You must give specific examples of how the power can be used and countered. The counters have to be reasonably accessible to other players AND tied directly to the power.
So do not say a counter is kryptonite or personality trait like shy for instance. As kryptonite is incredibly rare and not something most players would have access to.
An example of bad op would be a feline hero To counter his bad luck ability is lack of eye contact. So cover or remove his eyes and it doesn’t work.
[B]Do this instead:[/B] a player comes up with a power that has to have some kind of personality trait counter make sure they give alternate counters as well. Just so the other players have some way to counter the power without having to rely on the player to counter the power themselves in a fight.
