  • 84177bdbe34cd44d6d116049b27895bc.png

    Age: 20

    Mercuria.600.232407.jpg

    Kingdom: Sasuren

    Stone: Amethyst

Ability: Can read and understand ancient language. Every time she reads ancient script though, she gets hypnotized and faints for the words aren’t always meant for the eyes of mortals.

Personality: Very much the scholar, Noirin is very reserved and quiet. She loves to read and meditate. She hates conflict and doesn’t like fighting at all, but is loyal and if she feels anyone is threaten, she will rise up to the occasion. Does not like going to royal or nobility events like balls for she feels they are a waste of time. She will go if her parents want her to though for she has a lot of respect for them.

History: Noirin was born and raised on Sasuren, in the capital city itself. She is the middle child of 5 with two older brothers and two younger sisters. Her family is of the nobility and her father works in the Royal Observatory. Her mother was originally from Ajna but found the kingdom’s culture too simple for her taste and moved to Sasuren where she met Noirin’s father. Her mother is a clairvoyant and does tarot readings. Because of this she always volunteers her services at the Annual Festival every year and this year Noirin will be attending for the first time in years, which she is nervous about because she doesn’t like big crowds. She's only gone to the Festival once when it was in Sasuren when she was 11 when her grandmother made her go. She avoided going last year due to getting sick.

  • Name:
    Jian Ishikawa

    Age:
    22

    Image:
    1661867086823.png1661867109093.png

    Kingdom:
    Vinsumi

    Skills:
Jian was trained in many arts from birth. While he focuses mainly on martial skills such as swordsmanship and The Way of the Bow, he is also great at leadership and communication, befitting the prince of Vinsumi. Diplomacy is extremely important for the kingdom and while Jian thinks he is excellent in that regard, his family would think otherwise. Caligraphy is a favored pastime for the man, his works often being hung around the Royal Palace for others to gaze upon them. As a prince of the Ishikawa family, he was also instructed at a young age to learn an instrument of his choice. He chose the Erhu for its soft and non-threatening tone.

    Weapon(s):
A slightly larger-than-average bow with arrows strapped to his back and a katana blade at his side. He also has a tanto hidden away somewhere in his robes though almost never brings it out.

    Personality:
Jian can come off as cold and unattached to reality. As a general, he was trained solely to never let emotion rule him on the battlefield. Unfortunately, that seems to have bled over to off the battlefield as well. He can become chatty when discussing military tactics, weapons, or some of his pastimes (music, calligraphy, hunting), but most of the time he will stay quiet and simply observe. Diplomacy is not his strong suit, though he may disagree. People find Jian to be quite off-putting and usually seek either his brother or even his younger sister when needing to deal with trade or civil issues. Because of this, Jian has never held court which is almost unheard of. A true perfectionist, Jian gets annoyed when everything doesn't fall into place just as he planned.

Despite all this, Jian understands he is a part of the Ishikawa family. He still puts all of his efforts into upholding the ideals of the kingdom, favoring to communicate first and foremost, along with putting himself in the sandals of other people, ignoring status and place of birth. His name, Jian Ishikawa, means strong and healthy (Jian) stone river (Ishikawa), and he understands that his parents named him thus, looking forward to the strength he would bring to the kingdom of rivers and valleys.

    History:
Born the second son of the Ishikawa royal line, Jian's "fate" was sealed upon birth. It is tradition for the firstborn to be crowned the title of continuing the royal line and thus, it would be his brother, Han, to become emperor next. The next male to be born would be trained in the military arts primarily, along with any other arts that would help distinguish a person and help character. The next female, his little sister, would be trained in the arts of diplomacy and trade, often (but not always) being married off to another royal family to secure stronger ties. Since a child, Jian always strove to be the very best in every field he took part in. A perfectionist at heart, he would throw temper tantrums if anything had gone wrong. While his tantrums died down to scoffs of annoyance, his 'perfect' attitude stuck. At the age of 18, Jian finally became an official general in the military. He took command of a small battalion used primarily for striking first and escaping moments later, a guerilla warfare unit if you will. Now age 22, Jian is attending the 7-day festival as his father always insists upon his children, as a show of goodwill.

  • Name: Hallbjorn Osbjornsen

    Age: 22

    Image:

    1661875490922.png

    Kingdom: Ajna

Skills: Dual Bearded Ax fighting style, grappling, hunting, climbing, enduring cold weather.

Weapon(s): Two bearded axes, several daggers, a short sword, and a smaller throwing hatchet.

Personality: A rather blunt man, he doesn't mince words. He is kind and generous, but also wants to see those he helps put effort into succeeding. His mother died fighting a cave troll that was trying to eat him when he was younger, so he vowed to become stronger to defeat anything that might threaten those that he sworn to protect. He became adept at traversing the mountainsides, and at one point was fanatical in hunting trolls, gremlins, bears, and other creatures that preyed on the sturdy people of the north. He tempered his body to adapt to the freezing climate and can last days without food before weakening. He has no desire of power, but of protecting those under his care. He hasn't traveled out of his country, unlike his older brother, and so is quite ignorant of the other cultures.

History: He's the third son of the current King, King Osbjorn the fourth, and the strongest of them. His mother died protecting him from a cave troll, and that spurred his life of hunting and growing stronger. Becoming a rather famed hunter, he would travel all throughout the kingdom, helping villages that were being terrorized by creatures that the hunters couldn't kill from fear. He is rather fearless, but has learned caution from several near death fights. He has grown to respect the creatures of the north, their hardiness and strength coming from the brutal environment. His zealousness to kill them has dimmed down significantly, and now desires to fine a way to live with them having learned that trolls are pretty sentient, about the level of a 10 yr old human.

Stella Ainsley

41329_eiOVK7rC.png

Age:
18

Kingdom: Puran

Stone: Citrine

Ability: The Citrine stone has granted Stella the ability to fly. She is capable of taking off at will and flying as she wishes (taking physical limitations into account, such as air pressure). This can be quite exhausting if she flies for long periods of time or flies too high, and pushing herself too far can cause her to require a long rest or even lose consciousness.

Personality: Stella's boundless enthusiasm and vigor have endeared her to those around her. She has an overwhelming amount of energy, and walks through life with a smile that can light up any room. To those around her, it seems that nothing can shake her positive outlook and love for the world around her.

Stella approaches life with no concept of "look before you leap". She's always eager to help or try something new, and doesn't often consider the risks that it might pose. She's headstrong and confident, and rarely hesitates to rethink her actions - which often leads her into trouble.

Like the rest of Puran, Stella is incredibly ambitious and driven. Unfortunately, she... doesn't quite know what she wants to do with that ambition yet. She finds it difficult to think about dedicating her entire life to just one thing.

Stella's constant positive demeanor isn't always genuine. She sometimes takes her positivity to an unhealthy extreme - denying the reality of a situation and putting aside her struggles, all while keeping her characteristic smile on her face. In her eyes, what she feels is far less of a priority than keeping others happy. If the people around her are not happy, she feels that she's failing.

History: Stella has had a rather simple upbringing. She grew up in Hawkhurst as an only child. Her parents were loving, but often seemed more focused on their professions and ambitions than her. As a result, she spent a lot of time on her own.

As she grew older, she began to feel pressure from the people around her to start thinking forward. She was in her teenage years and seemingly had not even thought about what her future held. In Puran, most people knew what they wanted to do with their lives from a very young age. Stella, on the other hand, had so many things that she enjoyed doing - but had never found anything that she really wanted to dedicate her whole life to.

Shortly after she came of age, her parents made the decision to remove her from their home. Being very ambitious people, they saw it as a large problem that their daughter seemingly had no ambition at all. They told Stella that they loved her, but this was for her own good.

Stella would be lying if she said she didn't feel a little bit of resentment. It wasn't her fault that she hadn't planned out her entire life by the age of eighteen - it certainly wasn't for lack of trying. Regardless, she didn't express these emotions to anyone. She kept smiling and pushing forward, and no one around her realized anything was wrong. She lived as an adventurer for a few months, hoping that on her journeys she'd find something to dedicate herself to.

When the festival was announced, Stella made the decision to venture to Mulada and attend. She'd never attended a festival before, and she was curious as to what it entailed. Maybe, if she was lucky, there'd be something that interested her there, something that could give her an idea of what she wanted to do going forward. Her hopes would later be fulfilled - but maybe not in the way she expected...

Kajsa Thostenson
23fd2d908e1ffd1e7b9b941a9292f585.jpg

Age: 24
Kingdom: Ajna
Stone: Sapphire

Ability: See over great distances. However, this ability is more helpful during the day than it is at night, as while she can see far it does not mean she can also see in the dark. But if she uses her power too much it'll cause painful migraines and blurred vision for a while.

Personality: Strong and courageous, Kajsa is not one to show fear in the eyes of danger. She allows her instincts to guide her and aid her when it comes to making decisions, stating that her gut feeling as never led her to stray. When she speaks Kajsa does not hinder on telling the truth, whether or not her words are interpreted as blunt or harsh. It is her people's teachings and beliefs that have taught her to search for the truth, as well as preach it, after all. Kajsa does not believe in asking for help, instead she believes that every problem she faces is just a mere challenge to make her stronger. Therefore, she must face them, alone.

History: Kajsa grew up on the far outskirts of Fjell. Born the only child of a metal smith and a warrior, it was only natural for her parents to teach her both craft and skill. Once she was old enough of course. Her mother taught her how to craft jewelry out of the precious metals found within the mountains. That way when she got older, she could make a decent living by selling her wares. Though her father believed that any child of his was going to learn how to fight, regardless if they were boy or girl. So at age 10, Kajsa began her training in part of perfecting her metalsmithing.

At 18, Kajsa had become a skilled fighter who was capable of using every weapon of her motherland without fail, though her metalsmithing was not nearly as perfect. While her mother expressed disappointment that her daughter was more of a fighter than crafter, she had eventually accepted the reality. In truth, this was due in part to not accepting her mother's help when it was offered to her. Believing that she could perfect it eventually, just as she had with her fighting.

During her life within Ajna, Kajsa had travelled outside of her home very rarely. These trips were usually due to her mother attending larger markets found in nearby kingdoms wear she would sell the jewelry she had made to foreigners. While she was not there to help her mother pocket coin, Kajsa was always there on request of her father, to protect her mother while traversing these vast, unfamiliar territories.

The festival in Mulada was no different occasion. It was yet another opportunity for her family to earn decent coin. Except for her father was also in attendance for the festival this year. But that was not the only thing. On this particular occasion her parents wanted to enjoy some of the festivities, something rare for them.

N adia Zahra( "Tender and delicate flower")
Age: twenty(20)
i84rdnzgogp71.jpg
Kingdom:  Mulada

Stone:  Jasper

Ability: She has the ability of enhance strength, super strength really, she's capable of lifting things twice her body height/width/and weight. She can also crush a bolder but anything burger like a mountain in the early stages is impossible. Because she is not used to this ability, when she does use this ability depending on the object and how big it is, she would experience either mild soreness in the arm or be unable to move her arm for a period (6-10 minutes or more)

Personality:  Nadia wouldn't call herself vain, she just places more value on her looks than anything else. In a kingdom where strength is revered, Nadia doesn't find herself fitting within that image, viewing herself to be physically week than the rest of the people of Mulada. That doesn't mean she thinks she is weaker than others, no she places her "strength" in her feminine charms and her ability to draw people in simply by the way she moves or speaks, a simple look could be captivating from this girl. Her charm is her armor, her words her weapons, and her dance her shield. This image of what she thinks is the desirable woman can quickly be shattered once she gets flustered or angered in any way, her low birth starts to show as words become difficult to say, mixing and jumbled up and she often reverts to speaking in her native tongue to express her feelings.

A graceful lady who has been well groomed to be the envy of others in looks and mannerism, a passionate individual who isn't scared of expressing herself when her emotions get the best of her, a scared little girl who cares more about other validation than anything else-these are all Nadia, parts of her that have formed the women she is now. Someone who due to influence judges others' values based on the way they carry themselves, someone who tries her best to keep the perfect image, a dancer.

don't worry though, when she drops her guard and truly lets her true self shine, she turns out to be someone whos down to earth and willing to learn and better herself.

History:  Nadia mother had a dream.  Living within the capital city where opportunities were abundant was seen as a great blessing for most Muladan, not Aisha, no she wished to move further away from the city wall and adventure further into the desert landscape of her home. She longed to do something no one else within her family had done, be something besides the daughter of an old Shoemaker and maid, she wanted to be something more. Every year there was a caravan of wandering entertainers. They would venture to the city to entertain the mass, wonders, and feet of bravery were performed every day for the viewer's pleasure. She had always watched from afar, the graceful figure of the dancers, their cloths of silk swirling about them as they performed traditional Muladan dances. She longed to be there, to be amongst them, moving her hips and arms to tell a story far bigger than herself.

Her parents, of course, had wanted to entertain the idea and for a while they did until it seemed to be more than a childish fancy, they strongly advised her that it wasn't the work for her. If she wished to do something other than their work, she could apply for any job that was within the city. Their point was made clear, she was to stay where they could monitor her. As soon as she turned sixteen, the young girl escaped her home and ran away, joining the caravan that was traveling away from the city.

for many years shelved there what she dreamed, dancing and singing for all those who wish, and she grew to become one of the best. Many Mulan
dan nobles had invited her to entertain their guest, she was a symbol of their wealth. All that stopped though when she met Rodrigo, son of a Muladan Nobel who was taken with her the minute he set his eyes on her. He chased her as any man would a woman he admires, and she played the game, fluttering her eyes at the right moment -drawing him in just to fliter away with a laugh. This lasted for a while, until Rodrigo finally caught his prize. He told her he was going to marry her, and whispered sweet words of love, making her believe in the golden castle dreams she had begun to build. When she got pregnant for him, she was sure that he would marry her. Yet her prince promised to return abandon her and her child and ran away when he was accused of a crime.

she was devastated and cursed the very ground he walked on, alone with her child she returned to her life before. Many nobles seduce her, and many times she fell victim to their honey-coted lies till she finally saw the truth.

She returned to her birth home, returned to her parents, and settled for raising her child the right way. Within the confine of Aisha's home that's where Nadia grew up.

Her mother always stressed the value of looks and bitterness of the life she wished she had she started to push her values onto her child. Training her and grooming her to be the exact image of her former self, her attempt to create the perfect her, to fix any imperfection that she may have had.

Following in her mother's footsteps, Nadia grew to be a graceful figure, well-known belly dancer amongst the nobles, and reveierd beauty within her home. Her mother was proud, enjoying the looks of admiration her daughter caused, which brought her to start thinking of how to achieve the life of a Nobel lady through her daughter. The masquerade ball was seen as an opportunity for both mother and daughter to snag themselves a royal or Nobel.

Damian Harvey-Lottway

1666229952838.png
Age: 19 (Second Prince)

Kingdom: Puran

Skills:
Engineering(Built his engine-powered sword, and dual-firing revolver), Swordsmanship, Intermediate Marksmanship, Banter, Parkour

Weapon(s):
Red Queen (Engine Blade), Blue Rose (Dual-firing Revolver), Smoke Grenades

Personality:
Damian is a pretty well-adjusted kid. Even considering how life is for children in Puran, he still got by with semi-supportive parents and an anti-social older brother. He and his brother have a sort of rivalry going that makes Damian super competitive, driving him to improve in all aspects that it is within his power to do so. He takes pride in his creations and is constantly improving the designs after using them for an extended period. His mother and father are still concerned for him since he hasn't chosen a set route yet for his future but he doesn't let the uncertainty bother him. He is pretty carefree most of the time and really only gets any form of angry when someone insults his family or his family's honour. He is known to try and tinker with things even when he doesn't have any need to just to get an understanding of how things work and see if he can make any improvements. He has a broad sense of humour and mostly cracks jokes to either make people feel better or to throw his opponents off their game.

History:
Damian was born the second son to the King of Puran, Hunter Harvey-Lottway II, and Queen Eva Harvey-Lottway, thus making him the second prince of the heavily advanced kingdom of Puran. He was given everything he could ever want and the education necessary to help him become successful in the future. He isn't the Heir to the throne, no, that role belongs to his older brother Hunter. Since he wasn't expected to succeed the throne, he spent more of his time tinkering with machines and making his own inventions through heavy trial and error.

His first successful product was his sword he dubs "The Red Queen" for the bright red hot colour the blade gets when the attached engine is revved. He didn't just make the sword because he felt like it. He, like his brother, was made to take swordsmanship lessons. He was talented in the art but nowhere near as talented as his brother. Where his brother could slice through thick steel plates, Damian could barely cut through the first few inches. He figured that if he couldn't beat his brother with skill, he would beat his brother with engineering. And so with "The Red Queen," he was able to show he could cut through the same thick steel his brother could by heating the blade, using it to melt the plate all the way through his swing. He has since improved its design to be sleeker and uniform in appearance.

Making His revolver was kind of tricky. And also extremely costly. At first, he looked at rifles and tried to see how they worked and took one apart and analyzed one of the bullets. Once he was sure he had a design ready, he set to work on getting the parts and smithing all the pieces he needed for it to work. Getting the gun itself to work was easy. It was the ammunition that gave him trouble. He asked alchemists, chemists, and other engineers to help make the bullet's formula and ratios. Unfortunately, he had an accident before testing, and his ammunition exploded in the gun, blowing apart the gun and setting off the stockpiles of gunpowder he had made for his experiments. It took him a few years to work on the powder ratio until he finally got a working bullet. Afterward, he set back to work remaking his revolver, but he still used the old parts reforged to make the new weapon. He remembered where he went wrong with the formula and tweaked it down to the most minute variable. He finally got his gun working, and the blue hue of the metal earned the weapon its name, Blue Rose. He took lessons from some of their best marksman in Puran and got proficient enough to be able to use it to defend himself.

His mother and father were concerned for his future, especially after what had happened with the first ammunition experiment, and tried to persuade him to take a safer path in engineering. He instead continued to train his swordsmanship and marksmanship to make his own unique style. He would periodically challenge his brother to sparring matches, and while he continued to lose, he learned tons just from those confrontations. Other nobles look at him as a failure since he still hasn't made a decisive choice on his future profession; meanwhile, the common folk see him as one of them. They love him since he goes down to help out in shops and meets with other engineers to help with their work.

FAMILY:
1666294393544.png

Hunter Harvey-Lottway II

He is a stern man to the people around him and a loving husband and father when with his family. When he was younger he showed the same coolheaded nature his son Hunter has mixed with the same curious and mischievous nature that his youngest Damian possesses. He is extremely competitive and is known to almost take things too far sometimes just for the sake of winning. He like his sons are adept at swordsmanship and martial arts. He was excited to learn that Damian had taken to Engineering as he did when he was younger but concerned when the boy hadn't made a set decision on his future path. He worries for his children but also knows he has to look forward to the future of his kingdom. He tries his best to make decisions fairly by considering the words of his people and the needs of his kingdom.

1666295424519.png
Eva Harvey-Lottway

She is the queen of the Puran Kingdom. She is the loving wife of Hunter Harvey-Lottway II and the mother of Hunter Harvey-Lottway III and Damian Harvey-Lottway. SHe loves her children equally and prays for both the boy's success. With Hunter being the heir to the throne she didn't have to worry about him as much as he was presented a clear goal and had made the decision to pursue the throne with every effort. Damian on the other hand worried her since he never properly proclaimed his future goal when he had turned 10. She would always have someone watching over him from a distance to make sure he wasn't getting into trouble. She does her best to support her husband and king in an effort to help ensure a brighter future for the kingdom.

1666295897977.png
Hunter Harvey-Lottway III

Hunter is the heir to the throne and the most skilled between him and his brother at swordsmanship. He loves his family and his people but keeps his emotions under control to give off the proper feel of a future ruler. He has gained support from many of the nobles and has promised to return the favour when he becomes king after his father. He thinks his brother is wasting time with his pursuits and thinks he should decide on his future before it becomes too late. He believes his brother should just accept his limits and become a high engineer in the city instead of chasing after new inventions and hopeless dreams and ambitions. Hunter trains and studies tirelessly in the effort to become a ruler that surpasses his father and maybe even the founder.
