Once again, Gabby’s day started catastrophically. Damon was being a dick all the time but he was being an exceptional dick after this weekend. Gabby was trying to put her life back together and while she knew that climbing to his bed, to the bed of someone who was considered her step-brother, was wrong on all levels, she could resist only very rarely. Once she fell down that rabbit hole, crawling back up was harder than anyone would assume. But this time, Gabby Rosenberg was determined to actually pull through and straight refused to spend the weekend at their family home alone with Damon. And he was now giving her hell for that.

When she woke up, her phone was flooded with text messages from him and he had all sorts of requirements and since she was not responding to him during the night, the complete retarded dickhead he was, it never occurred to him that it was because she was asleep. Damon thought she was ignoring him so he even deviated to blackmail of telling their parents if Gabby was not a good little servant to him. And when she opened the door, a pile of something fell on her feet. Once again, Damon brought all his dirty laundry over and she was expected to take care of it. Or else…

With a long sigh, Gabby brought the pile inside and dumped it in her part of the closet to take care of it later with her own laundry. There was no way in hell her dad could find out what she was doing and if all it took was washing Damon’s socks, she would gladly do that. Really. “Hate you so much…” she mumbled under her breath and closed the door of her closet, returning back to the room. She grabbed her cosmetic bag and pulled out a tube of soft pink lip gloss, spreading it all over her plump lips. “You ready to go?” she asked her roommate and quite possibly the best friend in the whole world.

“What do you think this whole ruckus is about?” she asked as she grabbed her hat and fixed it on the soft chocolate brown curls of her hair. The girls were apparently ready to leave so gabby held the door for Joanna and they walked out to join the rest of the crowd in the auditorium. There was a shroud of mystery over this whole big important announcement and Gabby was incredibly curious what was going to happen. She looped arms with Jo and the two matched their step as they slowly neared the room.

The before school party hadn't been as big of a disaster as Joanna thought it might be. Thankfully, she had a good time and hadn't really run into her siblings at all. Teddy had been a good person to hang out with, and Gabby had shown up too and Jojo spent time with her. In retrospect, maybe she should have put herself out there a little more, but really, she felt like she'd done that. The outfit she'd worn had been more revealing than anything she'd ever worn before, and hell, she went to the party itself. That right there was a step in the right direction. She wanted to become someone that people recognized, she wanted to be someone who was able to do something they enjoyed. But she couldn't do that by remaining this shy girl who wore t-shirts and sweaters.

Even if that's exactly what she was wearing today. Oops. Lifting her head from her pillow where she'd been wallowing in her own misery, she looked over at Gabby, who looked phenomenal as always. A small smile appeared on her face as she watched the girl move around, stopping in front of the mirror to adjust her hat. "You look fantastic, Gabs." She pushed herself up to a sitting position, watching as she moved away from the mirror and towards the door. A big pile of laundry fell onto Gabby as she opened the door, and Jojo frowned, quirking a brow in her best friends direction. "Again?" She asked, pushing herself up from the bed to a standing position. Slipping her feet in her boots, she nodded when Gabby asked if she was ready to go.

"As ready as I'll ever be." She laughed softly, running her fingers through her hair. Her attempt to put herself out there today was going to be leaving her hair down, but she'd stashed a hair tie in her bag just in case. Just one. Or maybe three. Grabbing said bag from the edge of her bed, she draped the strap over her shoulders and started out of the room with Gabby, towards the auditorium. Morning classes had been cancelled today because of the assembly, so it had to be something pretty important. Or at least, something the administrators thought was important. "What do I think it's about?" She echoed her friends words, another laugh escaping her. "You read my mind. I have absolutely no idea. Something big, though, if they cancelled classes the second week of school."

They reached the auditorium in a decent amount of time, and Jojo pushed open the door, holding it for Gabby as the two entered the room. It swung shut behind them and Jo immediately looked around the room, noting that neither of her siblings were there yet. Like that was a shocker. Tara was probably not even up yet, and Micah needed to make his grand entrance like always. Looking over the few others in the room yet, Joanna nodded towards Ethan. She hadn't talked to him yet this year, but now was as good a time as any. "Come on." Looping her arm through Gabby's, Joanna led them towards where Ethan was sitting, sliding into the seat next to him. "Hey, Ethan. I love the leopard print." She leaned back in her seat, setting her bag down in front of her. "You know Gabby, right?"

Micah had had a grand time at the party, but now things were back to the real world. Not that there weren't parties still going on the weekend. Hell, there'd been one last night, and he was definitely there. Studying could wait. They'd cancelled classes Monday morning for some sort of assembly, which he knew probably wasn't even anything important. But whatever, any excuse not to go to math and history was fine with him. Starhill was a school for the arts, but they still had core classes they had to take, and Micah hated each and every one of them. He wanted to make it big as an actor; what the hell did he need to know about the 18th century for? Damn.

Because he'd partied a little too hard last night, he woke up with a hangover, but thankfully he knew exactly how to cure those. His remedy consisted of two ibuprofens, some water, and a phone call to his woman of the week. She was over pretty quickly, and they had their fun under the sheets of his bed. Now he was kissing her goodbye, biting his lip as he watched her leave before shutting the door behind him. His roommate was gone already, so he didn't even have to worry about getting dressed again. Walking around his dorm room in the nude, he stopped and plopped back on his bed, sprawled out for the world to see. Well, at least he'd shut his door.

He accidentally ended up dozing off again, but his eyes snapped back open a little later. One look at the clock told him he was going to be late if he didn't hurry-- but then again, when did he not like to make an entrance? Wearing his signature smirk, he grabbed a towel and wrapped it around his waist, grabbing his shower stuff and heading for the showers. They weren't busy at this time, so he was able to get in and out fairly quickly. Once he was back in his room, he yanked the towel off and spent another five to ten minutes just walking around naked before he finally pulled some clothes on.

He was definitely going to be late now. But he still didn't hurry as he made his way towards the auditorium, busting open the door with a well aimed kick, because, why not? He grinned as he stepped into the room, but it promptly faded when he saw that there were not many people there. At all. Pulling his phone from his pocket, he glanced at the time, quirking a brow. There was no way he was early, so where the fuck was everyone? Like the administration? The stage was empty, but fuck it, he was already here. With a light groan, he started to walk further into the room, not really looking at the others as he plopped into a seat about halfway into the room. Looking over, he grinned when he saw Mariana. "Hey there, good looking. How you doin'?"

Tara's eyes shot open at the sound of her alarm, her hand immediately shooting out from under the blanket to grab her phone and shut the damn thing up. She pulled it closer once it'd stopped making that incessant blaring alarm noise, looking at the time. Her vision swam as she suddenly dry heaved, throwing the phone aside along with the blanket before she shot out of bed. Grabbing her trash can, she promptly spilled the contents of her stomach into it for a good few minutes before she finally sat back. Christ, it was too early for this. Weren't classes cancelled today? Why the hell was her alarm going off so early?

Fuck, she'd never shut it off the night before because she'd been too busy drinking at the party. With a groan, she moved the trash can into the bathroom to clean up later, crawling back into bed and falling right back asleep. When she opened her eyes again, her hangover wasn't as severe and she could actually function. She cleaned up her mess from earlier, made sure to spray the room, and went to take a shower afterwards. On the way back to her room, she waved at a few other people, but mostly the dorms were empty. Even Mari was gone already, which made Tara wrinkle her nose some.

As if on cue, though, her phone rang with a text message. Opening it up, she saw that it was from the girl in question. Smirking some, she sent back a quick affirmative in the form of a shit ton of emojis that really didn't mean anything at all. Once she'd gotten dressed, she left her dorm and headed for the auditorium, getting lost on the way there and having to double back to find her way. Somehow she'd never learned this place, or maybe she'd just not been paying attention. Whatever. Finally reaching the doors, she opened it with her hip and immediately found Mari.

Making her way towards the girl, she plopped in the seat next to her, grinning. "Did you like my text?" She giggled, leaning back in the seat and throwing her legs over the one in front of her. Looking around, she frowned when she saw that the room was still mostly empty. "Where the hell is everyone?" She nodded at Micah, turning around more in her seat, noticing her youngest sibling in the back. She grinned and waved at her, but Jojo either didn't see or she ignored her. Again, whatever. Turning back to Mari, Tara leaned her head on the back of the seat. "What the hell are we even here for?"
