Having spent nearly the entirety of his young life in the entertainment industry, it's no suprise Monty is as jaded as he is. While naturally charismatic and beguilingly charming when needed, he often comes off a bit stoic and aloof, preferring to keep his real life emotions under wraps to appear cool and collected at all times. He does have a short fuse and can be quite irritable however, at times even difficult for the crew and fellow actors to work with.

    Raised in Brooklyn, new York by a single mother who struggled with drug addiction, Leon's childhood was far from the easiest. If you ask him, though, he'd never complain about it and seems to love his mother dearly. Growing up in the big city meant being constantly aware of the possibilities the world had to offer, and being aware that it predominantly offered possibilities to those with money, fame, or connections. Having none of these meant acting was never supposed to be in the cards for Leon. Truth be told, he's still not really sure how he got here, but he is determined to make the most of it.

    The adjective most people would immediately use to describe Leon would be eccentric. His interests are broad and a little strange, and he'd be a little off putting to some if it weren't for his infallible confidence and charm. Where exactly it comes from he isn't sure, but he's not one to doubt himself and dives head first into every decision he makes. His high level of impulsivity may have something to do with this as he tends to not give most of his actions anywhere near enough thought.
    He's never been one for routine and much prefers spontaneity, though his work ethic and drive means he's an extremely reliable castmate. It also helps that he's a remarkably laidback dude and everything rolls off of him like water. He thinks its a better use of energy to simply adapt to life's curveballs than to resist them. His childhood taught him the art of navigating the eye of the storm and helping others get through it as well.


    the virtues.

    eclectic

    He draws inspiration from all sorts of sources spanning various decades. His largest source of inspiration, namely for his stylistic choices, would be the 1980s rock and punk, though he often mixes trends from other decades into his outfits. The same can be said for almost everything he does, including his acting. He's a master of making these various inspirations fit seamlessly in his fashion choices, and is hoping to be able to do the same with his acting.

    open-minded

    Passing judgement on other people, especially ones he isn't very close to, is something he isn't fond of. He much prefers listening to everyone's opinions and ideas and come to a mutual consensus, especially in a group environment. He aspires to make sure everyone feels welcome and heard whenever he can.

    adaptable

    This is something he prides himself on - his chameleon-like ability to blend in with his environment and do what's needed of him to be successful. He doesn't let new demands phase him and comes up with creative ways to meet them. He's often willing to put aside his own comfort for the sake of meeting what's expected of him. Unexpected situations and circumstances are met with a grin and a willingness to be overcome no matter what's necessary.

    calm

    That level of adaptability requires a certain level of calmness that Leon has found imperative to his survival and his growth. Wasting energy on worrying or getting mad doesn't appeal to him, and it often irks him just slightly when those around him are unable to remain level-headed. As such, he's also mastered the art of helping others regain composure in intense, high-stress situations.

    Though this wasn't true during his youth and would shock anyone who knew him then, Leon has an incredible work ethic and commitment to his craft. He hates the idea of letting down his castmates and the crew members and would hate to extend their already long work hours. He's a remarkably trustworthy friend and can keep a secret like no other.

    He doesn't fully feels as though he belongs amongst all the glitz and glam quite yet. Sure, he adores the attention but constantly questions whether or not he truly deserves it. He has moments of self-doubt regularly and finds himself in dark spots mentally as a result. It also leads to some issues connecting with castmates and doubts regarding how they may truly feel about him.

    impulsive

    Fully thinking things through is not his strong suit. He's a menace during interviews because you can never really be sure what he's going to say. Honestly, he doesn't even know what he's going to say half the time. Even when there's a script prepared, the chance his mouth runs faster than his brain is high. Aside from words, the same is true for his actions. He's known to find himself in rather precarious situations because he decided to follow his whims without considering potential consequences.

    noncommittal

    He can be a little wishy washy with his commitments, often not being fully clear about his intentions or opinions. He's terrified of saying the wrong thing to the wrong person and messing it all up. So, he prefers to say little and remain stoic. He also has a deep fear of committing to things that may or may not work out, and has never been in a serious relationship. Most of his relationships, platonic or otherwise, are kept at arm's length.

    bad habits

    Despite his best efforts to clean up his act, Leon still struggles with the vices he picked up during childhood. He's a chainsmoker and fond of marijuana, though he has managed to give up most other substances. He just hopes his past doesn't come back to bite him when he's trying so hard to move on from it.

    self-deprecating

    Feeling like he doesn't deserve these opportunities and having doubts about how others view him leads him to view himself in a rather negative light. The unwavering confidence he portrays is as manufactured as his hairstyle. He's deeply insecure and known to put himself down. One of the more annoying consequences of this would be the constant doubt regarding his performances on set.

    likes.

    He adores music from the 80s and 90s, as well as the general vibe of the time period.
    He loves mingling and networking.
    His favorite movie is Rebel Without a Cause, though his favorite movie genre is horror.
    He loves visual arts and going to museums.
    Spontaneous plans are his favorites.
    His favorite TV show is either The Good Place or Shameless US.
    He thrives off of attention, both good and bad.

    dislikes.

    Strict routines make his skin crawl.
    The sight of blood makes him super queasy.
    He absolutely despises all sorts of seafood besides fried calamari.
    People that can't let go and relax are not his type.
    Similarly, people that can't match his energy and vibe.
    He can't stand repeating himself more than twice.
    Feeling unseen makes him want to act out.
    People that were born into money often piss him off.




    the style.

    His primary acting inspirations are James Dean, Jared Leto, and Tony Todd. Well, those are some of his favorite actors to watch, at least. He admires James Dean's ability to weave in his own life and experiences into his roles, granting the characters he played more life and honestly revolutionizing acting as a whole. The same goes to Jared Leto, who Leon knows to take method acting to a new extreme and become fully immersed in the world of his characters. As for Tony Todd, he honestly just admires his performance in Candyman and considers it one of the greatest horror movie villain performances of all time.

    His specific acting style is a little more undefined given his limited background. He hopes to refine himself with time. As of now, he considers himself an amateur employer of Stanislavski's System, relying on his own feel and understanding for his character to carry out his performance. He spends a lot of time contemplating what his character would do if presented with certain situations and does his best to then dissect his imagined scenarios.

    the character.

    Samuel "Sami" Moore, 17
    Sami is something of a bad boy, with the tattoos and don't care attitude to prove it. Or at least, that's what he wants the world to think. Sami wants to be perceived as a tough guy with nothing to lose, so he's carefully crafted a persona to prevent others from wanting to get too close to him. If they get too close, they might start asking questions he doesn't exactly want to answer. He's also carefully crafted answers to those potential questions:
    What do your parents do? Dad's an architect, mom's a defense lawyer. Do you have any siblings? Nope, just me. Do you wanna go out? Don't wanna break your heart, love.
    And the list goes on. He desperately wants to fit in and feels as though there's no way he'd be able to if anyone really knew him and where he came from. He's been at the school since freshman year on scholarship but has maintained a rich kid facade since his arrival. He's the oldest of five children and his parents haven't really held down jobs since he was in elementary school.
    He gets attached way too easily and as such has decided to make as little attachments as possible. This has left him feeling lonely and the weight of his homelife, both the real and fake, are starting to get to him. He's desperately trying not to fall behind academically or socially, but feels as though he's starting to sink.

    the talents.

    Leon has been playing the guitar for as long as he can remember and has added drums, bass, and piano to his repertoire in recent years.
    He is fantastic at making connections with people due to his ability to read others and adapt accordingly. It definitely helps that he just loves talking.
    Capturing others' attention is one of his strong suits.
    He can run, like, scary fast.
    He has an impeccable and unique sense of style, and can be creative with makeup application and ideas.
    He's got a tattoo license back home in New York, and is currently working on registering with the State of California.
    Along the same vein, he's an incredible artist.

Bexley Sloane Jayde was born on April 6, 1998 in Houston, Texas to Effie Jayde, her father is unknown. Three years later in July of 2000, her sister Onyx was born, they share the same mother, but different fathers. Later on in 2005, the three moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, this is where they would reside for the majority of Bexley's life up until she started college. She moved to Los Angeles in 2016 and attended the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising graduating with a degree in Film & TV Costume Design in 2020, she took on many roles as a costume designer for commercials, movies, and television shows. She was getting by on smaller movies and shows, but when Flash Films called her about creating the outfits for their TV show "Icebound", she couldn't help but accept.
