Name: Nabrina Sici
Race: Twi'lek
Force Sensitive: No
Birthplace: Tatooine
Age: Mid 30's

One would think that being born into a life of slavery and servitude would yield a docile and compliant nature from a being. Nabrina is a fiery contradiction to that notion. All her young life, the Twi'lek was constantly admonished by her master, a Duros by the name of Farrin Kaast. Nabrina was brutally punished by her handlers for her stubborn and spiteful disobedience on a regular basis. When she finally claimed her freedom by killing her master, Nabrina left his other slaves locked in their pens. To this day, she bears a callous and cold contempt towards those that do not fight for their freedom and allow themselves to be lorded over. Nabrina particularly despises her own Twi'lek people, on the whole. She sees them as weaklings, as many Twi'lek are kept as slaves the galaxy over.

Nabrina was born on Tatooine to her mother, Siloo. Being a slave herself, Siloo’s infant was born into the same shackles. Before her first breath, Nabrina had already been claimed as property. She was quickly weened from her mother's side, and as barely a fledgling was thrust into the ugly market of the slave trade. Nabrina was quickly traded to a long term master, a Duros crime boss by the name of Farrin. The Twi'lek slave was taken to Nal Hutta, where Farrin had his base of operations. Nabrina would spend the next several years suffering terrible inflictions and vulgarities that one so young should never have to endure. At a tender age, she had already borne the torments of having to sate the carnal appetites of Farrin’s many associates. However, Nabrina was also exposed to the various dealings of the underworld. She picked up many languages, utilizing the inherent affinity of her species. She also cultivated an education in black market trade by listening in on the conversations had by her master and his company, as they were well-known dealers in the underworld.

Slowly but surely, Nabrina ascended herself to a position of informal prominence in Farrin's company. While still regarded as a slave, she was also given a degree of authority over fledgling members of the organization. She served as an extension of Farrin’s word and had learned to handle a blaster in order to better accomplish her tasks. Oftentimes, Nabrina was party to a retinue of the Farrin’s hired thugs as they undertook various shady dealings as far as Nar Shaddaa.

As the life of most small-time underworld bosses go, Farrin would eventually see his small empire in ruin. Eventually, the Duros crossed the wrong business partner and brought the wrath of the Hutt Cartel down on his organization. When Nabrina was 19, the cartel’s thugs raided the Duros' territories in a definitive attack. Farrin sent out every soldier and goon under his command in a desperate gambit to survive. Seeing her opportunity for vengeance present itself, Nabrina stuck a knife in her masters' back while the first of the rival gangers breached his underworld stronghold. By the time the cartel agents had reached Farrin, he was already dead. Nabrina stood proudly over his corpse, satisfied that she had at least accomplished that small joy before the Hutt Clan gangsters claimed her as part of their spoils. Nabrina went from being the slave of Farrin, to being the slave of the Hutts. She was loaded aboard a slave barge along with other surviving members of Farrin’s outfit, destined for the palace of one of the Hutt crime lords. Already being on Nal Hutta, the twi’lek did not have far to go. She hastily arrived at the palace of Nojoghal Gijileen Joonthuz, a Hutt that had moved in to fill the vacuum of power left by a recent assassination of a more powerful Hutt gangster.

Nojo had orchestrated a joint operation with two other Hutt crime bosses in an effort to utterly wipe out and acquire all of Farrin’s resources. The slave barge with Nabrina was but one ship that held some of the late Duros’ property. Nabrina, along with others, were to be divided up among the Hutts, and were to be presented to their new masters. The crime bosses took turns picking out their new slaves, selecting one at a time and whittling down the number until only a handful remained.

Desperate to not continue her life as a slave, Nabrina hatched the notion that she could cause the Hutts to argue over ownership if there was an uneven number of slaves for them to pick over. Doing a quick count, the Twi’lek saw that there were nine of them (including herself) that were awaiting to be selected. Darting from her place in line, Nabrina snatched a vibro-ax from one of the guards. She used the weapon to kill another twi’lek that was standing next to her. The guards quickly subdued and disarmed Nabrina, and she was brought before the outraged Hutts. Nojo demanded an explanation from the twi’lek before he decided what kind of death for her would be most entertaining. However, when Nabrina divulged that there was now an uneven number of slaves to be distributed between the three of them, the trio of Hutts erupted in laughter. Amused by both her vicious sense of self-preservation, as well as the creative means that had enacted it, Nojo decided to spare her life. Instead, she would be placed into one of his pirate crews. The Hutt would see how far Nabrina’s ruthless nature would take her.

Nabrina then found herself in the company of a number of Weequay pirates. A good portion of the crew also consisted of combat droids loyal to Nojo. Nabrina would stay with this crew for many years, marauding the trade routes of Hutt Space and the vast Outer Rim territories. The twi’lek built on her knowledge of the underworld, and established herself as an associate to all kinds of criminal organizations.

She eventually became captain of her own ship. Many of the Nabrina’s Weequay crewmates were killed in a raid gone awry. She managed to salvage enough of the operation to bring back her tithe to Nojo. But the twi’lek had her legs severely damaged in the ordeal. Nojo saw the event as an example of the old captain’s incompetence. He granted Nabrina command of the vessel and arranged for cybernetic prosthetics to be made for the new captain. A “gift” given to her for her actions that showed she understood the value of profit and fealty.

It has been several years since her ascended captaincy, and the Twi’lek female continues to maraud under the banner of the Hutts. Nabrina scours the Outer Rim territories, attacking any vessel she feels her crew could overtake. She enjoys a life of unfettered freedom, filled with hedonism and violence. All that is required of the pirate, is that she sends her proper dues back to her Hutt master and not cross the other clans in the course of her endeavors.

Personality:
Nabrina is one that is satisfied with the position she has carved out for herself. She has little ambition to further her station, but she will manipulate, extort, and kill to keep what she has gained. The twi’lek serves her Hutt master at arms length, only imparting to them what is due and nothing more.

Concerning her crew, Nabrina does not hold a particular sentiment towards any of them. They are only as valuable as what they can perform for the captain’s personal gain. When dealing with her “superiors”, Nabrina is not one to share credit and is quick to lay blame on her subordinates.
