright explosions, and blasting scorch marks into the Sunset Horizon's hull. I thought things couldn't be worse, he thought miserably, but boy, was I wrong.

Great. Now he was probably going to be incinerated. The perfect way to end the day. Although, that might mean that Asher would be killed as well. Gabriel took comfort in knowing if he died, the horrible person who'd killed his father and sister would most likely die as well. He'd want to go down knowing there was one less awful person in the universe. But that didn't mean Gabriel wanted to die. He didn't. Even though his father and sister were dead and his mother was insane, it wouldn't help them for him to die. And also all the poor people in the pods who were just on the ship to go on vacation didn't deserve to die.

After what seemed like an eternity of sitting miserably and hoping he wouldn't die, the pod reached the atmosphere of Vega Delphi Prime. Gabriel hadn't opened his eyes since he'd seen the lasers, and he wasn't planning to anytime soon. He just hoped with all his heart that this terrible experience in a cramped pod with seven other people would end very soon. After an unbearably bumpy ride, the escape pod crashed to the ground. He heard groans coming from the people around him. He didn't want to have to talk, but he decided that these were the people he'd have to survive on a planet with, and he might as well know if they were injured or worse, dead.
"Is everybody okay?" Gabriel asked.

It seems that the situation Lucy had calculated was much worse than anticipated. Currently, it seemed that the vessel she was aboard was under attack? This was not a situation Lucy was not in shape or prepared for. What was needed is to reach an escape pod, Scanning through the files on the tablet she was within Lucy was quickly able to a find a detailed map of the ship. The Sunset Horizon, this was nothing more than a pleasure vessel, it was not hard to find the fastest route to an escape pod.

The ship shakes again as The Sunset Horizon is torn through again, its hull like wet paper compared to the weaponry. Lucy readied a file explaining the fastest route to their safety to the human that was holding her. "Dear human I hope that you can follow the simple plans I have sent to you, unfortunately, your life depends on it," Lucy said through her limited speaker hoping that she could hear it over the inevitable destruction of the ship. "When we arrive at the pod make sure to plug me in, the batterie life is low and It will allow me to safely pilot out of the weapons range"

Having managed to get to a escape pod Sandra stand down particularly annoyed with everyone incompetent well at least the stupid rushing.. but what else could you expect from drunks. then there was this one guy staring at her Sandra would giving him a death glare “what Are you looking at? haven’t ya seen a cyborg before, or is it just how much of me is mechanical” she‘d snap at him just beforw the escape pod got launched and looking out the window... just great they where getting shot at Sandra sighed deeply she expected to go out like this shot by a laser though she more expected it to be some corporate thugs “guess I’m dying surrounded by idiots“ she quietly mumbled “been a good run then hey Sandra?” dray reply with a somewhat sad tone

Whack!

Raven's eyes widened at the sight in front of her. The impact of the lead pipe to Danny's head was so loud, Raven could only imagine how much it hurt. Was that guy carrying a lead pipe this entire time?

"Hey, what do you think you're doing?!" She rose from her seat, gritting her teeth, but was immediately pulled back down and restrained by the other passengers. The scene further escalated as the same man pushed the hockey player out of the pod and sent their pod flying into space before anyone else had a chance to do anything. "Let me go!" She cried out loud, struggling to be set free. Was he going to make it out alive? Or was he going to go down with the ship? Raven felt a twinge of guilt as they got further away from him, he had been punished for securing an escape pod for them.

The chaos further ensued as multiple lasers shot through other pods and parts of the cruise ship. She watched in horror as the other capsules were set on fire and plunged into annihilation. Her heart sank deeper and deeper, she didn't understand what was happening anymore, Raven felt numb from the sensory overload. Raven's hand found Lucius' one more time. This is it, she thought before Raven shut her eyes...

Dan muttered something under his breath when they spotted other escape pods launching from the ship, ensuring the safety of other passengers. However, his breath hitched when he saw one blow up. And then two. And then three. He looked at Rex who was focused on not getting hit by one of the lasers. But an escape pod can only do so much maneuvering. Those lasers were designed to bring down much larger ships and an escape pod was not something that could easily escape once the lasers were truly locked on.

"This shouldn't be happening." Dan muttered under his breath as he looked back at the gruesome scene. The ship seemed to be the main target of the lasers so only a few pods were being picked off, and not all the lasers were hitting immediately. That meant they had a chance to get to the planet without being blown to pieces, but that was just up to chance.. and Rex's ability.

"Someone must have tampered with the targeting array of the defense mechanism." Rex responded, though in a much lower voice so none of the passengers would overhear. Though Rex was aware that this was a worrying scenario for Dan, as it means that someone had successfully hacked their way into the systems to shoot an innocent bypassing ship. Though Rex did think that perhaps, with a malfunction of this grand size and hopefully a distress signal was sent out, HQ would have picked up on it and their imminent rescue would be soon. However, he needed to steer the pod past the asteroids to be safe.

By some grand miracle, they had sped past the lasers and into the atmosphere. Now this proved to be another challenge. The pods were made to sustain the impact of crashing, as well as surviving the burn up caused by the atmosphere, but he had to make sure the course was correct so that they didn't end up in the middle of the ocean or anything like that. With all systems still active, he could still slow down the crash to make it smoother for the passengers and hopefully no one would get a concussion from it.

The pod began to shake violently but Rex wasn't prone to the anxious thoughts that could invade a pilot's mind - his only goal was to successfully land and that's what he would do.

Araña ran. She ran, as quickly as she could. This ship was absolutely going down, no mistake of it. She unzipped her dress as she got to her room, looking behind her, expecting to see Sayo go into the room next to hers. He had to already be in there, right? She couldn't have lost him? She realized she didn't have any time to delay and headed into her own room, ripping off that stupid dress. Her eyes rolled as she heard the tablet speak to her. Nothing surprising with that - this was the future, after all.

"Okay, yes, I know my life depends on it. Here." She placed the tablet on a wireless charger, hooked up to the ship, while she handled her own business. "Can you get a map of where we're landing?"

This fucking dress. She thought this dress was going to be cute, a perfect thing to wear. Now here she was, rushing to put back on her usual clothes, grabbing the jacket her father had given her. If she'd been more prepared instead of trying to look good to impress others, maybe she would have been, instead of running around the way she was now.

Fucking embarrassing.

"Hope you've got that map?" Ana asked the tablet, sliding on her boots. At least that might give them a leg up with everything going on. She heard a door nearby open, and hoped it was Sayo, and Sir Kent, getting out. Okay, she was ready. And they had no time left.

Ana grabbed the tablet, making sure her small gun was still secure in her jacket pocket, as she checked out the map of the ship the tablet had procured. Okay, okay. She could follow this. She could get out of here.

And so she headed to an escape pod, rushing as quickly as she could.

Stupid.

Lucius was still a little dazed, everything didn't feel real, then it hit him, or more accurately hit Danny, the lead pipe cracked down into his head, Lucius snapped out of his daze into a rage, before hearing a cry "Let me go!" Natalia yelling from her seat,

Lucius took a deep breath, trying to calm his adrenaline, just like they taught him in the academy, he sat down next to Natalia his eyes shooting daggers at the man, then he felt something touch his hand, Natalia was holding onto him, he could feel the fear in her grip, first now did he notice the lasers, shooting down other pods, Lucius felt afraid, why? he had tried simulated scenarios like this before, he looked over at Natalia her eyes shut close, he felt even more worried.

Lucius had spotted where the two men that had assaulted Danny were sitting, once they had landed he was ready, no one takes his entertainment.

Natalia Amilie Reaves and Isabelle "Belle" Carter

Natalia’s eyes watched over the pod’s status at the screen to be sure if everything was okay. She looked over at one screen to check their trajectory until the ship rocked once again. “Shit.” The woman muttered under her breath, clutching hard at whatever she could. She got a glimpse of what was happening by the window and saw that other pods were being ejected and were being shot.

Is everyone okay? Ms. Carter?” She turned around to look at the group, unfamiliar faces and surely she had seen them at least once but only by a passing glance. After the shuddering of the pod, Natalia was quick to take off her straps and her jacket to wear the shirt that Belle had given her without a care of the people that were or could be watching her change.

On the other hand, the usually chatty attendant found herself lost at the sight of the falling Sunset Horizon. It has long been her dream to serve in such a magnificent ship, and she was more than elated when she received the news that her dream was coming true. So, watching it fall apart was heartbreaking to say the least.

T-That wasn’t supposed to happen…” She whispered, lips quivering as she pressed a hand against the pod’s window. “They shouldn’t be shooting the ship or the escape pods! They are all verified and authorized vessels- I can bet my life for this!” There was an understandable amount of alarm in her voice.

Opposite to the attendant, Natalia remained calm at the situation. Someone needed a cool head and she did so as best as she could. Like Belle, she didn’t understand why the defense system of the planet was attacking them. “Doesn’t matter.” She said flatly, “Whether it’s true or not it doesn’t change the fact that it’s attacking us. It sees us as the enemy.” She said strapping herself back.

The young woman’s brain was scrambling for possible solutions, but nothing is coming to mind as of yet. They needed a way out of this situation or else they’d be in big trouble. “Look, just no matter what happens we’ll get out of this mess. Together.” She said to Belle just to reassure her seeing how in distress the older woman is.

Like hell that helped! Belle couldn’t stop herself from thinking as she kept the worried look on her face. This was no wishy-washy romance story where one of the leads assured the other that everything was going to be fine and it magically really became fine. No! This was a real life situation, and they were crashing straight to an uninhabited planet. Who knows what kind of man-eating creatures can be found there!?

Nevertheless, Belle remembered her training and her exterior immediately eased. She calmed down, making it seem like it was all thanks to Natalia’s words. “You’re right, ma’am. I’m sorry for freaking out.” Even though it was absolutely understandable seeing that they were on the verge of, well, potential DEATH!

Well, thankfully, Sunset Horizon is equipped with the right technology so I bet the surrounding stations already picked up its distress signal. Help will arrive as soon as we land!” She added, an unfaltering grin on her face.

To be honest, Natalia didn't expect that speech to work on the attendant but she had calmed down and the end result was all that mattered. That was one less person worrying about their situation but needless to say the older woman’s words were met with deaf ears as she saw a blaster changing targets and seeming into their way.

The younger woman’s hands were quick to react. Her attention shifted solely to the pod, ready to steer as best as she could. “Make sure that you all hold on to something, it’s gonna be bumpy.” She said to everyone before turning off the autopilot and steering the pod away from the blaster’s line of fire. She wasn’t the best at it, but she got past the asteroid and the lasers with great effort.

Now that they were entering the atmosphere, Natalia turned the autopilot back on and held on what she could as the pod began to shake violently as they awaited for their fate.

The pod entered the atmosphere of the planet, hurtling at high speeds until some thrusters fired off, slowing the descent, followed by a parachute as the pod landed somewhat gently on the ground. As soon as they landed, everyone had taken off of their belts and hopped outside. Among the cooking staff, the man with the pipe, still held on tightly, watching Raven and Lucius while the others surveyed the area around the pod.

The pod looked to have landed in the middle of a large grassy field. To the South is a beach leading to the ocean. To the East is a large mountain. To the West is a large, dark forest and to the North is continued grassy field.

Inside a container in the pod would be a medical medical kit, a handful of water bottles and some rations.

The pod started shaking violently as they breached the atmosphere of the planet. The thrusters began to fire in order to slow down their descent, but one of them cut out too quickly, leading to the pod still falling at a heavy speed, even after the parachute was deployed. The pod slammed down a bit harder than intended. Luckily, the straps tightly held everyone in place.

After giving a few moments to recover, most of them removed their straps.
The worried looking Middle aged man holding a suitcase tightly to his chest immediately ran outside and emptied the contents of his stomach onto the ground. The Middle aged woman with long flowing Auburn hair, wearing a fancy looking dress, carrying a black pocket book took the young boys hand wearing the expensive clothing and pulled him into a heavy embrace. The young boy looked more confused than anything. The young girl about fourteen in a yellow sun dress with a matching wide brimmed hat to go with it, stayed strapped into her seat and looked scared.

Outside was a dark forest, where the sounds of chittering could be heard as monkey like creatures waited while looming in the trees.

Through careful steering by Rex, the pod landed in the field near the base of a large mountain. The jets fired to slow their descent with their parachutes aiding in decreasing it further for improved suitability of the occupants. As staff members, they would know that there was a survival kit in the pod. It contained a handful of water bottles, some rations, and a medical kit.

To the West is a large, open, grassy field.

After the landing, Robin's grandparents took a hold of him and hugged him tightly. "Are you alright, Robin?", said his grandmother.

His grandfather spoke up to the employees, "Thank you for helping us get to an escape pod. Do you know if there is anywhere that we should go for rescue? Or should we just wait here in the pod?"

The pod landed relatively gently down onto the ground. As the others recovered from the landing itself, Gabriel had asked is everyone was alright. The attractive woman with the red pocket book spoke up in a soft spoken voice. "I think that we're alright. What about you?"

The seedy looking man merely grunted as everyone got out of the pod. Outside was a gorgeous beach that looked as though it had never been despoiled by human hands. In the water, strange bright green small crab looking creatures could be seen watching them, clicking their pinchers.

To the North is a large grassy field that looks like it extends that way for miles at least. To the East is a large mountain. To the West is a large, dark, forest.

Lucy successfully down loaded the map that she wanted from the ships computers and Ana began to run to look for an escape pod.

At the same time, Anzi was swept up in a crowd, trying to also locate an escape pod.

Suddenly the ship began to lurch hard to the right, causing many people to fall over. Many immediately scrambled up and took off in random directions. A man helped Anzi up. "Come on, this way." He led him down a hallway where there was a nearly full escape pod ready for them.

Ana, managed to find that same pod, which after she got inside of and strapped herself in, was launched. Looking outside of the windows, anyone would be able to see that the Sunset Horzion was leaning heavily to the forward right as it was being shot at by lasers. Some other pods were getting hit by lasers as well, causing them to explode in a brilliant fashion.

Danny managed to make it to the doors that opened up to the bridge and was trying to open the heavy and quite thick doors. Unfortunately, he wasn't making any progress, straining his muscles. A voice called out from behind him. "Oh, Danny. Tsk, tsk, tsk. You'll hurt yourself doing that. And besides, you wouldn't want to open yourself up to the vacuum of space, now would you?"

Before Danny could properly respond or turn around, he could feel a needle enter his neck and as he was blacking out, he could hear the voice speak once more. "Don't worry Danny, you still have an important roll to play."

Danny woke up in an escape pod, surrounded by destroyed robots. Going outside of the pod, he would find himself deep in a a very dark forest. On the ground were more destroyed robots and one that was picking up robot pieces and putting them into a bag.

Gabriel Jurado

As Gabriel fumbled for words to try to apologize to the angry and offended cyborg, somebody responded to his question.

"I think that we're alright. What about you?" He looked up to see that a fancily dressed woman with a red pocket book had asked the question.

"Oh, um, yeah, I think I'm fine. Just a few scrapes and bruises." he responded awkwardly. He heard a loud grunt come from one of the passengers as people started to unstrap themselves and get up. Somebody pressed a button on the control panel at the front of the pod, and with a mechanical hiss, the door to the pod slid down and became a ramp for the passengers to climb down from. After a moment he realized, feeling embarrassed, that he was the only person in the pod that was still sitting down. He quickly unbuckled himself and climbed down the ramp. The view took his breath away. They had landed on a beautiful beach, with gentle waves washing up on the shore.
"Well, well, well," Gabriel mumbled jokingly, "we're going on vacation after all!" He raised an eyebrow when he noticed a few green crab-like creatures walking along the beach sideways. Great, alien crabs, he thought, how could this vacation get any better? He sighed. He needed to stop kidding around and start thinking about what they needed to do. They needed to set up camp somewhere, although some could probably sleep in the escape pod. And also, he didn't know much about the planet, and who knew what kind of creatures might live there. He shook his head, trying to push the morbid thoughts from his mind. If he was going to survive out here, he needed to not spend his time thinking about getting killed.

Gabriel turned around to take in all of his surroundings. The beach was surrounded by mountains, a forest, and a long, wide field. If we're going to build a shelter, he thought, the best place to start would be the woods. But it would be easy to get lost... so we would have to stick to where we can see the beach. But then again, we probably won't be able to finish a shelter today, so I guess it would make the most sense to all sleep in our seats in the escape pod for tonight, and worry about a shelter tomorrow. He took a deep breath, and decided he'd voice his plan to the other passengers.

"I think we should all sleep in the pod tonight. We won't be able to get a shelter set up by nightfall." Gabriel announced.

Dan let out a heavy sigh of relief as the pod touched down without issue. He laid his head back against his seat, closing his eyes as if going into deep thought. They had just landed on a hostile planet - they didn't even dare touch down for the tourists in this place. The pod also didn't have anything that would be useful to fending off aggressive beasts.

Rex removed his belt and began to move around the cabin. He grabbed the emergency supplies and rechecked what it contained. There was enough to feed the occupants for likely a few days, more if they were to ration it. He zipped it up back again and slung it across his shoulders. He figured it would be for the best if he were to safeguard it for now.

Dan finally snapped out of his thoughts and removed his own belt. "Is anyone hurt?" He called out before looking at the old man. "There aren't any emergency places for us to go to in this planet, as far as I know." He looked towards Rex for confirmation.

"There are two research facilities in the planet." Rex responded after using what was left of his data banks. "I do not know their exact location."

Dan let out a grunt. As much as he wants to seem more collected than he is, he wasn't exactly well equipped for something like this. 'We can try hiding out in the pod to wait for rescue, but with how the defense system seemed to be on the fritz, it might take a while."

"I can detect where the other pods have landed." The robot pointed out. "We can track down other possible survivors and meet up with them. There is a higher chance of survival with a bigger group against predators." Rex tilted his head, as if showing doubt. "Of course, this opens up more possibilities to infighting and supply shortage."

Dan spread his arm towards Rex to prevent him from continuing. "That can be the case, but we need all the help we can get. Maybe someone in the other pods know where the research facilities are. Rex, take a look outside and see where's the closest pod." Dan ordered before heading over to grab the flare gun and its ammunition and counting them.

"Roger that." Rex opened the door to the pod before taking a cursory glance outside to scan for any life forms. Once he deemed that it was safe, he stepped out of the pod to try and locate where the nearest distress signal was being broadcasted off of.

Danny opened his eyes, blearily focusing on the robot moving about before him.

"Hey rust bucket get me some beer." Danny rasped

His hands clawed in the dirt as he pulled himself along the ground toward the metal man.
